New store request
Another request for a store here. You are the greatest, and we need your store in Murrells Inlet, SC. We are not a seasonal tourist area but a place where growth has grown considerably in the past years due to northerners moving here. Nearest stores are in Charleston, and in Wilmington,NC. We are 15M below Myrtle Beach, and halfway between those stores. Please, please consider a store in our area.
Lewes, DE Needs a Trader Joe's
Having recently moved to Lewes, De from the Washington, D.C. area the one shopping experience I miss very much is my local TJ's. The Lewes/Rehoboth Beach & neighboring beaches is the vacation spot for many affluent families (from the DC, Va. & MD areas) that shop at TJ's at home. It would be to TJ's financial best interest to invest in this area with opening a store here.

Absolutely LOVE Trader Joes....the only problem is there are none in my area! I would shop there exclusively if there were. All my neighbors and friends in this area feel the same way. There is a vacant lot right on the corner of HWY 99 and 170th in the Shoreline, WA area that needs filling..this would be a perfect location for those of us in the North Seattle area. Please consider this a new location for opening a new store and tap into a very high populated area to continue growing your fabulous company! We are all ready to give you oodles more business, this area needs you!!!
Open new store
I love all the products. Please open a closer store in our area. I live in Acworth. Ga 30101. Area of Mars Hill Rd. and Cobb Parkway, route 41.
Please, could you open a TJ's in The Landing, Renton, WA and/or Fairwood Washington 98058? Since I moved to Omaha, NE I have been buying at your store there and I love it. But in a few years I'll be moving back to Washington and would love to continue buying at your store. Thanks
Please come to Rhode Island
Dear Trader Joe's corporate office, There is no Trader Joe's in Rhode island. In the city of Providence there are 2 or 3 universities with students who would love to buy your healthy and reasonably priced foods. So many families that I know say that the nearest Trader Joe's is in Mass. If you are looking to expand on the east coast, please consider Providence Rhode Island as a new location. It will be a very busy store! Thank you for your consideration.
Parabens Cause Disease
On 22 Dec 2012, after hearing concerns from a breast cancer survivor, I stopped using Trader Joe's Moisturizing Lotion. Five days later, my endometriosis pain was gone, I was off pain medications, my abdominal exam was normal and I had restored bowel function. Parabens are preservatives made in India. They block hormone receptors, attaching themselves to the same. They have been implicated in many human cancers. Parabens should be banned from all human and animal products!
Trader Joes refuses to identify allergens in their food
Before we discovered the Feingold diet last year, my then 6 year old son was considered to be severely mentally disturbed and prescribed antipsychotic drugs. Now that we reomved artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives from his diet, he is off all psychotropic medication and acts like a model child. Your decision to no longer cooperate with the Feingold Association is disappointing. Due to circumstances beyond our control, many people are chemically sensitive. Your failure to cooperate in identifying products to accomodate this disability is abhorrent. It is unreasonable to fail to identify each and every ingredient used to create and process your products. You have no business selling things you want to hide and your parent company would not dare attempt such behavior in Europe. You are a corporate disappointment and we will be forced to spend more money each week at Whole Foods.
Sensible Advice
Let's first start by saying that our entire family loves Trader Joe's ! The products and staff are "Top Notch". My complaint is that the stacked bottle beverages that are at the end of aisles are an accident waiting to happen. I'm not takling the wine aisles , I'm speaking of the 5 case stacked high of sparkling juice , the random corner stack cases of liquid glass bottle of whatever, or in some cases the wine stacked too high on the corners . And the cardboard is all cut out except the underliner. I have tried twice to point this out to two different managers, however they do not see the common sense factor that these accidents waiting to happen just may involve a small child or anyone for that matter . My purpose of this writing is hopefully someone in corporate will also see this the way I do and write a simple e-mail or phone call to the various stores and fix this potential problem waiting to happen before the one time someone will get hurt from the 4 or 5 case high stack of glass bottles . In closing , this happened to me recently, only nobody was injured . Hopefully the two manager staff guys will get it once they are pursuaded to do this common sense practice . This is the ONLY thing wrong with my favorite food store! Oh...... and the parking. ha ha
Palm oil kills rain forests and orangutans
I recently attempted to buy several Trader Joe's brand items such as dog treats and cookies before I noticed so many of your name brand items contain Palm oil. If you don't realize the socially irresponsible impact of harvesting Palm oil does contribute to habitat loss for orangutans and deforestation , you seriously need to educate yourselves. And furthermore I won' t buy any products from you until this is corrected.
horrible experience
I was shopping at Trader Joes in Presque Isle Maine. I have shopped there in the past. This time I was followed around the store by the salesman. I felt very awkward aaaand I felt as if the salesman thought that I was going to steal something. I left the store without buying something.
baking gluten in stores
i really liked the trader joes in eugene, the gluten free selections are great. Lately they have been baking wheat toast, wheat noodles, wheat products and I have asked them to have a sign up warning their is gluten being baked. they refuse. I have gone in an started my shopping, and have totally gotten ill from the smell of baked wheat products and have had to leave the store without my food.
Dark Chocolate Lovers Butter Cream bars gone
I love Trader Joe's. But even my favorite store makes bad decisions it would seem. My favorite 99 cent Dark Chocolate bar has been discontinued I found out. NO !!! Most of my friends are dark chocolate lovers and love this little candy bar. When in stock it goes like hot cakes so I have trouble believing that it's not a great seller. I don't like the other bars. Trader Joe's is such a great place but you buyers are not paying attention to what sells fast in greater Seattle. Please consider bringing back the Dark Chocolate Butter Cream bar !!
I just have to say that the Trader Joe's in my community of Lake Oswego, Oregon is the friendliest store ever! The employees are so unbelievably cheerful that I often ask them why! It's as if they work at Disneyland! I can't tell you how many times I have seen an employee go out of his/her way to assist someone to their car, or into the store with the utmost of care. No matter how busy they are restocking, they never hesitate to drop what they are doing to help a customer. I see them smile, laugh, tease each other, hug, and encourage all while we customers happily go about our shopping. It's one of my favorite stops at the end of a long day. I often linger more than I should just to be a part of such amazing positive energy. Thank you so much!
Great employee
I have been shopping at your Woodland Hills store since it opened and pretty much stopped shopping at Ralph's and other markets. Your approach to the retail environment is amazing and well as your employees. Jeannette Ramsey is one reason that I shop at that store. She gives 200% each and every time I see her and has this beautiful smile that never stops. Since you expanded the store and have moved everything around she has guided me to to the products that I need. Jeannette has also recommended products that I have enjoyed with my family and your should be very proud of employees like her.

I love your products and everyone I know loves your products. So please help us! We live in Arlington, WA and the closest store to all of is in Everett, a 20 minute drive in good traffic. Once we get there, the Everett store already does not have enough parking. Please bring a Trader Joe's to the Arlington, WA area!!
