I NEED YOUR FAX # FOR SOME VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION I FOUND ABOUT A BILL THAT I WAS ACCUSED OF MAKING, AND IT'S A LONG STORY, BUT I DO NEED THAT FAX AND OR PHONE # SO I CAN HAVE MY ACCOUNT CLEARED OF THIS PROBLEM, IT WAS PAID FOR AND YOUR COMPANY SAID IT HASN'T BEEN PAID, AND I FOUND OUT BY USING MY OLD EMAIL ADDRESS THAT IT IS INDEED PAID, AND LIKE THE LADY AT THE MAIN HEADQUARTERS SAID, IT WASN'T PAID, AND THE ORDER WAS IN APRIL, AND THEY KEPT SENDING EMAILS TO MY OLD ADDRESS, AND I KNOW I GAVE THEM MY NEW ONE, BUT I GUESS THEY KEPT USING THE OLD ONE BECAUSE OF MY CREDIT CARD INFO. ANYWAY THE BILL WAS PAID ON JULY 21, 2010, AND IF IT WASN'T PAID THEN WHY HAVEN'T I BEEN CHARGED INTEREST ALL THIS TIME? AND THE AMOUNT THAT THEY SAID I OWE WAS $39.76, AND I DON'T KNOW IF RATES OF SOME KIND OR TAXES CHANGED LIKE IT DID HERE IN MD. BUT WE PAID MORE THAN THEY SAID WE OWED, AND THE LADY AT HEADQUARTERS EVEN SAID THAT MY HUSBAND WAS GOING TO PAY IT, WELL GUESS HE FORGOT, AND THEN REMEMBERED TO PAY IT IN JULY, OR WE MIGHT HAVE GOTTEN SOMETHING IN THE MAIL,I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY OR WHY HE PAID MORE THAN THE TOTAL WAS ($39.76, HAD TO BE SOME REASON UNLESS IT WAS LATE CHARGES, HELL IF I KNOW) AND ALSO I PLACED 4 ORDERS IN THE MONTH OF NOV. AND THE DATES WERE THE 10TH,17TH,19TH, AND 21ST, AND IT TOOK THEM FOREVER TO GET ALL MY MERCHANDISE HERE, AND EVEN WORSE. WHEN I WROTE TO THEM TELLING THEM I WAS JUST GETTING BITS AND PIECES OF 4 DIFFERENT ORDERS, ALL I GOT WAS A FORM LETTER SAYING THAT THEY WOULD ASSIGN SOMEONE TO CHECK INTO IT, THEN IT TOOK FOREVER TO GET A REAL RESPONSE, AND JUST LIKE TODAY, THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE GOING TO SEND OUT AN ORDER, WELL HELL.THAT IS HOW SLOW THEY ARE ON THE EMAILS, I HAD ALREADY OR REALLY FINALLY GOTTEN EVERYTHING AND TOLD THEM NOT TO SEND ANYTHING MY 4 ORDERS WERE FINALLY COMPLETED, I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY KOHLS CAN'T SEND EACH ORDER COMPLETED IN ONE SHIPMENT, AND I WOULD HAVE HAD ALL 4 ORDERS IN A MATTER OF THE MOST A WEEK TO 10 DAYS. I HAD TO GO INTO KOHLS.COM AND LOOK AT EACH ORDER WHEN I DID GET SOMETHING IN THE MAIL, THAT IS HOW I HAD TO DO IT EACH TIME I GOT SOMETHING, AND I HAVE TO ADMIT I FORGOT THE TOYS FOR KIDS AND ORDERED THEN JUST TODAY,WOULD YOU PLEASE MAKE SURE I GET THEM BEFORE CHRISTMAS FOR GODS SAKE AND HIS BIRTHDAY, MY ORDER # FOR THE LAST ORDER I PLACED TODAY FOR THE TOYS IS # 487854499, SO AT LEAST GET THIS ORDER TO ME BEFORE CHRISTMAS, I NEED THEM FOR THE KIDS, THAT IS THE LEAST YOU CAN DO SINCE I HAVE BEEN THROUGH HELL WITH THE OTHER ORDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT EVERYTIME I EMAILED KOHLS, IT TOOK FOREVER TO HEAR BACK FROM THEM, THEN THEY ONLY MADE PROMISES. THERE IS WHERE YOU NEED GOOD HELP WHERE THE EMAILS ARE ANSWERED, ALSO THE SHIPPERS. THEY ARE SLOW AS HELL,BUT THEY DON'T CARE AS LONG AS THEY ARE GETTING A CHECK, DON'T CARE IF I GET MY ORDERS, WELL I HAVE A NEW ORDER IN NOW JUST TODAY, SO TELL THEM BOYS TO GET UP OFF THEIR ASSES AND GET TO WORK, I WANT MY ORDER BEFORE THIS CHRISTMAS, NOT IN DEC 2011
This is the absolute worst company I have ever worked for. Unfortunately due to the current economic climate, finding another job is easier said than done, though I continue to search for other employment everyday. This company will schedule you to work till 12:30am and schedule you back to work the next day at 8:30am. Deduct drive time, shower time, food prep and eating time and time to shut the brain down to go to sleep in the first place, it equals to less than 6 hours of sleep time. Something has to give, so which is the least damaging to my health is how I decide what to go without during those scheduled times. Guess what, its the shower that gets left out and breakfast, all so I can maybe get 5 1/2 hrs sleep. Kohls doesnt care about its employees, they don't even really care what condition the store is in, its a time bomb waiting to injure an employee or customer, so much stuff is broken that anyone could get hurt anytime, inform them and they say they dont have the money to fix or replace. I wonder how much a lawsuit will cost for unsafe working conditions? What if customers knew that one of their loved ones were killed in a car accident because a Kohls employee fell asleep at the wheel because they werent allowed enough time to sleep between shifts? But of course the public isnt aware of all these unsafe practices are they? Smarten up Kohls, the world is small in the age of instant global communications.
I have a friend that has worked at Kohl's for over 9 yrs has worn Mickey mouse Sweaters with Santa Hats and other Mickey Mouse Shirts ( always dressy not graphic ). Today, I was in the Janesville Wi. store just to hear her supervisor tell her she may no longer wear Mickey Mouse on her clothing to work. WHY?????????? she is dressed better then some of the employee's there. I want to know if there are no words on her shirts why she can not wear them . Wow, I have spent alot of money at your stores. Wonder if what a person that is checking me out wearing is going to affect me going there. NO NO NO as long as it is clean and no swear words on it. WOW some of the employees look like they have rolled out of bed and go to work at the Janesville store and as she was told it is corprate saying you can not wear that not us. Well tell those girls at the same store that wear their dresses up to there butt. To go home and change not the person that is well dressed and just happens to have Mickey Mouse on her shirt. At least that is a cheerful..........Also I personally have been in the store looking for a clerk to help me just to be told oh corparte tells us we can not schedule that many people. What your comercials say you are hiring but yet there are not enough hours to give people time to service your costmer
My mother was detained and was told she was shop lifting.Its a long story .2weeks ago i called the home office over this.She has yet to hear from any one over this matter.I was called the following day,on the promise to be called the net day.Where is the phone call???Come to find out her jacket she was told she stole,was 15 yrs old and never sold in your store!!!!She has medical problems.Wouldn't leave her house for yr's.Now she is the same way again.I want to thank you for ruining her social life.Bravo!!!
Lucy P wrote that she was offended when asked for ID on a credit card purchase. Ms. Lucy you should have thanked the stales agent for asking. There should be a law requiring merchants to always ask for ID On credit card purchases. I consider this a protection for me as a consumer from the fraud perpetrated by who knows how many credit card and identity thieves every hour. I purchased some pants last week from Kohls in the Raleigh store mentioned in another comment and was told by a cashier that she could NOT ask for ID. Lucy you should throw away your Visa and pay cash. I can't understand why being asked for ID would offend you. If you don't give an ID (i.e. License) when stopped by a police officer, you'll go to jail. People like you make the rest of us pay higher prices because your pompous attitude allows thieves to get away with theft.
I clicked on voting for a school and ended up with a kohls ad on my facebook. Now i like kohls but i don't want an ad on my facebook account. I have called twice for instructions to remove it. I purchased a replacement wedding ring since mine broke. It took 30 day's for the ring to be sized. After wearing it for less then 1 week, I noticed the prongs were very sharp and it did cut my face. I just returned it yesterday and they put the credit back on my Visa Card. She stated that the credit would take up to 7 business day's, however after reading some of these stories, I refuse to wait 17 day's for almost a $400.00 credit to my account. I do like shopping at Kohls, however anytime you go shopping there the lines are long, the employee's seem to be more involved in conversation then helping you. I know that this is retail, however I have been in customer serivce for over 25 year's and I am ashamed to say that Kohls customer serivce is terriable. I waited for almost 25 minutes just to pick up my ring with a 4 year old since they only had 1 person working the jewlery counter that day. She kept saying your just picking up a ring, and she took customers that were there after me. I didn't say anything since my Son was acting up and just wanted to get out of there. However if the credit is not back on my Visa in 7 day's I will be going to corporate.
FALSE ADVERTISING! My husband had purchased a diamond ring for me. Immediately one of the 3 diamonds fell out. He returned it to Kohls, they replaced. The second time a diamond fell out of my ring,he told them he wanted to return it and get another or his money back. They kept the ring and told him it would be 7-10 DAYS BEFORE HE WOULD RECEIVE RESPONSE FROM CORPORATE! He will either receive in store credit or a check. How sad that they promise returns immediately no questions asked but fail to follow through! I will never purchase another thing from Kohls......EVER!
If this is the area to write a review about Khols I could not write one as it is the policy of the corporate office to not take calls from their customers. I have had the displeasure to talk with a Andrew, Tom and Pearla who were extremely unpleasant.
Are you all sick! Opening at 3:AM on a friday. People do have a life. I won't be there. Sale or no sale. Ever think of your employee's. They have family's too. I have been in retail for 30yrs. And for the ones that are open on Thanksgiving, just as sick. It is a complete disrespect of customers. And risking there lives for your profit, waking up at 3:am to catch a sale. I hope and pray a deer doesn't run out, on someone at that time in the morning for just a profit. Have a nice day.
Kohl's refund policy for Visa credit cards is awful. I purchased a piece of merchandise and it was defective so I simply returned it the same day. I had my receipt and everything. When I initially purchased the item I didnt see productivity, I saw workers standing around laughing and talking completely unaware that I am standing there. So I stood for about 30 seconds at the register while they finished their conversations. Then she just stared, no customer greeting, no smile, no nothing! So I purchased the item, took it back.... thinking its all taken care of. 4 days go by, no reefund on my card, on the fifth day I called and was told visa can take up to 10 days to refund, ok??! on the 11th day I spoke with 2 managers, both of which were not clear on a solution. "Ummm" is not an answer and let me get back to you is definitely not customer assurance. I am on my 17th day without my refund and all i Get is the run-a-round. Sad that kohls spend more money on its advertising than on its computer system.
Iam a x-sales clerk from a Kohls, actually one of the top 20 Kohl's in the country. I have made a very small mistake have taken care of the repercutions. I was called into the managers' office in the middle of a closing shift and was told i was fired and it came from corporate office and if it were up to them i would still have my job, but it wasnt and there was nothing i could do get my jobh back. The reasoning was i had 2 checks in the spring to Kohls for a total of less than 50$ returned because of posting to my account on a thurs day,instead of when my check from Kohls was deposited into my account atmidnight that night. It took awhile to recover from that set back but everything owed to Kohls was paid imediatly.I was counsled atthat point and was told if it happened again further action could b taken. Well, 2 weeks ago i had a check for 10 & one for 20$ returned, same circumstances as the spring ...i was fired for this. My manager said there was nothing he could do to help me be reinstated. I loved my job at Kohls and had a great customer service score. I feel its a huge loss for the dept i worked in.I have been there for 3yrs and was very knowledgeable about every aspect of my dept and customer service desk. With the busy season of the year starting next week, i am actually begging for my job back. I want to speak to someone at the corperate office in human resourses in reguards to this matter. I have been told by one person in thre corperate center it was up to the store manager...i just want the truth.
for the lady with the box issue...OMG buy your own boxes....for the lady with the multiple 10 dollar coupons...it says ONE per person...you are cheating the system. Kohl's goes out on a limb to make you ungrateful people happy...and it's people like you the policies keep changing to make the whiner happy, and increases OUR prices to accommodate the loss they endure.
Don't believe the email coupons. I recieved a coupon for 15-20% depending on how much you spent, and it stated jeans were 40% - NOT TRUE. The store manager, had no reasoning, couldn't get a hold of anyone with corp and would not honor what was sent to me. It seems as though Kohl's assumes the customer will buy anyway. Don't fall for the bait & switch! I am canceling my Kohl's charge and will return to Macy's.
Wow, after reading all of these comments, it gives me great concern about Kohl's. There are things that I cannot mention on here because they are personal and ya never know if someone has to apply for a job here, at a much higher level, of course And maybe that would be a good idea, considering the probs Kohl's is supposedly having. Anyways, my problem is that I purchased a bunch of sets of fleece pajamas about a month ago, which would require boxes. They are christmas presents for 3 people. Noboxes yet, they said. So I started up calling this week and called 3 different Kohl's stores. They say no boxes yet and they do not know when they will get them. They said they don't request them, they just get them. One customer service representative at one of the stores told me to go to the post office to get the free flat rate box and use that. I asked about all of the writing from the post office that would be on the box, and besides the box wouldn't be big enough, and she said once you put wrapping paper over the box you wouldn't see it. I could not believe this! So now I'm supposed to wait another couple of weeks and try calling them again. I just called the corporate office, amd the first time I got hung up on, the 2nd time I got transferred without being told that I would be; they simply said that boxes go to the stores sometime before the holidays and that I should keep checking. I have never run into this before.
I have shopped for Kohl's for over 5 years and have probably spent well over $7,000.00 according to my credit card receipts, so that doesn't include cash purchases. Well, NO MORE! Our newspaper had a coupon on it last month that was $10 off $20. I drove 45 minutes to get to the nearest Kohl's. I had purchased 4 papers and was allowed to use all 4 coupons, separate transactions of course. Well, this week another coupon came out, just like the first. I bought 4 more papers and drove 45 minutes and was only allowed 1 coupon. I then went to the car and went back in. I went to another register and used another coupon. Went to the car and came back in and was being the topic of the customer service desk about how I wasn't going to use another coupon. The coupon said one coupon per customer, per transaction. I WAS ONLY USING ONE COUPON PER TRANSACTION! I seen several people spending $100 or more and they didn't even use a coupon. SO what's the deal......false advertising to me if they won't allow you to use the coupon. I have tried for 2 days to get a number to the district office. The store manager says it came from higher up and when I called corp office they said they were not aware of the coupon and that it must be a store manager decision..............somebody don't know what is going on.
I am a kohls employee in at e commerce in Ohio. Recently at our quarterly meeting we were informed that as a 3rd shift worker, we will now be required to work on Thansgiving day. That hit all the employees hard, as they had already had plans, family coming in and so on. For a company that says it cares of its emplyees, that sure made them a liar. We have generated a petition and to send to the management of the e commerce and to corporate. Your own corporate rules state that we are to be closed for that and 5 other holidays. What's next workng on Christmas day!

The day after Thanksgiving, as most know, is a big spending day. Here in Tucson, AZ, the Kohl's is terrible about getting the shoppers through the checkout lines in a timely manner. With this being such a busy day, you would think Kohl's would make arrangements. But of course, they did not. There is nothing in any store that I needed so badly to wait in line for 1 hour. So I put the items down, and walked out. Guess Kohl's didn't need my money that badly after all. I was wondering when I walked up to the store why so many people were leaving with no bags in their hands. Needless to say, I found out. Bad, bad business practice.
