I went and ate at waffle house #1612 in Cumming GA and it was Horrid. the food was nasty and the employees were extremely rude and timid. The sad thing was that the District manager(believe her name was Shelly) was there and informed of the behavior and did nothing! i know where i will never eat again!

On 12-21-2010 I went to the Waffle House at 631 W. 15th Street in Panama City, Fl and sat down. Staff saw me and just kept doing their own thing. After about 10 minutes, I got the attention of a waitress that was standing there wiping silverware and she said my waitress was sitting down talking so she took my order (grill cheese sandwhich and scattered hashbrowns with onions and extra cheese). About 5-10 minutes later the waitress who was supposed to be mine got up and saw me and asked if I had been helped. I told her that after 10 minutes I got someone to help me and she made a smart comment about where I was sitting and said it was hard for them to see customers there. She soon brought my order and left without asking if I needed anything, so I had to get the other waitress' attention to tell her the order was wrong. By this time I was so frustrated that I just got up and left and I will never go to another Waffle House again. I waited tables for years with my first job being at Omelet Shoppe and this behavior is totally uncalled for. You do not ignore a customer simply because they are not in your section. I had just eaten at Coram's ( a localally owned Waffle House type place) a few days before and it was excellent as always and because it is the holidays, I left my server a $10.00 tip. Why would I go to Waffle House when I can go to Coram's and get better service and food?

I grew up being a regular customer of waffle houses from all over the u.s.a. I am so disappointed to see how waffle houses service and employees have plummeted. I order two breakfasts for me and my girlfriend and the food was fine all except for the fact that for both of us I ordered triple egg whites well done and mine looked triple and my girlfriends only looked double and I said I wanted another one, because it did not look like there were three. The cook approaches me, with attitude telling me that when you remove the yolk they are smaller, well no duh!! I have been eating egg whites since I was 18 and I am now 37. What? Do you think that I have regular eggs and just when I come to waffle house I just order egg whites. The cook and I had words and the lady that took my order was nice and got my extra egg. On top of that the gratuity was $2.54. Since when did you add gratuity for to go orders, I do infact tip even with to go orders and gave an extra $3, but was not told the gratuity was added until after I asked why the bill was so high. That was a lot of money over @20. for two people to eat, plus added gratuity. For future reference, I have been a server/bartender and manager of restaurants for a decade and when you add gratuity you should always tell the customer so they do not feel cheated. This store is in Atlanta, off Chamblee-Dunwoody Rd. I live less than three miles away. I want to return there because I have never had a problem there, but that man cook that worked this morning was rude and should be FIRED!!!! Because, when I was talking to the young man at the door the cook stared me down and I told him if he had anything to say to come to me, he said your staring at me and I am his boss, talking about the young man that I was talking to at the door. So you know, my gf is an H.R.Manager, and she works for an international company here and Atlanta, I told her and she will be contacting your offices. I hope that an investigation will be started on this situation. I spoke with the young man, that was very nice, Jared and he said he would tell the manager Lisa, he did say she was there and I tried calling when I left to speak with her and they told me she wasn't there today! Please do something!!!!

The drama continues at the Pace Fl. Waffle house with denise and her cheating on her husband with a costumer Now she moved in with this guy in May. but update now She is back with her Husband and she is now showing off her new car her husband bought her. what kind of sick people do you have working for you there? Has a affair with a customer and then goes back to her marriage and she is showing off her new car like she was rewarded for what she has done? Its not like no one knows whats going on she tells everyone and made her husband look like a major loser but as it turns out he is a really nice guy and she is the loser. Its something else She thinks everyone in the store just loves her in truth no one there really cares. all the customers just shake there heads. She is some one you do not need working for your company. You do not sleep with customers! The big kick is The guy she cheated with still comes in to the store and hangs out for hours. I should tell her husband so he knows what a fool he is being made of. But She would lie her way out of it. You have a true socialpath working there. Sorry myself and others I know have stopped going to waffle house to eat because if you have people like this working for your company I have stoppeed going there.

Where to begin. Visited Store # 1119 in Archdale, NC. Let me just say thay we have been going to Waffle House every weekend for the past 6 years. And only recently when they closed or revamped the Kernersville location and moved the peons from over there to this location that things started going downhill. My one and only problem is EGGS HOW HARD IS IT TO SCRAMBLE EGGS. DIDNT KNOW THAT SCRAMBLED EGGS ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE WHITE PATCHES IN THEM. I DONT EVEN CONSIDER THAT MIXED. TO THE DUMB FUCK MANAGERS THEY KNOW WHO THEY ARE. THE RAGGEDY OLD FUCKS COOKING THE MEALS. MUST BE BLIND OR LOSING THEIR SITE. PLEASE LEAVE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. On one occasion I had to send my plate back 3 times and it still wasnt right after that... Was told about 2 months ago that they would be transferring the old retarded fucks back to where they came from but that must have been bullshit cause every weekend I see the same fucks.. most of time I ask if my waitress to cook my meals for me since she seems to be the only one that can cook. that stopped cause the DUMBFUCK management over there got all mad cause it was messing up their flow... well let me tell everyone, you need to bitch as much as possible to get what you want it seems... especially with the morons that seemed to illy running the place... THE BEST WAY TO DEAL WITH DUMBFUCKS LIKE THAT IS TOO KEEP SENDING THE FOOD BACK TO BE MADE AGAIN AND AGAIN MAYBE AFTER THE 7TH TIME THEY WOULD HAVE 40.00 WORTH OF FOOD WASTED MAYBE THEY WILL GET IT STRAIGHT... EVEN ASKED THE WAITRESS WHOM I'VE KNOW FOR ATLEAST 4 YRS. TO MAKE SURE THEY WHIP IT IN THE BLENDER THATS HANGING FROM THE SIDE GRILL AREA. AND THE DUMBFUCKS STILL COULDNT GET IT RIGHT. CAUSE THEY DIDNT WHIP. PERIOD THEY DID WHAT THE FUCK THEY WANTED TOO. THIS ISNT THE FIRST TIME I HAD CALLED THE COMPLAINT LINE. CALLED 2 WEEKS BACK AND THEY SAID THEY HAD NO RECOLECTION OF THAT CALL BUT SAID WE SHOW SOMETHING FROM FEB 09.WTF..... MY PLAN OF ATTACK IS TO KEEP GOING TO THAT LOCATION AND SEND THE SHIT BACK TILL IT COMES OUT THE WAY I WANT IT TOO.. I WILL DRIVE UP THE FOOD COST TO THE EXTREME.. I WILL NOT BE SATIFIED TILL THEY ARE GONE THE MANAGMENT (WHITE FUCKS THAT CANT COOK PAT AND CINDI). A REPLACEMENT MEAL WILL DO NO GOOD... ACTUALLY GONNA CALL UP THERE AND POST THEIR NAMES ON THIS BLOG SPOT SO THAT EVERYONE WILL KNOW WHO THEY ARE... HOPEFULLY MANAGEMENT (REGIONAL OR DISTRICT) WILL GET RID OF THEM. WILL NOT HOLD MY BREATH THOUGH

I worked at the Waffle House in Fayetteville, Ga, store 1344. And it was not the most pleasant experience, the unit manager James Aquarius is the worst manger. He is not managerial material at all. The first bad experience I had with he was when I was sick and could not attend work due to me being ill. I called him seven hours before my shift to tell him I would not be able to attend work. Mr. Aquarius response was he did not understand the reason I could not show, even after telling him the extent of my illness, and how it would be very unpleasant to appear at work in this manner. He goes on to tell me I must show a doctors note upon returning to work. I had another issue with him but did not approach him with the issue. He has the 3rd shift on some of our busiest days to do inventory. It posted in the back room and in the training book where it states that 1st and 2nd shifts are to do inventory, but he has his staff so afraid of him that no one will say anything. He gives punishments such as cleaning ceiling tiles or something that he feels is best to use to his advantage. I think this very unprofessional to retaliate against you because you speak up. The most recent incident was on the morning of December 18, 2010. Weeks after giving him my two weeks notice. I received the schedule and it conflicted with what we previous had discussed. We both agreed that New Years would be left open until I gave him a clear on weather or not I would work. So on the morning of December 18, 2010 I reviewed the schedule and found some conflicting dates. The first was Thursday December 23, 2010, this is because I do attend classes and that is our last day which includes finals the second is the new years weekend, where he had me schedule for, even though we did agree to leave it open. This is when his attitude changed and he became upset. He than started to shout at me in the most unprofessional manner, stating he GAVE me this job, as if he owned me or I owed him something. I explain to him that I put in my two weeks notice and working Christmas was an agreement and not mandatory. Mr. Aquarius then repeatedly asked me to leave before he said something he would regret. I left before the situation escaladed into something more. I refuse to return because I am afraid of a confrontation with him that will not end well. I did not quit my job I was asked to leave, and I feel like a situation of this manner should be dealt with. No one should have to work under these circumstances of being fearful of their job if they are being unfairly treated and to voice your opinion to be retaliated against by an unprofessional manger.

Derby City Waffle Treats it's Managers and District Managers awful! I'm a regular at Preston Hwy and Fern Valley Waffle Houses,in Louisville KY. Theres a District Manager that seems to alway's be there day and night, I don't think he's had a day off since he started working in those stores! Corporate Waffle House should do something about the way this company treats it's employees. I know previous Managers, District Managers that actually were receiving food stamps something should be done!

You need to do a drug test on the manager brandy at the Waffle House in gulfport Ms on hwy 49 and airport rd. I've sold her drugs in that back room. She turns the lights off so the cameras dont see.

I worked for Waffle House for four years, I loved my job and I could great almost every customer by their first name. I came into work one morning and one of my coworkers had been taunting me, I tried to go on with my work but the taunting kept going on and on. So finely I went to the manager and asked him if he would please say something to her, but he said and i quote "I will not say a damn thing I was not out there, you need to stop this shit and get back to work." so I went back to work but she kept on until I was in tears. I went back to the manager But he would not do anything but say "Go back to work!" I told him I could not work likes this and he told me, "Than you need to leave!" I had to leave I could not go back out on the floor and deal with it without crying and making a fool of myself in front of customers. Then I was told I was fired for walking out. I felt as though I was being be-trade it hurt because I loved my job. After I that I still went in to eat but one day one of my regular customers came in and asked me "So when are you coming back?" Before I could say anything the manager walked up to the customer and said, "Never she walked out and has been red flagged. She will never work for us again, you can bet you money on that." I turned beet read I was so hurt, and then to find out in front of the customer that I could never work for Waffle House again. The Waffle House I worked in I was also a 22 year customer. I had been going there since I was 2 days old. I know I have been wrongly done all I want is for the red flag to come off my file so that I might work at a different Waffle House. Waffle house sucks i'd rather eat breakfast in bed i was once at a waffle house in snellville ,ga and the waitress had a taser and was playing with it instead of taking orders it was really loud and scary and on top of that another guy walks in and she lets him start playing with it wat a bunch of douches also every waffle house is freezing inside invest in some central a/c call sandy shumate and have her install some heating cause that cold is rediculous. also your jukebox songs suck and are outdated i mean who the heck listens to the gaystreet boys anymore? Queers.

After reading about other Waffle Houses, Ive got to say if you want to come in and be treated super friendly,get hot food fast that is cooked by a great cook please come in and see us, Gina, Jessica, Stephanie, Megan,Ann,on 3rd on 2nd you will be treated great by Destiny and Danielle. I was a trainee at the Greystone unit in Hoover, AL and it was terrible. The first trainer (Kelly) was nice but I felt she focused on the other trainee more. She was being shown so much more than I was. The other managers were always looking at her training books and making sure she was up to date, while I was getting behind. I talked to more than one manager about getting behind in my books and the response was always we will get to it but we never did. Overall no one seemed interested in my training. The trainer was fired (for stealing) and for two days I had another trainer (Dana) and it was great I learned a lot and felt like I was wanted there. The following monday the district manager (Richie) took over and my training was derailed. All he had me do was cleaning tables, floors, and dishes all day, even after I talked to him about being behind on my chart. I learned nothing that day. He also, repeatedly asked me about the hotel I was in. He would not stop asking, the same day, have you found an apartment yet; hotels cost money. I haven't worked 2 weeks yet, I needed time to make and save money to pay for a place. I came to Hoover with only $30 in my pocket. Tuesday was no better. He (Richie) finally had me doing something involving my training. I marked plates. It was my first time and even though I studied the marking card, I was still having trouble. He told me to go do something else he would mark the plates. He also would prepare orders wrong and blame it on me when the saleperson said the customer complained about the order being wrong. After I told him the exact order the saleperson called out. He and the other trainee (Maggie) would walk around together and saying negative things about me. Richie also made a racial joke to one of the salepeople (Brandy). He asked Ashley to tell Brandy how to setup a table. Ashley said white on right. Richie then told Brandy that the reason they had that rule was because "white it right, HAHA". I, as an African American was angry and felt uncomfortable. I left after I was told to clean the floors and waffle irons. While he and the other trainee stood around and talked. I contacted Amanda the HR lady that recruited me and told her I was quitting. I told her was happened and she offered me another district in Huntsville, AL. I declined because the Alabama managers seem to be a close group and I just didn't want to be in that situation again. I know I rated my experience a 1. But the employees at Greystone are great and do a great job. I gave it a 1 because of the lack of interest in my training and for a manager that seemed to not want me there.

i have gone to waffle houses over the past 20 years,very good service.but now i no longer eat there.i have a claim that was waffle houses fault.and now they refuse to pay or even contact me.ripped the frontend of my bmw back in april of 2010.i'm in the process of suewing them for not paying for demanged.this happened at the las vegas store in white settlement texas..

I am fully aware that smoking in the Bowling Green, KY restaurants is legal and not banned by local, nor KY law. However, it seems to me that your company, as a chain-wide policy would CEASE all smoking, in view of the overwhelming evidence that smoking, as well as second-hand smoke causes cancer, heart disease, lip and many other cancers, emphesema and numerous other diseases. Your restaurants are in small buildings with heat/air systems that cannot protect customers and, especially employees from cancerous carcinogens that cigarettes provide.(I read that no building's system does.) By allowing smoking in your restaurants, you become a party to, and are partly responsible for 1000's of deaths each year. I believe that Bowling Green and the State of Kentucky are also parties to this behavior, but the Waffle House company should do the responsible thing......I am a regular customer, and enjoy your breakfasts. But I am amazed that WH allows smoking!

I attended Waffle House located at 3036 Anvil Block Rd, Ellenwood, GA 30294 the booths were full and I was the only one waiting. Because of a old back and leg injury I cannot set at the bar with the high seats. I was the only one waiting, I waited for 10-15 minutes then some younger people came in then turn around and walked back outside. The waitress asked if they were leaving, they responded, "No we are going outside for a smoke we will be back in." Then a lady at one of the booths finished her meal and got up to pay and leave. The above mentioned waitress began cleaning the booth at this time I approached the booth to set when she told me that she had promised the booth to the people outside. I respond but I been setting there waiting before them and she respond sorry I already promised. HMMMMMM! must be nice to have friends working where you don't have to wait like everyone else.

The waffle house in shallote, nc is horrible. the staff really needs to be checked. there is a married couple that works there that shouldnt have a job. that place is supposed to be a corporate store and all they have is nasty people working there. no wonder waffle house has a bad name. they need to take in consideration that the crapy people they hire is why they dont get business.

the local resturant in mcminnville th is un professional while i was there the manager and the wait staff were fondeling each other and the managers married. my food was cold and throwed on the plate . if they stop playing around and start acting professionally they might get good service

I needed some help with retrieving some tax information from 06&07 so I called a corprate office . Valarie Presley helped me and with in four or five miniutes had everything I needed and said it would be in the mail today. Excellent job Valarie!

My wife had 5 interviews for a mangment postion. The last one was with me. The interviewer wanted to know if I was okay with the work hours she would be working. I said I was good with it. After that they said they would be in contact the same day with an offer. Well a week later she get's a text from the regional manager saying thatn she is sorry that it has taken so long. Another week goes by and I tell my wife to call and find out yes or no, guess what, the regional manager texts her back with a offer. It was for a waitress position. Thier is a serious lack of proffesionalism at waffle house. And it has been about two months and still no check in the mail for her time. waffle house and thier mangament can go fck themselves.
