I just had a very rude customer service rep on the line with me, if this is your professional way of conducting business it really sucks. I have a question that i needed to talk to someone about and all i felt like was i got the run around. If someone has a professional enough sense about themselves and their business, e-mail me back with a phone number so we can talk. Thanks.(dungeonjim@msn.com)

worst service ever.... hate this place and will never go again. I also hate the smell inside. Headchaes should not come with your purchase.

Hate this place...... so much.

I love abercrombie its amazing yall!!! but its way too exspensive!!! Bitches

Please, stop spraying that terrible perfume in your stores. I almost threw up at the mall. It's terrible and gives oyu a headache. I stopped shopping at both Hollister & Abercrombie because I cannot stand the terrible odor. It's not natural to taste your store in my tonsils 3 hours afterwards. GROSS>

one star would imply that there was at least something done well. Not true. Wrote a bad review earlier about customer service, and then went back to read some of the above reviews. Seems to be a trend of poor service... The other thing I noticed were the comments about racism. How true! I recently shopped at a Hollister (same company as A&F) mall store in Aurora, Colorado. The mall is racially diverse, but a larger majority of Hispanic and African American people shop at this mall, and this was the case the afternoon I was there. I am a middle class white woman. When I went to check out I discovered that the line wrapped around the store with only one person at a register. I stood in a line that wasn't moving, but noticed numerous sales people standing around or folding at a back register. I had my daughter stand in line and went and suggested to the clerks folding that they had a huge line and they needed to get a manager to open another register. Within a few minutes a new register was opened. Sounds positive, right? But, when I got back to line a non-white woman told me she had tried the same thing, but had obviously been ignored since nothing had been done. This is wrong. A very wise friend who had great ups and downs but ultimately great success in his life once told me that he always believed that one should be good to everyone on their way up because one may need to say hello again on the way back down. A&F - you may be the big thing now, but people can only take so much...

okay so i work at the abercrombie kids store near home office. you all can stop talking crap at anytime. Idk where half of you have worked but where i work. everything is organized, we hold stuff for people, for like weeks. i mean my work place is one the most diverse places i'm in. just because you didn't get the job or something doesn't mean a&f is racists. it's probably because you're not right for the job. like calm down, you're going to get rejected. and to whoever is complaining that the managers call your kid and say they don't need them today. stop. because it's called being "on-call" which means, you might work or might not. usually it's during the weekdays. it depends on if it's busy for some odd reason or there's a lot of shipment or whatever. stop complaining. we're just like every other company plus most of the stores are made up of mainly teenagers. what do you expect? we're not saks fifth avenue.

I've been trying to get my check since april when I quit working there & still haven't received it....calling ohio board and they can get it situated if I don't get my check soon!

A and F is an absolute joke. I have been reading many reviews tonight after my horrible customer service experience this evening. I have concluded from my reading and my personal experience that a few things hold true. 1. their employees and managers are trained to be racist, judgemental, rude and aloof when dealing with customers. 2. they do not care how many of these reviews are written, because they make so much money it doesn't matter to them. 3. They are very sexually explicit in their advertising, stores, and even in the lines of clothes they make for young girls. 4. They pay out settlements to prospective employees and to others indiscriminately and refuse to follow the guidelines of the law (no discrimination) because they can afford to settle the lawsuits and still claim a large profit. 5. They are abusive to their employees and take advantage of young workers. A and F, you are deplorable. I hope that someday soon you have the joy of dealing with a large, business ending class action lawsuit against your firm for discrimination, racial profiling, and ethics violations. How can you (the upper management) sleep at night, when by day you are intentionally being morally and ethically unjust to so many people? Do you ever look in the mirror and ask yourself if the money you make is worth selling your soul? I have spent a massive amount of money in your stores for my children, and as sad as they will be, you wont recieve one more penny of my hard earned money. I will make sure to blast your company in every way possible, I will be filing reports to the bbb, Ohio state attorneys office, the ftc, and anyone else who will listen for 5 minutes. This all started from a bad customer service experience, but after reading the comments of your customers and employees, I have decided to make it my personal mission to destroy you by any means possible.

I want to share my experience with your A&F stores in the DC area. My daughter purchased a dress at the Dulles store on Friday afternoon. After bringing it home, we determined that the zipper was not functioning properly. She then called the store back to see if they had the same size so that she could exchange it. They did not and suggested that she call the other stores in the area. After calling 3 other stores (not once did an employee offer to check the local inventory for her), I called the Dulles store back. At that time, I spoke with the store manager, Molly, who was very helpful and found the dress at another store in MD, not far from where I live. I offered to pick up the dress at the store if they would hold it for the weekend. This afternoon, I drove to the Montgomery Mall store to pick it up. I was treated extremely condescendinly by the store manager, who refused to give his name. Instead of an even exchange, I was expectted to pay the difference in sales tax between the two states. The manager indicated that he had done me a favor by holding the dress and "it's only $0.44 - what's the problem." I expect better from stores in which I allow my daughter to shop. The attitude was appalling and rude.

So I started working for A&F a couple months ago, and my first day went great! I loved it and I was good with customers and my manager said he would give me 2 shifts a week which was all I wanted because I went to school full time. I give him my availability for the next 2 months and he said he will call me. 2 months went by and I haven't received a phone call, maybe I would've called him but I didn't because I didn't think he needed me to work. I go to hollister a few times the next month and my discount card works there. I go to a different a&f and buy something using my discount card the next week and the girl said it wasn't working because they took me out of the system!! I don't know if I got fired or not but that is wrong! I don't know what to do! I really liked the job but to just fire someone without even telling them, and for no reason that's wrong. Any ideas on what I should do??

I love your clothes, but could you stop make the label on the t shirts so thick the patch is horrible. make it thinner so it does not look like a hunch back and i am not the only one who thinks so

Wow, I am not sure where all these people live but at the Fashion Valley mall in San Diego, Abercrombie employees are amazingly nice! But i did order two shirts, a pair o skinny jeans and some shorts and they were supposed to come two days ago. I am kinda upset about that...

My daughter worked for Abercrombie & Fitch and I saw first hand how poorly they treat their employees. They sometimes cut hours by calling the employee the day they are supposed to work and telling them NOT to come in. THIS IS NOT RIGHT, after the employee has set aside that day to work and forgone other plans and or opportunities. Abercrombie also sends employees home if the district manager happens to stop by and see that they are not wearing all the current Abercrombie clothes, (even if the employee has repeatedly attempted to purchase the new line of clothes and Abercrombie does NOT have their size). Obviously it is the company's fault the employee is not wearing the new line). Abercrombie should either provide their employees with the clothes they want them to wear, or give it to them at their cost. Instead this company makes all their store employees constantly purchase new clothing, at only slightly reduced prices, throughout the year. It is sad that Abercrombie is so hard up and greedy that they have to make a ton of money off their own employees. Abercrombie is exploiting its young store employees and gives them a bad view of working, especially if it is their first job. I intend to spread the word on these exploiting, unfair labor practices Abercrombie is engaging in and will never buy another thing from this horrible company. SHAME ON YOU ABERCROMBIE!!!

I favor hollister over abercrombie because their tops are bigger (which is odd since they are geared for the younger) and their rises are lower. I would like a straight answer if the size 12 is discontinued. Other than the core denim their collections seem to cap off at 10. I can wear smaller but in some rare times I might just want a bigger one just to try if something seems too short

To Whom it May Concern, I received a E Mail offer to take "40% off any full priced item in stores or on line" with the promo code: 11904. As is usual the code was rejected upon check out. Normally I just do not place the order when that happens and move on. However, today I decided to take time out and call to find out why the code was rejected. After a long wait on hold, to speak to a Representative, a Mr. Mitchell answered and I explained the situation to him. First I was told by Mr. Mitchell, that the 40% off was already reflected in the price. I informed Mr. Mitchell that was not accurate because I have been following this particular item for some time, that being the Men's outerwear Newcomb Lake coat and that the $160.00 is the normal price on the item and that the 40% discount was not reflected. After being put on hold Mr. Mitchell verified my address and then gave me a price that was once again inaccurate. As it turned out he charged me tax. As you should know, no tax is collected for out of state residence. After I informed Mr. Mitchell of that fact he recalculated once again and gave me the correct price. My experience with this purchase was far less than tasteful. To Recap 1. The promotion code was once again rejected as seems to be the norm with A&F. 2. I was on hold for an extended period of time before I was able to speak to a Representative . 3. I was lied to regarding that the price being already reflected with the discount. 4. I was charged tax which was not suppose to happen. I plain to send a hard copy of this letter to the Abercromibie & Fitch corporate headquarters as well to the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs Departnment.

I AM A FORMER SUPERVISOR AND MANAGER OF THIS EGREGIOUS COMPANY, HANDS-ON AND WITH MY OWN EYES I HAVE SEEN THE B.S. THIS COMPANY EPITOMIZES. THE UPPER MANAGEMENT ARE THE REASON A&F HAS BEEN SLAPPED WITH MORE LAWSUITS FOR DISCRIMINATORY POLICIES (MORE SO THAN ANY OTHER RETAILER OF ITS KIND AND SIZE). THIS COMPANY WILL DIMINISH AND RIGHTFULLY SO. BOYCOTT A&F TIL ITS DEAD !!!!!!
