I WORKED IN KISSIMMIEE FL, HAD TO LEAVE BECAUSE OF CERRIA JONES, THEN GOT TO MY NEW STORE 1266, AND WAS FIRED, BECAUSE THEY SAID A CUST IN KISS,FL SAID I DISSIMISED AGAINEST THEM, I KNOW IT WAS CERRIA JONES WHO CALLED BUT WHAT CAN I DO. THE MANG TREVER CAMPBELL SHOULD BE FIRED, HE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO MANG A STORE. SHES STILL THERE DEALING DRUGS OUT THE DOOR AND NOTHING IS BEING DONE..CK OUT STORE 435...
I had just visited waffle house #1614 and all I have up complain about is the temperature. It was entirely too cold in the building. You could see your breath. The poor employees were wearing jackets to stay warm. One waitress volunteered to cook just to stay warm. The service was excellent. However, I wanted to eat and leave soon as possible. This is not acceptable!

I just want you to know since then I have worked in fast food,but Waffle House is the best company I have ever worked for. Youre daddy would come by and talk to the waitresses not the managers to see how things were going. Now I work for a big company and when the bosses come by you cant talk to them they dont know whats going on. Its the worst managed comoany I have ever worked for. I worked at the WaffleHouse in Ocean Springs MS, and then got moved over to one closer to home on Canal Rd. in Gulfport. Just recently I was told by my landlord that one of her friends, who's a regional manager for WaffleHouse, told her that I was fired for stealing from the register and was blacklisted. She's threatening to kick me out for this. 1: How do I obtain something stating that this isn't true? 2: Who do I contact to file a complaint against this manager? It's a complete breach of the Privacy-Act to be telling people stuff about my work history - be it truth or lies - and I want it taken care of. Any ideas?
Its Waffle House man, enough said! There is no better place to eat breakfast! IS IT A TRUE 5 STAR JOINT? No, but its been around a long time so they must be doing something right! Don't change a thing, keep it greasy, keep hiring the waitresses you hire, and keep those cooks cooking 20 different orders at one time and feeding us all in a hurry!

I had brunch at the waffle house at Oakland boulevard in Fort Worth, TX last Thursday Sept 23. What i saw was revolting and a possible violation of TX labor laws. An employee with a badly burnt nose was being verbally abused by his superiors! This guy was obviously in pain thanks to this big burn on his face and the management and staff were beating the poor guy down rather than doing he right thing and getting him some treatment! Not surprisingly this was the only polite employee (name tag - Amis) on the premises as confirmed on my interaction with him later. Waffle house is a disgrace and I and my friends are not eating there again. I also believe we need to get the TX authorities involved before they do further damage. Meanwhile the Waffle house management better give this employee an award or promotion or something for putting up with their crap yet happily and readily serving customers with a smile!
I ate at the waffle house on i 20 at exit 80 in south carolina an the lady serving us droped my boyfriends plate on my phone and broke the screen an then had an attitude with me when i asked what was going to happen about my phone. thats bs. get happier eemployes!
I myself worked for a waffle house for almost 5 years. I was fired back in nov 09 because they said they caught me on tape stealing from the register, but me and my other coworkers have never signed any drawer shortage forms and had no knowledge of the shortages. I asked to see the tape but my manager would not show me. I got a lawyer but the waffle house never sent a response to the letter. What kind of company accuses a person of something but wont let them see the tape or wont answer a lawyers letter back. I got my bonus check at christmas and it said that from year to date I had a whole $1 and some change that was taken for shortages. Now explain this one. They looked at tapes from sunday to wed. Im sorry but if someone was taking from me I would have gotten rid of them on the first day I noticed it not wait and let them work 4 more days and then fire them at the end of there shift. I loved my job and the people that I worked with and was fired for something I didnt do. I didnt sign any shortage forms. Waffle House hwy 101 in Greer needs all new management. Well after I was let go the manager left and the division manager moved to a new division. How convinent was that, and from what I hear the district is going else where also. All I wanted was my name cleared and the DHL removed so that I could go to a different one so that I could take care of my family I didnt make big bucks but I was able to take care of the kids on what I made.
I FELT AS THOUGH I HAD WALKED INTO A BAR FOR BREAKFAST in Archdale, NC (9/14/10 @ 10:30am). The music was way too loud and the servers were cutting up and carrying on with one customer seated at the counter. The laughter and talking (of the servers) were so loud, you could barely hear yourself think...much less have a conversation with family members. We have a small child and could not understand what he was talking about. We moved to another table to try and get away from the noise. That did not help. We even commented about the noise level and nothing was done. This went on for about 10 minutes. We decided to leave before our meal was served. I paid the bill and had them fix our order TO GO...we did not get drinks to take with us. The order was not taken correctly. There was only one other table of customers there. We left and will never be back again.
THIS WAS THE WORST TIME THAT I HAVE EVER HAD AT WAFFLE HOUSE. THE COOK LEAVES AND TOLD SOMEONE WAITRESS'S OR WAITRESS F U. MY FOOD ARRIVED THE EGGS NO CHEESE. THATS WHEN CRYSTAL BECAME ANGRY AT ME BECAUSE I REQUESTED CHEESE ON MY EGGS. WHICH I HAD ALREADY ORDERED. ATTITUDE STARES , EGGS ARE SERVED THE LOOK LIKE THE COOKED THEM OUT BACK ON THE GROUND. SO I SAID THAT THEY LOOKED TERRIBLE SHE BEBIN TO ARGUE WITH ME ABOUT THIS. I ASK TO SPEAK TO THE MRG. SPOKE WITH MRG TOLD HER THE PROBLEM WHILE BEING TAUNTED BY CRYSTAL. AFTER I ASK WOULD SHE EAT THEM MRG SAID NO. I THEN WAS TOLD TO( GET OUT OF WAFFLE HOUSE) THE MRG SAID NOTHING TO THE WAITRESS. I BEGIN ASKING FOR THE DIS MRG #. I CALLED HER WHILE WE WERE SEATING AND EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM. THE ONLY SOLUITION TO THIS PROBLEM FROM MRG DIS MRG CORPATE TRAINER INLOUISVILLE IS THAT U CAN HAVE A DINNER ON US. THAT FAR FROM A SOLUATION WHEN I HAVE A 6YR OLD CHILD SEATING HERE MY DAUGHTER. My daughter and I ate at the Waffle House on Redbud Road in Calhoun, GA yesterday around 11:30 a.m. We ordered breakfast and were served rancid o.j., slightly cooked eggs over medium and home fries that were hard on top. The Diet Coke was a joke. We paid our $14.00 bill (with tip) and left. After an hour, we were terribly sick, stomach pains, diarrhea and nausea. We must have hit 20 restrooms on our round trip to appointments and are still hitting the one at home! We couldn't eat anything the rest of the day and I'm diabetic and have to eat every 3 hours or I could get very ill. Their food made us very sick. We've often eaten there and it's just this one cook that's awful. I wish they would replace him with someone who can really cook and can tell if something is done. Another thing, they keep their eggs at room temperature above a greasy grill so that the heat rises up to the eggs. This is during an egg recall! They should be kept under refrigeration and I know for a fact, they were told this by the health dept.They didn't fair too well on the current health rating, but I read it in the paper after we ate there, not before. The health rating could not be seen on the door this morning. Shame on Waffle House for getting people sick! Fire that cook! He's the one with the very light hair color. For this reason I will never return to that location.

Rating is due to the poor customer service. My family and I have visited Waffle Houses many times in different states and never experienced a rude staff member as this one; Christina ( Chris). This WH is newly built, Garner Road in Spartanburg, SC; visited there 6/25 @ 1130. My family and I ordered our usual, when check received amount was ~ $7.00 more than usual. Ask for further explanation, more loud-talking language w/ attitude, calculator pressing, and derogatory language from Christina. After continued discussion and pointing out to her she was overcharging each one of our meals. I received more attitudes, paid the bill and left an appropriate tip. As my daughter (15), son (9), and I were leaving the waitress even more loudly remarks to another server and her visiting family members, "It's not my problem she don't know what she ordered cost...." I will not visit this WH again and that server is a poor reflection of the friendliness typically projects. This server ( with another on break) also used work time to call a styling school to check on rates for haircuts instead of tending to customers. A response is appreciated since the manager nor corporate has responded to 2 prior mailings.
Today 8-6-10 me and my honey went to the waffle house n deltona,fl off deltona blvd and debary ave. Before I say this let me jus inform you that my husband has been a chef for 30 plus yrs and I have been a server for 6 yrs so we can relate to most situations. Well it took 10-12mins b4 our server even came 2 greet us and she knew we where sittin cause she had to clean our table. She was in a really rude mood mayb cause she was busy. Well I guess the a/c is leakin or broke so they a guy takin the ceiling tiles down as we ate right next to it as the water splashed on floor on syrup and on people leg at we ate. Mind you the servers had 2 walk under when this nasty water was drippin n plates as they walked them to the table. So a few others said something about how nasty it was and how they shouldn't do that when people r eatin. I feel as if they should of closed that section off or waited til business was slower I feel that was so unsantier. And a health code volation. Please investigate Waffle House #374. I was told by your corporate office that this unit was hiring and when filling out applications numerous of time the supervisor there keeps telling me that they are not hiring. She was just nasty, nasty, nasty! Please note that I have worked at previous Waffle Houses and my status is currently listed as a rehire. I am a African American women that would like to at least get a decent interview! Or maybe just a friendly smile advising that we will call when we have the availability.
plzzzz do an investigation on store 415 on lawrenceville hwy..im normally a second shift waitress i have never gotten a shortage some how the manager CARL EDWARDS ask me to do a inventory while he was counting down our drawer the other waiter whom i always tend to work with was still takin orders because 3rd shift was 30 mins late...third shift finally arrives he takes our drawer without a waitress or waiter around to watch him count it...so i finally get done with inventory and he says we're 9.00 shorts then he adds the 4.00 more he has to pay us in credit cards...i ask him to double check but mind u the money was already seperated and went thru before i even gotten back there...i honestly don't agree with being written up for a drawer i was'nt even able to verify..i ask that corporate investigates store 415 and the way management handle the drawer between shift changes...im beginning to think i may be getting set up to get fired...8/1/10
I belive Waffle house has more bi-polar and borderline personalities working for than any franchise I know. Especially there League city Texas store. Many times while waiting for my food the servers as well as management have curesed each other out while cooking and serving food and then turn around to the customer and say with a smile "If there's anything else....." I've since stop eating there, the thought of syliva flying in my food was distubing. As well as no respect for the children....
