I shopped at your Kohls store on Limonite in the Corona, CA area today. The store manager, Nancy would not honor combined coupons when both coupons clearly stated "may be combined with other offers." One coupon was $10 off $30 from the newspaper, and the second coupon was $5.00 off anything directly from Kohls via email. Nancy stated that two dollar off coupons may not be combined. There is no stipulation printed on the coupon, and what this store manager is doing is Bait and Switch (customer baited in with coupons that state "may be combined" and then switching at the register to "No, they may not be combined." I read the stores policy on their website and it clearly states multiple percentage off coupons may not be combined, however, nothing is stated about dollar off coupons. I had contacted Kohl's corporate office about six months ago after having this same situation with Nancy at this store, and the corporate office explained they would contact her and apologized for her making up her own policy. Nancy told me today that her corporate office never contacted her regarding this issue. Does Kohls follow through on anything? They love to bring us in with coupons but don't want to honor them. When Nancy has declined to honor the Kohls coupon in the past, I took it to a neighboring competitor and they happily honored Kohls coupons. The competitor said they love to get Kohls customers in their stores. Nancy needs to be re-trained as a store manager on Kohls policy.

Dear Kohls, My stepdad recently lost his job and he and my mother can barely buy anything or support my four other siblings. Since school is coming up, obviously they are looking for school clothes. My mother found some coupons online that saved her a TON of money. First time she went in, she talked to the Assistant Manager and she said she could use them. Before she even came in she made sure she could use them, she CALLED! Second day, she came in to use them again and had to do multiple transactions, which was fine. Her cashier was fine with it, and so was the manager. Now, for some reason, another lady with FOUR YEARS of service (apparently) came over and started talking down to her, as if she was LUCKY to shop at Kohls. Talking to my mother as if she was trash. She is absolutely mortified. She was standing at the register doing nothing wrong, some people around her, and this person thinks it's ok to come over and degrade my mom. I will not have this. When I call tomorrow, yes, WHEN not IF, this lady will be fired. My mom may be calm but she is emberassed. Imagine getting a call from your mom because some lady pretty much called her trash. Can you imagine that? Is that customer service? No. Now, as I was saying. My mother may be calm but I am not. You will wish you never spoke to me by the end of the phone call. Thank you, Kohls Corporate.

I have been a Kohls card holder since 2008. Today I cancelled this account. All the negative comments on here reflect the ill-mannered policies being created by Corporate Kohls. Kohls charge cards use to be issued by Chase Bank, now they are issued by Capital One. You know... the "Whats in Your Wallet" cradle-robbers! If you can recall all the questionable practises perpetuated by Capital One, you will know to stay away from this financial institutions. Since "Whats in Your Wallet" moved in, Kohls has been going downhill. Unless Kohls get out from their commitment with Capital One, it will see to their demise. * Customer Service - Poor * Online Service - Fair * Management - Poor * General Quality - Fair * Corporate Integrity - Poor Overall Star Rating Average: 1.4 Stars Nice knowning ya Kohls!

My sister had been working at the kohls store in Burlington washington since day one from when this store opened. never called in sick, never was late and infact would cover for customers that did all of the above, whenever she was called in she would be there. She had an emergency which ended up with a surgery obviously couln't call in sick to work on her working day, and was fired do to this. She went in spoke to her manager and was told there was nothing that could be done. this is bs! my sister had a miscarage and on top of that painful thing ends up without a job! way to go kohls you sure know what employees to keep =D the ones that are ripping you off!

Kohl's deserves no stars. I was a Kohl's associate for almost three years. The management at my store gave their employees absolutely NO RESPECT. One of the happiest days of my life was terminating my employment with them. Now I've been in a seemingly never ending nightmare trying to get reimbursed for an uncashed check issued to me way back in September of 2009. It was a check lost in mail transit. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to get ANYONE at " Kohl's Corporate HR" to help me. This "run around" has been going on for 6 months as of today. I will never walk through their doors again.

Dear Kohls, Let me start out by saying I was an avid Kohls shopper but never again. I have closed my account and will gladly take my business somewhere else. My daughter placed a large order on Kohls.com on July 13th, expecting to receive Kohls cash for the amount of her purchase. When we never received the email for the cash we called customer service and were told that although her order confirmation was dated July 13th, it was actually 15 minutes too early when it reached the Kohls.com location which is central standard time and, therefor, she would not receive the Kohl's cash. What's with that? If that's the way you're going to operate, I suggest you put the central standard time on the confirmation when the order is placed. We were told this information is stated on the website but after 15 minutes of searching, we could not find it. Now I just laugh when I hear advertisements about your great customer service! I'm sad to say I will no longer be shopping at your store.

I would like to know where can I buy return or broken jewelry from you.

The are pathetic in Bruceville location Elk Grove, California. They enforce their fitting room policy. For example, when I dressing in the mens fitting room, here comes a woman undressing and trying on clothes right next my stall. I understand we as men are not allowed in the woman fitting, then why people, should we let them be in ours. This was brought up to the management attention and I didn't prevail, because it continued be happening. These are people who are in management people, that we are going to employed in the job market. I happen to believe this will scary in the workforce, cause they didn't nothing from their previous job, then what makes you think they are going to do anything when they move on their next job. I know, if i was in management in a company I wouldn't want to hire these people, because this has been ongoing occurence. Here is a "rule of thumb" if your not man, then you don't belong there, its just that simple. What part of stupid you don't understand or english that you don't understand. If management can't keep people in their own dressing, then you shouldn't be working there, no excuses. Why would anybody want to shop there if they can't get there crap together. Why do we have to write negative feedback for their carelessness, its so sad.

To all of our customer, let me explain: .#1 For those of you complaining about having credit cards shoved down your throats, I do aplogize. However, please know that if we are not doing so, our work hours and jobs are routinely threatened. It's a vicious circle. #2 buying twenty newspapers for twenty ten dollar coupons does not mean you may use all of them. It says one per customer very clearly on the back of the coupon. Customers who take advantage in this manner are the reasons prices go up. #3 no discounts can be used on charity items or gift cards for the following reasons: A) charity items are just that. 100% of those proceeds go to the charity. Please have a heart. B) gift cards are for the designated amount. Giving a discount on this purchase discounts the amount of the gift card! Also, Kohls cash cannot be earned when the money hasn't actually been spent. It has only Bern transferred to a gift card! Most importantly, please understand that Kohls associates do not make up these policies. We may not even agree with them but we do have to follow them to keep our jobs. And in this economy any job is better than no job. We all want to have pleasant shopping trips and work days alike so maybe we should all just calm down and try to see each other point.

I enjoy shopping at my local Kohls in Ukiah Ca. Recently with the summer heat and a 9 month old baby, I decided to give Kohls.com a try. With a Kohl's card discount of 30 % I was very excited to get a good deal and not have to drive the hour south in the heat. I placed my order online June 28th 2010. I put my po box number in the shipping information box and the site would not let me use it. My guess, after receiving 1 0f 6 items and talking to customer service, was that because one of my items was shipped from a distributer by UPS, and not from Kohls. UPS does not ship to Po Boxes. My other 5 remaining items, 2 shipped from a warehouse in Ohio, and 3 from a DC in San Bernadino Ca, were sent Fed Ex Smartpost. My local Post Office does not offer postal delivery. So, because there was no Po Box number on my package they were all sent back to sender. I called kohls customer service and tried to track the packages, and let them know that I still wanted the items I had ordered. I gave them both my addresses and requested that they be shipped back to me UPS. After days of waiting and even weeks, I made calls back to Kohl's customer service and could not be told where my packages were. I finally did some research and contacted the warehouse in Ohio. I spoke to a man there, who had way more customer empathy than customer service, and he was able to locate the two items that were shipped back to his warehouse. He shipped them back to me via UPS and I just received them yeasterday. July 27th. So where are my other three items? I called Kohl's customer service again, obviously I have not learned my lesson, and the lady I spoke to could not give me any information as to where my remaining packages were, and that she had no more information than me. I decided to finally place a new order on the items I hadn't received until she told me she would have to charge me for those as well. I lost it. There is no way that I will be charged twice for items I haven't received! I told her to forget about it, cancel the new order, and that I would call the distribution center myself, like I did to Ohio, and get my packages on my own. I called them this morning and told a man my story. He said he would look for my package, or find out what happened to it and have the front desk call me back. I'm hoping they do, because at this point I am very frustrated. I ordered my items from Kohls.com in good faith. You pay for something, you should get it. But, in this case it's more like you ordered something, good luck! I understand that as a business you probably want to find the best, cheapest methods of shipping, but I think that their choice to save dollars is hurting their customer relations. Orders being broken up, some items being shipped from one part of the country, others from an other place, and different carriers being used is just crazy! Customer service people are not very helpful in these situations. If everything could have just been placed in one box, and shipped it would have been a lot easier. Now, if I want to cancel the items that have not got here, and re-order, I am going to have to watch my Kohls credit account and make sure that I don't get charged twice, after a two week waiting period? Not my idea of fun!!! Get it together Kohls. People are spending there hard earned money, in a poor economy and want to get there items. Im tired of waiting. I hope the DC in San Bernadino calls me back because any enjoyment I have had shopping at my Local Kohls store is quickly diminishing with everyday that passes that my shipment is not here. I will not support Kohls any longer if this doesn't get resolved, and I will spread the word to my friends, family and strangers.

To give this company even 1 star is an overstatement. I worked for store #1390 in Riverside, Ca. The "management" at this store is absolutely appalling. The executives at my store have no respect for the associates whatsoever. If they feel you are not doing your job correctly, they will yell at and reprimand you in front of customers. example: I was helping two customers when my supervisor came up, interrupted me, and then preceeded to scald me for having only solicited 3 credit applications in the last 4 days. Het told me I would be written up if I didn't "get my act together." When he walked away, I was in tears, and my customers, clearly uncomfortable , were left asking if I was okay. T his is the same supervisor who has a reputation of being a pervert becausr of all the inappropriate comments he makes towards female associates. Thestore manager is worst of all. Several times employees AND customers have seen her yelling at associates on the sales floor and over walkie talkie I even heard her once say to another manager about an associate, "you know that bitch looks like a slut." And this is how the entire management staff conduct themselves. And if you are an unhappy customer, don't expect the associates to provide you with answers, because they do not have any. "Training" means watching a few 30 minute videos, and learning the rest as we go. We won't give you the corporate number because we don't know it. Probably because if we did know it, we'd be calling everyday to report some new injustice. So if expecting great things means to you expect terrible customer service, uninformed associates, unprofessional management, and gossip, then shop at Kohls.

kohls can go to hell with everybody in it and for their loss prevention team or what ever they call themselves are all full of shit just cause your hispanic and mostly everybody in these two stores in bakersfield ca.are white they have loss prevention following you around because they think you are stealing but in fact we all no that its the fucken workers that take everything.they talk out of there ass and im talking about lp they get paid to do a job and they dont do it and then they get the wrong people but who cares as long as they think there doing there job so from me to you fuck you guys if anybody has had problems with the lp in any of the stores respond to this blog.

now for the people that gets gifts and they dont fit or you just dont like it and you return it with no receipt remember they have a no hassle free return policy but if they tell you they are going to send you a corporate refund dont believe them because you will never get it.and there gift cards at any time they can cancel it.for the people who who have returned items without the receipt when they give you your receipt after the return look at it real close if it has an a or s on it they reported those items stolen so becareful next time someone buys you something from kohls make sure you ask for the receipt because they will call you a thief but just not to your face thats why they use those two letters.there is your no hassle refund policy.there truly is a no hassle refund till you realize that you have lost your items and corporate refund or store credit.thank you kohls for calling so many people theives.

Hi General Manager, Corporate and Staff, I happen to be a customer at your Bruceville Location in Elk Grove, California for quite some time now. I knew many of the most recent people there that are no longer working. I become a loyalist as a customer until the most recent incident that took place this year. Since then, I knew management took over, there has been unprofessional that I couldn't quite expect. Earlier this year, approximately in March-June I been noticing that women has been using the men's fitting without any supervision while me being in there undressing. This to me has been a rare occurrence, due to the fact I thought Kohl's has some strict store policy that NO women are allowed in there and certainly men are not allowed in the women fitting room. I believe that women and men are treated on a equitable basis that men or women don't have any rights over each other fitting room and I have the right to my own privacy, but that doesn’t give right of the opposite sex to use the same fitting room. I have brought this to the attention of management and most certainly to Stephanie, Supervisor who I expected to take this serious, but unfortunately, that did not happen, due to the fact, it happen at least 3 times. I felt this has to be uncomfortable situation to me that needed to be address and some corrective action needed to take place with attention. I have brought this several times to the Supervisor in hopes that was brought to management that adjustment were made, and that when July 17, 2011 at 3:00pm in the afternoon, when an female employee and customer ran in and out the men fitting room while me undressing and trying out underwear. I brought this to management for the 3rd time and that when Tina Bettencourt, Manager, decided not to take my complaint serious without any provocation and escorted me and showed me the door with my underwear purchase in my hand. After and trying to reinforce issue for the 3rd time she, Tina Bettencourt did want to hear it and became abrasive. As being escorted to a register with 5 clearance items, 2 of the 5 identical brand clearance items were different price by a couple of dollars. I told Tina Bettencourt, that if she was going to adjust the price to match the clearance as the same price, and she became very rude and abrasive attitude and said, “what you see is what you get” and that she wasn’t going to change it even though they were same price and brand. I never been humiliate and embarrassed in a store before, all because of a store fitting policy. It was brought to my attention with surprises that Stephanie, Supervisor had mention she lets men to change in the women fitting all the time, but that wasn’t true, due to the fact, when I called an other Kohl’s Location at Arden Fair, Sacramento and spoke to Ashley, Store Manager, and mention that she maintains a strict fitting policy and couldn’t believe what I saying of what took place at that the Bruceville, location. Along, with a conversation with Ashley, there is an exception if the customer is disabled and that when an exception is accommodated with that instance. After, escorted out the store with overly priced items and the humiliation of making a vivacious scene that I’m so passionate of, because of right to privacy, I told myself that this shouldn’t of happen if management took this serious since day one. Below are the order of events. 1st occurrence, March 2011: A woman and a husband sharing the same fitting room while myself undressing. 2nd. Occurrence, May 2011: A woman used the same fitting room while myself and undressing after I mention to her that it was a fitting room and that when she gave me an attitude. I also address the issue to the Supervisor. Current July 17, 2011: When a female employee was still due not excuse herself in the fitting and taking and a strange woman was changing right next my fitting stall. My comments: 1st. I feel this happens to be an infringement of my civil right all because due to the fact nothing was done after bringing to the attention of management and they resorted and the wrong action. 2nd. Also, walked out purchase 5 identical brand underwear without any adjustment made because due to the fact it was all on clearance. 3rd. If I didn’t say anything, then it would be my fault for not bringing this to management while a woman undressing in the same fitting. I feel this happen to be bad conduct on management part and some corrective action needs to take place, because throughout my career in management for 25 years the customer is always right, even if you don’t believe them, they still make some valid points

Cathi- Employees are told from day 1 not to accept kohl's cash from customers, fair or not that is the rules and they are very clearly stated. Chuck- That is not a scam, those are white tickets, the original price of the jeans change and the employees print out white tickets with the new prices to cover the old price. What is the other option? ship every jean back and have Levi's take the sticker off and print out new ones? It is not a scam and Kohl's doesn't just raise prices for the heck of it.

I was shopping in a kohls department store in eagle pass. texas i was walking in the store and looking around at the candles. without noticing that there was a broken candle on the floor i walked too close to it and it sliced my pinky toe. i was bleeding sooooo much. i called and called them you know because i wanted them to pay for my hospital bill. it required stitches and cleansing but no one ever called be back it was as if nothing had ever happend. no one ever contacted me after that. i am very upset with kohls. it has been about two years since this incident and my pinky toe has a terrible scar on it and does not function as it should. i can not move it and on occasion it it hurts. i was 17 years old at the time.

I HAVE NEVER SHOPPED AT KHOLS BUT I kept getting a credit card in my name , but the funny thing is, I have never shopped there and I never will. so when I received the card I called them and this is what they said" WE GO TO THE FIRST NAME THAT APPEARS ON THE LIST OF ALL WHO SHARE THE FIRST & LAST NAME " THEY DIDN'T CHECK THEIR APPLICATION VERY WELL DUE TO THE PERSON WHO APPLIED FOR THE CREDIT CARD LIVES IN A DIFFERENT STATE .MY HUSBAND HIT THE ROOF WHEN HE SEEN THE CREDIT CARD COME IN THE MAIL, I CALLED KHOLS YOU WON'T BELEIVE WHAT THEY SAID " OH JUST THROW IT AWAY" AND I THOUGHT WHAT!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I CONTACTED THE FRAUD DEPT ON THIS MATTER YOU JUST DON'T THROW AWAY A CREDIT CARD AND I TOLD THE GENTLEMAN HE TOLD ME TO MAIL IT TO THE FRAUD DEPT AND THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS.THE BEST THING FOR EVERYONE OF YOU IS TO GET A CREDIT CHECK MAKE SURE YOU DON'T HAVE A CREDIT CARD YOU DIDN'T APPLY FOR THAT ISN'T BEING USED BY SOMEONE WITH YOUR NAME ON IT. DO NOT SHOP THERE!!!!

The stores have great products and excellent deals. They are not the problem .However,do not mail a cheque to the main office in Milwaukee. It's a scam. They will make sure they don't cash your cheque until after the due date and then deny receiving it. I have made 4 legitimate efforts to prove that they have cashed my $98.36 cheque.Total denials on their part that they have received anything.Of course,my charges are up to $134.00.They never sign any communication with a name and no one knows what is going on. They keep asking for more proof. Finally,I am simply going to chop my charge card. They are simply liars and crooks--master ripoffs. They can all go to hell!!

I went into your Aurora, CO store yesterday to purchase a pair of Levi 505 jean shorts that were priced at $21.95. The lines were long and i figured I could come back today and get an additional 15% off because of your sale. Lo and behold the item had been priced up to $24.95. i guess i need to look more carefully at how your sales work from now on. By the way, I didn't buy the item. I can get it at Amazon for the $21.95 and without tax, the cost is pretty much a push.
