The wendy's off of Savory Dr. In Chamblee GA, is a fair rating, giving them that. But when it come to customer service, that was another matter. Just because I step out of the restaurant with my ice tea almost finish and forgot to ask for a refill, dosen't constitute that I'm deny a refill. It was unbelieveable that she(wendy's employee) tells me that refill are not allowed once you step outside the restaurant even though she saw me eating inside. What the hell Wendy!!!!! It was only ICE TEA!!!
The Wendy's on Causeway in Metairie should not be considered fast food and everyone should be fired. After waiting 10 minutes to place an order because the girls were to busy talking about their baby mama drama, i finally ordered. It took a total 12 minutes to make a hamburger and drink. Keep in mind there was no one else in line. To all the workers if you don't like your job find another one don't take it out on the people that are paying your salaries. I have called corp. and am awaiting a call back to find out the owner of this location. I will drive the extra 5 miles to their competition and get my food there.
My 17 year old went to Wendy's on Gender Road in Canal Winchester. First of all whoever said the customer is always right is wrong! I found this true after my daughter ordered her meal and was over charged and when she looked in her bag to look over the receipt discovered the cashier didnt give her a receipt. She immediately called back and the MANAGER, said she would refund her a dollar! She said well just credit me for my entire order. The MANAGER told her to bring the food back to get the refund. I end up taking it back and the MANAGER argued with me like everything was my fault! She said, it's not a big deal the cashier forgot to give the recipe it happens all the time, everyone makes mistakes. As I explained this is true and i agree but this was an inconvenience to drive back to Canal Winchester from where I live a 20 minute drive. I was upset she never offered anything in exchange for this inconvenience which is ok but i was at least expecting an apology and received nothing but a word for word argument with her. I was so discouraged until I vowed I will NEVER eat at Wendy's again. Over 25 years ago the same happen with me and Shell gas station and to date I have never been to another Shell station. This was so discouraging and upsetting and she yelled at me and continued to make fun of me by saying, "you have a nice day" as i stormed out of the location.
I work for,wendys on freshpond rd in queens,ny and my manager is,mistreating me and always yelling at me .and todat I got sick of it and quit.its a shame becuase I was,realy great at my job, and always did what I was told.i am a quick learner and everyone else,that I,worked,with never ever had a problem with me ,they new and told ne I,am a,very good,worker.when I told,my manager that im quiting he told,me why and I told him becuase you are,always yelling at me and even your boss told,you to stop becuase he had many complaints already.any way he told me I,cant leave unless,i,gave him my card that I,recieve my pay on,then I,can leave but I tild,him how,am I,going to get paid he said,not my problem and walked away ,i started to,cry vecuase I, am a sensitive person.so I left and I was,waiting for the bus in tears .i realy love my job and I would like to keep it.is there anything I can do ,please help
I just visited the Lambertville Michigan location on April 12, 2012 at aprox. 9:45 pm. After ordering two number 2's with cheese and no onions we pulled up to the window to pay and was asked to pull forward because the meat was not done yet. There were no cars behind me, I mentioned since there were no cars behind me why would I need to pull forward. The comment was that her manager asked her to ask me to do that. I proceeded to pull forward sitll no cars behind me, waited for a few miniutes and then our order was delivered. We were given our beverages at the window...no ice... so needless to say the pop was warm. We started to eat the french fries on the way home I might add they were cold and most of them overdone and crunchy. Once we arrived home we started on the burgers...Both had onion on them which I asked not to have and it was the worst hamburger I have ever had from Wendys. It will be a long time before I ever go back to Wendys!!!!
Repeatedly We have tried contacting Corporate HQ with a complaint about one of your stores and have sent e-mails and talked with a "manager" on the phone. Now after my bit of research-I find I am not the only one dissatisfied or with complaints about Wendy's service food preparation or response to "poor" surveys. It seems alsost nation wide since Dave Thomas passed away that service, cleanliness and quality of food had gone with Dave. Reading the complains above I KNOW corporate doesn't want to hear about it and that is why you can't send an e-mail directly to Corporate HQ. They just don't care as long as the money keeps coming in and their paychecks are there for them. Noting the complaints on this page it seems anyway that the service and quality and cleanliness of staff and establishment are a thing of the past. Signs of employees must wash hands are worth the signs they are posted on and dirty floors and tables are the norm rather then the exception. Today we received 4 free combo meal tickets wrapped in a blank sheet of paper for our complaint on the last Wendy's visited on March 19, 2012 and I see most of the complaints above are recent also. Maybe Wendy's went along with "MARCH MADNESS" and just quit responding to their customers complaints. I for one don't give a damn whether Wendy's folds up and closes there doors--they won't get another dollar out of my wallet.
hey just to let you know auby presnell the co manger is stilling money and jack hockamer the shift manger are stilling money some times out of the safe and some times they will act like they ring up order and after close they take out the over amount the she said the new gm was gone to fix the money in the safe she has been doing this for 2 yrs and its the erwin and elizabethton stores shes the one that showed jack how to do it and they also drink and smoke weed out at the dumpsters i just wanted to let you know so that you can be aware of what is happening on the store properties you can check the cameras at the store across the street to see them going to the dumpsters you can go back and check paper work about the money
I ordered a single combo meal,which came with fries and a small drink.I also added a 5 piece chicken nuggets with BBQ dipping sauce and a mustard dipping sauce.The nuggets were very good,like they were when I last ate them about 1-2 years ago.The fries were too salty but not that bad that I did not eat them.The sweet tea was good.However,the main coarse of my lunch-the single hamburger was terrible.There was too much mayo/ketchup/mustard-I really could not tell what it was.I ended up sick to my stomach for about 2 hours after I ate it and wanted to call back to complain to the manager,who by the way was very rude.My experience was so bad that I will never eat at another wendys in the St.Petersburg,Fl.area.I ate at the other wendys that is within the 3 mile radius of my home about 4 months ago and got horrible service,the clerk tried short changing me from the $20.00 dollar bill I gave her,I could not get a reciept,and my food was horrible.I am going to try to call wendys corporate headquarters to talk to someone abot these 2 wendys in this area and how they're operated and staffed.Hopefully I can get some answers to these issues.
I also if possible would like to give a 0 star rating I was at the wendys on battleground Ave. in Greensboro NC the one in the same parking lot as the Golds Gym and Big Lots. March 23 2012 around 2:00 p.m A friend my one in a half year old daughter and myself decided we wanted a burger for lunch so we headed to this particular wendy's location . After arrival at the drive through we decided on 3 Jr Bacon Cheese burger combo's one with NO mayo and one chz burger childrens meal. The 3rd combo was going to be taken to my friends sister at work right down the street. As we approached the 2nd window we asked politly for Ketchup as the woman NEVER responded to our question she shut the window handed us our food and shut the window again! Now I as a person have worked in many restraunts and I know what customer service is all about. We pulled off thinking maybe she had a bad day and checked our food. We were missing 3 Frys and didnt have any straws in the bag...the ketchup was there although the woman never acknowledged us. I started to check the burgers because I myself do not like mayo ....after checking there were 4 burgers one childs chz burger and 2 jr bacon burgers one burger with no bacon. I decide to go back in and get our corrected order...as i approach the counter and explain with receipt in hand (everything correct on the receipt) the Manager Argues with me and tells me that my childs burger must have had the bacon on it (although im showing her everything in my bag) With a attitutde she ask's for my burger and says " Can I get a Jr bacon with BACON actually on it??" Finally she throws all my things in the bag and tells me "are you happy now"? I leave obviously mad but still tell her to have a nice day....get to my friends work and there is mayo on my burger that the manager just made me .....I call and ask to speak to a General Manager and the Manager tells me they are not there...I ask when is the next time they will be there and available to talk to me and im told with a attitude that if there is nothing they can help me with than I cant be told the GM's schedule. I tell the woman I dont want there schedule I just want a time I can speak with them and get hung up on!!!!
Can I possibly give a 0 star? I was at the Wendy's on Hull Street in Richmond VA last night. The girl with the brighly colored hair was working the drive thru and apparently the kitchen too. I ordered chicken nuggets and I watched her as she went over and picked them up one by one with her fingers and put them into the container. Seriously? After she had touched the register, the money, the cups and God knows what else. I filed a complaint in writing that night and then the district manager called me at home. He was of no use. He tried to tell me that he has a new management team there and I told him he needs to have his manager check his employees because that was just nasty and disgusting. He offered me coupons however, I told him thanks but no thanks. I am FOREVER done with Wendys. There are way too many other places to eat. I also complained about a manger I saw outside smoking then went straight inside and started handling food. NO Hand Washing AT ALL! He also had huge sweat stains under his arms on the blue shirt. Just disgusting. Who wants to eat after seeing that. Good food, bad bad bad service.
I stopped at Wendy's located at 7085 Okeechobee Rd Fort Pierce, Fl between 830pm-9pm. I ordered 10 spicy chicken nuggets and fries with no salt. The nuggets were for my friend and they were burnt. I asked the cashier for new nuggets and the cook snatched the nuggets rudely and slammed them into the trash. Then I looked at the fries and they had salt on them. I gave the fries to the cashier and he told the cook I said no salt. Without even looking at the fries the cook said "ain't no salt on them fries". The cashier turned around and handed me the bag saying there's no salt on them. I opened the bag and pointed out all the grains of salt to the cashier. The cashier said its gonna be about 4 minutes for the fries. I said ok. The cashier asked the manager should he give me something for waiting. Not that I was expecting anything anyway, the drive thru girl rudely said NO! and the manager said nothing. While I was waiting the drive thru girl and the cook with tattoos all over his neck were continuously walking pass the front counter giving me mean looks that made me uncomfortable. Finally, I got my food and told the cashier that I wanted to speak to the manager. I saw the cashier tell the manager that I wanted to speak to him. It was another 10 minutes before the manager came over to me. He didn't say one word he just took this imtimidating stance with his arms folded across his chest and his right hand over his mouth like he didn't care if I, the customer was satisfied or not. I told him that I was treated rudely by his staff for simply askig for no salt on my fries. He(manager) said ok. I told him that I dont know if he is suppose to run his shift like this but its unsatisfactory. He said nothing. I told him to look at my ankles that's why I dont eat salt. Again, he said nothing. I told him that I was going to tell everyone that I knew who travels this highway not to patronize this establishment to just go down the street to Mcdonalds. I also told him that I was going to call his corporate office to inform them of how badly I was treated. He stood there still trying to intimidate me with his stance, the look on his face, rudely said ok and walked away from me. This was thw worst expierence ever!! I called the corporate office and was told smeone would call me. I'm still waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wendy's used to be my favorite fast food restaurant of all. Since Dave Thomas died, the chain has gone downhill considerably. I don't understand it, they used to be so good. My favorite order was the regular homestyle chicken sandwiche with fries and a Coke. I gave up on it because I found I had to beg to get tomato and lettuce on it. Despite it being a five dollar sandwiche, the local stores deliver it with a tiny leaf of iceberg lettuce and no tomato and the chicken patty is sometimes the 99 cent version. There is often a sign at the drive through saying tomato is not available because the harvest was bad. Wendy's original fries were delicious as long as they were hot and fresh. The new fries are almost as good as the old but likewise, once cold they are terrible. Changing the fries didn't do anything as the problem was hot and fresh delivery. Now the burgers are going bad. They are full of so much grease the bread is dripping with fat. I just can't stand it and haven't gone back to Wendy's in months. Wendy's food is nasty, over-priced, poorly cooked, and inconsistent quality. The chicken sandwiche I usually order is a premium sandwiche but instead I've been served the 99 cent versions and been told by the counter help, "There's no difference." Why then am I paying five dollars? Why do I have to beg for tomatos? Why has the once best restaurant in the USA become worse than a greasy spoon?
This is my first letter of complaint ever to any food service supplier. I am a frequent traveler via auto to and from Brooklyn, NY and Hallandale Beach, FL. On no less than 6 times l have frequented your Wendy's location at 1 Old Kings Rd N Palm Coast, FL 32137. With each passing visit the service deteriorates further. My last encounter was on March 5, 2012 at 1:51:46 PM. Ticket # 61.Cashiers name was Kristyn S. Not only did l have to repeat my entire order 5 or 6 times because she was engaged in conversations and laughter with other employees in the rear of the store but the end result was an incorrect order. The girl did not have a clue. She was the only girl at the counter even though there was several people on line behind me waiting and mumbling and grumbling about the long wait. I observed at least 5 or 6 other employees in the rear of the store milling about without the slightest care of the waiting customers. No one seemed to be accomplishing any mission. Do your stores not have managers?? If so fire this one and re educate Kristyn S as how to properly preform her duties as a cashier and more importantly as a representative of Wendy's. I am writing about Wendys in general. I almost always order the same sandwich and I always so no cheese. It does not matter what you order the order is never correct. You either have food missing or the wrong food is in the bag they throw at you through the window. Today was the last straw I told the lady NO Cheese and I got two slices of cheese.
I am very disappointed in the way WENDY'S GM - RENEE at the Apex NC -Shepherds Vineyard at Lake Pine treats her employees. My son works there and would come home with these stories of this "Renee" person.-I never believed what he was telling me about how she treated her employees, aside from himself- WOW, after all those months of listening, I experienced this rude, heartless, ill-tempered person. There is nothing kind or pleasant about this women. How the hell does someone like that get a job working with the public, and what is she doing there still? I am shocked that Wendy's as a Corporation would have someone like that representing them. My son called in sick - due to an adverse side effect to a new medication. She basically told him he needed a dr note. I understand that. But, she wanted one for when he returned to work, which would be a Sunday. Well, dr offices are not open on Saturday/Sunday unless you go to urgent care, which is a high fee. We knew he had a chance of having side effects, and it would be a few days for his body to adjust. I called up RENEE to inform her that I am more than happy to have a note on MONDAY for her, and I will personally deliver it. She was rude, loud, and obnoxious,and screamed at me that my son was a liar, and yelled at the fact that he called in sick one day last week - HELLO, why do you think he's out sick? She really did not care, but spoke to me like I was a piece of garbage on the floor. I wonder how she treats her customers? From what I hear, the same way. I am appalled by my treatment, and the threats she relaid to me, that my son is not going to get any hours if I don't come up with a doctor note. What the hell is that? WOW, I never in my life would ever ever think of speaking to anyone like that, yet alone a parent. WOW. Well, I have a doctor note for her, and frankly, I never want my son to walk into that Wendy's again and work for that demonic woman. I can't believe he has had to put up with that for the last 6 months. I am sure Wendy's will do nothing about this women, as I hear its nothing new. And I thought Wendy's cared about their people. WOW, is all I have to say. I will probably never eat at Wendy's again, as it has left a very bad taste in my mouth.
Im writing you to make you aware of the type of services your store on mason road betweeen highland knolls and northmoor is giving their loyal paying customers. First of all they cant get an order right. Upon my visit tonight they forgot my childs food. I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant after getting home to find out they did not put his food in the bag. Instead of apologizing they were rude and made it seem as if I was only trying to get free food. Which is ridiculous because why would someone BUY over $20 worth of food in order to get free chicken nuggets? They finally gave me the missing nuggets after two employees (including the manager) hasseled me. Finally I get home to cold food. I find a piece of paper in my spicy chicken sandwich. The paper was the type of paper that is used to seperate the cheese slices. Which should have been REMOVED not PUT INTO MY SANDWICH. So I called the restaurant where I get hung up on. The manager on duty REFUSED to give me a number/email to corporate. She gave me instead a number that I believe is some womans personal phone number instead. (732-256-8289) I have never had such a horrible experience and I truly believe u will get a law suit pretty soon for putting foreign objects into food!
I am writing to complain about the Wendys in Austin Tx Off Parmer & 183 location. They have horrible service and this is the last straw and finally saying something. My order always has food missing... They try to charge you extra and pocket the rest of your money... This time I have proof that they have been over charging us customers... And they workers there seem like they do not know what they are doing.. Like last night for instance.. I witnessed one of the workers yelling at the guy saying "see i told you you keep messing up on peoples stuf.." very rudly.. I will not be returning to a horrible place who tries to steal our money
I hate when i go to Wendy's in Martins Ferry but i live here in town because they do'nt every get your order right i ask for a vale meal and sometimes chill and i get the chill and i do'nt get fries i work at fast food restaraunt and i never head anything like that before when you order a vale meal it comes with fries and a drink you do'nt sub. it with something eles .
My family and I wanted to get a quick bite to eat before going on a long car ride; we stopped at the Wendy's located outside the Franklin Mills Mall in Philadelphia, Pa. It was the worst consumer service I have ever experienced. They took our order which was 5 junior bacon cheese burgers and 5 fries. We waited exactly 7 minutes to get our food which the order was wrong the burgers were under cooked the fries were cold! They were rude and did even care enough to apologize! Wendy's will not get another dime from my family or I. And I will be passing this information on to all my family and friends; Wendy's will be getting boycotted!
Wendys in Aberdeen, Ms is very unprofessional. I worked there for two yes and about a month ago I went back and applied for a job there again. I got an interview about three days after filling out the application. No one ever called me to tell me if I got the job or not. Today 5/9/2012 I checked my email and found out that I had gotten the job on 4/14 and was suppose to start on 4/18. If they were serious about their hiring process or anybody for that matter they would have picked up the phone and called me and told me I got the job. This is beyond unacceptable. As hard as it is to get a job these days people are missing out on opportunities because of miscommunication and people just not caring. The managers at this store are very rude and could care less about the quality of their performance. The employees there are great but the management is beyond horrible. I have read alot of other complaints from other people and it seems that Wendys is not up to par and that if they don't get it together their going to go out of business.
