I have purchased in the past at least three pairs of Skechers and been totally satisfied. The last (4th) pair I bought, however, were a huge disappointment. I realize that I cannot adequately describe them by email. They were black with a velveteen-type covering on the top. They were in the style of flats and had a single strap which extended across the shoe. The size was 9. The information in the shoe indicates it was made in China. I bought them somewhat hastily awhile ago. I wish I had taken longer and looked more closely. they are not comfortable and cannot be worn for any length of time. There ssems almost no padding on the bottom of the shoes and the sides feel little thicker than cardboard. I went to wipe out a minimal spot on top of the shoe and the black color came off on a Kleenex! I am quite disappointed in the quality. Is it the "made in China" labe? Or a policy of cheapening the quality? I am giving up on the shoes and will think twice or three times before getting another pair of Skechers.

I purchased a pair of skecher steel toe work boots from Bob's store in central MA. at a retail price of $79.00 and with in 7 days the seams started to split and fall apart I could not return to the retailer because they were worn outside. I am a waitress that works 10 to 12 hour shifts. I bought your shoes because they advertised less foot pain. since wearing them I can hardly walk without pain. It is because of the shoes and I would like some sort of compensation. I paid 120.00 for them and they have damaged my arches and toes. would like money back or will join class action law suit. I've gone through TWO pairs of skechers work shoes in the past 5 months. The first pair falling apart I hoped was a fluke. The second immediately started splitting at the seems after 1 week. Spending $100 on a pair of shoes that last a number of days is completely unacceptable. I've advised all my coworkers to no longer buy your product.

My feet and I thank you. I have a lot of foot pain when I stand a lot. I have been looking for something to help . I tried on a pair of shape-ups and now am able to out shop my doughter . Guess I will never buy sketchers.

My son absolutely had to have the Sketchers light up shoes. I hesitated because of the hefty price, but he really wanted them, so I bought them. The very FIRST time he wore them the right shoe stopped lighting up. He cried and cried, not understanding why they were broken, so we took them back to the Super Shoe where I was told they could not be exchanged, even for the same shoe, in the same size. Frustrated, I took the shoes home where my son wont wear them, but "plays" with the one that actually works. Yesterday my 3 year old niece was over playing and i noticed her chewing on something. To my horror, she had a light cover from these shoes in her mouth, and it was big enough to choke her!!!!! Its one thing to rip people off with junk shoes, but when they are a danger to our children that is where I draw the line. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and filed a report. I will be on a personal campain to make sure everyone knows the truth about this company and your JUNK SHOES.

I bought a pair of Tone ups and they are the worst shoes you can buy for $80+. I wore them and then had terrible foot pain. Was unable to receive a refund since i wore the darn shoes. How else is one suppose to know if you are going to be comfortable in these shoes. Those shoes made me walk like I was pigeon toed!

My husband bought a pair of shoes for my daughter from the Skechers outlet in 5085 Westheimer Houston when he was on a work trip there. We were horrified to learn that the sales assistant at the store there had packed not a pair but two shoes fitting the right side of the feet, and in two different sizes. This rendered the shoes useless unless one has two right feet in two differnt sizes. That was just the beginning of the agony. Numerous emails were sent to the Sketchers contact us email site highlighting this matter and there has not even been a single response stating that the matter will be looked into, etc. IT HAS BEEN MORE THAN A MONTH!!!! Talk about after sales service. Firstly, the service itself left much to be desired and secondly, there has been no after sales service for a mistake made by the sales assistant.

Dear Skechers USA 12/17/10 Our pairs of Skechers saved our lives! In July of this year, when I received my first Social Security check, we drove out to "The Finish Line" store at Victory Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, California to buy our first pair of Skecher Shape Ups. We had already searched other stores for imitation-like versions of your shoes and found them to be of lesser quality. The people at "The Finish Line" were courteous and satisfied all of our questions. We live in the mountains in the Arrowbear/Running Springs area and walk 3 to 6 miles a day. We have walked the same route now for five years and never have had any trouble. In fact, we carry a plastic bag filled with "Milk Bone" dog biscuits to give to the local dogs we pass during our routine. However, on this particular day, there were two large dogs running free around the neighborhood, which caused the three neighbor's dogs, located across the street, to go barkingly mad. The dogs barking madly were locked behind a fence. However, once the dogs running free had been placed in their house by their owner, the three barking dogs suddenly broke threw their wooden fence and headed straight towards us and then, viciously began to attack. There were two Rottweisers and one Pit Bull. Once they began attacking us. I used self defense kicks and punches to keep them off of me which helped a little bit, though, wasn't the final answer to our problem. At one moment when I kicked the Rottweiser, I slipped on a grooved tar part of the street and went down to my knees, and that's when all three dogs jumped on me. I bought a pair of sketchers Shape-ups. They cost me 390 Dhs. I find them extremely uncomfortable however I am having much pain in my hips and thighs and down my left leg to my knee. I have pain. alot and i thought this would help me. However, This hip pain and thigh pain has been since I wore these shoes. I truly believe that this pain is from these shoes. Hey Skechers, my name is Gene. I am a fire fighter in the Dallas Fort Worth area. This letter is a love hate letter. In the first of Aug 2010 I purchased a pair of white skecher shape ups. I loved them. Therefore I purchased a pair of black leather shape ups. They were so good I purchased a third pair of suede shape ups for working off duty. I am 55 years old and work with 300 other firefighters. As I bragged about how wonderful these shoes were I actually sold 10 or 12 pair to my buddies. Man they were great. Well it was approximately one and one half months later. I started feeling ankle pain every time I wore my shape ups. I noticed that the shoes were not able to keep my ankles secure because they were braking down to the outside causing my ankles to fold outward. Well I am a big boy about 275 lbs. Well after a few more weeks I could not wear the shapeups any more due the breaking down of the outside. I wore my my leather shoes at the fire station. While on a vehicle accident I turned my ankle causing me to be off duty for three weeks. Well with the investment of of nearly $400.00 About 3 years budget of shoes for me. lol I started working on the suede shoes trying to figure out a way to brace them up so that they would support my ankles better. Well after applying a plastic brace on the outside and drilling holes in the inside sole(not the bottom). By the way the outside plastic support worked great but could not keep in place with glue, needed to be built into shoe. The drilling of the inside helped a little. It seems like to me that to much support on the instep and not enough support on the outside. Well needless to say I hav apologized to my firefighter buddies and cannot wear my shoes any more. I dont believe in law suits. I am just hoping Skechers will step up to bat and replace these shoes and also use my input to create a better shoe

The shoes are great for the concrete floors I work on every day. However, they're poorly made. I bought 3 pairs to rotate for use 5 - 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I've had one pair restitched (tennis shoe style) once, but they need it again. The leather ones (one black leather pair and one Skechers for work black leather) are horrid and cannot be fixed. The leather splits, the sole comes apart from the shoe, and the toes have holes in them. I own one additional pair for home - a nubuck pair that I'm waiting to see how long it takes them to fall apart too. At about $100 a pair, this is absurd! Try contacting customer service!!!! That's a joke. Maybe buying the Avia or other brands is the way to go. While the Skechers are comfortable, they end up being worthless if they fall apart faster.

I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED TO SEE SKETCHERS ADVERTISES ON THE TV SHOW "KENDRA" ON THE 'E' CHANNEL. A SHOW THAT GLORIFYS A WHORE WHOSE ONLY CLAIM TO FAME WAS SLEEPING WITH HUGH HEFNER FOR MONEY AND A PLACE TO LIVE...GREAT ROLL MODEL !!! I WONT BE BUYING ANY SKEETCHERS FROM NOW ON

I believe your shoes have mangled my feet are the reason I'm seeing a podiatrist @ a wound nurse for the past 3 months @ for @ least another 2 months. Then I will have an operation to correct the damage.

I've never been a "sneaker person". I've owned my Shape-ups for a year now and I truly love them. I just bought 2 more pairs. I have sciatica from time to time and wearing my Shape-ups makes the pain go away with no ibuprophen! Notice I've said: "MY" Shape-ups. I'm so happy I own them and wear them. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Not only do they help me feel better, they are like personal trainers and encourage me to walk...walk...walk!
