i was a kroger employee for 13 years..between loss prevention Antonio and Damien in michigan they treated me so bad...accused me of stealing.Which i never stole anything in my life.Never had nothing on tape to accuse me of but management Chris turner and Tom endlin went along with it.it really suck to have people in the world like them.kroger lost a very good employee..and when karma hits....i feel sorry for them.and they set me up to have a customer come in and steal 10.20 worth of bottle slips off my register ...so they can terminated me...but it all good..cause i have god in my corner.kroger mi 669 store
im a employee at kroger been working there for 6yrs im only getting 16 to 20 hrs a week i come on time an work over when they are short now im in hrs trouble an they are not letting me go full time why i love my job but if i cant get any more hrs i must go because kroger is not right my mangers dont know how to run a store they favor new comers an its just not right i have 7kids who can make it on 16 hrs.
I was an employeee with kroger going on a year, worked in the deli and was one of the best they had. A new manager came along and was one of the biggest assholes I had ever met in my life. I was going to school full time and when it came down to me missing a test for school or being late for work, I choose school which eventually led to me being terminated. People always try and push school on kids, but want to punish them for the stupidiest things. KROGER SUCKS, GO WALMART !!!!!!!!
I attended the Krogers in Cleves, Ohio. I was wanting to purchase Ritewrap Deli paper (used in the meat department). As a teacher, these items are other stores have often donated a box for classroom use (it is great as tracing paper in geometry classes). I spoke with the meat department and asked if I could buy a small box. He wasn't very helpful and instead ripped off the label on the box and said this is what you need. I then decided to go to the customer service desk to see if a manager could help me. They were very busy today. One Manager was dealing with a money order and another came to assist (probably the csr). She was helpful and got, who I believe to be the store manager to come over. The store manager allowed me to explain what I needed it for and I told her I would be willing to pay 10 dollars for a small box to use for school. She walked me back in the back, after waiting patiently in line for ten minutes. I showed her and she said nope. Now, I worked in retail since I was fourteen years old at IGA and then at Biggs hypermarked for about 10 years. I know very well that good customer service is willing to assist. I have been to stores that have donated boxes to schools. I feel that my question was overlooked, neglected and pushed to the side for lack of 'importance'. The manager was short and unwilling. Now that I am a teacher I look back and think, something so small has me so angry because I look at the commericals and think---really, they cant help a school. Now I would understand if they were unable to sell it becasue they actually went to the back and knew they were low etc. However, there are ways around these types of things. I am very disatisfied with the lack of assistance I received. I am not willing to leave my phone number on a blog or address. However, I am sure if you called Krogers in Cleves they would be able to tell you who I am. Customer Service was very poorly handled today.

10/31/2011 I want to file a customer's complaint on the store manager in Canal Winchester (store #851). I have called the Kroger Corporate office @513-762-4000 several times and left messages. They advised me to call Kroger in Columbus Ohio @ 614-898-3200. I spoke to Tashia or Latisha at the switch board and left three messages for the District manager of Canal Winchester to call back. Nobody ever called back. The reason I wanted to file a complaint against the store manager is that on Sept 10th, 2011 my husband & I went shopping at Canal Winchester Kroger store located 6095 Gender Rd. When we left we saw the store manager Ray got into his car. I was driving & my husband was the passenger. I saw Ray followed us home, I asked my husband why Ray would follow us home he thought maybe he was doing gas run checking prices at different gas stations in Canal Winchester. As we got closer to home I decided to change my route & see if he would follow us home. He was still following us... I changed the route again & noticed he stopped following us. As we started headed back home we both saw Ray sitting on the corner of Waterloo Street & High Street. We couldn't figure out why he was parked there. We turned around & drove different direction to get home. As we headed through the alley to our house we saw Ray's car again driving through the alley & passing our house... I am not sure what I would have done if my husband wasn't with me at the time Ray follows me home. The next time Ray does anything like that I will make sure I take it to news media... I want to file a harassment charge against him. Then about a week ago I was in the grocery store getting some groceries & saw Ray was yelling at several employees how they are not doing the job while customers are in the store. I don’t understand why Ray had to yell all the employees in front of several customers I think it very rude. I wanted to make sure Ray's manager be notified & wanted someone to call or email with an apology... We are ashamed that Ray is store manager in Canal Winchester. 1/11/2012 I wish to file another complaint against the store Manager Ray Simpkins @ KROGER 6095 Gender Rd in Canal Winchester, OH. for harassment & discrimination against our son. We had told all our friends not to shop at Kroger; you lost the most value customers we had witched our prescriptions to someone else that value us. We don't appreciate that Ray said some things that was not true. I am filing law suit against Kroger & against Ray Simpkins. I am taking to 6 on your side to the news media to let everybody know how much Kroger store manager how he likes to harassed customers.
I worked for Kroger for approximately one year. I was the best they had in loss prevention. I was investigating upper management and to loss prevention managers for theft and fraternization with Kroger employees. Ther Loss prevention managers found out I was investigating them and called corporate and made up lies and set me up with a female they were intimate with in St Clairsville, Ohio and had her make up stories about me. They called me in for my yearly evaluation where I thought I was going to get a raise an an award for the most productive LP in their history and they they gace me a package and terminated me and gave me severence pay for they knew I could file a law suit. There organization allows managers to exploit there female employees and fire those who hold them accountable. I can tell you now that almost every female in this organization can sue the company for sex discrimination. And if the unions contact me I will advise them what really goes on in the investigations and the untruths that the managers maintain.
I worked almost full time and attended school fulltime. When I graduated college I needed a vacation. So on January 1, 2012 I started my vacation. When payday comes, I did not get my vacation pay. So I asked for an advance. The Bookkeeper questioned me and bluntly said I made a mistake, I got paid. I repeatedly told her I did not get vacation pay. Then out of sheer anger I told her I just finished college I ought to be able to look in my profile to see if I got a vacation pay coming. Today I called to remind her that I didn't get paid. She still insisted I got paid. So I said, maybe you need to call someone. I have worked for Krogers and this is going into my seventh year. I get two vacations. When I notified her I got the payroll number, the corporate headquarters and a few other numbers. She still insisted that she turned it in and I would get paid. Come Thursday if I don't get my vacation pay, I will be calling. As for the dumb dirty blonde she needs to be replaced because she should called the first time I told her I did not get paid. Now I have two weeks vacation, 1 personal day. I should not have to spend my vacation irate and pissed off because of stupid people who don't care to pick up the phone and ask somebody if they don't know.
I have been a loyal shopper at a kroger in Michigan for over 5 years now. My husband is an employee there now. I am very sickend, appalled, angry and just Damn Mad. Kroger did not offer there employees any Thanksgiving or Christmas Gift Certificate, Turkey, Ham, money or anything, then have the nerve to pay a 51 year old man $7.00 per hour. What is wrong with this picture. Wow! Cheap asses. You have lost a valued customer. All the freaking money these stores make.

Just went Krogers on south high.. I bought some stuff and $175.00 worth of gift cards. When I got to the car I could not find the gift cards so I went back inside and the cashier didn't have. After waiting in line for customer service they just took my name and number and said they would turn it over to security. I wanted to see a Manager who said that it was the policy. Well I was just robbed $175.00 . Why couldn't you stop payment on this.. look at camera footage to see what happened to the cards.. That's it I'm just out... I will never step foot in another Kroger store again. I also tried to call Corp. Offices only to get the run around and be on the hold for hours.. Thanks a lot Krogers. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too. Giant Eagle has better fuel perks anyway!!!!!!!

I dealt with Kroger for several years. My perscription bills came to several thousand dollars a year, alone, besides groceries I bought. When questioned about cents off for gasoline for my perscriptions I was told since I was on Medicare I couldn't get this. Since then I have found out that even some of the Kroger stores with other names gives cents off for gasoline for perscriptions. Just wanted them to know they no longer have my business. I live in a retirement community and will let everyone know not to deal at Kroger Pharmacies.

Your Sunday ad for Thanksgiving has a turkey for $.49 for Honeysuckle turkey. However in the very small print "pay additional $25.00. Next to this same ad you have in larger print "Shady brook Farm Turkeys $1.49 with card. Hey, I could go to the commissary.Krogers is only a convenince for me. I will send a copy of this ad to US Armed Forces immediately. For 9 years now you have ads to get people in the store ONLY. Farm Fresh in Virginia Beach is the right and best place to go.
I shop in Hurst Tx, and also in Ft Worth, and North Richland Hills. I stopped shopping at Kroger's when they stopped doubling/tripling coupons. It is bad enough that they raised prices,and stopped doubling/tripling---but when the cashiers act like you are stealing from them when using valid coupons, enough is enough! I play by the rules, and I do not deserve being treated poorly because I use coupons. No, I did not spend all those years in school just to defraud Kroger of 50 cents. Your rude cashiers,acting like the coupon police, have driven me to spend my money at Target, Tom Thumb, etc.....there are LOTS of choices in the DFW area---oh, and Wal-Mart price matches. Buh-bye.
I am currently employed at a krogers in west virginia, a few days ago I began to have a panic attack in the store, I told the front end managers, and they ignored me, told me to take a pill and sent me to the bathroom for 20 minutes before I almost went into a seizure state and I had to contact my parents since the front end manager refused to do anything about it. Krogers sucks, plain and simple.
I would rate lower if I could. This is mainly for the racist, immature, bias manager that is working there now. His name is MATT NOBLE!!!! For some reason, he found his way into management. Probably because corporate US thinks military bigots make good leaders...think about it..the US military trains them to be 'good' followers...but the companies we all work for think they make 'good' leaders. He made remarks about my asian wife that I don't even want to repeat. If I could talk to somebody in the company that matters I would say all this to them...but they don't care! I worked there!!! I will soon post all this and the truth about him on social networks and more if something isn't done!!!!! He doesn't deserve to scrub toilets, let alone 'manage' a store!! The words 'yellow', and 'sideways' should never come from a manager!!! I don't work for this company ONLY because of him!! FIRE MATT NOBLE!!!!!!!!!!
I have worked for many companies....Kroger is the worst....I mean the worst company I have ever worked for. They have managers that should who should be behind the scenes..back where the trash bin and cardboard bin is where they are neither seen nor heard...This company is all about making money...to hell with the employees. I worked in KY and TN and they are all the same!!! In all those stores, I have found only one manager..Douglas Wolz...who was even worth mentioning. About Mr. Wolz...oh well I'm glad u asked, you see they transferred him to one of their dump stores...why? because he treated the customers and employees with respect...Kroger CEO Dave Dillon should go undercover to see how the managers treat the employees and then go back to his polished position and not have a change of view!!
