I have been trying for over a year, dealing with customer service, to resolve the fact that I do not receive any of the promotional mailings; while my neighbors receive theirs. I have closed out my original account and opened another one in hopes that this would allow be to receive the promotions; but this has not happened. I have been told, over and over again that Customer Service cannot talk to the Marketing Department (who controls the sending out of the promotions) they only communicate by e-mail. I would think that a coporation as large as Kohl's could resovle this problem. They keep saying they have the customers interest at heart; but they can't seem to send me my promotions.

Enough is enough already. I am sick and tired of Kohl's Department and the schemes they pull....they call them sales. I went to Kohl's today. I am trying to do this less and less. However I was visiting a friend across the street and thought I would stop and buy a belt I have been needing. I had no idea Kohl's was having their weekly sale. You know the one today was 20% off everything in the store. Yesterday the sale was on Boots. Oh these wonderful sales, NOT!!! Well I found a belt and got lucky and found a tablecloth that would fit my table. It was so hard to choose since they had so many....THREE! ALL the same. Well, while I was standing in line waiting to checkout I saw everyone was getting 20% off. Great, but not for me. Okay enough of the silliness.....I did go to Kohl's today for a belt. I found a very nice one on sale. I always check for tablecloths and got lucky today and found a very nice on that was on sale too. I did not know that there was a sale, okay that's not true since Kohl's is ALWAYS having a sale. To top it off when you checked out you got an additional 20% off. I didn't, however. Why? Well I wanted to pay cash and the game rules for today was you only got 20% off if you charged your items on your Kohl's charge card and I wanted to use cash....no 20%. Cash isn't good, I guess! The cashier was quite surprised that wanted to pay using my debit card. She told me I could save 20% more if I opened a charge account. Her suggestion was to open an account, charge, get the bill, pay the bill, close the account. I told her no thank you since I have had a Kohl's charge since 1986. I can't begin to tell you how many times I have been told to do this little act. When everything was said and done I lost about $7.00 on the final cost. It may not be a ton of money but I could use it on something like groceries. I think it is number one just terrible that I couldn't get the extra 20% because I used cash but these dollars do add up. I also second don't like their scheme on getting a Kohl's charge card stuffed down my throat eveytime I want to buy something. Third it is just plain WRONG that I didn't get the extra 20% off. I live in a small town and I have found that I am buying alot more and more items on the internet and they take cash, even with a sale code! I see my days ending at Kohls because of nonsense like this. I should not be forced to charge anything to get a sale price. Correct me if I am wrong!

I am a Kohls DC employee who checks in the jewelry for the Kohls stores. I am shocked and disgusted at the jewelry we sell at our stores. It is damaged. Diamonds fall out of the Jewelery everyday but we sell it anyway!! The colors are tarnished and dull and almost always broken. Don't buy Kohls jewelry

My wife works at the Bayshore store and Managers wendy and beth treat her like dirt. These two "women" are basically sub-human and should be fired for their disrespectful behavior towards employees!!!!

I noticed that you have your cashmere sweaters on sale for 37.00 dollars that's 63.00 dollars off.I went into your Covington store thinking I might get a sweater for myself for Christmas the only problem I'm a plus size and the store didn't carry it in plus size.I could order it on line but when I checked the sweaters were regular 130.00 dollars on sale for 87.00 dollars that didn't make scene. 65% off 130.00 is 45.50 now I would understand paying more for the plus size but I feel that it discrimination to not give the same percentage off just because I am a big girl.Could someone tell me how you came up with the sale price for the bigger size cashmere sweaters and give me a response in a reasonable timely manner. Thank You, Tracy

I really hate the fact that myself and several other friends have quit shopping @ your store due to the fact that back inn August 20,2010 after make several trips to the store for a birthday party for my daughter on the weekend of the 20th I went into the store one last time to puchase a ring fro my daughters 15th b day. I already knew where it was n how much so on my way 2 set up for the party I went n for the ring she wanted . After entering the store after a brief t shower there was water on their floor coming off of the indoor outdoor carpet n as soon as I came off that carpet I fell really hard. I waited til the following Monday before going to the Dr so that I would not ruin my daughters party. When they finally made the report @ home office the recovery guy told me that because I was wearing flip flops n it had rained that it was my fault I fell n their store and thet are refusing to pay for any of my Drs bills and injections I have had 2 have since August. I have had 2 go 2 my regular Dr. Three times @ 70 each she had 2 refer mr to a back n pain specialist n I have had 2 be there 3 time (1) 220.00. (2) 100.00 n then meds @ 110.00 for 4 times I still need another injection due to syoticv nerve n disc damage n all I want them to do is pay the bills cause I have 3 children and a handicapp sister to take care of. (REALLY) is that tooooo much to ask for? JP(Augusta GA) cmorepowell3366@yahoo.com

I think Nora reeves is right in a lot of ways. i like to shop kohls, and i.am in a wheelchair. yea ,i was followed and could not get around the store to shop easy, every thing was so close together i could not move around to shop. It looked like they were glad i was leaving. dont want pitty are any thing, but when i tryed to order on line. it was horriblbe, they was rude and i was told nothing thur customer service about any thing about being bill weeks after the order, and one that i did not place. i have to wait 2 to3 weeks more for any order i did not received. its jan. i ordered on the 6th of dec. and on top of it i did not appreciate being partroninized about being diabled and lucky that i had money to shop. it was my christmas present and i spent it on my family. add insult to injury. i guess they figure that people in wheel chairs should shop else where. maybe salvation army. thank you for hurting my feelings and felt degraded at your store. california rancho cordova,

In August of 2009, my husband bought me a ring for our 25th wedding anniversary. I chose the ring and was thrilled that the cost was reasonable as I did not want to spend alot of $$ for such a frivalous gift. The price was great as Kohl's was having a 60% off sale and with the sale and the Kohl's cash combined, the cost of the ring was extremely affordable. Soon after the purchase I had to take it to a local jeweler for repair as the bottom of the ring broke. That cost me $40.00 to repair. Then one of the stones fell out. That was another $40.00 at the jewelers to have the stone replaced. Now another stone has fallen out and it is currently in the jewelers being repaired again however, the cost this time for the repair is $170.00 as the jeweler said he has to replace all of the little prongs that are holding in the stones to prevent yet another loss of a stone in the future. The jeweler also told me that the quality of the "diamonds" is very very poor and the 2 new stones that he is going to put in to replace the lost ones are of better quality than all the stones in the rest of the ring!!! Now the repair costs are exceeding the actual cost of the ring and I find that unacceptable. I can assure you that I will never purchase jewelery or anything else for that matter at Kohl's every again. If Kohl's buys items of such poor quality, and sells them to the public, they should be ashamed of themselves. I did not return to Kohl's as I was well aware that I would not receive any resolution to my problem. Reading the reviews has proven that to be a fact.

When shopping in Kohls, a manager announces to the Kohls team over the PA system (message to employees) that they should keep up their efforts to generate Kohls credit card accounts, announcing goal and where the store is to meet goal. As a CUSTOMER I do not respect the communication to employees over the PA system that essentially instructs them to push the Kohls credit card on me. I will not be fleeced by someone like a Kohls employee. If Kohls has a motive to push a campaign on customers, let it be communicated in a team meeting behind closed doors. Show some RESPECT and dignity as an organization when your customers are shopping. If this continues, I won't shop here and I intend on asking the Store Manager to apologize to employees over the PA system who feel they are harrassed...if only me, when hearing this low class prompt. Who thought to do this must live in a trailor park.

Some one needs to talk to the store manager at your Kohl's store on West Broad Street in Columbus Ohio. The way he talks to the Employees is Down Right nasty. He talks to them like they are Shit. He needs to be put through a class on How to treat people. Or taken down to their level. If it were up to me he should be dismissed.

I am currently employed at the Ecommerce center in Monroe Ohio and have been for the past 3 years. Overall this has been one of the best places I have worked and one of the most sucessfull companies I have worked for but the gap between the corporate office and the Ecommerce centers makes it nearly impososible to maintaion a fair and informed connection from employee to highest management. As employees we are directed to report any complaints or suggestions within the building to our Human Resource office. In most cases things are taken care of in a timely manner and there is no need for follow up. Unfortunately when we have a problem with supervisors or operation managers it is always kept within that office, its almost taboo and hush hush to try to reach out for help outside of our location. I have heard of several instances in which employees have complained of a certain bullheaded hateful bullying operations manager (phyllis ponder) to the corporate office and she's even been suspended and moved to different shifts several times yet she still remains in her postition, free to continue her bahavior while our attempts to cope feel useless. She may be "talked to" and for a short time her attitude may change but its always right back to the same antics. Its past the point where anyone who has a run in with her has given up on caring, we work less, we complain more and have no respect for her. Ofcourse this isnt right either but having been pushed around and mistreated for so long by the same person really tears a worker down and it does and always will affect the customers one way or another. My point is if Kohls is so concerned with customer satisfaction then they would start at the root of problems stopping discrimination and slander where it began.

I just wanted to let you know we will no longer be shopping in your stores. Your employees have no idea what is going on in the store and I feel could care less. We purchased items yesterday, today we returned for an even exchange. Same item, same price tags, but we were told that we would have to pay more. They could care less about the posted prices, too lazy to investigate. So we did the next best thing and returned the items and went to another store to make our purchases. My wife indicated we need to cut up the Kohls credit card and send it back to you. Great idea. When I called Corp Headquarters HAL from customer service told me that he had no way to transfer my call to the CEO. CEO does not have time for his customers, we don't have time to be kohls customer.

I am a frequent shopper at Kohls but am rethinking shopping any there any longer. I dont know what there return policy is but i have made some returns without a receipt but they have tags all i wanted was a store credit, but because i had too many returns they want to send me corporate refunds which would me a check. Why would they want to issue check to me when if they gave me credit i would then use at store at that time. So when and if I ever get checks from them I will now cash and not spend that money there. I treied to call 3 times and each time the hold time was over 20 minutes very annoying. Still have not been able to get in touch with them. Not happy....

I like the store, I HATE the store charge card. Last year, Kohls reported my account closed to the credit bureaus, instantly reducing my credit score. Funny how the account is still open and I can still use it, but it says CLOSED on my credit report but my balance remains. I contacted them last year and their response was that they didn't close it. Then why do all 3 credit agencies say THEY told them that I asked for it to be closed, yet it has been open for many years? So now after checking my credit report it still says it's closed, so I decided to call them again. I can't get any answer on the phone at customer service. listening to awful music for 30 minutes now with NO person. WAIT!! ! Someone just answered! IN CENTRAL AMERICA!!! Can't understand them. Now they are transferring me to the US at my request, supposedly. On hold again. WOw... line went silent.. surprise... Still no answer.. nearly 40 minutes.. last 8 of silence while cell phone minutes ticking away. DON"T GET A KOHLS CHARGE!!! RUN!!!!

Kohls.com has too many "white elephants", the shipping cost is too high, delivery is slow, contacting the company is almost impossible and coupon codes are too restrictive. Kohl's today is not yesterday's Kohl's, in a negative way.

Rating your organization with a "star 1" is giving Kohls far more justice than deserved. I've been in retail for most of my life in HIGH END STORES where customer service was a religion, something we didn't take lightly, but with your organization it's a joke! About 2 months ago, in the November issue of ELLEDECOR, you featured a handsome double page spread in exquisite color featuring a number of your prized and carefully selected holiday items. As I'm attracted to high end advertising and unusual merchandise, I decided on buying a pair of your 15" tall silver glass candle holders as a gift, should mention this was all done on line, as it was to be a gift I chose the pair to be gift wrapped and a "personal card" to be enclosed, all that I'd requested and was paid for was totally ignored, but this little story goes on and on and ON!!!My gift arrived within 6-7 days, my friends opened their present, both holders were in ruins, broken as they'd not been packed properly, each candleholder should have been boxed and wasn't, both were evidentally thrown into the shipping box amongst your bubbly green plastic, no gift wrapping, no card, and this was my introduction to your store, But the story only gets better, I called your customer service dept, the person I spoke with was very knowlegable, helpful, I thoroughly explained all the circumstances from A TO Z and she told me she would personally take care of it, AMEN! TWO WEEKS have passed and still no package arrived to its SAME ADDRESS, PARTY IN LAS VEGAS, OKAY so I tried again, also speaking with a so-called knowledgable person in customer service, Must say at this point I'm totally baffled by the STUPIDITY, TOTAL CARELESSNESS BY YOUR STAFF, and More so when calling back on a number of times with my original order number no one had a clue as to what I was talking about. My last call yesterday was to request a refund to me VISA credit card AND to request the NAME AND ADDRESS of your Store President. Kim, the sales associate I was talking to did furnish me with the President's name, but couldn't give me his address, I thought this was rather odd, one would have thought she didn't have a clue as to what's corporated address was OR BETTER YET WAS INSTRUCTED NOT TO GIVE IT OUT. Sometimed the computer can be a godsend because now I do have corporates address and I do INTEND to write him as he should be aware as to what's going on within his company. Thank you GUY D KORSGEN

I have been an avid Kohls shopper until yesterday and will probably stop stopping there. They were providing $10,Kohls cash for every $50.00 spent. I bought a $500, gift card for my daughter for Christmas, and they said they don't give Kohls cash when you buy a gift card, because they don't consider that merchandise Let's see...they know have $500 MORE on their books, than if I gave her the cash. IF I gave her cash she could use it ANYWHERE, but with the Kohls gift card she is limited to using it Kohls, so essential what Kohls is stating is we aren't going to reward you for ABSOLUTELY purchasing something at Kohls, but if you by chance has some extra money to come and buy something at certain time we give out $10.00 in Kohls cash for every $50.00. Added t o that once t hey have my $500.00, there is no getting it back, it is $500.00 in the Kohls in their corporate account WHen I asked the customer service department how is it not merchandise when they know have $500.00 they didn't have before, how is that not merchandise. To make it real simple if I have two jars of jelly beans and I tell my kid for every 50 jelly beans you put in a particular jar and it can only be that jar, I'll give you 10, and she puts in 50 jelly beans in the jar, and she asks me for the 10 and I say, I'm sorry those are jelly beans in the jar, just not the right ones.

i have placed 3 orders with kohls.com since thanksgiving, one has shipped, the other 2 have not. it has been over 8 days since the order was placed, i will never shop with them again.
