Went to the store in Fuquay Varina, NC on Sunday. Two orders wrong. Got toast instead of biscuits for two of us, and grits instead of hash browns for one. Did us a favor on the toast - the biscuits were terrible. Not very busy at the time, so, there shouldn't have been any confusion. Noticed the prices are up...quality down. Won't be going back to our own home WH. Bojangles knows what they are doing at least half the time, and there are other options without paying restaurant prices for fast food fare.

I ate at the waffle house in clanton alabama and while I was eat I found a hair in my food our waitress took forever and by the way never gave us refills and i asked her could I speak to a manager and she told told me there wasn't one on duty and they didn't ask me if I wanted a refund they just gave me a 20% discount this is not right at all I wanna speak to a manager as soon as possible

The waffel house in Wahington PA near JC Penneys is awful. We had to wait 1hour and 30minutes. For all of our food to arrive. The eggs were all runny. We all got 1 piece of our meal at a time. My friend ordered steak and eggs but 30 minutes after he ate his eggs they brought him out his bloody steak. They had 1 cook and 1 server. The following day we were all sick. Very unclean place. Please don't take your family here. People were walking out after 30 minutes of not even getting their drinks.

I visited the waffle house on 3304 dickerson rd nashville tn. i felt that i had walked into a whore house instead of the waffle house. i sat down in a booth and a server got my drink and took my order. then a man walked in door and sat down. then my server was all over this man kissing and hugging him. i got my food and my server never returned to my table because later i went to enter the bathroom server and that man was in the bathroom having oral sex.they had forgot to lock the door! i returned out into dining room to pay my bill and asked the person ringing up my ticket her name and they said her name was terrie. she was very nasty she was dugging a her head because she had lice. you could see it crawling in her head. the funny part was she had no teeth and trying to chew gum. which made her glasses bounce every where on her face. i know thats a bad part of town but please leave the whores outside where they belong in nashville.i will never go to that whore house again lol i mean waffle house!

i am a reg. at the orangebeach wafflehouse and need to say most of the workers are good people,but wafflehouse as a whole need to train all levels of managment to not override each other,they keep hiring people back who have quit or been fired..they just hired a guy back who has been fired for callin a female worker a racest name,walkin out, and obsene gestures and grabs toward female workers..please change your rules for hiring..and get rid of this guy..his name is steven (not the manager ) the other one..this will go untouchedd but thanks anyway

we are the empolyees of unit 835 . Montgomery. Ala. We work hard for the waffle house . But please tell me why with all the money waffle house has . Why on earth have we been working like true slaves for more than a month now with no air . Because if you dont come to work you wont have ajob . Come on waffle house spend a dollar on us.

I use to work at the WH on highway 80, phenix city. I can't even begin to explain all the problems. Let's start with the bugs, EVERYWHERE..crawling on the floor, counter tops, ceiling , all over the food..One time I saw a roach in the ham, the cook said he wasn't throwing it out because of food cost. True story. The servers every single one of them has chronic halotosis, I know I was the only one to actually show up on time. And my shift was the only shift that did all it's sidework. The mangers didn't even care that the other girls did't do their work. I was basically told to come in early to make sure the work was done!!! Yeah, needless to say I quit. I have been waiting on what I derserve, my whole paycheck, for the last 3 weeks...So today is the last day, I am going to call up their, I have a feeling once again I am going to be told I have nothing there. And then it's off to the better business beura and the health departmeant. I busted my ass for that nasty place and I will get whats mine!! SO if you want good food, DONT EAT AT THE WH!!!! ESPECIALLY THE ONE ON 80!!!! NOthing but roaches and maggots everywhere!!!

My family and i just ate at the Taylorsville, IN, location as we were driving through IN. Horrible! Flies everywhere! Burnt food and rude staff. We look forward to Waffle Houses on our road trips - noooot anymore. I will report the insect issue to the IN Board of Health since flies carry disease - this place is a health hazard. From the reviews that are above mine it seems that Waffle House needs to step up their game - a lot.

First of all, the ONLY reason they got a 1 star rating from me is because there wasn't a place for a ZERO rating! Next, it's pretty sad that this site is mainly to share your thoughts (a.k.a. complaints) about Waffle House, it says this site is not affiliated with them in any way, it is just to supply you with their phone number/address so I guess they aren't getting any of these messages unless they just feel like going on here to read them but I will share our horror story as well anyway... My husband and I went to "awful house" around 1:30AM the other night. There was one car in the parking lot, nobody in the restaurant except for one server and she seemed very "zoned out." The whole restaurant smelled like paint, or maybe it was paint thinner, not sure. Anyway she comes up to the table and asks what we would like to drink. Well I was just getting over a cold and still had the lingering cough (which the paint smell was NOT helping) he ordered a sweet tea no lemon, i asked for a hot tea with lemon and some honey if they had it. First thing she says is "ok, a sweet tea and another sweet tea? Um...NO-- told her one more time. She goes off and brings the drinks back, got his right, came back with mine already fixed-- tea bag in the cup, paper thin lemon rings in the cup (lol) and brings a spoon to stir it with. Well she realizes there is already a spoon with the silverware and she is confused as to what to do with it-- she stands there for a minute, then leaves it at the table. I mention the honey again and we ask about the strong smell in there. She says "well i'm not sure if it's paint thinner or paint or what" (??) Then she proceeds to tell us that she isn't sure where the other cook or the other server are but if we wanted to order something then she knows how to make waffles and bacon--REALLY?? I just knew this HAD to be a joke... well finally these 2 painters come in and sit down, I think they already had some food there, but all of a sudden the other two guys come in and the one has his shirt halfway tucked in and on the cell phone, the other one looks kinda shady but not as bad as the other two. Now I had already noticed that the floor was filthy behind the counter like they had just had a big rush. Ok, maybe they just haven't cleaned up yet... rags on the prep table by the grills, no sanitizer bins anywhere that i could see. Well by this time she figures out that one of the syrup bottles has honey in it and brings it over, saying "oh I thought this was a different kind of syrup but its honey" (I'm wondering if she just stuck her finger in it and found out that way?) They start cooking the food, he gets an american slam or whatever it is, with the waffle, grits, toast, etc. He tastes the tea, it is VERY sour! we tell her its not good and she says "oh is it too sweet?" NO its too sour!! She brings him a coke, but never takes the tea! By this time I need another hot tea. She brings the new cup, lemons, and then takes a tea bag and OPENS it and then realizes she wasn't supposed to and then just stands there confused again and then hands me an unopened one--wow-- then she walks away. Well by this time he gets his waffle, nothing else. I get my hash browns (I figured it was the safest thing to order) and the guy asks me if I need anything else and I said "yes... the WATER for my tea!!" Then she informed us that they were out of butter (OMG) but when he finally brought the rest of the food for him there was butter on the toast! (which, incidentally, was about the same thickness as the waffle but it might have been thicker!) As we were eating, they decide to hop up on the back counter, pull out their tips, and start counting them... now keep in mind this whole time they have not picked up a broom, wiped down anything, havent seen them wash their hands. I had my husband take a picture of the floor behind the counter, and another of the crusty top on one of the bottles on our table, which was not very clean to start with since we had to wipe it down along with the seat on my side of the booth! I swear I was expecting someone to come out and tell us we had been PUNK'D or something--where's the cameras?? I guess I'm going have to try to get in touch with the main office if that's possible but I DO know that I will be contacting our local DHEC and showing them some pretty rough looking pictures!!

i usually go every sunday to a waffle house in stockbridge,as i drove up 3 employees were snoking right out side the entery.it was 76 degrees outside and you could not see inside the windows were frosted up mit was so cold inside.i did not go in so i went to another waffle house on 138 & 75 ,the windows were frosted up there too.can't you control the thermostat.i went to mc donald to eat.

I am writing a formal complaint against the waffle house on clairmont rd in Atlanta Georgia. I just recently moved to apartments behind this location. I have called to place a to go order on six different occasions none of which were at the times any waffle house would be busy. Each time I was placed on hold for longer than 3 minutes while the employer on the other end was either talking about getting her boyfriend locked up to hair weaves to signing a full song on the radio each time I was placed on hold I had the capability to get in my car and drive to McDonalds across the street I guess WF does not need the business FYI there is no recession most places of business just have horrible employees sometimes more is not less please hire qualified individuals that give a damn because clearly the majority of staff goes not thanks

I would like to renew everyone's faith by saying if you are looking for a proper wafflehouse experience.. drop by unit 327 on 8600 west freeway ft. Worth TX.. I suggest coming in on first shift between the hours of 7am-2-pm....you'll be hard pressed to find a complaint! You'll be welcomed by cheerful smiles...awesome staff...and the best food around...hot.. fast and aesthetically pleasing.. your cup will never be empty nor your coffee old or cold...no request is ever denied here! Put this crew to the test...out of all of the diners lve frequented ...they are by far the best!! !! Just make sure to remember and show your appreciation ...after you've seen the worst...this crew should be rewarded and applauded for the hard work they put in to keep us as customers happy.

Waffle House in Bogart, GA (Athens area) has very good staff. Counter servers are always courteous and keep tabs on refills etc. Day time grill man is excellent preparing food as ordered. I went to high school with Joe Jr. and Diane and have been visiting various WH locations all over the south for over 50 years. Bogart is the best yet. Please pass this to your devoted employees..........

Went to a waffle house located off exit 116 on hwy 20 with my fiancé, 80 yo dad and myself and could not get waited on because we are white. Clearly discriminated against. We were the only ones on the restaurant at 7:15 pm on a Thursday July 12th. There were 3 African American women working.

Well I visited Waffle House in Grayson, Ga. this morning. The service was horrible! They even screw up oatmeal and when I complained she said would I like something else. I said I would like for them to redo oatmeal, they make to order. 25 minutes later I left and she said your oatmeal is ready. They want bring brown sugar until you ask for it, I used to go there almost every morning, not any more. Hello Cup and Saucer Diner!

I whent to apply at a waffle house and cant say I was impressed. now I am a man who has plenty of experiance in the custmer service indrestry, from waitering to help desk work. I was hired but declined the job because first of all when i sat down to wait for my Final Interview I herd at a few tables down an employee tell his custmers "I am sorry for the service but I drank a bottle of tequila last night and am still a little Hungover." Now after this I meet the manager and he was'nt impressive either he did not inform me of when I will start, what all he expected of me, what I sould expect of him or even what position he was hiring me for, as I applyed for any position avalible,I was curiouse what i would be doing. I needed a job and hadn't been working due to a sudden move for my spouse so I had to consider everything about what I saw around me and what it would be like once I was hired. So finaly I just looked at him and said thank you for the opertunity but I dont think I would like to work for your establishment. I reported the bad management and lack of profesionalizm to the main branch. Then not much longer after that I was offered a job as assistant manager at the store down the street from the store I origanlly applyed to. it has been two years now and my store is turning fifty to sixty custmers an hour and the one down the street, well it's closed down. So for all people considering applying for a job consider the managment of the fecility and the conditions your appling for. Sometimes it will be better to keep looking rather then to put yourself in a bad situation.

I normally don't write complaints such as these but just felt the urge. Just left Waffle House at 4100 Pemberton Square Blvd, Vicksburg‎ MS‎ 39180. Our family is traveling and in a bit of a time crunch. We called the order in ahead of time only to be told when we entered, they couldn't start our order till we arrived. That would have been Helpful to have known during the ordering process. Really?!? What is the point of "Call In" if they aren't going to cook it until you arrive. Not to mention we waited over 15 minutes and they had yet to still start cooking!!

i work at a waffle house in gulfport and my unit manager treats me terribly and no body will do anything about it i talked to my district all he did was fwd her my messages and so i talked to my region manager but im not sure how she is going to take car of the situation. i really need some advice here. i love my job at waffle house but i dont want to stay there to get mistreated

r u serious. we went to whouase on winchester rd across from lowes/wmart.10am.took 15min tpo get swervice another 15 to get drinks(1coff 1soda).cups sat empty.finally got food-part of it. i ordered 2bisc/gravy side of sausage.husband got 3poe eggs. i got my sausage was told biscuits were on grill.his 3oe eggs was a joke. 1 was oe-i fried hard-1 missing yolk. we got up and left without eating. we were told they are understaffed. r u serious? there was 3 tables. i put job app in there awhile back and no call. maybe they should hire people qwho want to work. now im back to work without eating. should reimburse me for my time and gas.waffle house is such a joke.trying to complain to a responsable person but cant find a # to call. im hungry

Granted Waffle House is not a fancy restaurant but it is definitely not a drive thru either.You have a hard working server setting up your eating utensils,taking your order,serving you your drinks,delivering your food hot and delicious,pre-bussing your table and making sure you are satisfied(that is if the server is doing their job correctly) My point is that please be a decent human being and leave that hard working server a good tip...and not just one dollar.If they did a good job then show them by tipping them what they are worth.If you cant afford to leave a tip..THEN GO THRU A DRIVE THRU AND LEAVE THAT SEAT OPEN TO SOMEONE WHO SHOWS US THE RESPECT WE DESERVE!!
