Priceline is the worst customer service. They get paid just to pretend they are listening and all say I'm so sorry I do not have the authorization to help you. The few dollars you will save just pay it using a different site to save you the aggrevation and headaches. I will never use this iste again. It was such a rip off. I booked a hotel with the name your price and they give you the area where you would like to stay. They booked me in a totally different area which is so far away from what was promised. Called customer service and explained they made a mistake with location if they can change it and i don't mind changing location. They said nothing they can do. I called the hotel and they say they will grant refund but priceline will have to request it. Back and forth with priceline and bottom line they all say I'm so sorry... NEVER AGAIN!!!
my trip never happened . we experienced a medical emergency we did not make the flight my mother had to be hospitalized the day of our departure. we tried to cancel our flight to a future date but was not successful . I was very disappointed because this was totally out of our control and could not be prevented. I hope that priceline understand this circumstance and allow us to reschedule our flight . we are confident you will have compassion and make good this unfortunate situation .
I booked a flight with rental car. The price was $345.15 total. Booking up to $350.00 would cost me 35,000 miles on my credit card. I went to my card account and found that I was billed seperatly for the car and flight without being notified. Now I am paying for the car, while using all 35,000 of my mileage points for just the flight. Customer service is an oxymoron for priceline! The phone number is a loop of the same people. Would not surprise me if corporate headquarters is nothing more than a PO Box with a modem for frustrated customers! I am waiting for a call back from them. Call me back, fine, give me the run around, and I will bad mouth the company to the entire corporate world! Have a nice day!
Do not use priceline.com they have miss leading information I have booked a hotel with parking and once I got the confirmation from the hotel it says that they did not offer free parking. I have spoke to some many idiots on customer service with priceline and they want to blind everything on me even-thought they all agreed with me that their website priceline.com stated that the hotel offered free parking. I WILL NEVER NEVER USE PRICELINE.COM it's a scam
Priceline is terrible and I will never use them again. It booked me into a smoking room and will not change it and I have allergies to smoke. Days Inn will not do anything to change my room either. I think karma will get both of these companies. Do not use them.
BEWARE!!!! Once you choose a date on their web site to travel it indicates the date you want, but dont tell you until its too late the flights on that date were booked so it bumped me to the next day. I got to spend 16 hours of a whole weekend where I needed to go.WTF???!!!

To all wanting to use this company. DO NOT!! Priceline has been taking small amounts of money out of my account over the last two weeks without putting anything back. I've called my bank to resolve this. And yes I will be getting a lawyer. This company is a fraud. I'm sorry but worst company ever and I'd rather pay full price.
I tried to talk to customer service twice. My son took ill and we decided to stay home with him instead of driving up the coast. After spending most of the night on my knees in the bathroom holding his head out of the toilet; I tried again this morning. Again both Adrian and Ray(female) word for word from the script just as if they were human robots. Adrian was at least moderately polite about it while Ray started talking over me and raising her voice as if talking louder and repeating what I had said would make it go away. We purchased cancellation insurance just in case we needed it. I have used priceline for years without ever having to cancel. I would understand if we cancelled every trip or every other or some variation on that making us dreaded customers but the first time I truly need to cancel and this is the way we are treated. Needless to say my husband called them right back after I hung up in frustrated and exhausted tears and asked to speak with the next level ... who repeated the company verbage word for word showing no willingness to actually speak like a human being. He tried to get him to call the insurance company (which I had already done to no avail) again. My husband asked if his father were dead would he need to give them a copy of the death certificate as proof that something was wrong but Rex (the highest level available on the phone) said documented proof is required ... So do you take your child to the doctor for a stomach flu and pay for that and the meds they claim you need in an effort to get documentation that he truly is ill all to refund or move your travel dates! The truly horrible part is there is no customer support or any emotion at all shown by the human robots on the other end of the phone. We will most likely never use this company again and will spread the word to all our friends and associates about how absolutely unacceptable Pricelines customer service is.
I think that every single person stated the truth about Priceline. They make it so easy to book a reservation, but very difficult to cancel. And... they are like robots. Amazing! I am totally surprise that they are still in business.

I see by the other reviews I am not the only person that got beat out of their money by this company. My reservatons came back wrong and I called customer service which was useless. Why would I want to leave and arrive at the wrong cites for more money than was listed. I explained that I needed to get to my Dad's, now I don't know what I will do. Heartless cheats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I needed to book multiple hotels each in a different city on a different day because I am moving across the country with pets and needed pet friendly hotels. I was using petvactions.com. I did not even realize that I was using priceline.com. I booked the first hotel no problem. Then on to the next city. The website saved the date from the first hotel--didn't let me click what date I wanted--never let me review the dates and information before booking the 2nd hotel. So, then I had two hotels in two different cities for the same evening. I call to get the date changed, but that can't be done. The only thing they could do was cancel it and charge me. Now, if I legitimately needed to cancel the hotel I would be okay with the fee, but the only reason I needed to cancel was because the website imported the dates. I now realize that I encountered what everyone else on this forum has encountered with the indoctrinated employees who will not help or budge. Seriously!?!?! You can't waive the $25 fee when the website was poorly designed???? I'm starting to think that website was intentionally designed to initiate more mistakes so they can steal money from more people due to there fees. From now on I will only book from the actual hotel. At least, the actual hotel probably cares about their customers and wouldn't want customers to hate them.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T USE PRICELINE. It's a horrible company. I could go into detail but I would rather not write an essay on how bad priceline is. Seriously, take my advice along with few others and just use Kayak or Expedia or anything other than this crap. THey will scam you from your money.
I agree with all that has been said as they have the worst customer service ever. I travel quite a bit and they are by fare the worst. The refuse to issue a refund. I will NEVER book with them again. Worst.
Priceline never again!!!! I am booking priceline for years and never had problems..not this time when you make mistake ther is no one to talk to. I have to say i am a travel agent and know all policy..i made a mistake with the dates and hotel and asked for their help in changing the booking (not cancelling) with a fee..it is like i talked to a wall. They didnot even show a bit of trying to help..every e-mail I got from thrm says but this is our rules etc...iI well aware of their policy but as happen we make mistakes and it was for a week of booking after already booked with them at least 60 days of hotels. Not even tried nothing and i do know they could have come with a solution for me they just didnot want to help in this matter. There are many other cheap sites like "expedia" where you can cancel without fees. I am suprised that such big company such as "priceline" donot understand the power of good service... i didnot ask for anything free just an opportunity to change my miskake and even pay penalty and got back with stupid answers from them. Will not recoommend priceline to anyone
Priceline is the worst company. I can not believe Priceline is allowed to do business in the United States. They are a fraud. I booked a flight and car together for a certain price and surprise surprise after the get my credit card I get an email telling me a car is not available but I can reserve a car for over$100.00 more than what was advertised. This was after being on the phone for over 4 hours with the same runaround. DO NOT USE PRICELINE....
This company is a scam! they ripped me off as they charge your credit card for car rental reservations when you can do the same thing for free!!! Then they charged me twice for a cancellation after i realized they were a scam! we all need to write to congress and the better business bureu and I am filing a law suit against them and Thrifty Car for letting this company charge their customers for something that is free I am a poor disabled women and they are scoundrels!
Just got a bid confirmation AFTER I did not have the 3 digits on the back of the card entered. I DID NOT have the card, therefore I could NOT enter those numbers to confirm. I received an email stating that I could not complete because of this and next I know, BOOM, got the bid after I went on to another source. Help...last time for me. THEN, checked hotel AND it had all one stars, dirty, nasty, noisy and never will stay again. Mexico, just because it is cheaper, is NOT the place to defer 800 calls...they don't understand and RUDE at that...buuubyyy Priceline
HORRIBLE....HORRIBLE...HORRIBLE.. IM SO READY TO CALL CLARK HOWARD AND OTHER NEWS PEOPLE ONE PRICELINE. IT TOOK THEM 5 Seconds TO TAKE $$ OUT OF MY ACCOUNT, BUT OVER A MONTH TO PUT IT BACK IN MY ACCOUNT & IM STILL WAITING. ALL I KEEP GETTING IS 10 days or 7 days. ITS BEEN OVER 20 business days. THEY KEEP SAYING WE NEED TO CALL THE RENTAL COMPANY.... THEY HAVE A HIGH CALL VOLUME, OR KEEP GETTING A RECORDING... JUS BEATING THE FACT THAT THEY ARE "WRONG" AND IS HOLDING MY $$. "DON'T USE PRICELINE".....
