I recently book a vacation through priceline to puerto rico, with an excursion . However, the tour company never came to get us for the excursion to the bacardi rum distillery and old san juan tour. My husband and i waited in the lobby for 2 hrs and no one came to get us. Even the doorman at the hotel said that the tour company is a joke and thu have had numerous problems with them. When we called the company they said they came to get us but no one was in the lobby. Which was a lie! We were there twenty minutes before the scheduled pick up time! So of course it takes almost a month for priceline to send me an email resolution of half my money for the excursion! Saying that the company said we didnt confirm the excursion thats why we werent picked up! When i called from the hotel and got a damn pickup time! I guess i made the pickup time up! So priceline reps have the nerve to tell me that if the company only agrees to half then thats all the money i get and that they dont refund the rest! Dont use priceline! They dont take up for the customer nor do they give a damn! All the rep says is im sorry for the inconviene! Yeah right.

I would not ever book with priceline. I booked a hotel and airfare with priceline along with theme park tickets to Disney in Orlando, Fl.for May 11, 2012 for my sister and cousin. My cousin husband had a heartache May 10 one day before they left. My sister called to cancel the reservations and they told her -- ok your cousin is not going but are u .. "No stupid we are cousins did you not hear that". After hundreds of calls and being transferred to customer repr, customer service, etc., since they do not have know what a Supervisor or Manager seems to be, I finally got a respond from American Airlines and got vouchers --fair enough. However; the theme park tickets -- all we wanted we're vouchers so they can use them next year. Again, after talking to several department, I got this Sandra girl that said we had not options "not even a death in the family". These tickets are worth $630.00 - but they don't care, then I called Walt Disney Resort themselves and they told me the tickets have no expiration until they are used. PRICELINE IS A BIG RIP OFF. I have one more call to make and then I'm going to NEWS CHANNEL. It's middle of July and I'm tired of arguing and wasting my time. I will Boycot them.

I got hit up with some pretty heavy taxes for my hotel. Okay. Fine. I accept this is part of the terms I signed up for when I booked my hotel room. Here are issues I will not acccept. 1) Being told I will not be charged until the time of my booking (I was charged full less then 2 months later. Talk about being majorly caught off guard) 2) Low price promise. I found this hotel for 5 dollars cheaper per night. They are not even willing to match. 3) THAT ONCE YOU CLICK I ACCEPT THEY GET TO KEEP THE MONEY AT ALL COSTS. Last time I checked a company will not promise me a job for 2 year, 4 years or even 1 year. Yet if you click to complete the resveration. Priceline gets the money no matter what. We no longer have consumer rights in the travel industry. From hotels, to flights to most aspects. I for one have been burned by this practice once too many times. Now on top of all of this even if priceline can't do squat. Lisa Billingham would not even return my call. She simply replied to me via Email and totally blew me off. Well sorry. I spent nearly 1500 dollars I have every right to log my complaint. If she doesn't call me personally. The attorney general will make sure someone from price line will until my complaint is heard. So thank god for that last bit of ability in the US. Outside of that lawyers are making sure any corporation gets to keep the money. What is this world coming to? Sigh

As promised ... my refund has not been returned to me. Priceline is a joke. I spoke with Leo Merja (0711) and he told me that he sees a confirmation of refund, but he is unable to see it to me via email. I just want proof that they honored their word so that I can take it to the bank for research. I will not believe that customer service does not have a higher up in management to assist situations such as mine. Please beware of this service ... more hassles with your money ... less customer service. TIRED AND DISCOURAGED IN ATLANTA

As a full blooded native american indian I am deeply offended by the commercial of a white caucasian female betraying to be smudging with a fake eagle feather and a avalonian shell! is bad enough that the white man took our land now thay exploit our traditional beliefs on a commercial! Its not right thay should pull the commercial before somebody gets hurt or a c.e.o comes up missing. Just saying this is how things get started and people get hurt!!!!!

In the most best way I can say this...Priceline Sucks!!! I reserved a car online and I was charged the insurance for the car at the time that I made the reservation. Due to an unexpected emergency my trip was cancelled and I no longer needed the car. I called priceline to refund my money for the insurance and they told me they would not refund my money. They took my money for services not rendered. Again, it was like they did not even want to discuss it. It should be against the law to allow a company to scam people for their money. Since they dont want to listen as soon as Im done typing Im calling the News Station to see if they can make sense of this. I will fight them for every last penny of my money only because they were so unresponsive about the issue but mainly because I paid for something and did not get what I paid for.

Customer Service is a joke! Do not use, they have no customer service! Outsourced all customer servie rep to Phillipines and all they will will say is sorry I can not help you, why even have them. Bait and switch is what this company is all about! Stay away!

The service at priceline is HORRIBLE!! NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND ALL THEY DO IS TRANSFER YOU FROM ONE DEPARTMENT TO THE NEXT AND NOTHING IS RESOLVED.

Priceline is a rip off......customer service is horrible....they don't mind keeping your money if they is a problem with the room.....I didn't even stay a the hotel and they kept my money......I was told to wright a letter......if you read these reviews......beware it is a rip off.......don't throw away your money

I'm amazed after reading all of these comments about Priceline. My husband and I purchased a ticket for one of his friends to come and help us move. We chose the name your price option thinking that it would show us the ticket and then we would be able to choose whether or not we wanted to purchase it or not. The ticket they gave us was for 6 in the morning and his friend had to work that day and couldn't make that time. Priceline took us for $350. We even checked the trip insurance and neither Priceline or the travel insurance company, Berkley, will not refund us the money. They say we are just out the money and oh well. I'm sorry but in today's economy $350 is a lot of money. Especially, since we just moved into a new house. Since when is it okay for a company to receive payment and not provide a service. If a service is not provided you should receive your money back. It is that simple. As I'm reading all of these entries I am seeing why Priceline can afford to pay for William Shatner to do their commercials. They are making all kinds of money off of people and the people have no recourse. I have made a complaint to the BBB and am still waiting for a refund. I don't think it is going to happen though. Still waiting for them to reverse the charge back to my credit card. one transcation of "one dollar" is pending and we will see if they reverse the rest of the charge, which is worth of some hundred dollars. If the rest of the charge is not reversed until COB of today - I am taking actions further. Infuriated and frustrated with this company.

the freaing worst ever never ever again i hate priceline

Booked a flight to NC from Houston on priceline (PL) for July 14-17, 2012. Likewise, I got screwed by the old system of Bait and Switch. After submitting my bid I recieved a counter offer from Priceline for about $23 more than my bid and accepted it. To my surprise it was for an arrival time of 12:15 am, July 15. Mind you, my elderly folks lives approx 45 minutes away. Either I wake them up or pay $75 for a hotel in town. I contacted Customer Service, spoke to 4 different Reps, who gave every excuse under the sun about why PL was not liable. Ihey were supposed to get me to my destination on the 14th and didnt so technically they breached their own agreement. To make matters worse, if you by a roundtrip ticket and dont show uop you forfeit the whole entire ticket.

I have purchase tickets with insurance and could not make my flight and now Priceline refuse to refund my money. I am going to take them to court and will never never nver use them again. I use do good amount of business with them. The rating poor is over rated, I give them the rating less than poo. in minus

I don't understand why if I couldn't make my trip because of a death in my family, why I couldn't have my money back. Times are hard now-a-days and its upsetting to know that if you have a problem, there is nothing that can be done to help you. I knew that my tickets were non-refunded, but when people still go through with their purchases, that means they don't expect to cancel at anytime. I was suppose to get married on June 20th but I did not, and to top it off I couldn't get my money returned to me. It was 700 dollars wasted. I just wish Priceline was more understandable about their repeat customers.

6/27/2012 Just got off the phone with Oliver at Priceline not surprised however due to stringent no bending can’t help you etched in stone policies my vacation with my family is now officially trashed and I received absolutely no help from any of the umpteen people I talked to in the Philippines or at the corporate office. Each person was a great “read off the script answer person” and the real people I should have talked to are safely hidden behind a wall of “I am sorry we cannot give that information.” I will never use Priceline again…I will advise anyone I know not to use Priceline and while I take full responsibility for any part I played in the mistakes in my booking I am surprised and amazed that Priceline does not have anything in their policies or a person that can override these issues. I am sure I am not the first person who has had this issue…I was not asking to cancel or get out of the deal…I was just asking for some help. I can see a “ Disgruntled Priceline blog/website/facebook page in the future, I am sure it would fill up fast with some rather fantastic reviews judging from some that I have read on this site. Anyone want to join???

Went to priceline for a flight quote. It was over $100 more than going to the airline website. Decided to try naming my own price, but I backed out when they asked for too much of my personal and credit information in advance. Fortunately I did not give them any accurate information because it was just a test. In 2002 I got a round trip to Hawaii at a 4 star hotel from Priceline for just $900. Priceline has gone to hell since then.

I will never use Priceline again. They have the worst customer service and won't even listen to why you are calling. They read from scripts and say the exact same thing to everyone. Due to them we are landing at a small airport after midnight when all rental car companies are closed. I asked them if we could just skip the 2nd leg of our trip and drive instead of waiting 3.5 hours for a connection and get somewhere when it's closed. They said no. I don't want a refund I just want my flight to not get cancelled when I am coming home. I called the airline and they said they'd love to help but can't but Priceline should be able to help me. I called Priceline and they say NO NO NO. I don't want money just help me. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with and I refuse to do business with them again.
