I have gone to jiffy lube quite a few times and never had problem until I wentot the one on stassney lane in south austin tx.The manager David was really nice to me telling me this and that and trying to convince me that I needed all these things and I only went to get a transmission flush which they charged me $150 and they didnt even change my filter or the gasket pan.all they did was mess up my transmission, later that day I went to the store and when I got in my truck to leave my truck didnt want to reverse or even go forward.I had to get a tow truck and take it to aamco which by the way are great and they fixed everything for a way cheaper price than jiffy lube.I dont recommend jiffy lube to anyone....they over charge and do things that just plain and simply mess up ypur vehicles.Jiffy lube needs to rethink and retrain thier employees. They were no help when I went to tell them about what they did wrong....they were steady on telling me they werent going to do anything about it or refund my money.JUST DONT GO THERE AT ALL!!!!!!!
When your Customers & Employees are trying to tell you there unsatisfied, Is any one listening? I sure hope so, cause if your not fixing things sooner or later you will be out of BUSINESS!! The most powerful advertisement is word of mouth. One person can change the minds of 10,so then the 10 become 100. and so on and so on. Your corporate management team needs to listen, take every complaint to heart and investigate the problems. Everyone and even youself doesn't like getting screwed. JUST FIX THE ISSUES, TALK TO YOUR EMPLOYEES AND MOST OF ALL MAKE YOUR CUSTOMERS HAPPY, PLEASE!!!!!!!!
Very very bad experience! I left my car there overnight, spoke to someone to make sure that was fine and they sayed yes. Next morning I called as soon as they opened at 10am to let them know I would be there shortly to give them the key to my car so they could take a look at it, I would of left the key there but they didnt have a drop off box. Anyways they sayed it was fine, next thing I Know they called the police to impound my car because it was blocking the way. Its very disappointing specially because I called as soon as they opened to let them know I was going to be there shortly to make sure there was no problems and I spoke to one of theyr guy's the day before to make sure there was no problem with me leaving the car there. I have taken my car there since I got it for an oil change and I never tought they would treat theyr customers this way, so unprofessional, they didnt even called me back to let me know they where going to cal the police to impound it nor sayed that over the phone, as long as I was concerned it was fine with them since the day before. When I spoke to the manager he completely washed his hands off by blaming it on the police because they where the ones that towed it but they called them, makes no sense. Now I have to pay to get my car back and on top of that I need to go to the police department and pay for a police report! Its sad to know that they dont care about theyr customers and please dont say its ok to leave the car there when its obviously not, they could of well sayed that over the phone as soon as I called to let me know I had to be there ASAP to pick it up.
I used to work for Jiffy Lube and i must say that I have seen and heard it all. There is no place for anyone who claims sexual harrassment because if you do you will wind up being the one fired. Also they have been known to cause problems with peoples cars. Then they deny ever doing anything wrong because they do not want to pay for it. I have noticed more and more of their stores closing down. Thay are a rip off and I am glad i no longer work for them. Please keep in mind that the employees who try to upsell you will lose their job if they don't. It is the companies policy to make sure their ticket avaerage is as high as they can possibly get it. Otherwise they start cutting peoples hours who are just trying to make a living. I could go on and on about this place but the bottom line is that no matter who the corporate is they all have the same lame policies. Lucor and Jiffy Libe are the worst ever employers. And I would strongly reccommend if you own a fleet vehicle that is service by Jiffy Lube that you show your fleet manager this page. They have cost fleet companies millions in vehicle repairs due to their outdated misinformed computer systems.
My 17 year old son went to the Boerne Jiffy lube for a simple oil change, plain and simple you would think. The tech guy came out showing my son the cabin filter and told him he needed a new one asap. My son not knowing what the hell he was talking about agreed to it. He was charged $70 for a $15 cabin filter. Once he got home and showed me the receipt, I almost had a hard attack. My son works so he had paid out of his pocket for this. I immediately called Jiffy Lube and told them I was taking the car back and they were going to remove the cabin filter and refund my son's money. Twenty minutes later I had my son's money back, stopped at Auto Zone and bought the cabin filter for $15. Thank you Allan and Aaron at Auto Zone. Screw you Jiffy Lube!
Extremely rude man named Anthony works, more stands there, at the Los Angeles location at Santa Monica Blvd and Ave. I asked for the phone number of the Jiffy Live and he told me go google it. How rude! Pathetic customer service. I will go elsewhere. Replace him with someone that cares about generating and keeping business.
Got anything less than 1 star. Never go there again. They stink.
Tell me it will take 20 and I but I don't expect over an hour OR just tell me, don't lie to get my business. Next, I got pulled over after leaving... light out, in fact three but your recippt says Lights OK! Tried to call the location in Upland California and the number is disconnected! I can only hope it is because you are out of business! Been going there for over 15 years... the future is questionable. I have been a loyal customer for years now, never had a problem before this. I went to get a simple oil change and now have to replace my entire windshield wiper system. When they were checking the blades, they didn't put them back right because they closed the hood of the car on the passenger side one! I didn't notice until five minute later when I was trying to use the windsheild wipers to wash the windows and since it was caught, it snapped. I rushed right back there and all they could say was that it was not there fault and they didn't deal with them. I couldn't believe how rude and inconsiderate they were. I will defiantly be using some other service.
I am so PISSED about taking my SUV to Jiffy Lube store #272 Dixie Hwy Louisville,Ky...I normally take my truck to Carmax where I brought it from. I was hesitant to pull-over cause I saw they had no waiting. So I pulled in. Themanagerintroduced himself an said he was assistant manager last wk an today I'm the manager of this store. So,he was like you getting an oil change today? I said yes he quoated the price I was like wowww that's high he's like not for your type vehicle cause it uses high performance (synthetic)oil. I'm like yea I know what kinda oil it use that's what Carmax use,but my oil change is only $20 there. So,I went ahead and got the oil change. He comes out an tell me I need an air filter an it cost $25.99 I'm like dang so he says...I'll sale it to u for $10.99 I'm just trying to bring an keep customers. He came back out and said they didn't have my size filter. While standing there he yells over into the garage to the guy that's changing my oil NOT THAT OIL! HER TRUCK USES THE OTHER OIL! So,I'm looking like what! So he comses back out an says wll you just got a free motor flush cause he put the wrong oil n your truck. What!!! So,they finally get done with my truck. I went to O'Rileys brought an air filtor $8.99 they put it in for me. Had to go back to Jiffy Lube because they didnt reset my oil light. Nobody knew how to reset it. Then after calling around they finally found out how to reset my light. 3 days later I hear my motor knocking took it to my uncle he pulls out my dip stick my truck had no oil in it. What!!! R U SERIOUS!! Called Jiffy Lube their giving me the run around telling me my paperwork had the wrong engine info on it. From their computer system. Then they try an tell me that their gonna come out an look at my truck. When they get there they claim my truck had too much oil in it! Well yaw put the oil in it! So,I told them I would be contacting an attorney and let them handle it! Noway the oil disappeared an came back! Because I'm a woman they think I'm STUPID! I will never go back to ANY Jiffy Lube nor will I tell a friend or family member! Who forgets to put oil back in when you knew you took it out! They need to be SHUT DOWN! Talked to an attorney will be suing for a new motor.
The man I care for and love is a good honest hard working man in his 40"s He works for heartland corp, the company should be called heartless the corp whom runs and owns most Jiffy lube shops. He works his rear off.. it is almost 100 degrees outside under hot cars, hot liquids burning him daily, cuts bruises ect, he works long hours he has worked there 4 years and min wage is catching up to what he makes per hour.He strives to give the customers the best of care for their cars. Its the company who needs to care a little more for their employees so they can care more for there customers, they never get a raise in less they get so many cars in per month, they are pushed to go fast fast faster,Hold signs in the street while people yell horrible things at them, give them the finger ect to make a little over min wage to support their families.I can go on,please its not always the people who service your cars it is their bosses. He is a 5 star worker, the company o...he works under your car and a boss comes in and tells him he is to offer and get your coffee in 10 sec time from the time you walk in the door,he is under your car covered in oil,He Has to wash his hands and give you coffee in 10 seconds..I am not kidding. He has looked for other work but times are hard if we can just get company"s to care for people as much as they care about money..I pray you dont work for bosses like his
Cross threaded the oil plug! I went in to get the oil and filter replaced. They wanted/suggested I have all kinds of other things serviced based on mileage. I insisted they stick to the oil and filter. Three months later I went to my regular oil changing shop. They pointed out what happened. Normally you can remove the plug with your fingers after you crack it loose. This time it came out with the threads! Of course Jiffy Lube denied it and refused to help!

I went to Jiffy Lube #1119 today 8-4-12, 2097 s 1200 e salt lake city UT 84105 801-466 9789. Really wish i had not. I went there and they were busy. So i went outside to the picnic bench, on the side of the building. I could see inside every bay from this bench, if an employee came out to greet a new customer they had to walk past me to do so. It took about oh an hour, longer then normal but since they were busy i was not expecting it to be quick. I did how ever expect the same service as always. I was never asked what kind of oil i was never asked if i wanted my air filter changed. Nothing! When i noticed my car being pulled out of the bay and parked across the street. I walked oh say 10 feet to get to the office. I was then told the price was $30 more then expected. This is because they (with out talking to me or asking me) put high mileage oil in my car. I don't put high mileage oil in my car, no reason too yet. When i asked the lady Nikki why is was that price she said that no one could find me. I then asked her why that was and why no one came looking for customers in areas designed for customers to sit. Nikki then said that they only look for people in the office even though there are only say 8 chairs. I still don't know if my air filter needed to be changed. If my fluid were low, or what. Never told this. When i asked for a manager they said he was not there that day. This person (Nikki) had no customer service what so ever. It was not hey i am sorry, or anything, It was my fault for not being in the office. I am very unsatisfied! They have lost a loyal customer unless this gets rectified.
I applied for jiffy lube in myrtle beach SC. And I was told because of my background I didn't get the job. I am a victim of identity theft, in 2 different states. Noone called to even ask me about my background. I was told I had the job as long as my background cleared. So then I wonder is it because i'm a female? I love to get dirty. I love working on cars. So tell me if it was my background why wasn't I given the chance to prove myself? Melissa Bennett
they are sucks. don't know how to do oil changes here in grandprairie texas next to QT gasstation. There manger had very bad atitude. he was busy to talking on his celll phone and avoding customers.
I have had my Buick serviced at Jiffy Lube but my last experience with them will be my last! I just wanted an oil change but the attendant called me out and showed me a very dirty air filter and said they would replace for $29. I said no since it an exoribant price. They apparently showed me a filter of another since the next day I went to an auto parts store and purchased one for 7 dollars which they installed free. The crowning blow was when we pulled out the filter it was only slightly soiled and the installer said you dont need a new filter. This is out right fraud and deceptive business practice.
One thing I can't stand is a compnay that trys to rip a consumer off. I went to the Jiffy Lube in Boca Raton, FL. Just for an oil change. The guy at the front desk comes to me saying my freon is low, replace two filters, that my brake fluid is very low and that's an indication that I need new brakes. I told him "NO" I didn't want them to do it. I told him I will have my trusted mechanic look at it. The guy insists that I use them and I say "NO" again. By this time he is mad at me for not falling for his con. He walks away saying why don't you just take your car and go to your mechanic. Why did you even come here. I'm like WTF!! I went over to him and told him that was totally unprofessional and that I would never use such a company again. I brought my car to the mechanic and guess what? I didn't need a/c work.. I didn't need brake fluid or pads or anything else...only one filter looked dirty and I replaced it. The cost $20. The cost if I had jiffy lube slide it in? 49.95. I would never go back to this company ever again.
My wife got an oil change done on my son's new car. They didn't tighten down the oil filter and it sprayed oil all over the car engine. My wife didn't see the oil as she was driving until she pulled into my garage. Now there is an oil streak 1 foot wide all the way up my concrete driveway and a puddle of oil in the garage. Once she noticed the problem she took the car back to Jiffy Lube in Champlin, MN. They claimed they tightened the filter and wiped the car down. It is still dipping oil in an area roughly 4 feet wide. Don't know if they have the oil filter on correctly yet or didn't wipe the car down.
