DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME USING PRICELINE IT IS WORTHLESS AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SHITTY!

Priceline is the worse place in the world. They customer service representatives are trained to apologize over and over again but they do not want to find a resolution to the problem. They go around in circles and waste your time. It's like talking to a machine or a Robot. I WILL NEVER USE PRICELINE AGAIN. Ilease share with everyone you know.

I agree with every one that has stated that priceline has POOR customer service. Additionally, their confirmation emails DO NOT STATE THAT THE IS A BAGGAGE FEE in addition to the price that you named. Ok..never again.

I have several complaints about this company: First, regarding the name your own price feature for resorts in Tucson, AZ, the area of town listed as "La Paloma-Ventana Canyon" has three options that Priceline could assign you to: La Paloma Resort and Spa, Loews Ventana Canyon Resort and Spa and The Lodge at Ventana Canyon. The last option is what you will get stuck with and it is NOT a resort at all but a golf and tennis country club. The pool is used every day in the summer from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday-Friday for swim team practice!! You are offered to be shuttled to Ventana Canyon Resort at 1.1 miles away to use their pool!! RIDICULOUS! My second complaint is the resort fee charged by this property at 25.00 is a scam. Not only is the pool NOT accesible to guests but the rooms do not have a movie selection feature! You can borrow a dvd player from the front desk and go find a place to rent dvd's from... My third complaint is PRICELINE customer service in itself is joke. There is no such thing as customer service resolutions!!!All I asked for was a refund/ credit to my card for the $25.00 resort fee. The Priceline representative refused to give this and offered a $10.00 credit on the name your own price crap. My husband and I have booked on Priceline in the past with a few problems such as misleading hotel information but it was minimal stuff such as refrigerators in the room when there was not. This was the last time we will ever use Priceline. Prices are not cheaper as most of the time booking through resorts directly reveals they will offer the same prices with better cancellation policy options!!! It took getting screwed over by Priceline to discover this but Iam glad we did. I just booked Loews Ventana Canyon Resort and Spa for $99.00 and I have 2 days prior to cancel for a full refund. BOYCOTT PRICELINE>

NEVER NEVER NEVER USE PRICELINE!!!! THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY RUINED MY FAMILY VACATION. THEY BOOKED US IN THE WRONG HOTEL AND WONT REFUND OUR MONEY, THEREFOR OUR BEACH VACATION WILL BE SPENT THREE MILES AWAY FROM THE BEACH. I WISH I COULD SEE SOMEONE FACE TO FACE AND LET THEM SEE MY CHILDREN CRYING, AND SO THAT I COULD BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF THEM YOU FUCKING BASTARDS, I HOPE YOU ALL ROT IN HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just bid on a hotel and selected a specific hotel (Wyndam at the Riverwalk) and I was given a reservation for Hilton Garden Inn Jacksonville/Ponte Vedra. However when I read the reviews and saw they had a ROACH PROBLEM ...that was not in my vacation plans. I call customer service for Priceline and was told TWICE that there was nothing that could be done. I looked on line to get their corporate office number, and that number is a FAKE! It put me right back to the customer service department. Now that I am on my third call to Customer Relations (supposed higher ups to customer service ) I have been on hold for the longest time. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER AGAIN would I use this poor excuse for a hustle. Everyone I talked to seemed not to care about my stay in an unsanitary hotel room except a young lady named Adrienne (daay110). Although, she was not in the corporate office ... she atleast contacted the hotel on my behalf to get my reservation switched to the Hilton Garden INN at the Airport. She finally got the hotel to cancel my reservation and refund my money in 1-5 days. We will see if they honor my cancelation. Angry in Atlanta

I book 3 rooms for Memorial weekend at Reno CA through priceline and guess what I get. The day we checked in with kids, 3 single rooms with only 1 queen bed in each room. As per Priceline, we were suppose to get 2 queen or 1 King bed. To top it, these were all smoking rooms. Never ever will I use Priceline.com again, horrible services and not even courteous to discuss this issue over the phone.. stay away from priceline

Dear Priceline Web Administrator: Take this letter and run it to the brass in this company and tell them that they are looking like a scam and a fraud. The "customer service " area is pulling this business into a deep well. You WILL be brought down and buried for the un-fair practices, the scam "bait and switch", and the inability to address your customers...the three hours of stone walling a problem and its solution. Read the comments. This is cyber-bullying and theft, and a colossal waste of time. Representing yourselves as anything other than scoundrels would necessitate you taking immediate action to save the reputation of your company, qnd realizing just how far you have gone to lose the trust. Those poor representatives over in the Phillipines....afraid for their jobs...threatened??? She said she would lose her job. What kind of sick practices are these? Wake up and take stock...You can make things right.

I booked and pre paid for alberqueqe nm called the nite before because my wife got sick to cancel, they wanted the doctors name and number in calif. i told them we were in nv and she got sick the doctor doesnt know that she is sick we are going back to ca insted of going th nm they would not give a refund we were not even in the state that nite. i sent an email to the vice pres of priceline they sent me 1 back stating that they would contact me within 12 hours that was last wed. 60 dollars is not muck to them but it is to a senior citicen.. i thinh i will call aarp i had an aarp discount. Then they have the nerve to send me a questioneer to see how i liked the hotel that i never saw.....

I recently went searching for a hotel room for my family for a short vacation. I check rates through hotels.com and all the other websites. I then tried my luck with priceline. I originally put in a price that was "too low" even though it was for 50% of the retail price (the website claims up to 60% savings). So I went back to the drawing board. I was almost ready to make a reservation with a hotel directly when I recieved an email begging me to try them again. I said what the hell and bid again this time a little higher. I was again rejected but was told "for X dollars more..." and I bit. "Congratulations your bid for $___ has been accepted" and then I was sent the confirmation with the hotel details. I was looking through it and was pretty excited at what I had gotten UNTIL I saw "The room will accomodate up to 2 adults." My heart sank into my stomach. I called priceline within 20 minutes of the confirmation (the trip was not for 5 more weeks) to see what could be done. "Mr. S. we clearly state that the room only accomodates 2 adults. The reservations are also non-refundable." They did offer to call the hotel to see if I could get a room with 2 beds, but the hotel said no. I asked for a refund out of courtesy (after all the res was only 30 minutes old at this time) and was refused. I asked to be transfered to a manager/second level and was transfered to "customer relations." The customer relations rep affirmed their no refund policy and that there was nothing that they would be willing to do for me. I asked to speak to a manager and was again refused. THis time I was told that there was not a level higher than customer relations that could be reached over the phone. I was directed to write a letter (NO EMAIL) to the Vice President of customer relations LISA BILLINGHAM. I chose to contact my credit card company to dispute the charges. They reseaarched my claim and said they would lose if I pursued the dispute. Today I tried to resolve the issue again over the phone with customer relations, and it went about as good as last time. THanks to this website I now have PriceLine's corporate phone number and was able to leave a voice mail for Ms. Billingham. Now I have to wait and see how long it takes for her to return my phone call - if she ever does. All in all I have learned my lesson... and I pray that others find this website and my review BEFORE they make my same mistake.

I cannot believe what a terrible service priceline provides. They booked me into a substandard hotel room for two nights charging 293.66 to my cash card. I checked myself out after one night due to the conditions of the hotel, and a month later I am still unable to obtain my refund for the second night. Anyone who uses priceline do so at their own peril. I'm confident if you have any problems or issues you will receive no assistance at all from their customer service department.

Seriously folks, why would anyone use any of these travel agents? They are middleman and they are out to make money. It is that simple. Do you think they are in the business of refunding money? As a business traveler, I have spent almost 15 years on the road staying in hotels and renting cars and I have seen it all. Bottom line: deal with the merchant directly and cut the middleman. You will have better chances in getting a good deal. Remember, hotels pay commission to the middleman, so you might as well get that discount directly. Best thing to do is to use priceline or redtag web sites to get a feeling of the on-going rate and locations of hotels. Then proceed directly to the hotel web site and check the prices there. Almost all the time, the prices are the same but you will be better off dealing with the hotel directly than with "ghosts" on the phone. Even a better idea, try to call the hotel directly, not the general reservation system, you might even get a better deal. At the end of the day, hotels would love to have a guest occupying a room rather than an empty room. And by the way, hotels are negotiable, believe it or not. Last week I was in Denver and stayed at the Embassy Suites for $99/night and I also negotiated waiving off the internet fee which was $9.99.day. Upon check-out, the front desk printed a wrong receipt for a different room and I saw their rate was $135 + $9.99 internet. Which means I saved $450+tax for my 10 days stay, not bad .. huh. The same thing goes for cars. Book a car directly from the rental agency web site and keep monitoring their website for rates and deals. Rental agencies slash their prices drastically when they have an overflow of cars. Again, they would rather lease their cars than have a full lot. So, keep monitoring until the last day of your travel, if the price goes down, then cancel the old reservation and make a new one at the lower rate. You keep doing that as many times until your travel date. Worst case, if it does not drop then you still have a car reserved. The keyword, deal with vendors directly and cut the middleman who is simply out there to stiff you.

Greetings! Let le tell you what I really think about this company. This company it's so poor and I will never ever recommend you'll to people because, tickets are still expensive even though I bit the price, costumer service never answer phone when I need their help, prices are double expensive than other companies, and just leave me no shance when I need to change the day or months. People, never go what this company, because they don't care about their costumers. All what they want it's, your money, money and money. Mrs. Oliya Chapa.

Let me tell you a tale of sadness. Book a trip to Orlando in jan of 2012 for my wedding of all things. Come the day I'm supposed to leave try to check in on Line and find out there is a schedule change which I was never notified for ( 16 hrs prior to my trip) call priceline and they tell me its not their fault but the fault of the airline! Can u believe this shi!& !!! They yell me it's not their fault but the airlines ( passing the buck) none the less I arrive late for all my schedule apts (ie hair make up ) and they basically tell me oh well. Great customer service. I was crying like a baby on the phone and they treated me like crap. Never again Priceline I hate you. You stressed me out the day before my wedding you SUCK!!!!

Rental car was paid for by me prior to trip. When my sister and I reached the Avid counter, she had to present her credit card also since she was going to be the driver. Avis did not have the model car that we reserved, and tried to put us in a smaller car. Finally gave us a new Ford Flex for add'l $10 per day. Trip was 5 days. SIS just received Anecdote bill with add'l $250 + in charges from Avis. Priceline to 'research' issue. Not happy.

We had to book hotel for treatment. When we found one close to medical hospital we realized it did not have a pool. Cancelled within minutes and was told we would receive a refund, which we did, but since we were on a fixed income we needed the credit to book another hotel. Priceline said they would not refund our credit until 5-14 days, which would not allow us to book another hotel in time for treatment. We saved over 2 months to be able to get treatment, now we are not able to rebook for another 14 days which can put us out another 3-4 months and his cancer is getting worse...he may not make it. Spoke with Domic n customer service and was told it was my bank, not true call my bank and they said they would issue credit, just have someone from price line call them at a special number and it would be done. We verified the number and the bank was right. It was price line that was lying...Wow, I would have never believed this if it did not happen to us directly.....This is not the type of company we want our disable vets to deal with.., the customer service person said he was in Mexico in the Rivera.

I agree with all posts...i should have come here before booking a room online. No one has any authority to do anything, and i cannot get through corporate. The more you inform others of these problems the less people will have this problem. Lets voice our opinion and experiences through priceline via any social media available.

On May 12th, almost 11pm CT, I was trying to book a hotel in north Dallas region, I used name my own price option. It declined my bidding, so I tried again with a higher bid, however, system said I cannot book 12th night cause it past 11pm. I used Hotwire instead and got Doubletree hotel. When I arrived, the front desk told me I had two reservation, one from Priceline one from Hotwire, I was confused, because Priceline even sent me email says I failed of booking, and from Priceline websit my trip, all I see is fail of booking on MAy 12th hotel. I try to call the customer service but it was Saturday and no one was working. Later in the week, I still got charged for that night. I called back to try to figure out what is going on. The customer relation who pick up my phone will not try to listen to my explanation, she kept told me it is a past booking and she cannot do anything about it. Apparently my bidding went through without my knowledgement, Priceline didnt send me any confirmation email about the booking went through. She even told me I cannot trust on the Priceline email system. She even refused to let me speak with a higher up person or even told me her name and number associate with her. I insist her giving me the name and number, I said I will call back again. She said no matter how many times I called, the result will be the same. I was upset. I called back again soon after, a guy pick up my phone, and then I heard some girl speaking in the background(I don't want to assume it was the same girl I speaker few minutes ago). He told me the same reason, Priceline email system cannot be trusted. By the way I also check my spam system and no email confirmation. I remember when I had issue with not liking the hotel Priceline gave me before, I called customer service and they gave me bonus towards to my next bidding purchase, I asked if there is anything he can do to help a upset customer that got punished on Priceline system error and refused for a credit refund, like what other customer representative did for me. He refused, and said he can do nothing. Stand on customer side, I got punished not because of my own fault, but some system error, without credit refund, the customer service even refuse to offer something to make up for it. I have been a royal Priceline customer for years, I am very disappoint and upset about this experience. I don't understand, for a corporation, if the email system is not a reliable way of communicatuing, how is this corporation even reliable? I made a decision to close my account with Priceline and will no longer using Priceline, and I will also tell me experience to my family members and friends. Thanks!!!

AFTER READING THE OTHER REVIEWS, I DON'T FEEL ALONE ABOUT GETTING SCREWED ON ROOM RESERVATIONS.

Booked as hotel in Chattanooga. Charged my card. I lost my confirmation number got one from the hotel funny thing is the hotel has a much lower rate then charged by PRICELINE. The confirmation page was way less then the priceline price. Called Priceline for refund. NOPE> Asked for a supervisor haha that was a joke it was a non english speaking person who only could tell me so sorry, you were not suppost to see that page. I have used priceline several times in the past sometimes the hotels sucked sometimes great. But never had this problem. Me getting the confirmation price from the hotel is what I should be paying not the exploded priceline price. Best to contact the hotel personaly for the best best rate you can get. I will never use PRICELINE AGAIN HUGEST RIP OFF!! - 5 stars.
