Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc Corporate Office & Headquarters

My husband and I filed with Jackson Hewitt this year and we did not get all our refund deposited into bank account. Checked with IRS and were told that Jackson took out preparation fees twice they " double dipped". I am furious. I feel they should refund us all fees. Not to mention it took forever to receive refund but they said not their fault. Do they ever take responsibility? Never again!

If there was an option for zero stars I would have used that. I think we should take them to court and all get our money back. They are "double dipping " and basically committing fraud

I HAVE HAD A MOST HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE WITH JACKSON HEWITT, MARCH 17 2011 I WAS TOLD BY A TAX PERSON WORKING FOR JACKSON HEWITT THAT MY REFUND WAS 21.00 DOLLARS, WHEN I WAS EXPECTED A REFUND OF 4,632.00, BUT WAS TOLD THAT A ERROR IN MY TAXES MY REFUND WAS GROSSLY MISCALCULATED. I HAD A NERVOUSE BREAK-DOWN, I HAD LOST MY FULL TIME JOB THAT YEAR AND MY TAXES WAS THE ONLY INCOME THAT WAS GOING TO STOP MY DAUGHTER AND I FROM BEING HOMELESS. I WAS CHARGED OVER 300.00 DOLLARS FOR THIS PREPARATION, AND THE ONLY THING I GOT WAS AN APPOLGY, THAT MADE ME PHYSICALLY THROW THE HELL-UP. MY REFUND WAS OVER 4,000.00 DOLLARS, AND I AM NOT HOMELESS. NO THANKS TO JACKSON HEWITT, CHESAPEAKE VA.

Jackson Hewitt is constantly being investigated for tax fraud. They owe me and no one has any answers. 1st and last time I ever use them

I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!! In 2010, my husband did business with them and it was "fair" for the most part. We got our tax return and nothing went wrong, (honestly, I think we didn't get the correct amount that we should of got) so this year we decided to go to them again. Well, I did mine separately and the office I went to was the one on Madison Ave and Auburn Blvd, Sacramento, CA. I have to say, for a company that do alot of advertisement for business, they surly need to work on the customer service/ personality part of the business! There was NO customer service, the guy did my taxs wrong because I saw it after I got home and it took like a month to get my tax return. On top of that when I went to pick up the check, the amount picked up was not the amount that I saw before. I asked the lady that was there that day if I was going to get another check. She just looked at me like I was crazy and I explained to her that the amount was not right. She said that they took out there portion after the amount of the tax return paid to me. I even asked the guy that did my tax if that was the amount paid to me prior to me picking it up and he said yes, which was the wrong answer. So I guess the problem was that the person doing my tax return didn't understand my question or else he purposly chose not to tell me that JH was going to charge me separately than what was projected on the screen for me to sign when I came in to do it. It may not be alot but that's a difference of $300.00 than what I was told. So after arguing with them for awhile I relized that I will never do business with this company again! Past the word along to any one who think they want to do business with this company.

This company SUCK!!! I went to an office where I lived to file my taxs and the MOD was helping me. She was RUDE, NOT HELPFUL AND RUSHING ME TO GET OUT OF THERE!!! After I gave her a piece of mind I left and called the corporate number found on their website. The guy that picked up was also RUDE, INCONSIDERATE and tell me that it was my fault. This business is going down and I am never going back to them!

I used to go to H&R block to do my taxs but we moved and JH was closer to where I lived now. I went to it and the service was bad, they did my taxs wrong and they gave me the run around when it came to picking up my check. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I am going back to H&R which is about 45 minutes away from here because they have always been good to me.

I will NEVER file taxes with this company again!! I decided to try jackson Hewlitt because i moved. (WRONG DECISION!!) After filing my taxes i found out someone claimed my son. (ok, I know that this is not their problem but they decided to e file my taxes instead of paper filing).okay..... Irs told me to amend my taxes and they can be done for free if under $50,000. I went back to jackson hewitt to do so they tried to charge me 300!!! for a amendment!!!! H & R Block amends for free!!!! I will never use them again..... Notice every single review on here is bad towards jackson hewitt, its obvious to me that they are crooks and liars. I wish i had saw this before i filed with them beacuse maybe they wouldnt have stolen my money too here in springfield missouri. Well im gonna print out 20 copies of this and go to the store location where they have taken my money and i am going to stand outside and hand a copy of this to customers walking in to try to warn them of the danger they are walking into as well. I will never use jackson hewitt again neither will any of my family or my friends.

Yesterday I decided I would try Jackson Hewiitt (JH) for the first time. I called 305-232-2727 at around 3:45pm to get info on the closest JH office and closing time. I told the operator I found the 15720 SW 72 st. office on the internet and i wanted to know the closing time. The operator told me that office closed at 8pm. Then 30 min. later when I arrived at the office it was empty! The JH office at 15720 SW 72 st. didn't exist anymore; it was empty and waiting for a new renter! I called the operator at the JH customer service (305-232-2727) and she explained that JH offices are franchises and the office at 15720 had relocated to 184 St / US-1. After my driving through rush hour traffic and wasting 30 min., the best the operator could do is give me the current address for the new office location (that she had all along). I was furious! I've decided that on Monday I will go to H&R Block. Keep up the good work. The internet is full of unhappy JH customers that have posted your poor history of customer service. Good riddance!

I had my taxes filed at the Emporia, Virginia office on 2/2/2011. I had to return to the office on 2/15/2011 as they would not file my 1099 from the military on 2/2/2011. My mother and I went into the office on 2/15/2011. They refiled an amended return for everything and I was charged 227.95 total: 137.95 on the first day and then 90.00 on the second day. The lady stated I would receive my federal refund 883.00 and state check of 39.00 would be direct deposited. When I went back in on 2/15/2011 they stated I would receive 553.00 back from WI state tax and owed 468.00 for the bonus 1099 I received. As of 3/17/2011 I have yet to receive my state check from Wisconsin and received a nasty letter from the state of Wisconsin stating I had to prove my legal residency in Virginia. As my residency was not stated properly on my tax return. I called the local office because I had to send copies of my taxes for both Virginia and Wisconsin to them and there were no copies in the folder Ms. Shannon had given me. When I went to pick up the copies I was told that the office had made a mistake on my amended return and would be getting nothing back from Wisconsin but still owed the 468.00 back for the bonus 1099. I sent my tax information to our CPA and he stated that the taxes were done improperly. That Jackson Hewitt had no residence for me from May of 2010 to August 2010 and that is why I was having to prove it to them. Also they added the bonus 1099 as business income when it should of been added as other income causing a large state tax on me that caused the 468.00 being owed to the IRS. I had to call other tax preparers in this state to refile my 2nd amended taxes again for the 3rd time. I had my mother call the main office in South Hill, VA and she was rudely spoken to by Randy, was not given his last name. She called there to speak with Chad Barbour but was given to the man named Randy. He would not talk with her regarding a refund for the money I had paid already to have my taxes screwed up by JACKSON HEWITT. Also he wanted me to trust this company again for the 3rd time to correctly file my taxes. That man Randy stated to call the manager of Emporia Office Melvin Vicks on Monday and he would refile my taxes for free but the refund would have to be decided by him. I WILL NOT EVER HAVE MY TAXES DONE BY JACKSON HEWITT AGAIN!I will make sure that the military and everyone I know that the JACKSON HEWITT in Emporia, VA and South Hill, VA are rude, unfair, and dont care about their customers or what this has caused me. I am having them rechecked again besides the CPA checking them, he states now that because of his corrected changes I would be getting back 211.00 from Wisconsin and the residency had been corrected, that the changes made have affected my Virginia state refund and my federal refund also. We will see! People who do business like this that guarantee satisfaction should follow through, there was NO SATISFACTION HERE AT ALL!!!!! I am ashamed to admit that I trusted JACKSON HEWITT and I will not be that stupid again!

This was the first and last time I used Jackson Hewitt. I have been a long time customer of H & R Block. I had to go to the Jackson Hewitt office four times to get my paperwork right. The made a mistake that would have cost me around $1200 of return money. They told me I was approved for a RAL which I never got from them. I made the mistake of having them load my refund on to the card they issue in lue of my checking account. The IRS has put the money into thier account and I have not seen any money yet. I can not get a straight answer from anyone with that company. I filed a complaint with the complaint department and was told I would have it the money two days ago. Now I still do not have my refund, can not get help or an answer. The thing that I can not understand is no one I mean no one seems to know who I need to talk to. I am looking into filling a suite against this company for fruad. The did not make good on any of the claims. First, I dropped by the office at Chambers Road & Iliff here in Aurora, CO - I walked in and wanted to check on getting my taxes prepared for me. There were two gentlemen working with people, so I stood at the "reception" desk and waited .... and waited .... and waited .... it was not even acknowledged that I was there. They did see me, both of them, and they didn't even say a word to me. I finally left. So, I decided to give Jackson Hewitt a second chance. I went home and called the set up at the Walmarts at South Chambers and Parker Road. I spoke with a lady and set up an appointment for today (Saturday, March 5th) at 11 a.m. I arrived at 10:50a and had a seat. At 11:15a no one showed up. I went to the beauty salon and got my hair cut and walked back to the kiosk at 12:30p and she still had not arrived. There were others waiting to get taxes done, also. I don't know what your criteria is to have a Jackson Hewitt franchise, but seems to me you need to raise your standards. I will NEVER go back to a Jackson Hewitt, nor will I ever suggest anyone I know use the service.

Thanks to Jackson Hewitt, my husband and I now owe over $9,000 in penalties and interest to the IRS and the state of Maryland. Since we are not experts, and know very little about filing taxes, we pay the "experts" to file our taxes for us. However, these "experts" screwed up pretty bad on our returns. They did get us a nice refund in 2006 - then the IRS sends a letter stating we were not entitled to that refund! (After it's all spent, of course) Sooo... now, we owe double that amount in penalties & interest. We are poor folks - below poverty. There is no way we can pay that kind of money. Especially when we are not the ones who filed a fraudulent claim! We trusted Jackson Hewitt to file appropriately and instead, this is what happened! We should be getting big earned income credits, not owing the IRS!!!

i filed my taxes in nashville on nolensville pike it has truly been a horriable expiernce the people who filed them did not know anything matter of fact i went back to the office to speak with someone else and no 2 people told me the same thing this is the first and last time

I used Jackson Hewitt about 5 years ago and I will never use them again ever!!! I do my own taxes now and never have had a problem with my taxes now. My best friend just got audit from the IRS yesterday because of Jackson Hewitt DO NOT USE THEM!!!
