Exactly how many times will this company continue to harass and abuse their customers before something is done. Is there no human being who will handle customer complaints with an eye toward resolving issues rather than attempting to appease for a week or two then resuming the abuse of people who are making their payments on time, every time? This needs to end.

Rent a center is sorry they told me and my fiance that after the 90 days was over with the remaing balance wud be double now he tryn to say the whole price doubled. We were at 72.00 at the 90 days now she sayn its 562.00 due that's bs and they are some rip offs for sure.

I rented a washer dryer& a tv stand my wife lost hours at work and called them to come get the items while picking up the items they knocked ofer their dolly and broke a 2 1/2 ft statue my father had bought 2o years ago he past in 2001 to us it was priceless it also broke face off a $600 speeker and my ps3 was ontop speeker fall over and cracked corner of it and now has a rattle this lady carol @ delaware oh rac has been nothing but rude and basicly calling me a lier about ps3 because it dident fall all the way to the floor the statue her guys said they cracked it . It was in 2 pieces . This is the most disrespectfull. People I have ever delt with. Don't deal with these people go to aarons . Oh yea their offering. $130 for what they broke. Minuse the ps3 damage

I purchased a bed from RAC in Plano. They had my account screwed up from day one. I made all of my payments and the store manager, Terri still harassed me because I didn't pay them when they called me because they had the account messed up. She then called and threatened to come to my job because I refused to talk to her anymore. Now if this is the way they handle their customer issues then I will never recommend them to anyone. She is one of the rudest managers I have ever encountered. I hope upper management reads this because if she comes to my job I will pesronally let them know.

We just moved and made arrangements for them to pick up our washer and dryer. Not only did they not show up on when they said but they let themselves into our CLOSED garage didn't shut the water off and flooded our garage. I called them and they said the garage door was opened and it was not. HORRIBLE public relations and business practices. I was one day late on a payment and they harassed my references.

About 14 years ago i rented some electronic equipment from rent a center in Yakima Washington. After paying on this for awhile the item in question was stolen and I reported to the store. After a while I received notification that this was going to collection for payment. I was not pleased that they were going to make me pay for something I did not have in my possession. After sending it to collection I paid on it for awhile and then I was unable to pay on it due to my having to pay child support. Now after stopping the payments to the collection company which was in 2002 they are trying to collect. The statue of limitations to try to collect a debt is 6 years for written contract, 3 years for an oral contract. I hope to hear from regarding this matter. I am trying to reestablish my life and with things like this happening to me. Thank you Raymond C. Jones Jr

I LIVE IN FLAGSTAFF ARIZONA. I HAVE NEVER FELT SO MUCH TURMOIL AS I DO NOW. I FIRST RENTED A COMPUTER FROM YOU ESTABLISHMENT AND I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH IT. I THOUGHT MAYBE I COULD BUY MY DAUGHTER A BEDROOM SET ALSO. THEY DELIVERED IT OKAY,BUT THEN THEY FORGOT THE DRILL AND WERE'T QUITE SURE HOW TO PUT THE MIRROR ON. THEN IT TOOK ME ABOUT A WEEK FOR THEM TO COME AND ATTACH MY DAUGHTERS MIRROR AND WHEN THE MAN CAME HE HAD TO BURROW A BATTERY FOR THE DRILL FROM MY MAINTAINECE MAN. AND WHEN THEY FINALLY CAME TO PUT THE HEADBOARD ON THE BED THEY DRILLED HOLES IN THE HEADBOARD,THIS HAPPEN A MONTH AGO AT LEAST. NOW THEY ARE TRYING TO CHARGE ME OVER $600 DOLLARS. I AM ON A FIXED INCOME AND I CAN PAY $00 A MONTH BUT WITH THE RATE HIKE I WILL HAVE TO GIVE EVERYTHING BACK. NOW WHO WILL THAT HELP? If I could rate you guys it would be a big zero. I have rented a t.v from you for almost a year now. I recently lost my job so I set an appointment for it to be picked up. I had to leave town for the weekend so My daughter was taking the time to be their and they didn't show up but instead a 2:30 called to remind me about my payment. She told him that I had scheduled it for pickup in which the guy very rudely told her I had not. I will never rent from you and hope that people who might be ware of the harassment and how they will be treated, Obviously Corporate only cares about money otherwise they wouldn't charge to twenty-five dollars to file a complaint. Also when they he finally did show up he continued to be rude.

i rented couch love seat 90 days same as cash i paid 2 weeks on it but right befor a payment was due i called told them i be in next week an pay 2 weeks an they said that be fine well few days later i got a eviction notice so i had 10 days to move i caleed rent a center talk to young guy told him they need to come out pick there stuff up an to do it asap cause i haft to be gone and that it be on porch but to make sure an go early cause the landlord will have it hauled off so now ive moved there leaving me messages an demanding me to come in make payment or broing there stuff back its not my fault they didnt go get there stuff like i told them i dont even think the dumass that answered the phone even put it in system to come out

This Company SUCKS !!! When a manager will slam the phone in your ear u know u have trouble, I called to check on a payoff balance for a friend and the store manager,Brian Emmen at the RCA store on Irby Street in Florence SC was very RUDE and the most unprofessional person I have ever spoken with. When I called back right away you know he wouldn't answer the phone he had someone else answer and you could hear him in the background yelling. I asked for the Corporate number for RAC they refused to give it 2 me said I had to go online and get the number !

Oh, by the way Easy Rentals is the best. The best at damaging my apartment walls with no intent to fix. The smile in your face until its time for them to pick up merchandise because you can't foot the bill . My Gid look at the economy, people must sacrifice sopmething. Atleast i'm not going hungry because of a couch.

they are the rudest people 2 ever deal wit. i was two days late they are knockin on the neighbor door dwnstairs leaving tags on all tha doors yelling at my house call everybody on my app. if im not home im not here there is no damn need 2 call me 9x or beat on my door everyday. shit like that will really keep yall 4rm getting your payment. that is pass harrasment yall STALKING. RAC is all of the above comments. They lie to you about pick-up/delivery dates and times. I was told between 11-3; no one called or showed up. My daughter in Cary, NC. had a friend waiting @ her apt. for delivery bet. 11-3, no noe showed up. She called and the man ask her,"who was there to help him?" He tried to explain that one of their men had quit. That wasn't my daughter's prob. What kind of business are you all running?

THE DELAWARE,OHIO STORE HAS HUSBAND AND WIFE WORKING TOGETHER EVEN THOUGH ITS AGAINST THE COMPANY POLICY.THE MGR/ASSISTANT MGR TAKES COMPUTERS AND TV`S AND SELLS THEM AT HIS HOUSE.HE CONSTANTLY RIPS CUSTOMERS OFF.WHEN YOU TRY TO CALL THE DISTRICT MGR TO PUT IN A FORMAL COMPLAINT IT GOES IGNORED.VERY POOR WAY TO RUN AND OPERATE A BUSINESS....VERY UNFAIR TO MAKE MONEY TAX FREE.ISNT THAT ILLEAGLE ANYMORE??

I been a customer since 2009, and I bought a tv center and a dinning set, I was almost done paying for everything i recently move to a different address and i totally forgot to update my address...which that was my fault, i was late 1 month for my payment and I didn't call that is also my fault and i take resposability of this action, but what it really upset me was that i went to work and there is this guy claiming to be a cop that by the way he was NOT a cop, he tells my boss that i was a thief and i had 24hrs to return my furniture back or he was going to take me to jaill, i was shocked I have TO MENTION IT WAS NOT UNDER MY NAME it was under my husband's name..but i explained to them that i was going to paid, to make this short guys i did paid everything off and now they broke my dinning set and they dont want to give me my money back..Manager was very rude and disrespectful, and he said all he could do is give me something also from the store jajajaja i am shocked with this and very upset!! never again i will buy anything from this store, oh and he refused to speak to me about the incident at my work since mu furnuter was not under my name but yet they did send his people to my work..it makes no sence!!Manager needs to go!!!!!!! or bussness are going to be BAD!

My husband and I lived in Tulsa, OK. We bought a sectional and was told that when we move we would be given another and that the Tulsa store would pick up our old sectional. We NEVER got the sectional once we moved. We've contaced the District Manager George Chandler first. He did little to help. The rent a center where we live STILL haven't gotten our original sectional. They order two more couches and are claiming that is all they are going to do. I'm contacting the Regional Office today to get this resolved.

We went to Rent A center for a computer, against my better judgement. And I was right! We were in an ambulance on our way to the hospital when we rec'd a call from an associate, April from the Claymont, DE store. She told us we either had to make a payment then or we could schedule for a pick-up. WE WERE IN AN AMBULANCE!!!! What kind of customer service is this????? This is totally unacceptable!! They are lucky that they didn't get the computer thrown throught their window at the store. They would not have to schedule a pick up. It would have been thrown throught the window. We deliver!!!

Worst Service ever!!!!!!! They rip you off.
