On April 9th, I went to the KOHLs store on Gosford Lane in Bakersfield, Cal. The customer satisfaction leaves a lot to be desired. In short, I will never go into that store again. Also, I will never shop KHOLs again. I returned a gift item of 2-3 months and they offered me $2.00 in return. The tags were still on the item. The hassle was one of THE worst in my shopping career. I called the manager she was too busy: and I spoke to Bernice ( the supervisor). She "Thanked" me for my call and would investigate. I left the store after a shocking haggling scene with their Customer Service and never did get compensated for my returned item that I left on the counter. My card will be cut up and I am canceling my account once and for all. They are hippocrites to the continuing overhead store broadcasting of their "NO hassle" customer return policy What an oxymoron statement! Beware ...Jacky Solis
After an incident at your Westland Michigan store I will no longer step foot in one of your stores again. I have been a good customer over many years but after the way I was treated recently, it doesn't seem to matter. After purchasing many items of clothing for my granddaughter, I realized that they were the wrong size. I exchanged them for the next size without incident. My granddaughter still did not fit into them properly so I needed to exchange them again. I found the sizes I needed and went directly to customer service and made the even exchange, and refunded a couple that I couldn't replace for the next size. No problem. I continued to shop for a couple of hours. After making my purchases, I left the store to go home. It was then I was apprehended and accused of shoplifting and fraud at the service counter during the exchange transaction! I was treated as if I were a criminal by store security. They told me that they had me on camera as putting something in my bag. I had my exchanges in the Kohl's bag and my intended purchases in my own shopping bag that I had brought with me. I did make those purchases and that was not the issue. When they realized that I didn't try to shoplift anything they accused me of fraud within the exchange transaction. After going through item by item on my receipt(and there were many), they told me there were two that were not accounted for. I co-operated with them during this ordeal, even though I was insulted to be accused of this. They must have realized that I was not guilty of what they accused me of. They wanted me to sign a letter stating that I had left the store with two unpaid for items. I refused to because I did not. I knew I was not at fault of anything. After they let me go I went out to my car and examined my receipts and found one of the so called unaccounted items that they had overlooked.(?) The second item I could not find specifically by the SKU #, however there was one transaction that was done twice with a separate receipt showing so. The number of transactions equaled the number of items in my bag. It very well could have been a mistake at the service counter when exchanging the clothes. Never did security consider this. They let me go, but I feel I was mistreated and wrongfully accused. I will not shop at Kolh's again. You have lost a very loyal customer.
Glenna, no ones wants to see your ugly ass self! get over your crone self girl.

I HOPE SOMEONE IN THE COROPORATE OFFICE READS THIS!! I WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOU ABOUT THE STORE IN WILMINGTON NC. I WORKED THERE FOR A YEAR AND MY SON WORKED THERE FOR TWO YEARS. MY SON AND I HAVE BOTH LEFT THERE. THE 2 MAIN PEOPLE ( ROBIN AND STACY) THAT RUN THAT STORE COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE EMPLOYEES. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MAKING MONEY TO FILL THEIR POCKETS. THEY HAVE ONE PERSON THAT IS A SUPERVISOR THEY NOT ONLY DOES DRUGS BUT SELLS IT. HIS NAME IS SCOTT. HE IS THE SUPERVISOR FOR THE MENS MISSES AND JUNIORS DEPARTMENTS. HE HAS ALREADY BEEN JAILED FOR THIS ONE TIME. MY POINT IS IF YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO BE A DRUG FREE COMPANY AND YOU CARE YOU BETTER START DRUG TESTING YOUR EMPLOYEES. ALSO SCOTT IS SUPPOSE TO BE A REPRENTATIVE OF THAT STORE IN WILMINGTON NC AND IN MY OPINION HE ISN'T. THE REASON I LEFT IS BECAUSE I GOT TIRED OF BEING DISRESPECTED AND NOT GIVEN ANY HOURS. THE HOURS WERE GIVEN TO THE PEOPLE THAT WERE LIKED BY ROBIN!! MY SON LEFT BECAUSE THEY KEPT HIM ON THE PAYROLL FOR 6 WEEKS AND DID NOT GIVE HIM ANY HOURS.THE BOTH OF US HAVE TO WORK. WE EVEN LOST OUR PLACE WE LIVED BECAUSE WE WEREN'T GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE THE MONEY WE NEEDED TO MAKE. WE BOTH LOVED WORKING FOR KOHL'S BUT HAD TO LEAVE BECAUSE OF THE DISRESPECT FROM STACY AND ROBIN AND NOT GIVEN A CHANCE TO MAKE THE MONEY WE NEEDED TO MAKE.THANK YOU FOR READING THIS!!!!

Overall, I am very happy with Kohl's as a whole. The return policy rocks. I had an issue with a very rude customer service employee at a store in regards to a price adjustment. After she rudely insulted me, I took the issue to her boss, the store manager. He addressed the issue immediately. When I've had questions regarding an online purchase, the customer service representatives have been polite and helpful. The Kohl's sales and $10 cash back offers are fantastic.
Dear Sir/Madam, I can not begin to tell you how disgusted I am with Kohls. I've shopped at Kohls for years and have been a MVP charge customer for years. I think it's sickening how Kohls is taking advantage of customers where Levis are concerned and if you're doing it with Levis, what else are you doing it with? When I think of Kohls, I in the past thought of good mid-western values, part of the reason you have had my business, but what you're doing now is sick and should be illegal and if not, I think laws should be passed to protect the consumer from shady companies like Kohls, so things like this can not happen. Levis 505's, you've had them for $34.99 for years, occasionally you would reduce them to $32.99 on sale, now all of a sudden the regular price is: $54.00? And what makes matters worse, you're taking labels and covering up the $34.99. It's sick!!!! Then you make it sound as if people are getting deals if they use their charge card and additional amount, but now even with that additional amount, the jeans are still higher then your original price. Even your cashiers and management at one particular store thought this new practice was foul. You can claim the cost of Levis has gone up, but that would be a LIE, because you're covering up the ORIGINAL TAGS OF $34.99 with Kohls tags which are easily removed. I refuse to deal with such a store when I can just as easily go to Macys, JCPenny's, Sears, the various Levis stores etc etc etc. I told the lady at the cashier that I can just go up two exits to the Levi store and pick these up for $34.99, she then told me that Kohls would match their price. Well that is stupid. When I walk into a KOHLS store I expect... NO, I demand the best price possible and if you're not able to provide me the best prices, then I will take all my business elsewhere. I'm going to do a YouTube video on this and show how you're covering up the tags, I've also got my receipt of what I've paid, I am also considering contacting the BBB and the Attorney General of Wisconsin. Shame on Kohls. Shame shame shame shame shame shame shame shame shame. Chuck Porter Southern California
The worst company I have ever worked for. Unorganized and completely ignorant people. To everyone who shops there- the only reason it seems you get a big discount is because their marketing technique is to markup there items and then mark them back down meaning you dont really get a discount.
Kohls needs to figure out if the people shopping there are consumers or customers. If you want consumers there a dying breed & you can treat them like crap. If you want customers & treat them like cash cows you will go out of business. I my family & friends will no longer shop there because of your lack of common sense & your eccessive corporate greed has overruled good business practices.
I have done business with Kohl's for years without a problem. I moved over a year ago and did change my address on your page. I have received a couple of deliveries after the changes were made and it worked fine. Now I place a 200 dollar order, and yes may have taken for granted that it would select the correct address (like I said it worked fine before) and now my 200 dollar package was delivered (supposedly) to my old address. I called for assistance and they told me to go talk to the people at the address and ask for it (yeah right in today's economy, that's going to work) and of course they haven't seen it. Now I have to pay for it, did not receive it, and have to go buy my daughter's summer clothes all over again. How do I know it was even delivered because the UPS delivery doesn't require a signature, it was left on a front porch, during the middle of the day. I want some resolution to this issue. I guarantee without it I tell everyone via facebook/friends/etc about this poor service and I cut up my Kohl's card.
The worst shopping experience ever in Kohls
I don't know what is going on at the Monroe,Ohio Ecommerce but they really need to get rid of some ops managers! Nothing is done in an organized manner and all shifts are treated so differently. There should be equal treatment across the board but there isn't. They will give first and third shift hours of notice of VTO's but not second, they are lucky to get an hours notice. Second shift does every ones work while they other shifts are only made to do what they normally do. For instance, our shift is made to unload trucks when they are in replens but other shifts will do not have to do any unloading. No one ever explains to us why they decide to make the decisions they make, we are just left up in the air wondering why this shift does this or why this shift doesn't do that. In my opinion every shift should do the following: Run the sorter, pack, pic and replens that are in the outbound area. This way every one is treated equally on all shifts that are in outbound. I am tired of hearing the reason we don't is due to shifts overlapping. There wouldn't be an overlapping if each shift goes to a different department when the other shift comes in. The next shift coming in should be taking over the sorter or replens so the next shift could do the sorter or replens and so on. If there is a lack of people in inbound then why isn't there hiring for those departments outside of the shift? If people wanted to work inbound then they were hired they would have requested to be in those departments. Its as though no one cares about the employees and what makes them happy, its all about numbers with this place and it makes me sick. I was hired as outbound and that is where I would like to stay for my entire shift! At one point I loved my job but now I dread going to work because I don't even know where I am going to be for the day. I hear that they want us to be happy yet they don't ask what will make us happy. I get some people have crazy ideas on what will make them happy but to me having a daily routine knowing where I will be every day is what makes me happy and others that are on my shift. I don't understand how this company can say they are wanting to make the customer happy when they have orders that sit at the sorter for fours hours waiting to be sorted or packed. If they would allow second shift to work at the sorter then there wouldn't be orders waiting for the next shift. Does this sound like the company cares about getting orders to the customer? Speaking of showing differences, why do full time people get to buy vacation time and part time doesn't? Does this company have any fairness across the board any where? Get a grip and hire some people in upper management that is about the employees below them and not what they can do to get a bonus check. All we ask is to be treated the same across the board, all shifts do the same job in their area, notices of VTO's be offered equally and in the same advance as all the other shifts. I really don't think that is a lot to ask, do you?
On February 06, 2011, I made a Payment on my account via the internet, due date, February 10, I entered a new checking account number following the instructions on line. When I received a notice that my statement was available on February 14, it reflected a charge of $25 for a returned check. I was very surprised as this account contained more money than the payment required. I immediately called your 800 number and was told that the check was returned due to an incorrect checking account number. The person at the call center could not give me the checking account number and reassured me that a letter would be sent out with this information. As of this date I have not received any information. On February 16, I stopped at the store, paid my balance less the $25 charge, as this has not been resolved to my satisfaction. The person at the counter told me that the information I wanted (my checking account number was not available to her) and directed me to the customer service phone in the store. I used the phone, and requested a supervisor, I was given the name Amed, I was told that he wasn’t available and they would give him my name and number and he would call me within 48 hours. The 48 hours would have ended Friday, February 18th. I called again this week the call center person gave me the supervisor’s voice mail and I left a message with my name, account number and phone number. As of this date no one has called me.. In addition this call center operator said she would follow up on this situation to make sure that someone called me. As of March 2, 2011 no one has called me. I have no way to see what checking account number was submitted as when I access the information on the internet web site, I can only view the last four numbers which are correct, the remainder of the account show up as x’s.. Without being able to see what numbers were entered into your system, and no one can give me the account number, I am under the impression that I am being charged $25 for no valid reason. The burden of proof is on me and I have no way to prove that my account number was correct or incorrect. I pay other accounts via e-checks and have never had this problem as I am able to see my account number. I did most of my Christmas shopping there and was so pleased with the quality of the merchandise that I signed up for your e-mail notices, on December 26th. I was told that I would be receiving a $5.00 coupon via e-mail to spend at the store. I receive all your advertisements, but no coupon. I expected that someone would have given me the common courtesy of returning my phone call. $25 may not be a lot of money to a manager, but when one is on a fixed income it means I will not be spending this money at your store At this point I am very disappointed with Kohl’s management. and will be telling my friends and family about how poor your customer service is.
I wish to start a boycott of all Wisconsin based corporations like Kohls in response for your the states anti-union governor. As an American, I believe in equality and if workers have to lose their livelihoods, then the stock holders of this company should too. I invite everyone to join in.
To whom it may concern: Kohls is a great place to shop but the management there is horrible. Being an employee has it's perks, however the treatment is questionable. There is favoritism that goes on in store 607, either they like you or they don't like you, regardless of sonority. One supervisor Alice, talks to you like you're literally retarded & only wants you to do what's best for her needs & not what's best for the store. Despite the other jobs I hav worked in the past, Kohl's is a place where it needs a union to fight for the employees. Who do I talk to about this unfair management? ...by the way, Ryan Post that ring you bought for your wife & 16months later the diamonds fell out, Kohl's should be able to exchange it or take it back because jus last month a woman walked in our store & brought in old clothes without tags, no receipt, that she bought here years ago& customer service still gave her money back or store credit. So, if she can get credit for cleaning out her closet, then why can't you at least exchange the ring you bought for your wife?
my daughter worked at carbondale store while her husband is in the military and deployed to iraq. he was allowed 2 weeks of rest and relaxation and planned ofcourse returning home to his new bride. my daughter contacted her superiors and explained situation and requested that two weeks of time off so that she may spend it with her husband. everyone at kohls management department agreed upon her two weeks off. my daughter also managed to have a coworker take over 3 of her shifts. After my son-in-law returned to battle, my daughter returned to work. Upon her arrival and her scheduled work time she was told she had been fired. the reason for her termination was because she missed two weeks of work. what the hell? i honesty can see where kohls supports our military and families and plan on spreading the word thru letters to the editors and word of mouth. DO NOT SHOP AT KOHLS DEPARTMENT STORES!!!!
I hate kohls. You cant reach anyone to complain and I am angrier then Ive been in a while. The fraud which they perpetrate with sales that have NO merchandise in ant store. The fraud of the prices that go up three days BEFORE the end of the sale. I have HAD IT! KOHLS YOU ARE HISTORY..MY MVP CARDF IS SHREDDED. SCREW YOU.
I would really like to commend three of your associates at the Brentwood, California, 94513 store #758. I had trouble getting help in bedding (ergo the 4*, not 5) and I saw a phone on the wall and picked it up and told the person I needed help in bedding. After 10 minutes, I called again and the person who answered the phone this time, (Danielle) came right to my aid. She helped me look and look for the comforter set I wanted on the floor, on the kisok, on line and none could be found. (There were 3 on display, none in a pkg ready to go; none in my California King size.) Danielle took my phone number and promised to call me today. Hurray! While checking out, Doreen asked if I had a charge account, which I did not and she proceeded to help me with the account info. Then, she told me I could ask for a rain check on the comforter set I wanted. Then she told me that I could have the 30% off the item even though it would not be on the same day I opened an account Hurray! Hurray! Today I called to check to see if the item had come into the store as Danielle told me a truck was due to deliver today. Ashley answered and not only did she look once more for the item, she checked the kisok as Danielle and I had done and then, on line and then Ashley asked if anyone had checked other stores to see if it was in stock somewhere else. I said no and Ashley said she'd be happy to go do that checking and would call me back with the info. Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! I love Kohl's Michele D.
I don't understand why people get upset when they are asked for identification. It's for YOUR protection! What if YOUR card got stolen, and no one asked for identification? I'll be you'd be pretty ticked off that the clerk didn't ask for a photo id.
