I love shopping at your store but its a long way for me to drive. I know alot of people that would love to have a Traders Joes on the south side of Indianapolis or better yet Greenwood Ind. Please take this into consideration. Sincerely Glenda Bitzer
Trader Joe's is wonderful! The prices are good, the clerks friendly and very helpful. The only disappointing thing is the discontinuations of certain things. I know that this is about availability, quality and affordability, but sometimes is just annoying, Here is the following: I was so sorry to hear that Trader Joe's fantastic and tasty Triple Berry Bran Muffin Mix has been discontinued. These healthy muffins are easy to make: 2 eggs and a cup of water, delicious and not overly sweet, high in fiber, low in fat and are great for breakfast or a snack. One muffin has only 3 weight Watchers points and mini muffins only one point. They make a great gift or bring along for pot lucks and because they only have 11 grams of sugar, one or two mini muffins make a good snack for diabetics. My husband who only eats certain kinds of sweets takes 2 - 4 of the minis I make for his lunches everyday. Sure hope TJs can bring these back. Demo them if they're not selling. They rock.
I Love Trader Joe's & have been shopping there for 32 years but why on earth is a 65 year old woman collecting carts in 113 degree heat at their Downtown Phoenix Town & Country store parking lot? It seems wrong. Don't you have more age appropriate jobs so shoppers aren't uncomfortable seeing this? It certainly does not reflect well on your company. I was concerned for her. What kind of company work ethic do you endorse? Don't you value your employees? She is obviously a very committed employee but if she collapses in your parking lot what then?
worst emploed and i can small weed
I love your store!! However, I live in Boise ID and we don't have a location here. I have shopped in many of your locations and always tell them how much we need a store here. In the next few weeks we have a Whole Foods opening here. How sad that they beat you to the area!!! Please come here asap. Gasoline is too expensive to keep trying to find Trader Joes where ever I go... Thanks...
Never used thier products, don't think I'll start. Sounds like they are full of b.s For starters - http://us.mg5.mail.yahoo.com/neo/launch?.rand=anj6osjd3090g Numero dos - On thier website they try and make it appear that there's no gmo products. Upon closer reading, thet are "working with thier vendors to make sure they keep the gmo products from being sold". Anybody at T.J's care to respond?
please come to fort wayne,in. please
I have written Hazel Bowman, customer relations person, who told me, to contact these stores for this birthday card I was looking for, no luck. I don't understand why I cannot order this card? only assorted packages have them, I was told that by Ms. Bowman. I did contact most of them, no luck. why, cannot I get this card from your store, what is the difficulty here? I am prepared to order a great deal of them, the card is a birthday card, it has a saying by Norman VIncent Peale, Live your life and forget your age. My friend sent it from orange county, she lives in Santa Ana. perhaps, that is why I cannot find this particular card here, in the southern california stores. Could you please help me on this matter please. thank you, sincerely, andrea gunderson Hazel said, no type of shipping or mail is accepted. How would you suggest I obtain this certain card, I certainly would appreciate that very much.
There seems to be quite a bit of false reports here, almost as if a competitor paid a company to generate disingenuous replies, and then produced a bunch of unsubstantiated claims mixed with bad grammar, spelling, and punctuation to make it seem real. There is more than an iota of misinformation here about Trader Joe's. As an employee of the company, I know we at times fail both in product and service. But there are a number of reviews here that are simply robot reviews, people paid by other companies to rate Trader Joe's poorly. In referencing it to Yelp, etc., the numbers don't match up. Nor does the incredible abundance of spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors make sense. References to the "rising prices" and "smaller packaging" is laughable. Unfortunately, food--raw ingredients, transportation, etc.--is not a constant but is influenced by a variety of economic factors. Trader Joe's does not raise prices unless it's suppliers do so. And it does diligently search out the best deals for quality and value. Ultimately, I'm confident that it provides the best quality to price ratio in the grocery business. I shop other stores, and when you're around products and prices constantly, you become good at comparative pricing. People complaining about the lag time in response from the "corporate office" is intriguing because in my dealings with both the "office" and customers reaction to it , it generally is expedited. Not to say things don't fall through the cracks, but I can honestly say I've never experienced a malicious instance of ignoring a complaint. To applicants who were not hired, and became angry over the internet, maybe ask yourself whether they discerned aggressive and defensive traits in you. Neither translates to a crew member receptive of feedback nor someone capable of dealing with customers having similar traits, or worse. And believe me, you encounter the whole gamut of humanity. As for crew member complaints about the ownership, salaries, & etc.--the owning family has never touched a penny of the earnings of the company. The retirement package is unheard of in the grocer industry, or anywhere. Health benefits are amazing. In my experience, if you're dissatisfied at Trader Joe's, you'll be dissatisfied wherever you work. In general, you work with cool people, deal with progressive customers, get paid well for what you do, and get unmatched perks. If you think you can do better, the door is always open. As is the door for feedback regarding improving the workplace. We get compensated very well for what we do. Don't think so, try one of the major publicly owned union stores. Regarding JV & jc, ostensibly the same person, I'm not quite sure how to read this complaint. Albeit, food poisoning can occur from a multitude of sources and takes varying elapses of time. More and more of these cases seem to be showing up from produce. One of the reasons TJ's discontinued alfalfa sprouts years ago: it's susceptibility to salmonella. Who would've thunkit? I'm not a high ranking official. I actually just believe it's a good company that does it's best to meet the needs of the community. Trader Joe's isn't always perfect, but I truly believe it tries to be the best both for customers and its employees.
I just love Trader Joe's, but unfortunately, the closest one is almost an hour away in East Liberty, Pittsburgh. My friend and I make our lists and try to get there every 4 to 6 weeks. How we would love to have a Trader's closer! Recently, a Shop and Save franchise closed on Route 30 in Latrobe, PA. This would be an excellent spot for a Trader Joe's to open up. I am sure the location would do very, very well, being situated in the heart of the Laurel Valley near Ligonier. I hope someone in the corporate office reads this and considers the opportunity!
please consider opening a trader joes in the tomsriver or bricktown area. i would like to shp there more often but have to travel toget to nearest one in shrewsbury. i think it would do well in this area thankyou
I would give 5 stars if TJ's had more locations. How about opening a store in the Hilton Head Island area of South Carolina or in Savannah, Georgia? There are a lot of educated, health-conscious people around there who would swarm into the store and buy, buy, buy!!! TJ's, I miss you!
They r too good to give a one 800 number or respond to emails but that's ok since they don't want to open up a store somewhere else I am going to start another store selling the same stuff lower prices and call it Trader Joeys. It's going to be up and running soon. Trying to get them to go bankrupt.

This is related to looking for a job @ Trader Joes in Pittsburgh, PA- specifically the store in East Liberty. I lost 1 of my jobs went to Trader Joe's seeking a job. I completer the form & returned it the 14th of June. I spe to Mike Cummings. A week later I called for update and he wasn't going to be in until Thursday 6/28/201 but talked to Alyssa who told me he'll call me on Thursday. Monday, the 25th of June I received the phony form letter claimuing "after careful consideration..." It said Yadd Yadda or Blah Blah they couldn't or wouldn't tell me which of my employers they spoke to or why they couldn't hire me.
Our Trader Joes in Stockton, CA is awesome! I lived on the east coast for years without a TJ, and my in-laws were in Southern CA so I was very happy when we moved to an area with TJ. I have never seen in the store--nor purchased--a perished product. The employees in our store on Pacific AVE are extremely client-centered, enthusiastic, and fast-moving (they all LOOK young even if they are not). My only question is that some of the date codes (particularly on some jars) are not easy to decipher, which is confusing. Currently I have a jar of Mango Ginger Chutney in my pantry with 23079 and 1133 (below it) stamped onto the side of the lid. Any idea what this means? Thank you for any help.
Willow, You are an idiot. Sorry TJ's doesn't meet up to your standards. You're welcome to shop at the other chains. TJ's is still higher quality and lower prices then most large grocery chains. Unfortunately, there are people like you who think that quality comes at a low price. You're the problem with America. I suggest you start a business and do a better job yourself.
Worst district manager ever
I would give anything if a Trader Joe's could open in the city of Walnut calif. I know that you would get great business. I am willing to drive, but the closest is approx 10 miles away on the crouded freeway. Please look at the area and consider. Thanks Kathy
Their system charged my credit card FIVE TIMES... I rushed back to tell them and they denied it. HORRID CUSTOMER SERVICE - SAN FRANCISCO OFF BRYANT ST.
