I ordered two tee shirts, a crew and a henley in a size large. I'm a 42 and couldn't even get them over my head. Asked for XXL and same thing happened.A&F should be better than this. They should take a size 42 and let him try the shirts on. Very disappointed.
need to bring your store to saudi Arabia, what are the requirements............thanks
i love abercrombie! ive been wearing them for as long as i could remember. everyone is so nice there! there was this one girl who helped me get everything i needed, (like 5 jeans in my perfect size, waited for me to come out of the changing room and asked if i had any questions and if i needed anything to come talk to her. i dont know why there are comments about rude employees!
I recently purchased a bunch of Hollister clothes with a sales rep on phone. The sales rep was retarded enter wrong address and result the package was returned. I called them up and they coundlt do anything about it. They can't resend and kept telling me that its been refunded back to my card, I DON"T CARE about the money, and they kept repeating that sir we have refunded you the money, I DONT CARE then charge again I want the clothes!!!!! So they have NO other numbers to call besides talking to the sales rep which is JUNK because they have no authorities to do anything and they can't help out any problems, the only thing the sales rep can do is taking orders. THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE AND FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!!! Because those items were on SALE so I can't reorder them, you see how retarded it is????
I bought a shirt at a and f and then went home to find that online they had marked it down to $14.00 (from $20.00) . I was very disappointed so I e-mailed them . They got back to me right away and told me that they couldn't give me the difference on a gift card (what I had asked them to do). This I was ok with ,but the thing that really made me mad was at the end of their note they said to check out their signature fragrance line. What is the point of that?? It was very impersonal and felt like they were just asking me to spend even more money for bad service. How hard would it be to give me six bucks? Or at least write a nice response. It was like a computer had wrote me that note. I can tell you that it does not make me want to spend more money. Appalling.
I just placed two orders with A&F but neither are showing up on my online account. I called the customer service so that they could link my order history to my account, but they said that it's not possible with their system. I was pretty astonished to say the least, with the size and profit margin of A&F not to be able to do such a minute task, i asked my question again, but in a different way, but got the same response. So I asked the CSR that if I was having trouble logging onto the website with my user name and password who would i talk to then, she responded by saying we would instruct you to create a new user name and password and you still would not be able to view your history. The only way to view your history is by your order number. That is very poor and i would like to track my history by my user account like with every other website, even the small mom and pop sorts. Very sad to say the least.
I brought my 2 children (daughter, age 11 and son, age 9) into the A&F children's store in Holyoke, MA before school started. One of the male workers actually tossed the football back and forth with my son while my daughter & I shopped. My son had a great time and it kept him busy while we shopped. He actually didnt want to leave. He also answered any questions I had and helped me match up a few things for my daughter. Great experience. This is the only place that makes jeans that actually fit my very skinny daughter comfortably. Will continue to shop there!
im one angry former employee of the "abercombie&fitch factory brand co." This company sucks, i will never work for them again, and i would never recomend them for a place of employment to anyone..the people i worked with were amazing but the company its self is a horrble corporation.I was told i was a great employee and was offered employment anytime i was in need of a job. so why is it that i havent been paid for 2weeks and they cant couldnt get my adress correct for my W-2s? You would think they would be on top of things for any employee right? SCREW A&F
On Thursday Feb.16, 2012 I shopped at your store and the service was horrible. The sales rep. had a bad attitude. She saw me standing on line waiting to pay and she just walked away without saying anything. When she came back she had an attitude toward me. When she finally acknowledges me I asked her about the price on a few of the items I had grabbed from the clearance section, which did not have a price tag on them. Her reply to me was a grunt and she angrily walk over to the clearance rack and said "can't you see that the right side is clearance only". At this point I was just stunned. She told me the prize and a second later she said "do you want it or not?", to make matters worse after I made my purchase your she just threw the item on the counter and walked away. I was very disappointed with the service and for the way I was treated at your store, needless to say that was the first and last time I shop at any of your stores.
My kids shop here and I bought a sweater that looked very well made. Unfortunately the zipper disintegrated after 3 washings. If you need a response for an item that fell apart, good luck.
Poor on customer service. I purchased quite a few clothes for my grandson for Christmas. He lost the receipt and they would not even exchange the clothes without the receipt. I went to there web site and found my purchase which included what I bought, what I paid with discounts, however they would NOT exchange without the ORIGINAL receipt. What kind of store gives this kind of service???????
I am disgusted with A&F!!!!!!!!! If my granddaughter hadn't asked for a gift card for her birthday I would never have gone to the site AND I NEVER WILL AGAIN!!!!!!! The service was not only horrible; it took an hour or more and phone calls to stores, emails that didn't work, JUVENILES THAT ANSWERED PHONES AND HAD NO MANNERS AND NO IDEA WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT...all I wanted was an emailed gift card to be sent on her birthday. That was 3 weekes ago. Yesterday I RECEIVED HER GIFT CARD IN MY MAIL BOX!!!!!!!!!!! I'd like to use foul language but this is probably not acceptable on this site! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!
I used to LOVE Abercrombie, but over the last few years their clothes are being made so cheap, the quality has obviously gone way down, and just about every piece of clothing is made in china. I am so disappointed about all of the "made in china" clothes and I WILL NOT buy anything from abercrombie and fitch as long as they chose to have their clothes made in china.
I shop at Hollister and it isnt so bad. The 'greeters' are kind and friendly. The music is kinda loud but i still can hear. Everything feels and smells great and the lights are dark but appropriate to see anything. The only thing bad is that the cashier ppl always throw the bag in our face (or at us) instead of handing it to us. That happened at a crowded hollister but at another day was the same treatment withNO ONE THERE. Its a lil awkward and rude.. ): Jeans feel great+looks btw. I've been to abercrombie and expect the same thing in black in white. I havent got anything there (i only shop for their jeans), but am planning to, the next sale.~ So really, it's alright. From what others say, be polite and respectful to them and expect the same. (for ex, my mom asked where to find jeans sizes, and the girl was so nice to answer and help with anything else). Try and avoid, also. x] :] yahh
I took my daughter to a store in myrtle beach, nc. However, I have visited another store in Charlotte, nc. These store pictures that are like porn on the walls in the front of the store near the register. I told my daughter that I will not support this filth. There needs to be some type of law against this!
I'm an 18 year old college student and have been shopping at Abercrombie since I can remember. As I get older I realize you are losing touch with young people, I've thought of many ideas how your company could make more money and appeal to all ages. The funny thing is your company hasn't thought of these things yet. You're slowly losing money and customers...
I agree 100% with what everyone has said about Hollister discontinueing their bootcut jean line. Those are the only jeans that I wear that fit me being a tall and skinny male 5'11'' 130lbs. I was shocked to see that they weren't selling bootcut jeans around Christmas time, when I asked a employee about it she told me that they were out of stock and that they would have another shippment coming in in a couple of weeks. Of course it wasn't till I did a little research of my own that I found out that they are discontinueing this line of jeans. Being a businessman myself, I can honestly that this will be their worst business mistake (besides rude employees), customer service will Make or Break a business. We will see if A&F's other clothing lines can pick-up the difference that Hollister is going to lose. I don't know why in a time of a recession you would discontinue something that is obviously selling and customers are upset over. WTF
I just discovered your slim bootcut jeans this year and have bought three pairs, to have just learned that you're not selling boot cut any more. Why? you will never see me or any one I know wearing these ridiculous skinny jeans, bring back the bootcut or I guess I'll go back to levis or american eagle.
Just learned today Jan. 17 that the store in Huntsville, AL is closing. Four weeks ago I purchased a $100 giftcard. I think at some point you should stop selling giftcards, when you know the store is closing. Now, we have less than 2 weeks to use it. I realize it can be used on the website however my daughter is very thin and has to try everything on. When I called to verify the store is closing, the young sales associate was rude. There has not been much, if any publicity, my husband just happended to go in there to swap a pair of jeans my daughter got for Christmas. This is when we learned of the closing.
Abercrombie is by far the WORST company to deal with. I made numerous online purchases 2 months ago...returned the merchandise that I didnt want....AND I am STILL waiting for a refund. Every time I call in, they say they are still processing the refund...whats to process??? You got your merchandise back....NOW GIVE ME MY MONEY! I would NEVER deal with Abercrombie again...........customer service is nothing short of crap!
