You cant hold kitchen aid accountable for what a single employee tweets...there are bad tweeters everywhere...its what the company does when it becomes aware that you can hold accountable...In this case the employee was fired...case closed...judge kitchen aid on its products ...not on some nuts behavior ...nuts are everywhere,,,if you judged a company on its nutty employees you would have to boycott every company in america.
I bought a KitchenAid refrigerator 7 years ago. The freezer stopped getting cold 2 weeks ago, I called the 800 number inside the door. My rep was nice and located in Michigan. She sent out a tech, and replaced the compressor for FREE. Today I went to Pacific Sales (CA) and bought a new KitchenAid Oven/Microwave, 3500 bucks but when a company stands behind their product and keeps their employees in USA I support them. GREAT JOB!
My child was burned from steam being emitted by one of your proline Kitchenaid dishwashers. Also my surrounding cabinetry was damaged. The vent was placed on the side and the louvers were directed in such a way that the steam is forced into the surrounding cabinetry and out the front where small children could easily be harmed by the hot steam. Your customer service department has thus far failed to offer a solution. I intend to sue Kitchenaid since you have not stood behind your product and this obvious design flaw.
I am angry and appalled at the tasteless tweet by your company about President Obama during the presidential debate. I have been searching for a new dishwasher and was considering a KitchenAid product but now will never buy a KitchenAid product.
Appalling, egregious, just plain wrong. The perpetrator should be fired or demoted and KitchenAid should make a charitable contribution to an organization in memory of the President’s grandmother. I will certainly not purchase another KitchenAid product!
I have been a KitchenAid customer for over 20 years; every appliance in my kitchens of the last three houses have been KitchenAid, including the mixers. I am outraged by the disrespect your twitter employee displayed against the President. This knucklehead employee should be fired. If not, you are condoning the behavior regardless want you communicate on a corporate level. In the future, I will remember this offensive event and question my loyalty to your company.
Thanks for making my shopping choices easier. Your incredibly stupid comment means I never have to consider buying a KitchenAid product again.
KitchenAid obviously subscribes to the same business model as Chick-fil-A....moronic representation. After the repulsive comment from your "Twitter Team," I make a pledge to never again buy another KitchenAid or Whirlpool product. To mock the passing of anyone, in and of itself, is unacceptable. That you would not terminate an individual for a comment like that, also unacceptable. Rest assured you will no longer get my business in the future and I will make it a personal mission to let everyone I know to do the same.
I own a Kitchen Aid, Refrigerator, Diswasher, Stove, Microwave, Stand Mixer and Hand Mixer. However, after your "tweet" last night about the President I will never buy another Kitchen Aide appliance!
I have been a KitchenAid consumer for over 50 years and now will never again buy one of your products due to the disrespect you gave our President about his grandmother. Even if you do not agree with Obama, have the decency to respect the office and more importantly the hurt you caused his young daughters and family. Shame on you KitchenAid!
I will never buy another Kitchn Aid product because of your offensive smear against the president.
You have lost my lifelong business and that of every memeber of my immediate family. To say that an employee tweeted this and will not tweet again, in lieu of the employee being fired, is a slap in the face. Bye bye kitchenaide!
The tweet coming from KitchenAid was outright offensive and disturbing. I swear by your products but i ASSURE YOU that i will never purchase another product of yours if you support such a statement and do nothing to reprimand or fire whoever was responsible. I am outraged over this tweet toward our president by your company!
Regarding your horrific tweet about the President -Your Facebook apology was hollow. I will never buy one of your products again.
Oct 3, 2012 - Presidential debate with Obama vs Romney. Kitchenaid officially tweeted an insulting remark about President Obama stating that his grandmother died 4 days before he became President, implying it was a mistake!!! I have never felt so insulted by a corporate brand before. I own a Kitchenaid fridge, and was contemplating buying their stand mixer. NEVER AGAIN!!! How dare they get into politics and insult one of the finest presidents we have ever had in the US. And the first black president. I am proud of Obama, trying his best to fix what BU$$H&DICK funneled out of the national bank account into their private pockets. What a rotten company. BOYCOTT THEIR PRODUCTS IMMEDIATELY!!!!
do not like your company never buy products are you for real or do just sit around making up bad jokes for twitter
Way to go KitchenAid. Your anti-Obama tweet just sent my business elsewhere.
I purchased my home approx 5 years ago and at that time had the kitchen remodeled. I choose all Kitchenaid appliances thinking I was purchasing a higher quality product. I purchased a Stainless Steel Sid-by Side Refrigerator, Top of the line SS Gas Freestanding Convection oven, tio-of the line Under the counter SS Microwave and SS whisper quiet Dishwasher. After 3 years of normal residential use I started having a problem with first the oven then the frig then the dishwasher and now the microwave. So basically in 5 years I had a problem with each one of the appliance and had each one of them repaired (Oven & Ref twice). Except for the SS microwave which repair company wants $375 for repair. And will end up buy a new one, but NOT a Kitchenaid. I must say that I am extrememly disappointed with the over all performance of the appliances. I feel the premium price and was not worth and the appliance are not of premium quality. I can assure you of this my next major appliance purchase(s) will not be Kitchenaid.
I have used your products for many years, but after the tasteless tweet by your employee, I will never purchase another product by your company. I will ensure that everyone in my contact list, both personal and professional, are aware of your unprofessional and pathetic staff members. PATHETIC
I would like to see more of KitchenAid products made here in the United States of America, NOT China!
