I know that this sounds bad,but my family and I went to waffle house in Franklin ,In.and the cook that was on shift has a problem with cooking.I have had problems with this cook before and he cook my eggs three times ,they were suppost to be over medium with the whites done and the yellows runny.,when I got them all three times the yellows were cooked thru ,hard,so we came back today 9/13/11 and I thought that I try again to get eggs cook I talk to the waitress who was one of the best u have on the shift.Nice and help full anyway she asked him to make them sunny side up ,just make sure the whites were cook anyway what I received was dead eggs.every bit was cook thru I had to use a knive to even cut them.My husband wanted scrambled and he got fried then cut up to make them look scrambled .WE use to go to that waffle and steak about ever other day and have for years we know alot of the employees by name and they know use.Dont get me wrong you have so very good cooks that know how I like my food and take pride in what they serve,but this one on the grill at 8 o clock tonight doesnt seem to care. About any thing he cook and this isnt just from one experience he has cook for us at least three times and it always uneatable food.the waitress ask he if he could cook the eggs or if she should and he says that he never screws up and order.this I know is not true because other customers has complained about him to.Anyway we will not eat there anymore when he is cooking all my family fells the same waffle house us to be the only place we would go to eat and drink coffee now it just seems to much trouble to go just to see whos cooking,to know whether or not we can get a good meal.I would be very happy if I can get a return email or call to let me know if you are going to take care of this problem ,if I dont receive a answer I take it as your customer dont matter and we will take your business else were my number is3176934166 thank you janice

I love my waffle house... Its clean because we keep it that way and its a high volume store because we keep em coming bac. I mean we always have our issues and drama but its cool becase at the end of the day we love eachother... i wouldnt change my unit (1567 off cruise and pleasant hill by the race track) for the world.... but soon i wont work for waffle house anymore... because i will be in my career.... ive been working for wafle house since i was 16 for five years.... Im a cook/ expedite/ salesperson.... i love my store and all of my coworkers... i think we have an awesome group of co workers and i love my managers tooo!!!! :)

MY FAMILY EATS AT THE GEORGETOWN N 25 STREET LOCATION AT LEAST 3 TIMES A WEEK AND DID ENJOY IT. LAST NIGHT WE ATE ABOUT 9.30 AND HAD TWO MEALS OFF THE 5.00 MENU PLUS A SIDE OF HASHBROWNS. OUR TICKET WAS 18.25. ITS USUALLY 13 OR 14.OO. WE COULDNT MAKE THE WAITRESS UNDERSTAND IT SHOULDNT BE THAT MUCH. I GAVE HER 20.00 AND WE LEFT. I THINK HER NAME WAS RUTHANNE WE WONT GO BACK. I WOULD APPRECIATE A REPLY. A VERY DISSAPOINTED CUSTOMER IN CLEVELAND TN.

Waffle House #82 hires all drug addicts and crack heads. I wad harrassed by the one name Beckie. She harrasses all the guys that comes in trying to go home with them. She tells all the store budiness she even told me she was staying at some drunk lady house that comes in the Waffle House #82- what ki.d of customer service is this place running. A man hauted by the old woman Becky at the Waffle House. Becky promises good sex and all.

I honestly love my job as a grill operator, but I have been at a Florida location for a little over a year and I am the lowest paid cook it seems. I have not gotten a raise whatsoever. I deal with a master grill operater who is a grown man who cries and bellows when I refuse to work his shifts due to the fact that I have in the past and he would not reciprocate. Not to mention, salespersons who believe they are "holier than thou" and walk on water. I don't feel appreciated for the commitment and time and effort I put into my job. Why offer a job with a smile when all you're going to do is hire me and laugh behind my back? Corporate needs to do a colon cleansing with the stores a lot more than the "do". I tried to click 1 and a half star, but apparently corporate thinks people don't choose grey areas :/

Went to the Waffle house in Akron ,Ohio on 3rd shift Fri Aug.19th. Service was horrible for everyone that was in there. We had a waitress named Becky. After sitting there for over 1/2 hr she came up to us and asked us if we were waited on informed her no, told us to hang on. Did not come back until 10 mins later.Waited another 1/2 for food. People behind us got their food for free.He asked for a corporate # to complain, she said she didnt know it. Another couple behind us never received their bacon, they asked her 3 times, she never said anything to them. Finally a cook came over asked how meal was explained they didnt get their bacon, he said "i see it sitting up there, went and got it by then it was cold, like everyone elses meals. Another couple came in after us sat there for over 1/2hr aked if they could be served 3 times, she looked at them and said "im just having a day", never did served them, the cook finally went over about 25 mins later and took their order. It was an awful experience, their was only 1 nice person there the guy that got the drinks Preston. Normally when you go to a Waffle house down South they are very friendly, greet you when you come in, and the food is great.Not in Ohio!!!!!! Becky is an aweful waitress, not friendly at all!!!!!

I visited the Waffle House in Sanford NC with my family on Saturday Aug 20, 2011. I could noit believe that the Cook kept taking a Pocket Knife from his back pocket to cut open Containers and Food. It was bad enough he was using his pocket knife, god only knows what he cut with it before coming to work. The Waitress told everybody in the store she had been fired that day and the Manager had called her and begged her to come back since she did not have a waitress for 2nd shift. It was so cold we had to leave, the regulars said it was always freezing in there and they kept it like that so they did not have to wait on customers. The waitress said, you have to understand, we have to have time to do all the side work and that's the only way we can do it. My son ask if the waitress was drunk. It was truly a Nightmare. I will not be going back to that waffle house again.

My husband and I went to eat at the Waffle House on Hwy 25 (Peach Orchard Road) in Augusta, GA 30906 yesterday right at 6:30pm. It was busy and we knew we would have to wait. Waiting was no problem. We had a very nice server "Nancy". Nancy was sure to ask all the questions in order to get our order correct. She did. We heard Nancy tell the cook our order. My husband nor I heard Nancy order what the cook was saying she did. After a few minutes the cook started yelling at Nancy. telling her she had ordered too much meat and that she was backed up because of it. It did not stop there but the cook talked loudly to the other lady working in there telling her how Nancy was responsible for her being late. I was very embarassed for Nancy. Nancy was a very good server. She apoligized for the lateness. The other lady working in there was new also. Nancy had just started this week. Nancy broke out in tears and I wanted to join her. I do hope something is done to the cook. She was very out of line. Everyone has to learn. The cook was wrong. I never saw a manager. Just the 3 ladies. I do not feel like anyone should be yelled at must less in front of all of those people. I'll go back for Nancy but not the cook. It would have been a perfect meal if it had not been for the cook.

We have 2 waffle houses here in morristown TN the one on the west side prices are slight higher and the service sucks. The west side said they have no tbone steaks on the second shift the one little girl loves to over charge hoping you don't catch it. The one on the east side is as friendly as can be they serve tbone steaks any time you want them and they go out of their way to please you.They are also a few cents cheaper amazing how the same resturant has different qualities.

i worked at waffle house six mths at the emory rd,powell tn. store,,#723,i am hard of hearing,in all my life i have never had any problems,like i have experienced recently at waffle house,i have been embarrassed,humiliated in front of customers,by waitresses and retaliated against as far as working hours,pay and promotion by management,there answer was i was incompitent,even though i was told i did good work for six months,i have never experienced this type of behavior at me in my life time,,this is the bible belt?,i have never met so many judgemental people in my life,,well so much for southern hospitality

Well I said I would not complain but waffle hse 500 along buford highway is a bad choice for children. Sunday morning walked in for breakfast with my 3 children to staff and manager discussing their sex life. After 10 mins of this I had to physically get up and ask manager name simi to change conversation. My waitress do not recall name just that she had accent from europe was apologetic for the staff although she was only one not involved. I can say I will never go to this location again very inapproiate.

I will never eat at the waffle house in Washington,pa again! There was a manger cooking and I ordered hashbrowns and there was a hair in it, then the second one they made for me also had a hair in it! I'm really upset on this action!

Manager at Fort Payne, Al throws my son in law out because the 1 1/2 yr old granddaughter is crying! He hadn't had a chance to eat his food yet nor the 3 1/2 yr old grandson! They are all forced to leave because the granddaughter was crying. No warning, no asking to quiet the kid, just leave! I've been in a LOT of Waffle Houses since early 70's and I've never heard of a manager doing something this mean and thoughtless!

I keep hearing people talk about the salespeople and cooks at waffle house, yes they should be respectful to customers but at the same time they shouldn't have to take customers attitudes and smart mouths. 90% of waffle house employees are great but there is always that other 10%. And that 10% is going to grow because of the pay that waffle house offers the good employees are going to find something that pays more and then waffle house will be stuck with the bottom of the barrel. Top pay for a waffle house waitress in georgia is $3.40 even when minimum wage went up they didn't get anythind waffle house says they think there pay in in range with the cost of living..give me a break. Waffle House doesn't give a dayum about their employees anymore and they claim to be a family restaurant..lmao...that's a Joke...but if they are a family restaurant why don't they close so their employees can be with their families on Christmas..the cooks and salespeople are working that day busting their butts making more of that all mighty dollar for waffle house while the corporate offices are closed if any employee of waffle house is required to work on CHRISTMAS they all should have to work INCLUDING Corporate .

I went into the greer sc waffle house this afternoon to relax for a few minutes and say hey to my girlfriend who is a waitrees there and was told I had 15 minutes to smoke and finish my drink by the manager. I was not causing trouble and i was not talking to anyone unless they talked to me first. I am a regualr there and I no longer will be going back until they change their attitude. I am very dissatisfied with the way I was treated

i use to work at waffle house but i got fired because of how they treated me i was working one night and my coworker and i was left to run the resturant because the cook decides to show up, not get out the car, and drives off the premisses, so i'm waitressing and my coworker is cooking, she asked me if i needed any help to just ask her and she would help me, well everything was going great until a group of customers come in and at this time she decides not to help me, now i was still new there, so i go into the bathroom, she claims she couldn't find me, i thought this was so stressful because i asked her and she told me no after telling me she would help me out so i clocked out at the time ii was supposed to and called the manager that came in that morning and told him what happened he told me to stay so i went back in and she told me to go it wasn't in a nice attitude she was very rude about it so i left and went home, thinking that i still have a job, i get told "we have to let you go" i asked why, and the manager told me because of register shortages, but i don't remember signing a paper for this shortage.

On Sun, July 31, 2011, my husband and I visited the Loxley, AL WH to meet an old associate of mine. We informed our waitress that we only needed drinks because we were waiting to meet someone, but would order a meal once our meeting had concluded. My associate was late & I again promised our waitress we wouldn't waste her booth & then asked her shift's end time to make sure she received her deserved tip for literally "waiting" on us. She was so pleasant and if she weren't patient and understanding, I'd never know it because she never once made a negative comment or gave us a dirty look. After 2.5 hours in a booth she could've filled and served 3 more times over, we finally finished. We tipped her nearly twice our bill's total, but I hope it was worth it to her for her time & patience, especially after a long shift on a busy day. If you're ever in that location and need to see a sweet, kind face, stop in and see Ms. Mary. I don't know if she'll ever realize what an impact she had. People like her give me confidence in servers, and all she was doing was her job- exactly as she would want to have been served. Thanks again, Ms. Mary!

First of all I enjoy eating at Waffle House very much. It's an addicting place to eat. The Waffle House on South Freeway going South,next to the Hollywood Theatre is the one here in review. The cleanliness is just at good. Every time I've come in there employees are so busy with the customer that some times areas can be over looked. Underneath the cooking equipment seems a problem area. Counters at times aren't thoroughly clean under the mats. General cleaning seems to be okay. Employees work hard, sometimes one or two looked overworked. The manager plays dominoes, I don't know if he's on break or he get's an hour lunch to do this. This is just something I noticed. Maybe I'm over criticising, but it's just observations. The manager doesn't put himself on call to employees if they have problems such as cooks or waitresses not able to work. Waitresses usually have to fill in to cook, because of absenses and the waitresses have to double up when other employees don't show. The food is excellent and most of the time the employees seem to be happy and they are pleasant to be around. Especially the younger starter waitresses. Very nice manners. They greet you and constantly check on you to ensure you're satisfied with the food. They dilligent try to keep the place clean, but it's a chore due to the high volume of customers. This is just a review of letting you know what I see. No retribution against any employees. If there's improvement issues I mention it. This is all. All employees have to work to survive. This is a survival job and I know this, because I've done it in my younger years. There's never a great day in the food serving business, just a lot of hard work. I commend the waitresses for their stamina. Their hard work. Please let them know this, because without them I wouldn't be able to walk into your establishment to enjoy your eggs and country ham, gravy and coffee. Thank you.

RE: WH in Havre De Grace, Md and also in cecil County Md. So far the food I have received has been very good. My only comment is: Pecans in waffles, the price has exculated from 45 cents to 50 cents. Not so agnry over this as I am about the portions that go into the waffle. Seems the higher the price the less pecans that go into the waffles. come on gents, what is going on???
