I am sooooo disappointed with the service I have not received.....my one month old disposal is a lemon and I now have dirty water backing up in my sink and dishwasher........kitchen service STINKS! your customer service is AWFUL...I'm so frustrated, I want to take a hammer to it

I remodeled my home completely from top to bottom. I purchased a complete package of Kitchenaid appliances from a double oven- extremely expensive since only 2 companies made that particular wall size, microwave, gas cooktop(again, same issue-extremely expensive due to size, dishwasher and side by side refrigerator. My $1000 dishwasher went immediately on the blink-days past warranty. After at least 7 visits from repair men- repairing everything from circut boards to heating coils, still no luck. It cost me 4 months of time missing work (twice repair men did not even show up)and $700.00 of repar bills and I was left without a working dishwasher. I finally went to Lowes and bought the cheapest stainless dishwasher available-$300.00 Maytag and have been extremely pleased with its performance. My $2700. dble wall oven after two self cleaning cycles shut down completely. I can't even open the doors to see the model number or have it taken out. Each time customer service has been less than stellar. As a matter of fact they have been rude, unknowledgable and completely useless!!! Did anyone have a contact number or name of anyone who has helped or how have you resolved this issue??

Am thinking of purchasing a new Kichen Aid RefrigeratorAre you offering any rebates and if so would Appliance Connection be one of your dealers who would qualify?

I purchased 2 major appliances from kitchenaid duel fuel steam oven and eq dishwasher both arrived broken - no customer service from kitchenaid - told me tuff luck - in no way should you ever buy from this company - they have moved their manufacturing plant and are not the company they used to be - you could take your chances but - i am telling you..........don't buy it if it says kitchenaid no matter what anyone says about this brand. you don't want to be in my shoes $4999.00 for the duel fuel 36" range and $968.00 for the dishwasher. An unbelieveable mistake! Not one but both are lemons 4 repairs since since install 2 months ago and both still not repaired

Hope people read these and take them seriously. KitchenAid has the worst customer service. I was installing a food disposal and called for clarification on one poorly written step in their instructions. When I FINALLY got to a rep (it's all automated, but their voice recognition system does not work) the rep said they have no one to answer questions in their organizaion; they are only permitted to read the instructions I have. She first barked, "Where did you get your instructions????" I said out of the box with the disposal. "Well, we can't give technical information, get a plumber." I said it was one minor question, don't you have anyone you can escalate this to. She said "No!" We don't answer technical questions about our products. The conservation went on rudely from their side. Like making me feel that I was a loser for DYIing the installation. Seriously, I have called many companies about questions over the last 40 years. This company is the absolute worst. Seriously don't risk buying their products.

I bought a high end KA refrigerator 4 yrs ago. I have had nothing but trouble with the ice bin freezing up. I have to take all the ice out of the bin and work for 30 - 45 mins thawing the ice out of the chute. The flap that is suppose to stay down will not close all the way. Which causes the ice to clog up in the chute. Had a man from KA came to fix it. He put a new chute and ice bin on. 3 Wks later I was thawing frozen iceburgs out of the ice chute. It has not been fixed. Today was the thawing of the ice day. I thought KitchenAide the best of best. Wrong... I paid over $1,800.00 for this piece of crap. Wish I had my money back.

I bought a Kitchenaid Proline coffee maker in 2004. I paid $300.00 for it and I thought it was the best looking and most well-built small appliance that I could get. It had a warming plate with it and an extra carafe. I was very impressed. One year after I purchased it, it broke. I called them and they replaced it. (It had a warranty of two years.) After about another year, I noticed that the finish on it was all cracking and peeling. I once again called them and they replaced it again. After two years the coffee pot just stopped working again. My warantee was up so I just threw it in the garbage. I purchased another brand of coffee maker, but I just didn't like it. Once again I went back to the department store and purchased another Kitchenaid Proline coffee maker. This time it only cost me $200.00. When I got the coffee maker home, I realized that the warming plate and extra carafe were not in the box. I called the department store and was told that it must be in the box, keep looking. Well, it wasn't in the box. After many phone calls, I was told by Kitchenaid and the department store that it does not come with a warming tray and that I could purchase one for $79.00. It's funny because the box says it has a warming tray. The department store had a sign saying coffee pot, warming tray and extra carafe. The department store told me they are not responsible for a mistake in their advertisement. I finally gave up and decided to just forget it. Well one year later this coffee pot broke. I was told by Kitchenaid that they no longer make the proline so they will replace it with a 14-cup, $99.00 replacement. It came today and it is really not a very nice coffee pot. I will use it until I can find something nicer. Yesterday I went to a very nice kitchen store and saw a coffee maker made by a German company and looks very well made. I will probably buy it. Then you want to know why we are not buying American.

We moved into our new home 4 years ago. We bought what we thought we "high end" Kitchen aid appliances. What we got was "high end" problems. Our problems began less than a year after using our appliances. First it started with a safety issue with our digital oven. We were unable to turn off our oven. Since it was a safety issue it was repaired quickly. After that, the oven wouldn't heat properly. Unfortunately this happened right before a holiday, and a year after our purchase. Kitchen aid gave us a song and dance about since we didn't have the extended warranty they couldn't get the part for 4 to 6 weeks. They told me if I could find the part, I could purchase it on my own. Miraculously, I went online and found the part from a place in New York and paid for overnight shipment. Thankfully, I was able to get my oven fixed before the holiday, but it cost me over $300. Then our dishwasher started having problems. We had purchased the two drawer dishwasher. It was one thing after another. Repairmen would come out and then a few days later it would not work. Finally I called corporate headquarters and after several more visits from repairmen, they agreed to reimburse me a lesser $ amount for my dishwasher. We quickly ran out and bought a Bosch dishwasher. It's been absolutely wonderful. Now our refrigerator is having problems again with the ice maker. We had it fixed in the beginning of our purchase and now it won't work again. A repairman came out two days ago to fix it, and low and behold after one day it isn't working again. I would NEVER recommend Kitchen aid to anyone!!! It's been one big nightmare and a bundle of money to repair all of our appliances. So far the only one working is our microwave. Lucky us!!!

Yes, where to start! They have the poorest customer service I have ever encountered. I don't believe they should even call it customer service. I have a newly remodeled kitchen. the kitchenaide dishdrawer had 3 service calls before it was even 2 weeks old. It will not even hold a dinner plate in the racks and the drawer will not close. It is a definite design flaw. According to them, it is buyers remorse, not a problem with them. HA! DO NOT BUY KITCHENAIDE PRODUCTS! THEY NO LONGER STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS.

WOW! Where should I begin. KitchenAid doesn't even deserve one star. KitchenAid is no longer the reputable brand that consumers use to be able to depend on. Ten years ago I purchased all knew KitchenAid appliances for a new home. I have had problems with EVERY KitchenAid appliance, including the refrigerator and dishwasher. However, the KitchenAid built in double oven model number KEBI276DBL6 has been, by far, the worst appliance I have ever purchased. To say it is a lemon is an understatement. I have had to have the oven repaired too many times to remember. I can't stress how difficult it is to repair a built in oven, having to pull it from the cabinet it is built into. Each time I repaired the double oven it would cost hundreds of dollars. Foolish me for not buying an extended warranty. The oven ALWAYS broke down after using the self cleaning mode. There is a fuse on the back of the appliance that would blow every time the self cleaning mode was used. This is an obvious defect however, KitchenAid refused to accept any responsibility. There are numerous blogs pertaining to this defect in KitchenAid ovens. I only wish that I had read the blogs before buying KitchenAid appliances. Eventually, I finally took my husband's advise and just stopped using the self cleaning mode, which is ridiculous on so many levels. A month ago, for no apparent reason, the oven stopped working again. It turned out to be the membrane switch in the control panel. Sounded expensive, but I was prepared to pay hundreds of dollars to fix my lemon again. However, I was wrong. Turns out the problem is unfixable! KitchenAid no longer makes the part. Their advise to me was to buy a brand knew double oven. Unfortunately, I don't have thousands of dollars lying around to replace a double oven. In the past month I have spent endless hours searching for the KitchenAid part assuming that I could find it somewhere, but I was wrong. Today, I'm finally giving in. I will take the customer representative's advice at KitchenAid and "buy a knew double oven." However, I can assure everyone at the KitchenAid corporation that I will never buy another KitchenAid appliance or any other appliance associated with this company (Whirlpool, Kenmore, etc.) I will also make sure that everyone I know that will be spending their hard earned money on an appliance knows about the problems I have encountered with KitchenAid and that KitchenAid has proven to me that they could care less about any problems a consumer has with their products. I really wonder who is running this company? Whoever you are, you should be ashamed. So to potential KitchenAid consumers, consider this a warning if you are thinking about buying a KitchenAid product. Give your hard earned money to another company. I really wish someone had warned me about the reliability of this company and their products.

We just bought a Kitchenaid Dishwasher. It has broke twice so far in a period of two weeks. I am hoping to get resolutions from either Weir's Appliance and or Kitchenaid.

I really loved KitchenAid, and want to hope that I made the right decision to spend all my money saved on buying all new KitchenAid kitchen appliances...but have had an ongoing unresolved, unusable stove/oven that went "bad" after 8mos. I post here in hopes that Kitchen Aid will do the right thing and resolve this ongoing problem/non working range. I have made many attempts and my hope is sinking. Please contact me. Seeing the comments above have not encouraged me to hope much. I tried to leave the full detailed info...but the link says it is too large and will not let me submit...Maybe I did not give enough stars????

I posted earlier, not all that I wanted because it kept rejecting it as to big...so I just sent one about 1 of my full line of kitchenaid appliances, Stove/range, micro,Dishwasher, french type 3 door fridge..after I sent it to this CORPORATE SITE. wOW, i HAVE A FEELING THERE WILL BE NO RESOLVE, AS i SEE MANY OTHERS WITH MULTIPLE KITCHEN AID APPLIANCES HAVE HAD PROBLEMS...i GUESS IT IS NO LONGER OUR MOTHERS "KITCHENAID" COMPANY. I ONLY WROTE IN ABOUT MY kITCHENAID RANGE PROBLEMS, BUT i ALSO HAVE HAD AN UNRESOLVED PROBLEM WITH MY MICRO WHEN CONDENSATION BUILDS WHILE COOKING ON THE STOVE TOP...AND i HAVE PROBLEMS WITH MY DISHWASHER CONSTANTLY CAUSING "FOGGY UNCLEAR GLASSES" AFTER WASHING....AND MY FRIDGERATOR DOOR DOES NOT CLOSE TIGHTLY. LOOKING AT ALL THE COMMENTS...I HAVE LITTLE HOPE TO ANY RESOLVE. OHHHH AND i NOTICED THAT THE LAST BRIEF POST I SUBMITTED, SAID IT HAD TO BE APPROVED, THEN IT WOULD BE POSTED...WONDER IF THAT WILL HAPPEN? i GAVE THEM 2 STARS BECAUSE i STILL HAD HOPE AND WELL ALL BUT THE STOVE IS STILL OPERATING BUT WITH ISSUES. TRYING TO BE FAIR.

We moved into a new house 4 years ago. Our kitchen has all KitchenAid appliances. So far, I have had the frig repaired once, the microwave twice and now the oven went out. We self cleaned the oven for the first time a couple weeks before Thanksgiving and it burned out the fuse. The repairman came and needed to order parts. As a result, we had Thanksgiving with 14 people over and no oven. We made the best of it, but it wasn't easy. It has now been more than a month and the oven still isnt fixed. They came back, but then discovered the real issue was that the fan that cools the electronics wasnt working. Once it was explained to me, I realized it had never worked. Since we had never used the self cleaning, it had not over heated enough. So KitchenAid's response it to say "sorry, but you are past your warranty". To their small credit, they offered half on the fan replacement part. That is a very small amount of what it takes to fix it. Their customer support clearly must have lots of these types of issues as they just wouldn't budge from the standard response. No care at all given to any special circumstance. Based on the horrid track record of my multiple appliances as well as the little care from their support, I will never purchase a KitchenAid appliance again. Furthermore, I will be letting as many people as possible know of my experience. Paul R. I am disgusted by the lack of customer care and reasoning that kitchen aid has - we purcahse a "high end" dishwaser in March of 2009. Since then we have had 4 or 5 repairs on this thing - I have had to take off multiple days to have a repairman come in a "band aid" the problems this thing has - so much so that I at least got kitchen aid to extend the original one year warranty to two years (though I had to fight tooth and nail for that). here we are one week before Christmas and the saga continues...it breaks down yet again!!! - The service guy comes out and can not find the problem - order some parts but tell me it will probably not fix the probelm. i call kitchen aid "customer service" multiple time - I must have spent hours on hold - I was told that m y file was being sent to product review for exchange - I call today and am told that my product does not qualify!! Are you kidding me??? 5 service calls in less than two years - dishpan hands - time off of work and it does not quality for an exchange?? Sorry - maybe my mustake but I thought when you purchase a major appliance tha is supposedly a high end one (over $1500.00) that it was to work...not break down every 4 months! Are you kiddng me??/ I will never ever buy another kitchen aid appliance and in fact am quickly spreading the word to all friends and facebook community toi stay away from this brand - this is atrocious!!!

Four years ago, we purchased three major Kitchenaid appliances, all architect series:dishwasher, stove & microwave; after not even one month, the microwave which had been used once to make tea, stopped working; I was lucky enough that the store from which I had purchased the appliances exchanged it for me; however, I have had major problems with all three appliances, the microwave has been serviced at least 5 times, the dishwasher had to have a piece replaced after 6mo and the stove had the computer replaced and another internal piece, the material under the burners is crumbling, the outside which is supposedly stainless steel is stained on both the stove and the dishwasher, stained from WATER, now u tell me if I didn't get three LEMONS, the technicians tell me that Kitchenaid is not responsible of the outside material, if they are not responsible then who is???????????????????I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER KITCHENAID anything ever again!!!!!!!!!!!!I am very disappointed to say the least!

I purchased KA Pro 6 mixer which died during it's 4th use. I have gotten an inexcusable run around from your Customer Service. I have not dealt with such a disreputable organization in my life. I have expressed my opinion on KA's facebook page numerous times discouraging people from wasting their money on KA or if they have beware of a customer service dept from Hell.

My name is Juliet I live in New Jersey. I grew up in a family with 6 children. My mother Joan and Father Al have had the same dishwasher for forty years. It still runs better than mine. (I will leave my brands name out of it) I have prof of my claim my mother still has the origanal reciept. Six children that means sometimes it was ran more than once a day. I will be 40 years old in December and Im the youngest. So thank you Kitchen Aid I will be buying my next appliance from you. It may be alittle more but you get what you pay for. (609)404-7760

I moved into a new house with a kitchenaid refrigerator already installed. One and 1/2 years later it stopped cooling. It was thanksgiving so I called who ever i could get asap. it still was not fixed completely. I called again in feb 2010. a service man came out again and told me it was fixed. It cooled better but not to capacity. In august 2010 i called again and was told it was an air baffle and it was on back order. I was told originally it was on backorder. today is sept 27th and having a hard time believing any part in the US was on backorder for over a month, I called kitchenaid manufacterer customer sx. Today, i was told by whirlpool manufacturer that the part is obsolete and i would have to try to find another part myself. The managers name was tequilla. I have had mold growing in my refrigerator now for a week so not only is it not useable it is now dangerous. I am disgusted and appalled at this service especially when health becomes an issue. I feel my refrigerator should be replaced if it can't be fixed after being used for 1 1/2 yrs.
