very bad kitchenaid products
Do not buy kitchenaid products. My expensive dishwaher bought 11-2011 does not work well. Have to wash dishes twice to get near clean. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand so you dont have to suffer. Whirpool/kitchenaid should be avoided at all costs.
Kitchen Aid convection toaster oven broken
We bought this oven just a couple of years ago. I really liked that oven. But today it stopped working. My husband opened the cover and found that fz31-9 rotary switch has been overheated and as result oven does not heat anymore. Not able to find that part so far, but found this forum instead. I have to kiss goodbye to my oven and all KitchenAid product in future. Thank to all of you who report their review here. I live in America and I want American product and quality like it used to be. What we have how? Bad products, ruined economy and unemployment rate like in Great Depression.
they will not stand behind there product
When did they go bad? 1980s? Kichenaid was at the top at one time?
Terrible service
Kitchen aid appliances is not a quality product , their customer service sucks
Never Will Purchase KitchenAid Again
We purchased a KitchenAid dishwasher that cost close to $1000 less than two years ago (June 2011). About a month ago we had to have the front electronic panel replaced because the lights remained lit at all times. That was the first repair. Tonight when we opened the top tray to load glasses, we noticed the tray became unbalanced. As we pulled the tray out, we discovered that three of the four hinges that hook the tray on the glider and at the wheels, were broken. This must have happened over the less than two years that we owned the dishwasher. When we called to inquire about a repair under our 5-year warranty that we purchased when we bought the dishwasher rom HHGregg, we were told that the parts were not covered! What kind of products does KitchenAid sell? This dishwasher is less than two years old and we already had one repair and to our surprise, three of four hinges were already broken and they are not covered on the 5-year warranty. Well, we ended up ordering the parts which costs us approximately $75 with a $13 shipping cost, WOW! That is terrible, no doubt, poor quality for the price you pay! It's time to go back to MADE IN AMERICA! What a waste of money for our 5-year warranty too! Never again will we purchase KitchenAid.
new gas range is a joke
Purchased range, dish washer and micro-wave just after Christmas 2012, range had to be replaced because it was defective, new stove arrived same model, and now the convection oven does not work. I have had repairmen here several times and still the problem has not been corrected even though a new part was installed to correct the oven. Next order of business will be to write company and demand my money back. Quality control is non-existent with this company.
Kitchen Aid convection toaster oven broken
I have called every parts place and every number to Kitchen Aid They do not supply the small internal part called a rotary switch # FZ31-9. I am told they do not support thais part. I though Kitchen Aid was a quality product. Remember it is out sorced to China, bad Choice for Kitchen Aid, and a bad choice for me to buy from them. Now tell me they made this toaster oven the part is womewhere in this world. I want the damm part.
Terrible Customer Service
I was appalled at the customer relations representative when I complained about the handle of my microwave oven being broken. Even if I had purchased an extended warranty on it, she said it is not covered because it is not a "mechanical problem". She further quipped that the handle is a"cosmetic" part only and that I had to purchase a replacement handle for almost $60.00.The handle, by the way, was plastic. I wish she could try opening the microwave oven without a handle, then she would find out it is not for "cosmetic" purposes after all. I just hope that my other Kitchen Aid appliances won't have a problem in the future with the terrible customer service you have.
Horrible Service
I have a kitchenAid inductions cooktop that has been broken for almost 5 months now. I've had services out to my house three times now and I am waiting for a part that is on "forever backorder". First it was the end of November, then is was supposidly shipped December 31st and now it is the end of February. I bought KitchenAid because it was supposed to be a reputable "High-end" appliance. Never again. I can't believe I have to wait this long to get it repaired. I'm not sure if it ever will be.
Lousy sevice & support
My $3,000 oven broke down in 15 months. Kitchen attempted four times to fix it but couldn't. I had to take half day off each time to attend to the repair guy. Kitchenaid refused to replace it; time is past the 12-month warranty period. Who would believe an expensive item like this will break down so soon. I won't go near this company again.
NEVER WILL PURCHASE A KITCHENAIDE AGAIN!!!!!!!
Horrible customer service. All I was requesting was a Saturday appointment and a customer service supervisor told me "I was just upset because I wasnt getting what I wanted". After having to pay someone to stay at my house because I can't take off work three times, the frig still isn't fixed!!!Purchased in July. I am so disgusted.
Horrendous and horrific after sales customer service
Purchased 2 kitchenaid mixer from kitchenaid directly in November. Returned one via FedEx in early December however after a month or so of back and forth. They said I should wait 4 - 6 weeks which I heard 4 weeks ago. All they said was the package has not been checked in yet but the package was received by an employee 6 weeks ago. Every call including their supervisor results in wait a few more weeks. I can not guarantee a date for credit. I am appalled by this type of service.
Warranty
My microwave oven has not worked for three months now. I worked with their warranty service for over two months to resolve the issue. Fed up with the warranty companies inability to fix the problem, I called Kitchen Aide to ask for a replacement. I was told that I would have to keep working with the warranty company until the problem was resolved. I explained to the service manager Scott that I was without a functioning microwave for three months now and he kept repeating the same line that I would have to keeping working with the service company until it was resolved regardless of the time I had no use of the microwave. I told him that I would contact his corporate office in order to resolve this. He could careless. Based on my experience I will never buy kitchen aide products ever again nor would I ever recommend them to anyone.
Very, very inflexible customer service
On oct.10 2012 I ordered what I thought was a full blender. I must have presses the wrong button--the www page is poorly designed, I imagine--and got a carafe instead! The process is so slow and the communication between offices and warehouses is not existent, and as a result have not received the blender, which I requested when I returned the carafe. Today is December 4! Need I say more? I think the appliances are among the best, but the customer service is inflexible and we'd to a very cumbersome system
dissapointed
I had to purchase an entire detergent dispenser for our stainless kitchenaid dishwasher for $113.00. The part that I needed was a loose locking tab which held the detergent door closed until needed to open by a timed cycle. When I say "loose", I mean this item gets attached seperately to the dispenser but is not sold seperately. I would like to know why not and why is this small plastic part not made of a better grade of plastic or perhaps made of cast aluminum. In all fairness I think anybody would be very upset and dissapointed for the reasons I have given. I will research other appliances and their replacement parts policy before purchasing my next one. I had to rate your office according to the service it provided which was none yet. Thank you
4 purchased 4 broken
i have purchased 4 yes 4 kitchen aid/whirlpool appliances and all 4 have had to be repaired. if this was a lottery im sure i would have been a big winner picking 4 out of 4 winners [in this case 4 out of 4 lossers] also factory authorized repair service was the biggest ripoff yet. todays repair bill 300.00 with another 300.00 to be due when part arrives. is there some bigger problem wi these brands? hoping to get some sort of relief from corporate headquarters. maybe i can be a winner [losser] again?
Horrific Customer Service
I purchased a $3000 plus Kitchenaid refrigerator in August of 2012. The refrigerator literally started making noises as the delivery driver was pulling away from my home. I have had a total of (6) service calls now and the unit is still not working. I have spoken to numerous people in customer service to try to get a replacement unit, but Kitchenaid refuses. The wait time to speak to a customer service representative is always 15 minutes or more. Once you do finally get to speak to someone, they seem to be cluelees about any calls that have been placed prior and want to start everything from square one. Twice now, I've spoken to sarcastic reps, one which told me they would have to start charging for the service calls because there have been so many. Really???? Every service call that has been placed has a problem documented, and now you think it is ok to start charging because you cant fix the problem in the machine you produced. My last call was with a supervisor named Lucas who was out and out rude. I will NEVER EVER EVER purchase another Kitchenaid product again!!!!!!!!! What a horrible example of a once great American Company that has fallen from greatness. Buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Solo happens to be deemed the state PC video games headset involving MLG (Important League Gambling). When it pertains gaming opposite a huge, noisy herd, you require a headset which will block external usb noise
Robot culinaire
N'acheter pas le robot culinaire kitchen aid portant le numéro du modèle KFP7150B2. Ça fait même pas deux ans que je l'ai et elle est déjà fini.
I've had my KitchenAid dishwasher since 2001, and it works very, very well,(knock on wood) we all know what happens when we compliment something. All kidding aside, my wife and I have been well pleased with our decade old + dishwasher with only one caveat and that is the upper dish tray is beginning to rust through and weaken. I am now in the process of calling KitchenAid to remedy that situation
