I am a police officer in Columbia SC and I eat at Waffle House all of the time. However, I had a VERY unpleasant visit at the new location on Harden St. in Columbia and I will NEVER eat there or any other Waffle House again. If you value your hard earned dollar do not spend it at any Waffle House location.

To whom it may concern; I noticed too many times at Waffle House# 1453 at 10009 Dorchester Road,Summerville,South Carolina that your cooks do not ware gloves while cooking and they handle the food with their bare hands.To me that is not very clean way of cooking.I beleave they need some kind of training. I just left waffle house In Richmond, Kentucky at midnight. There has always been small errord, but I love it so much I continue to go back. When I got there, the cook was preparing his lunch which was triple order of hashbrowns, steak burrito, and a pork chop. Looked like he was feeding some munchies. He ignored me when I entered the building only focusing on his food. He finally acknowledged me and took my order while he reminded me that his food may burn as if I was an inconvienance. He did not even start my food! He finished his first to call someone to start my order. He took his order to the table, started toe at, then supervised the lady cooking my order, rubbed all the girls backs, touched some dirty dishes and then touched my toast on my plate! I told him to throw my toast away and wash his hands! I will be calling the corporate office in the morning because this restaurant is very poor when it comes to hygiene. Workers always wiping hands on their dirty aprons before touching food, hair in food, handling money then food without washing hands, always charging too much for tip when ordering food to go. There are many more violations I have noticed, but will stop here so I will not get carpal tunnel. Any time that these things have occured, I have always demanded better service. I hate wanting waffle house and dreading going there because I know I am going to have to correct them for something. The health department needs to step in. The nickname for waffle house here is salmonilla surprise! I mean by others who stopped going there!

i went to eat at waffle house and waitress wasted a drink on me and my friend right in our lap asked the manager for some kind of discount he said no the drink went on my phone every where the service was terrible

I visited the waffle in Montgomery Alabama on Chantilly road. They were pretty crowded but there was one seat available at the bar. As I was sitting, there was a gentleman next to me breathing hard as though he had been waiting for a long time. As I was placing my order this gentleman was sending back a glass of orange juice because there was something black in the juice. Soon after that I asked him if he had been waiting long, he replied YES I have. He also said my food is just sitting on the counter and it has been sitting there for quite a while. The waitress brought him another glass of juice and quickly turned away without even looking at him. He had to stop another waitress to request his food, she gaved him the pork chops only. His chops were not cooked well and it also had hair on both of them. He sent them back also, the waitress seemed very annoyed with him. He asked the lady that was washing glasses to please pass him the rest of his food, she did; but it had also been sitting on the counter with the pork chops. The raisin toast he order was not toasted at all, the grits and eggs were cold. He expressed that he was very disappointed with the service and the food. After witnessing this I cancelled my order and decided to go to cracker barrel. I will not be visiting waffle house establishments anymore, and if this continues i am sure business will be decreasing because i was not the only customer who noticed and heard the gentleman and noticed the waitress showing that she was annoyed. I am sure you agree that when you are looking forward to going out to eat you expect good service and good food, there are too many other food establishments to visit that one can get what they pay for so why would anyone re-visit one that is not satisfying the customers?

From a current employee. No one should have to work in the conditions placed before them. I work with a bunch of drug addicts and alcoholics. I am a SERVER get paid a shitty 2.13/hour and still COOK my own orders because cooks disapear outside. I work third, and see many come. District manager has a really bad issue in the 757 and bad habbit about paying the workers correctly. She owes most of the servers 400+ in tip credit. We had a recent pest problem but regional manager chose to ignore it refusing to shut down until we got on the news. Punished employees and took hours away because of their stupidity and neglect. Waffle House has to be one of the worst places to work in America.

I have been to many waffle houses to eat and the food is pretty good but the place is so nasty! Tables and menus are sticky, dirty untensils and not to mention the grimey looking servers! And every single one i have been to seems to have a major problem with flies! Please do something about this because i like the food but the cleanliness of the place sucks!

I have not been to a waffle house that was so sorry in my life. me and my wife eat at waffle here was no chili because they claimed that they forgot to order it. then the waitress could not get the order right. the manager had an attitude also. so if you areever in cherokee n.c do not go to waffle houise unless you want poor service and an attitude.

Visited Waffle House in Hopkinville, Kentucky on Ft. Campbell Blvd. Terrible experience. Visited this establishment on September 24 at about 6:30 AM. Waitress doesn't know if you offer Senior Discount and wouldn't know how to do it if you did. Bill was $12.49. Gave the waitress a $20.00 bill and she gave me back $8.01. She said that was what the register said. Waitress doesn't know how to give change. Thank you Waffle House for the additional 50 cents charge. I wouldn't eat at this establishment again for anything. If I could have given 0 stars, I would have.

The waffle. House downtown is loaded with homeless people who are not buying nothing I couldn't. Even find a seat downtown Atl by 5 points and the underground

We go to the waffle house hwy 13 and I69 in Pendleton Indiana. I cannot believe how poor of service and the lack of attention to the store. We have visited numerous times and there is never hand soap in the bathrooms. I have had to ask every-time for soap the is ridiculous. The floors are not clean or the booths. The tables are clean but everything is pushed on to the seats. The servers have the I can careless attitude.

I love the Waffle House on Pemberton its a great place to eat at .i enjoyed the cook she was so sweet her name was Roymeisha and i also love the cook Dee. he was really tall but nice.i like that alot and i would go back any day.

The food is great. The care and concern of employees not so great. My car was parked at the front of the restaurant at 7:30/8:00, dusk but not dark. I came outside to find my car window smashed out and my car burglarized. One of the employees said, "Oh, that's what I heard when I was outside smoking. If she was outside smoking she must have seen something because my car was parked right there along the front window. When the police officer was standing there talking to me she walked right past, got into her car and left without a word. It makes me wonder if it wasn't an inside job.

store manager needs to hire people that dont go around starting rumors about people some of your employes are going around saying a certain person comes in all the time looking nasty if this doesnt stop i will sue the hell out of waffffle house i know of one person i spend alot of money there and dont appreciate things runors about me and its the richland ms store deal with it or i will

this is in regards to your store at 21st post in indianapolis,in.a few weeks ago my family and i visited your store at 11:30 on a saturday night.your cook i think her name was real rude to my 17yr old daughter and refused to recook our order.she went outside and began smoking pot with her friends so we reported this to a sherriff across the street and he said he would look into it.my daughter has also told me this tequila woman has sold her pot and this is bad for bussiness.these matters need to be resolved immediately or you will lose alot of customers.thank you

This store has a terrible management problem! Food goes out half cooked, there is no team spirit because some of the waitresses can say and do what they want due to the fact that they are in the click (close personal friends)with store management and just plain no management skills at all of managers. The store manager promotes the nightclub that she owns and even tells employees they better be there. Employees have even been hours late coming (if they come in at all)in to work reeking of alcohol and allowed to work. All they staff does is complain, complain, complain. Non employees in the back management areas, handling Waffle House money running it in and out of the store. You need to have an investigator visit this store anonymously (not a local investigator) and see the shenanigans that go on here. This is by no means all the issues but all that I care to comment about at this time. This is the worst Waffle House that I have ever attended and by far worst restaurant.

Greer SC hwy 14 waffle house behind spinx. Never eat there ! My husband and I are regulars however, tonight when I went to get some ketchup th bottle was heavy but nothing would come out. So, I took off th lid and some sort of tobacco pouch came outta of it. Not to mention th only person with any sense was the cook. CS sucked wanted me to point to the menu wat to wanted like she couldn't read. Then when I have them call the manager he blamed th company the ketchup came from saying his employees could not physical take th lid off , however I did....

I recently visited the Wafflehouse in Blacksburg SC and I sat and ate....was a little confused as to why all three of the sales people were having to cook all of their own orders and wait on their customers at the sametime.... Do the salespeoples get paid minimum wage when they have to do this? If not they should because they are having to neglect their customers while they are doing the cooks job!!!! Wow I just left the waffle house on 87 in Milton fl and I can't believe how the two waitresses were acting playing music from there phones loud lyrics being I'm horny lets do it riding my pony dancing provocutive talking about a couple having sex and details talking about strippers and a few other things to go along with that subjeect.... and aorta much more I will be calling corporate when they open and I will speaking to the manager when he is there. Very unfrofessional and I will not be going back.

Waffle House Rt.45 Austinburg,Ohio. Is DIRTY!! floors tables,chairs,booths that you stick too.Why the board of health has not closed this place. Poor service. Over all it's filthy!!
