i appreciate a&f the clothes are lovely the models are natural and are always on task the jeans are honestly a perfect size for me because i'am skinny and btw the managers are hired for a reason oviously so dont hate appeciate
Dear Sir, I have just recently witnessed testimony from one of your models of deviant behavior committed by one of your photographers on a photo shoot. This young man was traumatized by the experience. Apparently this is not only common, but it is also acceptable at Abercrombie and Fitch. This man, who has been working for your company for a very long time, and who has a less than honorable reputation within your company continues to use his success, as a weapon against young people looking to succeed in the modeling world. Please, I urge you, take a closer look at what your company's values are. You say you celebrate youth, then why be party to destroying it? This man has a license to abuse. I plead with you to open your eyes. Adele Portland, Oregon
i think the whole staff are so arrogant period. you go to their store and they be racist, you shop online and they processed it whenever they feel like meanwhile they saying it only takes 6-8 day mines took 11 days and over like what the hell. hope u guys dont get customers you makeand buy your own stuff smh
I'm a very tall and skinnier girl so finding jeans is especially hard for me. Hollister and Abercrombie actually sell jeans that fit me in length and width and actually look good. Therefore, I absolutely LOVE, well loved, their bootcut. I bought every new pair that came out. I actually own every pair on the websites. But, I live and work on a farm. So I can't be dressed in skinny jeans with high heels or flats because they just get ruined along with my pants. So of course I need to keep buying pants which I now can't to from here since they don't sell in stores and I can't order offline all the time and rebuy pants I already own. So I'm very upset about them not having bootcut and honestly it sucks I now have to buy silver or bke jeans in replace and I just don't like them near as much. So please just get back bootcut! I'm sure losing us as customers isn't much but a lot of people have gave up on these companies already!
I went to this store with part of my family the thing is that my family is kinda big so like six of us were at the store. Any way we are shopping and when we go up to pay the girl was like you can only buy twenty items that are on sale but you can buy more than that if they are regular priced items. I was like i only have like five and she said but i saw all of you come in at once and i can only sale twenty items per group of the ones on sale. She was really rude and told me that if i had a problem i could contact customer service via e-mail, so i asked her for her name and the e-mail address of the customer complaint center, they took like a week to finally answer and aid that they would call the store and take to their emploees. I went back after two weeks to the store and the really rude girl was still really rude to us and acted like a total b****

we were Christmas shopping in mall st. vincent in shreveport, la on december 23, 2011 around 7:00pm. my family and i were in your store shopping and already had some items in our hands that we were planning on purchasing. i went into a dressing room to try on a couple of shirts and my girls came in their with me to see how the shirts looked on me. we heard someone bang on the door and say get out of here right now. at first we thought it was some kind of joke and it was someone that we knew. we couldn't believe it when we opened the door to find it was one of your employees talking to us like a child. she yelled at us. when we asked to speak to a manager she said she was the manager. we asked for her name and she refused to give it to us. we ended up getting her name from another employee that works there. needless to say we didn't make any purchases but definitely had good intentions on doing so. she was very rude and unprofessional in the manner that she spoke to me and my family. we are paying customers and should not be treated like that!! her name is "jessica" and she has no business being a manager over anything!!! she is a short blonde headed female. please contact me concerning this matter.
ok so i am 15 and i like the way clothes fits from hollister but do the jeans have to jack u the price so mutch + a&f sucks dont ever go in there ever in ur life the smell music all the clothes mixed nothin in stores not even jeans not one pair only 8 to 10 diff. shirt 2 jackets 1 ber short 4 sweat pants
well If you dont like the store why do you buy there?. That store its obviously not for you.A&F is not forcing you to wear anything. you want a specific type of jeans? go somewhere else, where they have your size... or loose weight n.n THeres is a store for everyone, so be happy and well sorry but not everybody can pull of the Abercrombie and Fitch look... :0) so if you cant then you cant... sorry!
Have to rate A&B at a 1 and only for one reason. I purchase many items there for my Grandkids however I can't stand to be in there longer than 10 minutes only because the music is so loud that I can't concentrate. I get it that it's a cool store but really...does the music have to be so damn loud? I'm not saying that I don't like the tunes. I just think it's really aggravating that they feel it is necessary to crank the volume. Considering I have spent more money than I can count in there, I would appreciate a little consideration while I shop. I would have no problem browsing and buying more if I could hear myself think. Until A&B (and Hollister, too) change their tune (so to speak) I will no longer be shopping in those stores when I am at any mall that they are in.
I also have just had the WORST experience with an AF Manager at Southdale in Edina MN. I think her name is Laura and she was SO RUDE. I was suggesting they provide generic gift cards instead of the inappropriate ones (not acceptable for my 11 year-old niece). She cut me off mid-sentence treating me so rude. When I asked her name, she walked away from me and said she wouldn't tell me her name and said I wanted to make a complaint to the manager and she said she was the manager. OMG! Corporate is hearing about this and so is her store manager. She should be FIRED!!!!
My friend just turned my on to your boot cut jeans, which I love. Why would you stop carrying such a popular jean??? I hate skinny jeans, so I am very dissapointed. The only thing I truely hate about the store is the strong frangrance (gross), and the loud music. Although I have never complained the store itself so as to not offend others. I am a normal, non critical person. So if I feel this way, I am sure others do too. I am a business owner myself, so when there is criticism you should learn from it.
In response to A&F "Manager" .......you are nothing short of being a POS and you suck as a manager! I'm glad people trash your store and treat you like shit! You deserve it! By the way, restock your boxes dumbass!
Im really upset that abercrombie and hollister has completely done away with bootcut jeans. I dont wear skinny jeans because they are popular, they look ridiculous on me. They only offer 3 different pairs of bootcut jeans and two of the pairs are plain. I dont understand why they try force people to be a part of a trend.
I am very upset that your stores (hollister) has stopped selling bootcut jeans. Hollister's bootcut jeans are the only jeans that fit me correct. I find this so stupid to only sell skinny jeans (it looks a little silly to wear skinny jeans with flip-flops and other shoes besides boots). It's winter and I have no bootcut jeans to wear because of this. All of my friends agree with me. As ya'll are already over priced we have no reason to shop in your stores until bootcuts are back!
I hope that "A&F Manager" is not a real Manager for these stores. I am a manager myself and you are obviously not wel train or "smarter than the average American" or you would not be so rude. Without your "rude customers" your store would not exist!!! You should be fired. Very disapointed with these companies.
I have an issue with one of your stores located at Tanger outlets in Hilton Head, SC. My friend who is was visiting from Brazil and I drove from Orlando Florida to shop at the Avercrombie store for the Christmas holidays and my friend also wanted to take items back to Brazil. We drove over 5 hours to get there, the manager said we could only take 30 items in total and I asked if this was per person and he replied that no it was per group and even after showing him our identifications to prove our addresses (Hers from Brazil and mine from Florida) he would not budge on this so I asked him if you have a bus load of tourist with 31 people in a group what are you going to do? He didn’t reply. This happened on Saturday November the 12th. To say I’m disappointed is to say the least. The store it self was great afantastic selection of clothes to choose from but after the treatment we received I have to rate you 1 star. Sincerely, Raul Sanchez Chez140@yahoo.com
I was in the store 10968 today and One of the cashier was rude. I paid my purchased with 2 different transactions and the cashier said "why didn't I tell him that I'm going to paid separately". I mean I paid you it doesn't matter how many transactions you still need to do it. Anyway a&f employees are rude. Your company better train them how to treat your customer other wise you will close soon.
I agree with Robyn about the music being too loud. I shop there all the time in the kids store for my 9yo and 13yo because they have the smaller kids sizes. I took my mother in with the kids to go shopping for my little one for her birthday. We totally planned to spend time in there and buy tons of stuff for her. But the music was so loud we could not even hear each other talk without yelling in each other's ears. It was completely absurd. We got fed up after trying on a few items that we couldn't even have a conversation. We bought a shirt, skirt, and expensive hoodie. When checking out, I mentioned very professionally to the checkout clerk that we wanted to spend more time but simply could not due to the volume impediment, and suggested that they let their manager know that they lost revenue for that reason. The young man let me know that he was the manager and that he was following corporate policy. I suggested that he give corporate the feedback so they could make better business decisions. I only go in there now to get certain things, and we make a point to get in and out as fast as possible. I know I would spend way more money in there if they lowered the volume. There is absolutely no need to have it that loud. I shallenge corporate to blare the music over their PA system at that volume for 8 hours a day while they transact business and see if they can have meetings and discussions in their offices and conference rooms. Then perhaps they will understand that the store isn't a dance club. It is a place that adults need to negotiate in a pleasant environment, which has a serious impact on the company's bottom line.
