I am a very happy kroger employeey sometimes we might get a manager that is inexperienced or odd and employees have to deal with them until they are transferred so dont take your frustrations out on the employees we are doing as we are told and angry customers set our tone we have to smile while customers bash us because they are having a bad day so if in a bad mood stay at home and let us do our job and policies are set and ruined due to customer demands and abuse such as abusing coupons and etc how would you like for us to come to your job and act like idiots ugh yes customers make our paycheck and we make yours in some way.

Good morning. I feel terrible and it is because i had to transfer my medicine to another Pharmacy. I did tranfer to Kroger but did not know of anything but to bring my medicine bottle. I came back to pick up my medicine and Kroger have a coupon that states Get $25.00 in free groceries when you transfer your prrscription to Kroger. But i was not able to use it and it was because they do not accept it in Mississippi. but it is no where on the coupon that it is not valid in Mississippi. False advertising and i feel they should put it on the coupon.

This is the 2nd time I've written here and it will be the last. peoria ilinois madison park store has a mgr or whatever named kevin who denys me my beer purchase every time even though I am 48 thats FORTY EIGHT years old and you can CLEARLY TELL THAT by my GRAY HAIR! (I dont carry a wallet for personal reasons) Nice going kevin you idiot! I buy groceries for a family of 3 adults but, beacuse of your anal pratices, you just cost kroger several hundred dollars a week in sales. Hyvee is cleaner and the employees are much nicer anyway! I have been a loyal Kroger customer for years. I live in Ky and I usually go the kroger in Russell or Ashland. Today I went to the kroger in Russell. This morning I was shopping for personal feminine things and I was looking around the makeup isle and face wash. I had spent quite some time looking at the face wash because there's so many and so on. Well I had finally made a selection. While I was looking in the Wilde I noticed a blonde woman who worked there who had been watching me the whole time I'd been there! From the moment I got in the ailse. So I walked around the store to confirm my suspicions and I was right she was following me around the whole store and by now there was also a young man following me. I even heard her telling someone to call the police! So I was thoroughly pissed off by then and I walked up tothe young man and told him that I'm not an idiot and I know what's going on and that I would like to know why u all think that I've stolen or am trying to steal something. I showed him my purse and offered it to him to go through. He said no that's allright I see that u have not stolen anything he was actually very nice. So I asked him why I was being followed and he said it was because I had a big handbag. So I said basically u can't shop here in peace if u have a big purse? He said that the woman who had targeted me is very over zealous about this and basically has targeted innocent young women several times because we have large purses. He also told me that she was very wrong to have said to call the police bc they had no positive proof that I was stealing anything. I did not catch her name but I intend to call and complain until something is done about this crazy woman! So beware Russell kroger shoppers if u have a big purse and u are a young woman.

STORY OF THE DAY....A TRUE STORY BECAUSE I WITNESSED IT...IF YOU USE YOUR CREDIT CARD AT FRED MEYER TO GET GAS THEY NOT ONLY CHARGE YOU FOR THE GAS BUT THEN THEY FREEZE YOUR ACCOUNT UNTIL THE MONEY CLEARS...HERES THE STORY...A FRIEND AND I WENT TO TILLAMOOK OREGON FOR A JOB INTERVIEW...WE STOPPED AT FRED MEYER TO GET 20.00 WORTH OF GAS TO GET BACK TO PORTLAND...ON OUR WAY BACK WE STOPPED AT THE PHARMACY TO PICK UP HIS PERSCRIPTION FOR HIS HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE BECAUSE HE IS OUT OF MEDICATION...WENT TO USE THE CARD TO PAY FOR IT AND IT GOT DECLINED...SO WE WENT TO U.S. BANK TO FIND OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM...COME TO FIND OUT FRED MEYER FROZE THE CARD AND THEY PUT A HOLD ON 54.00 PLUS THE ORIGINAL 20.00 UNTIL IT CLEARS WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION AND THEY DON'T TELL YOU ABOUT EITHER...CALLED CUSTOMER AT THE STORE AND THE CORPORATE OFFICES...GOT TOO BAD SO SAD THATS OUR POLICY WITH U.S. BANK...BANK SAYS THEY WON'T RELEASE THE FUNDS UNTIL SATURDAY...MY FRIEND COULD FLIPPIN HAVE A STROKE OR HEART ATTACK BY THEN BECAUSE HE CAN'T GET HIS MEDICATION BECAUSE OF THIS....THIS ALSO HAPPEN WITH THE KROGER CHAIN...THEY ARE AFFILIATED TO EACH OTHER...SHOPPERS BEWARE...YOU SHOULD BOYCOTT THESE STORES UNTIL CHANGES ARE MADE IN THEIR DON'T GIVE A CRAP POLICY AND STOP THIS LUNACY...

On August 25th,2011 I called the Paris Tennessee, store to speak to Joe Turner the store manager as I was talking to him about 2 employees ne tells me to let him go to another phone as I wait thinking he"ll be right back he never comes back on line to finish the conversation I gave him both empleyees names up front in the conversation . I was accused by these employees of writing on the bathroom walls about 1 of them that I didn"t do and no there was no charges on me for that act of crime,but Joe appartenly isn't concerned to check into it.When I tried to call back to the store all I keep getting is a busy signal on the phone or I'm told he isn't available.I guess I'll go to WAL-MART AND COMP SHOP THE ADS IN THERE SALE PAPERS.

Kroger has been good to me over 30 yrs. Now I`de like to be good to Kroger . I would like to submit two new organic beverages to kroger. To whom shall I present these two products ? I BELIEVE THAT KROGER IS STRIVING TO DO ITS BEST AT PROVIDING QUALITY PRODUCT AT A FAIR PRICE. THERE IS ONE AREA IN MY PRESCOTT VALLEY STORE THAT COULD USE SOME ATTENTION. EACH TIME THAT I HAVE SHOPPED, I HAVE NOTED THAT THERE ARE ONLY TWO CHECK OUT STANDS OPEN THAT HAVE CASHIERS. THERE ARE A NUMBER OF FOLKS GOING THROUGH SELF CHECK OUT THAT DO NOT HAVE MANY ITEMS. CUSTOMERS WITH FULL CARTS ARE WAITING UP TO TEN MINUTES TO GO THROUGH LINES WITH A CASHIER. IF THERE IS NO INTENT TO FREE UP PERSONEL TO ASSIST WITH CASHIER RESPONSIBILITIES WHY NOT REMOVE UNUSED REGISTERS AND UTILIZE THE SPACE FOR ADDITIONAL PRODUCT? I OWNED A PROFITABLE RETAIL STORE FOR TEN YEARS PRIOR TO SELLING THE BUSINESS AND RETIRING. THE FLOORS IN YOUR STORES ARE CLEARLY FOR EASY MAINTENANCE. IT IS APPROPRIATE TO POINT OUT THAT THEY MAKE YOUR STORES LOOK DARK. STATISTICALLY, COLOR AND LIGHT SELL MORE PRODUCT. IF THERE IS EVERY A WAY TO MAKE YOUR FLOORS LOOK BRIGHTER AND CLEANER, I THINK IT WOULD HELP. THANK YOU.

I shop at the store in Davison, Michigan. (or at least I did) I learned just yesterday that a very nice young man who has worked at the store for many years and whom I believe to be very thoughtful and courteous, was fired because a customer was abusing coupons. What is wrong with this company? Instead of being in the retail food business, I believe them to be in the business of destroying good peoples lives. Why should a cashier be held accountable because Kroger can't get someone in the corporate office to program their computers not to accept the coupons customers are abusing?? If they have the ability to track every customers transactions, then why can't they program their system to track coupons??? I won't be back!!

The Kroger on Montrose, Houston TX. is run by morons! Went to get my registration sticker: Paid $65.00 and then the machine would not work. The girl was sweating stressing, the machine would work, an HP printer. You need to get rid of Hp, no good. The credited my account but it ill be tied up for days! i am so angry. That Montrose Krogers is always a mess , empty shelves and incompetent. Because I went to Houston Krogers Montrose, my bank account is tied up and I get no registration sticker! Thank you kroger!

I will never set foot in a kroger again. Katy Texas kroger is full of racist ignorant workers. I went in to the store and for one didn't find what I wa looking for after speakin to a VERY rude woman and FInALLy finding somethin that would work it was WAY over priced!( not too surprising for kroger ofcourse) I decided to go to walmart. Upon leavin the store a man and a woman aproached me they said I could not leave untill I showed them the inside of my purse(VERY embarassing) when I aske why they said bc it looked fuller then when I walked in!! Embarassed I told the man if he wanted to search my purse he needed to call the police. Once they showed up they searched and found nothing that didn't belong there! The cops then asked the employees to show the video survlience of me taking anything. So conviently they could not produce it they " weren't able to acess it at that time". Ofcourse they let me go but I'm not allowed back even though I took nothing an the cops even sided w me asking why they would say such a thing? I don't know but if your hispanic w tattoos and a big purse don't go to kroger in Katy,Texas!!!

I think the corporate office need to look at groveport,ohio kroger.The person that commented on the treatment of the works from the management is right.Lets see if corporate is going to do something to help out the kroger employee.You need new management to stop the bull.

I have called and sent tons of complaints to the kroger headquarters and even filed a complaint with ethic points about the company and still nothing. I live in Michigan and go tot he Davison Mich store regularly. One of the managers there her name is Tracy she is a evil woman she treats the employees so bad and the customers to she has a god complex and after speaking with many employees they have said she is a horrible boss and several employees have quit because of her I was also told that the store was suppose to send her to anger managment classes but have yet to do it. My son worked for Kroger for 2 days and was fired by Tracy for absolutley no reason her response was "BECAUSE SHE CAN" After revewing the handbook she did not follow protocal she was suppose to have four write ups before terminating anyone but again she feels she is above the rules. I really hope at some point the kroger headquaters will wisen up and fire her BECAUSE THEY CAN.... I will continue to shop there and will continue to complain to anyone and everyone until she looses her job.

This letter is for the store in Huntington West Virginia 1st 7th Ave.Store manager name is Steve Gandde.First of all my husband works there,he was told by steve he would be able to take a vacation on 17-23 of July.Well steve took his vacation the week before my husband was supposed to,there for steve did not put my husband down for his vacation, which I knew it was going to happen.Cause steve is the type of person if you don't have a pus between your legs and if you don't kiss his butt he will screw you and threaten you with your hours or be fired,and I know this for a fact cause I did work there.SO now our plans are shot thanks to STEVE GANDDE.And Krogers are supposed to be union HA HA a company union cause if it was a REAL UNION this shit would not even happen.But I guess it is ok with the corporate office since steve is aloud to get his brakes worked on while he supposed to be at work and yes I have him recorded him stating that he did.Secondly my husband gets shit on by office girls,which one of them is a coke head,the other one has stoled from there before(tracy) but yet she is allowed to work with other people tills.But steve covered that up good managing skills huh.The head office person"head cashier Freda Bays" gets to leave when she wants,take a hour lunch etc...The funny thing about that is she can't even run the till very much without asking for help,now thats the person I want to ring my stuff up.SO if you know anybody who wants a job DON'T WORK AT KROGERS.I can go on for hours about what steve,freda,tracy,and others had done to him but after reading this you can imagine what else.THE RATING IS 000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

You have one of the best blue cheese dipping sauces that i have ever tasted. I understand it is being discontuned.I was going to recomend that you supply the ROOSTERS resturants with this dipping sauce. There`s is no match. Your dipping sauce would boost their sales. thanks columbus/ bexley

My Husband just interviewed with the Kroger Corporation at one of their distribution center, and was offered a position as a supervisor. He has has a Bachelors Degree and seventeen years experience in his chosen field and has been very succesful reaching a salary over 100k a year. Kroger offered him the position for the first 90 days through a temp agency for $15 an hour! He couldn't believe what he was hearing. They said at the end of the 90 days if he had proven himself as a commodity, he would be brought on as a regular Kroger employee. The distribution center feels this is the best way to find quality management. I'm not sure what business minded person would take a gamble and a pay cut to maybe get a job. Seems like Kroger wants quality people for nothing. He obviously rejected the job. If this is their hiring tactics they will never get the quality people in to help turn the distribution center around. It is understable why the distribution center is failing. In addition to that they just lost two loyal Kroger customers.

I worked at kroger from feb 1984 to Feb 1998 14 or 15 years, and I got sick, not only that the manager fire me because of his otter charge of what he wanted intimdate me. of his curelity act. which is unlawfully. I went to Texas Employment office and told of the situation, maybe I should have went to the unions. But at the time, I was so hurt I just thought that was the best thing to do. but neverless. I wonder If I'm going to get my retirment. Because I accept it as I retired. This is in Dallas Texas, One of your Kroger Store that been shut down, or moved to another location off from forest Lane and Marsh Lane. And when I used kroger as once employer I put down I retired, because Kroger did offer me my job back, but I refuse and retired. Kroger is not a bad place to work, I enjoy being an employee there until that one time experience. Before that particular time, Kroger was verly reliable and make me feel like a family. It was just s new manager came in was racist and in experience. But I'm sure Kroger handle the situation. So If you got a problem with Kroger Store. then you must get to the manager or the union, or corpoation and I will assure that they will get to the bottom of the problem. i am writing to file a complaint against the canton,illinois krogers.i went to work there in may of this year to be trained as a meat cutter.i was let go even before my 30 days was up,and was treated poorly by the dept. manager.from the first day i started,all she did was critize me on everything i did,and complained about everything.also,when i would ask her questions trying to learn the cuts of meats,she would reply with,look in the book with a mean tone in her voice,or say something like,you should know that by now.i mean come on now.i was supposed to be trained in one of the hardest jobs to do in a supermarket,and i think i was shown maybe a total of two hours in 26 days of work how to cut meat.thats not fair to me.how can you learn something,if you arent being trained or showed how to do it?i felt like they threw me under the bus,and let all four tires run me over,and then back it up and did it again.they left me and my family without an income coming in,and the worst part was,my wife had to give up her job so i could take the job there.they were both poor in their training,and not understanding that it takes time to learn a new craft.i will never take a job in any meat dept at a krogers again.i also thisnk the corporate office needs to do better to see people are properly trained,and not snapped out on when they are asking questions to learn their job.point blank,the training at the canton,illinois kroger for the meat dept sucks,and they need to improve it,or get a manager in there who will work with people better,and not someone close-minded and mean.

To Kroger Complaint Manager, I have been a frequent shopper at Kroger of Monroe in Monroe, MI for dozens of years and have enjoyed that experience in all of that time with one exception. I am responsible to return the bottles and cans which we collect at work for our Adopt-a-Family fund in which we help needy families or organizations annually. I have experienced on several occasions times when the bottles and cans room has equipment failure which causes long lines to develop in front of the meat counter and has stretched almost to the produce section. Because I do this often I know that you have to go ask someone (usually repeatedly) to get assistance. I have waited many times over 20 minutes in line. Today was like most others, waiting in the line. I left my cart and looked in the room where one boy waits by a machine reading “Stop” for his one little slip, this was holding up a very long line. I again talked to people behind the counters who again paged “assistance to the bottle room” five times!!! I waited 45 minutes to get my turn in line, and the boy was still waiting for his slip, so help had come! I went up to the machine and started putting in my bottles when suddenly, my machine started kicking the bottles back and printing a slip every few bottles then stopped. I believe that the employees, who didn’t have time to help, were messing with me! I yelled behind the wall that it was the machine furthest from me that needed help, that mine was working! But my machine stayed off, and the boy still waited. I was so furious! I stormed out of that room and up to the cashier asking who the manager was. She pointed him out and as I walked over to him he started walking away. I shouted, “Are you the store manager?” He stopped and turned towards me. As I was approaching him I said, ”You need to do something about that bottle room…” and before I could complete my sentence he started walking away from me and said he WOULD PAIGE SOMEONE! As I tried to catch up to him I told him, “People have been paged 5 times and I have been waiting 45 minutes. I want my bottles taken care of right now!” I said “There are 4 people in the area behind the meat counter and three near the eggs! This is bullshit and I’m pissed off”. His response was that he was not putting up with me swearing at him and he pointed at the door demanded that I leave his store immediately or he would call the police! I didn’t get his name but he was the store manager at 4:30 p.m. 6/28/11. I couldn’t believe this was happening! I shouldn’t have “swore”? Is “pissed off” and “shit” considered swearing anymore? Does it warrant kicking out a long time loyal customer in front of everyone in the store?!!! Really??? Maybe if he would have tried to let me tell him what was going on and even tried to listen I wouldn’t have been so upset! Do your managers get any training in handling upsetting situations? I wasn’t screaming and ranting, both hands were on my cart because I was trying to follow him and get him to listen instead of walking away! I raised my voice because he kept walking away while I was trying to talk to him! I didn’t even get to cash in the three slips I had for bottles, one for $0.50, one for $2.00, and one for $0.10, I didn’t even get to get his name. I was so pissed off, hurt, embarrassed, and humiliated I don’t know if I can even show my face in that store again!!! I have friends who work there, I’m known in the community for my volunteerism, this was devastating to me! I called your 800 # and left a complaint, but I want to be sure someone gets the whole story so you can check into what the culture problem at the Monroe store is and get it fixed. I saw today that these problems start at the top! The employees are modeling their superiors! How hard would it be to have a person designated to check the bottles and can’s area every 20 minutes? Or make the page to the bottles and can’s area a priority!? Make someone responsible so that consequences and accountability apply! This is not only an inconvenience to the people waiting to return, but to the customers having to finagle around them to get to the products you are trying to sell!! How hard would it have been for him to have said, “I’m sorry you are having this problem, come over here and we can get it resolved right away”. Something to that effect could have stopped the whole experience from happening! How can this be resolved so that I am not embarrassed or fear retaliation at this store? I want to be contacted by someone who can make things happen! Regrettably, Dissatisfied customer.
