the waffle house in cliton is a great waffle house the emplyees there on 3 shift are always in a great mood the are always happy they are always nice and joking with the gest and eachother but there is one that is rud to everyone she is nappy and she messes up on all the order and when you tell her about it she gets smart with you traci is hateful to everyone i have been in there a few times with her and when i see that traci and bruce is there i leave bruce take to long to cook a order and he is always leaving the front he is always in back or outside smoking there is one emplyee that i love to see at work and that is darleen she has cooked our food righ and if it is not she will fix it with no problem and she always comes and talks to us she evens talks to my kids she is the best emplyee you have on 3 shift other than tiffany that is no longer there darleen has also waited on us she is a good waittress and a great grill cook she need to move up to manger and run that store maybe it will run a lot better than it dose now and traci and bruce need to be faired like NOW!!!!! this is the waffle house in cliton as soon as you get off the interstate

On 6/11/11 between the hours of 6.45 pm my wife placed an order for 4 people. The order, Texas cheese steak melt and hash browns all the way. The second order was ham and cheese omlet, bacon and hash browns covered and chunked. The third order was pork chops regular hash browns and 2 sauage patties, the fourth order was also pork chop 2 eggs and covered and chunked hash browns. and for my grand daughter a bacon and cheese sandwich. The employee who took the order repeated the order back so there was not mistake on the order, After plaing the order they told my wife when it was ready they would call and then give us a price of the meal. We waited until 720 pm and no phone call, I went ahead and drove to waffle house when I arrived there were only two couples and a single lady. A young man (employee) asked me if I was there to pick up an order when I told him yes he put down his broom and asked the cook about the order the cook told him to put the last bit into the bag, which was sauage on a plate instead of him washing his hands he took out some foil placed the sauage on the foil with his hands now im not safe certified but I do know about cross comtaimnation. Then the young man cash out the check it came to 45.76 I have never in my whold life paid that much at a waffle house, I believe I was charged for each piece instead of a meal combo. Not only was it high but we did not recieve all of our order. the first order I did not get the hashbrowns all the way there was no gravy, mushrooms or chili. The omelet order did not get bacon. The food was cold and I was not very happy at all. I won't go back again, you could of cut the laziness with a knife there was only 3 employees on duty and not busy at all so Im really surpised that we didn't get all we asked for. Lisa King manager of 1234. Is a terrible manager I have witnessed her, treating her employees poorly, harassing them when they are off duty. I have seen the cook there crying because of how poorly the manager treats her! I am fed up with this lady. She does nothing! But treats her employees like crap! I am now demanding an investigation on this store! I am going to continue until contacting you until this is dealt with!

The Waffle house in Westwego, La. Is horrible, The staff forgets ur food for 40 minutes ...the food was burned because the girl.was on the phone and cooking ...the clean up guy was cooking with dirty hand!!!! This is ridiculous ...people was walking out! They weren't acknowledging the customers at all when they sat down. They have lost us at this location..

I work at the Waffle House located on Fern Valley Rd. in Louisville, Ky. The supervisors are rude, nasty, unprofessional, they never answer their phone, and they're never there for any kind of assistance. 75% of the servers are jealous, lazy, they steal tables and tips, and their customer service skills sucks. They treat new hires horribly, and I think this is unacceptable and something needs to be done! Waffle House on Fern Valley is always under staffed, whether it's cooks or servers. They let big minded meth fiends run around thinking they're the supervisor. Which causes big issues among employees. Point is they need to hire new help, before they catch a case.

Today my girlfriend and I went to the Waffle House on 201 North Shackleford Rd. in Little Rock, Arkansas. We have been loyal customers of this particular store for the past several years. We thought today would be just like any other day, except for we had to wait for 25 minutes. There were three people working, one of which was a white older man who appeared to be doing all of the cooking. The other two employees were African American. The store itself did not appear to be as busy as we have seen it on other visits. After waiting for 20 minutes, a small group of African Americans came in and were seated directly next to us. Immediately, they received service. They were asked what they wanted to drink and received new silverware. My girlfriend and I (I am Hispanic and my girlfriend is white) did not receive ANY service at all for the entire wait period. No one asked us how we were doing, let alone did we get drinks or silverware. Normally, we are very patient and understanding. I never consider myself to be racist in any way, but in this situation, I feel that the black employees outwardly favored and gave preference to black customers. This is not right in ANY WAY. I find this to be an OUTRAGE. I hope that someone in the corporate office has a chance to read this and respond back to me. My phone number is 501-773-0349. Something must done. If it happened to us, I'm sure it has happened or will happen to others unjustly. Until we receive a response, Waffle House has completely lost our service.

My wife and I just returned from a vacation to Branson, Mo. We stopped at three different Waffle Houses. I failed to get the address but they all were of Rte. I30, however I remember one was around exit 130. I have been stopping at these for a number of years, and I am 70. Like always I ordered the three egg, over easy and girts and biscuit. I couldn't eat the girts or biscuits at any of the three and I could have easily asked for the eggs to be hard cooked. At the last place my wife order a pecan waffle, I would have been ashamed to place this on a plate, little loan serve to a customer. The quality of food was horrible, I don't know who you use to check on your places, even if you do any longer, however they need replaced. WHAT HAS HAPPENED DON'T ANYONE CARE ANYMORE

Waited on the other end of the phone long enough to get tired of waiting, get in my car, drive to the location. The waitress claims she was too busy to take my order, and finally another waitress hung up the phone before she could get back to me. (20 minutes). Strange because when I pulled up it looked like she was counting her tips. The worst service I have ever experienced. PS. The phone is always busy at this location. Probably because it is constantly left off the hook with a hungry customer on the other end no doubt. MOODY,AL Waffle House.

My family and IAd the worst experience possible that you would want to have on a restaurant. We had the displeasure of going to The Waffle House which is located at 4314 American Way in Memphis Tn. It took them 50 minutes to bring out one waffle for a family of ten. The waitress Tori, was hostile and was very angry when I inquired about the food. She bit her lips as if she wanted to curse me out. They were on cell phones. In the middle of taking our order she left abruptly and started taking someone from the counters order. It was so much excess waffle dough around the waffle makers it looked like a small mountain. The floor was dirty and no one wore hair nets or gloves when handling the food. That was our first a d last time at any Waffle house. My sister asked to speak to the manager and she looked as usas if we were speaking French. They told the waitress to calm down when I started to complain Never ever will we eat there. And when I het home I will file a formal complaint and contact the health department.

This morning my wife and ate at the Waffle House in Alvarado Texas. The waitress was horrible. I asked for hot or warm syrup for my pecan waffles and she told me that the health dept had told them they can no longer heat syrup. That is the worst excuse, she could have put a small amount in bowl, microwave and here we go, I have been eating at many different Waffle Houses for over 18 years and had warm syrup everytime I had waffles. Second, I ordered my eggs over medium because I can't stand runny whites, I cut into my eggs and the whites were not done. Third, you all make awesome hash downs, the ones we received were not cooked all the way , the out side was brown and that is all. The inside of stack was warm but uncooked, I had them smothered and the onions were totally raw. I have worked as a bartender for past 20+ years and was imbarassed for the way the waitress Mary asked for tips. She would run a credit card then tell the customer loudly enough for all sitting at the high bar hear "if you don't want to tip put a line through here, or else put a tip there". Embarrassed the customers, I don't tip on the card, but am a very good cash tipper and would be pissed if that was said for all to hear after leaving a cash tip. I have eaten at this store many times with no problems, but the staff today sucked

I ate at the waffle house in hopewell, VA. The most dirtiest place I have ever seen in my life. The counter was dirty when I sat on the chair. Another lady came in and sat next to me and she was the one who clean the food off the plates. The trash cans are piled up with trash and no lids. servers eating and drinking inside the kitchen. The manager is nowhere to be found because she is so busy cooking. The kitchen is a real nightmare. There is food and silverware on the ground. The majority of the workers look all mad. these people don't have any clue of what sanitation means. Public health needs to go in there and see how they work. oh my God. The cooks are also wearing jewelry and watches inside the kitchen. total disgusting place. they should close these places down and put a McDonalds instead.

MY Husband and I went to lunch at the waffle House located between Salem RD and Brown Bridge (Covington, GA)yesterday May 26, 11 aroung 11AM. Although we eat there a lot but this particular time,we sat at the bar, the area where they cook their waffles was NASTY, dough on the counter, aorund the grill area. Under the stove and grill area were even worst. A staff menber attempted to sweep the floor but only clean the middle of the floor. Spoke to the manager (CHRIST), he informed me that that they usually clean that area once a week or when they get a chance.The staff was nastier. Leaving dirty plated any where, instead in the designated area. Miss Lawson, you ae right they do keep their eggs above the grill. Restaurant rating 95. I don't believe it. My husband's waffle was lumpy (too much dough)and over cooked). Not to mentioned that they charges our account one month after the last time we ate there. WHose going to look for a retaurant bill one month after you ate there. Customer Service was good, but store nasty.

Worst company I've ever worked for. No quality of life and pay isn't enough for the work and hours. Waffle House is sexist as well. Just look at the comparison in male and female uniforms. Females have to wear shirts untucked(very unprofessional) and they have to wear ties. If Waffle House is worried about waitresses showing their backsides and cleavage maybe they should focus on hiring the right kind of people.

i worked for waffle house a good amount of time and i was tooken off the scedual not notifided i was just wundering what could be done about this im also mad because a girl stole my tip money from me and nothing was done

Now here is why I would rate Waffle House a three in any case. The food is good, it comes out fast and fills you up. Price range? Well.. $3 for two eggs that can buy an entire carton is pushing it but hey, they have to make money. Now here is why I would never ask any of you to ever work there. First off if you are not a young female, forget about making any good tips at any Waffle House or really any serving positions. You do not only serve, but wash dishes and clean your ass off. The cook just sits there, right? Wrong. They are there to cook, get the prep done on 2nd and manage 5 - 10+ orders by themselves on a marking system you must learn on top of cleaning the back of the store and behind the counter. No one is really happy working there, ever. It sounds easy at first yet notice how I say at first. All this at a whopping minimum wage or perhaps a few random cents more an hour you have to ask about. It is a job, but that's as far as the goodness gos working there. I got fired myself after being asked to come back for being late many times, however everyone at that store was just as late or more everyday as I was every few days. It is a good place to eat, not so great place to work. This being said even if I never worked there or got fired.

I work at the waffle house as we speak and I have been having problems with my pay check. I work all these hours but my check doesn't prove it. I feel as if I'm working hard for nothing. I mean I work 42 hours and only make $30. I seem to make more in tips for the hours i work then according to my check. I don't know if I'm missing something or misunderstanding but, it doesn't seem right to me. I would like to know what's going on and I have talked to the managers about it and they have not corrected the problem yet. Is there some kind of help I can get?

My handicap wife and I are in centre al. Waffle house freezing while the waitress says AC is turned off where is air coming from then. We're not stupid and don't appreciate the lies just because she is having hot flashes. I guess we will eat elsewhere tonight. If you people don't care about your coustomers then shut the place down.

You have a watress that is married and dating other married men at your establishment right where us as customers can see.It is nasty and sick. All I know is her tag said Michele H.. And it is at Monroe Georgia. I won't be back and will be telling my friends how prostitution wise that is.
