Location Port Arthur, TX Jimmy Johnson Blvd Store. I have been going in each morning for breakfast for 1 week. I enjoy waffel house food,however. Complaints. 1 employees are unprofessional. grap talking like they are at the bus stop. 2 under cooked eggs. over med - does not mean with the whites running like snot, food poison, simonila ! 3 major problem, being sprayed down by the dish pit behind the bar while eating food. food gets contaminated. 4 The cook ignored the waitress, so she had to cook my food to get me out on time for work. This store needs a visit by the mistory guest. Clean it up / new Employees ? / New Manager ?

As i am traveling through Texas we stopped at the Waffle House in Marshall Texas i took pictures of the resturant there was grease all over the wall above where they keep the dishes and the refridgerator had filth all down the front of it looks like it hasnt been cleeaned in weeks there was dirt and mold on the ceiling from the air conditioner vents the return vent was mangle and full of mold and filth i dont know how they get a health dept passed inspection I was told the manager name is Jennie Neil being a resturant owner myself i find this being disgusting I took pictures of what i found and sending them to the local county health dept. to see if someone can clean the resturant up but truthfuly i dont see how they have business one of the servers said that they didnt have time to clean because they were so busy but at this time there was only 5 customers in the place i think it is lacking management or a manager that has any pride in her job just figured you needed to know

I came in at the Waffle House at 4:45 am for breakfast on a Tuesday before work. Date 2-21-12 It's a big tall black guy cook ,that told me I could not come in while he was here. I still spoke to everybody that when I do come in to eat. Saying good morrowing!! That cook has a personal problem with certain people. Everyone one else there tryes to get along with each other. He is very rude when you come in you will see what I'm talking about. Come in at the Waffle House on Riverside when he there as a coustomer. All I'm asking is to come by and take a look at what's going on. Hay, I still love the Waffle House, One bad apple , you know what I talking about. It still a great resturant ..... My wife and I are from put of town looking at the local real estate. We enjoy the Waffle House in Jacksonville NC, so we were pleased to see one located near our hotel. Needless to say it was the worse that we experienced. As we walked in no one greeted us. Then we stood at the entrance waiting to be seated but that never happened. During this few minutes waiting we witnessed a couple that had walked in just before us "bus" (clean) there own table as they had to seat themselves. As we tried to do the same thing the table we tried to seat at was covered in syrup, so we decided to leave and go down the street to another pancake house (big difference). As we left, we witnessed the couple that sat down before us had left as well. Please take corrective actions as this was not a good experience. I want to know how waffle house in Paducah, ky on Lone Oak Rd, still has it's manager, relief manager, and some of it's other employees, when it's been brought to the owners attention! They have been caught doing drugs right outside the back door, some of the employees come in stung out on drugs or drunk and even brag about it while out on the floor, some are drinking and/or doing drugs on the clock, and some are rolling their drugs or even doing deals right inside the store. It sickens me that the owner knows and has done nothing about it and none deserving people still have the higher jobs that they do! OPEN YOUR EYES WAFFLE HOUSE CORPORATE, YOUR LETTING YOUR STORES BECOME A NASTY JOKE, PLEASE FIX THESE PROBLEMS WITH DESERVING LOYAL PEOPLE

My Husband works for Waffle House in McDonough GA as a manager, I dont know how to get a hold of him, he runaway and abandoned me with another woman who works for Waffle House as well, he changed his number, I cant contact the restaurant anymore and he dont respond to my e-mails, he's been telling everyone he knows that our divorce will be finalized in a month when its all lies, he never did anything about it, he runaway and dont want to deal and pay for it. I am sorry I have to write this here, I have no choice, I am in Philippines my husband's name is Andrew Tucker.

In RE: Staunton VA location: First I want to say that the 1 star is NOT for the service or food, all of the employees, with Exception to Tiffany and Erica, are FANTASTIC! The 2nd shift cook always hooks our food up, thanks Charles! This complaint is in regards to the manager, Jennifer. never have I seen a more unorganized, uncaring, soulless woman. She has no regard for her employees health, saftey or personal situations WHAT SO EVER! One waitress had a brother pass and she was harassed about taking time off for her brothers funeral! Another waitress had to postpone her sons already postponed birthday party because her schedule was changed without her knowledge, and the 2nd shift cook..... AMAZING guy! This poor fella got hurt AT WORK the other night, refused stitches @ hospital so her could return to work to support his family and instead had his finger glued back together and still reported to work 2 days after!!!! This is what makes that store run, amazing employess. It is a good thing for Jennifer that her employees are so compotent, other wise she'd be exposed for the slacky she is, always hiding in the office on her cell phone. I honestly thing she needs to be demoted and propoerly trained. To the WH staff, with exception to the two named previously, KUDOS FOR YOU!!!!!

I am sitting in a waffle house as we speak. Although I do think the food is fresh and tasty. I am sicken that none of the employees wear gloves. Love the food but won't be back until they put gloves on.

i was reading a mission statment from the waffle house home site stating the mission is to deliver a unique experiance to customers by serving good food, friendly attentive services, and well if any body wants to know the rest they can go to www.wafflehouse.com and read it. i have read a bunch of comments from angry customers and ex employees and sadly i agree with what is being said. i reckon in waffle house eyes and minds "bigger comes befor better", instead of the other way around. Maybe if things changed and better improvements were made in these stores all around differnt states customers would enjoy coming back and experiencing the friendly atomsphere that it once had.

On 2-5-12 at 1:45p I went to the waffer house that's on College blvd in Baton Rouge La I sat down no one came to the table so I asked someone who was at the table next to me was anyone waiting on tables I was told that it take along time for someone to wait on them so I ask one of the workers is anyone working she said yes the worker was talking one of the workers was eating out of a bowl waffer house need to train the worker how to do the right thing because from what I saw this is a sad place to go eat at.

Let me just say this the reason why I stop going to the waffle house limiting how much pop or coffee after the 2 cup limit per person. Let me just say the store was not busy for attitude. I left waffle house on veterans day for the same reason But it came from Rico His way in saying it was we don’t hold your seat and threw my half my breakfast away. The platte city waffle house is pathetic. there are a few good employees there. But, this place employees 2 Regeatered sex offenders (pedophiles), druggies, I've witnessed attempted sales of drugs and been asked if I wanted to buy drugs by this employee and have complained more than once yet nothing was done. avoid at all cost!

On white settlement rd (west of ft worth) in Texas their cooker and servers are horrible! I had to send back to get it fixed 4 times. And now I got sick!

I was a recent employee of Waffle House for 4 years, and I quit due to the lack or poor and ludicrous upper management. But that's not why I'm writing...I'm writing because I had to call Waffle House corporate about where my W2 was to be sent. The lady who answered the phone, didn't even let me finish my sentence before she automatically directed me to another line...when I got to the tax department, the man was very short and impatient, almost like he's heard this a million times and didn't want to hear it again. I get it, you've heard this a million times, but DO YOUR JOB..that is why you are sitting at that desk in the first place. I just couldn't believe it. I honestly thought that it was just MY Waffle House that was incompetent and idiotic, but after reading all the reviews above, I see that it's just Waffle House in general. Readers, next time your store wants to charge you an extra .50 to separate the yolk from the whites, tell them to shove it. An extra two seconds of work isn't going to kill them. The minute I quit, I haven't stepped foot in a Waffle House since, and thankfully, NEVER WILL.

your resturant #342 at van buren ark. is the worst excuse for a buisnes i've seen in a long time. the heat does'nt work in the winter time. the employees are so cold they have snot dripping off there nose. it's not a one time deal. and further more people don't want to listen to a juke box while trying to eat.i hope you all get sued. i'm also going to turn your buisness into health dept. you all need to learn what soap and water is.

I wish you were able to visit my waffle house in Platte City,Mo. Most of the servers are great of course eveyplace has those that don't care about anything except the money they think the deserve not earn. Anyway I love going to my waffle each week in route to Dr. visit. There is a gal that has been there several years and she is something else. If she is serving she does a bang up job and shows she cares and always making people laugh. I have even seen her dance with customers.She makes my visit worth the trip.And if she is cooking she will start signing even gets the customers involved and she loves to dance just play a song. This is not a corporate store but I just had to let you know she is the best. So if you people that has assumed all stores are this way make a road trip and check Barb out.

unless you like fighting with ants and roaches for your food never eat at the waffle house on corner me market st in pascagoula Mississippi. The other store in pascagoula by walmart is a little better cutting manager is horrible and the district manager is worse. They treat good employees bad and the drugged out employees like gold. I worked there for 6 months and couldn't do it anymore. I refuse to work with drugged out people who sell it on property and cant work because they are so high. Pathetic. Dont go and def never work there save your money and time

I have been with waffle house for almost 8 years and still there but ever since i changed stores i have had nothing but grief there. I have been around other employees who get away with a lot of stuff and for example leaving early and not cleaning their stations. I have applied many times for management position and when my boss was let go I was told that I couldnt be manager because all I had was a high school diploma and than come to find out another employee also without a college degree somehow managed to get manager position. I'm so tired of the unfairness at my store and suprised we are still up and running considering the nastiness of the store, complaints from customers about their food being cold, and the lack of supervision in the store.

I worked for wafflehouse for just a few months when they went corporate in jeffersonville, IN. I felt like i was pushed out. The manager Cody Kech would cuss at employees and treat us like dirt. Not only that the 3rd shift cook did the same thing and try and argue with you on the floor when the house was full. It was so bad there that customers were asking me why i deal with getting treated like that. On top of all that i found a new job and put my 2wks in,well the cook hit my nerves so i ended up walking out and i felt he did it on purpose. Then on my separation notice he marked all this bull crap that was not true and then tried to not pay me for a meeting i attended. When i tried to get the cooperate number he snatched the pen from me and would give me one to right it down.
