Biggest rip off Theifs
Jiffy Lube in Myrtle Beach, SC ripped of my wife. They sold her a battery at $160.00 that was not needed. They over charged for a belt & all of their so proclaimed services. They claimed the car would break down & give her problems.. This is not unusual because they used the same tactics with my daughter in law. They should be arresred & put in jail.
Poor service
Hello, I went to Jiffy Lube a few months ago for an oil change. I went to 1098 East Thompson Boulevard Ventura, CA 93001. The people there seemed friendly at first, but things quickly changed. As I was paying, one of your employees told me that I need to do a tranny flush (that would cost almost $200 dollars). Which I found very odd considering I looked at the fluid myself and it was a very clear strawberry pink color. I knew that there as nothing wrong with my fluid. I was also told I had a few oil leaks that I needed to get fixed right away, or my car would have major complications. Well the only complication I've had so far is from taking my car into your Jiffy Lube. After all of the trouble from my last oil change, I decided to take my car elsewhere. Where they informed me that they couldn't do the oil change because the people who did it last (which would be you), stripped the ring and tightened it so hard that my oil pan had to be replaced. So after spending $40 dollars for your very poor service and oil change. I got to spend my Christmas Eve morning at my mechanics to fix your mistakes. So after $140 dollars for parts, and $100 dollars for labor, I was finally on my. So not only did I get terrible service from your employees but I also had damages to my car that cost a lot more than just a basic oil change. I really wish I could get a refund on the money that I spent at your facility and have you pay for the damages to my car. I can produce the receipts if needed. You have lost a customer and I will make sure to spread the word about your company in the hopes that you will lose a few more. Have a nice day. Colleen Woldt
Service
I was in Reno this morning when the temperature was 24 degrees. My heater was only sending out cold air and the drive back to my home town was two hours, North. I panickied just a bit but was directed to Jiffy Lube on South Virginia Street. The team that works there fixed it fast and I was on my way home in no time. Thank you so much fellas!!.
My most recent experience at jiffy lube brought me back to the location a few days later. I drive a VW Jetta which has a skid plate that is removed to change the oil. A few days after the oil change I noticed my car making noises like something was dragging. It was the skid plate that wasn't installed properly. At the return visit to reinstall the skid place my first interraction with the worker was that they were trying to get the person fired who worked on my car. Yikes. I arrived with one person waiting. I waited and waited and waited and waited while watching customers get assistance and leave. I was there for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Also between the two workers it was like a song and dance team, one worker wat telling the other worker what to say and then back again. I'll be postin my experience on every social media outlet I know of because I don't think this is an appropriate way to handle customers.
Cabin filters for fifty
I am a regular at jiffy lube, I have a couple of car that they service for oil changes. This was the first time I got ripped up and thrown out with the wash. The person pulled the cabin filter and said we can replace it. I said sure and they did but the filter cost 12.99 at any auto part store but the filter they charge for was 50.00 freaking dollars. I asked them about the price and they said its the price to replace the filter. It took them 35 seconds. Wow that insulting and just wrong. You charge 50.00 dollars for a 15.00 dollar filter. Well thanks for the over price items and service. I have no choice but to take a look at the company that service oil changes and say, No Thanks I know when I'm being ripped off. The first times on me but you won't get the second change. I have about 13 friends, 23 family members and a host of associates that I have referred to you. Now here's the truth I just sent them the events and we all made a pack to not go to a place that takes advantage of the customer by over pricing and over charging them. Thanks to your 50 dollar fifty I have referred them to a local shop that agreed to service them and give them a great price. So thanks but no thanks to giving you my money and time. Is 50 worth 500 or 5000 in losses. Keep this up and your bottom line suffers.
Jiffy Lube rip off!
I went to Jiffy Lube on Bear Valley road in Hisperia, Ca. They asked me if I want the $19.00 basic oil change or the $24.00 signature oil change? I said the basic $19.00 oil change will do. They escorted me into a waiting room to where I couldn't see what they were doing. Twenty minutes later they come into the waiting and give me a 51.00 oil change bill saying they performed service on my car theysaid was needed! They drained the air pressure from the left front tire which caused my car to pull to the left when I drove home. I will NEVER go to Jiffy Lube again!
JL blows
i went to JL on thousand oaks blvd and erbes road in thousand oaks. I wanted an oil and filter change. I inquired about synthetic and was told it was 80 bucks. i declined. then they didn't want to honor my $10 off coupn. They reluctantly complied. Then when it was done i walked up to my car to see oily hand prints and blue paint transfer on both front fenders of my exterra. I said to them that this wasn't there before and they shrugged and said idk. I had to talk with the manager just to get the paint of my car. then i had to go home and wash my car to get all the petroleum off. i bet they didn't even change the filter out. I will never go to JL again!
I went to the new Jiffylube located in Monument, CO. I requested the standard oil change for my van. I was subjected to a very high pressure sales pitch for them to perform services I did not want at this time. The store manager was very condescending towards me when I rejected his efforts to sell me these additional services! I will not be returning.
Grants Pass Oregon worst shop ever, I went in he charged my for services I did not want and over charged me. I was in a hurry so I just went to leave. Then I felt my steering wheel which is a spoon sports wheel over 200 dollars hand stitched, it was covered in oil and ruined. Also my shifter seat were covered in oil. When I sat down it ruined my pants and my polo shirt. So over all I am out 15 dollars on the change and over 400 in ruined oil stained property.I am not happy at all and I am calling my attorney today.
I HAD A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE AT JIFFY LUBE ON FUQUA ST NEAR 45 SOUTH. MY CAR IS A HAPPY CAR THANKS TO THEIR WHOLE STAFF OVER THERE.I GOT MY WIPER BLADES THERE TOO!!! THANK GOD BECAUSE IT WAS RAINING AND MY OLD WIPER BLADES WERE TRASH. I HAD A CHANCE TO ACTUALLY SPEAK TO THE MANAGER...HE SPOKE ENGLISH!! WOW!!! THEY WILL BE THE ONLY ONES TOUCHING MY CAR!!!
I just went to the Jiffy Lube on Fuqua and Sabo in Houston Texas. I had a great experience. They are professional at this location. The manager Lance was helpful. And the guy servicing my car named Cliff did an excellent job. If it wasnt for their fast service i wouldnt have made it to work on time.!! THIS LOCATION DESERVES 5 STARS!!!!
I came to jiffy lube in reading pa the Exeter branch. The guys there were very thorough and professional, they went over ever detail of service performed. I actually felt like I was treated too nice being used to the typical experiences. I will return again thank you
jiffy lube on Mason rd, in Katy, tx has got to be one of the worst places to go to. First, they try to push unnecessary stuff on you and then they broke the latch on my car. They were not apologetic at all. They basically said it was my problem to deal with. Call me crazy but if i bring a car in one condition, i should recieve it in the same condition right?!?
Third time that they overfilled the oil. This was not all at the same shop, either! Yesterday, I even TOLD the guy that the last two times were overfilled....and they STILL did it! Also said tranny was leaking..... I have 5-speed....but they said "N/A" to servicing any tranny fluid. DO NOT GO THERE!!!
DO N0T GO TO JIFFY LUBE THEY MESSED UP PEOPLE CARS AND DO NOT WANT TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT!!! THERE STAFF IS NOT QUALIFIED TO DO THE JOB AT ALL!!! I went to Jiffy Lube two weeks ago in Lake Worth, Fl. I went at 2pm I did get out of there until 8:30pm. I went for a oil change and I specific told them do not touch my transmission at all. They told me that I need a tranmission filter I said fine but do not flush my transmission. They did it anyway!!! and I have seen other customers back because there car was not done properly!!!! They put the wrong oil in my motor my transmission
We have a daughter in college in Orem Utah. When time came to have the oil changed I advised her to go to Jiffy Lube where I have always been treated well. When she called me after she left she told me that since she was over on her oil change mileage they had to do a cleaning of the engine, Bull! The total bill for a young lady putting herself through college to be an ASL interpreter was over $70.00. When I have my oil changed at our local Jiffy lube it is $24.00 and one of your competitors charges $21.00. Please tell me why you have to take advantage of a young lady that is working so hard to improve not only her life but the lives of so many others. There was a time in this country when if you wanted a larger percentage of your market you did a better job then your competitor. Today you screw the few customers you have and try to make a quick buck. Well not any more, I will never take any of our cars to a Jiffy Lube again.
I was at the jiffy lube in Columbia S.C. on Hard Scrabble Rd. and they charged me 66.dollars and change and said they serviced my tranny and that it is leaking bad and they will fill it for free the next 3 months lol it has not leaked at all not even when Iam driving it... DO NOT GO TO JIFFY LUBE.... ITS A RIP OFF THANKS CHARLOTTE SWIFT P.S. I DONT EVEN THINK THEY CHECK ANYTHING BECAUSE I HAD TO HAVE THE OIL CHECKED AT PEP BOYS AND IT WAS LOW .....
ihad my oil changed at jiffy lube #2334 on soquel ave in santa cruz. after my change was done and was pulled out of the service bay, the manager kept me waiting over 15 to pay my bill. every time a car pulled up, he would go to the cars and get the information from them. this went on for a long time. when he finally came back into the office, i told him that to make me stand and wait for 15 min,was very rude. he told me that he had to take care of the new customers. i told him i use to be a customer. he was under employed with only one service man and himself at the location. then the bill was crazy, i asked him what the extra charges were for and he said he would correct the bill. just thought i would let you know that there are many other oil change locations that want my business. the ford dealership 2 blocks away had oil changes for $29.95. that is where i am going next time. i have used JL for a long time, but this was the very last. He has lost you a customer. Good-bye Robert Belzer rbelzer@aol.com
About a month ago I bought a coupon book from Jiffy Lube when I had an oil change done, in the book was a coupon for 20 off an transmission flush, and a coupon for 10 dollars off of a fuel system flush, we took the car back to the Jiffy Lube in Arnold on Sept. 20, 2012 where we bought the coupon book from to have this work done and we did, but then they refused to take the coupons off, this is fraud to me and I am filing a complaint also with the Attorney General of Missouri, they should NOT sell the book then refuse to let you use the coupons.
My fiance brought my 2004 Nissan Altima into the Burbank jiffy lube on victory blvd. back in 2010. after changing the oil the FORGOT to replace the fill cap on the engine block. My fiance drove the car 40-50 miles until the oil was almost completely drained from the engine. She quickly bought some oil and refilled the engine, she found the cap still sitting on the engine itself. we contacted the jiffy lube directly and there response was this: 1) no apology 2) no reimbursement of new oil for engine (synthetic) 3) decline our insistence of paying to have the engine steam cleaned, but rather suggested spraying some engine degreaser around. MULTIPLE calls to the jiffy lube corporate office were NEVER returned. my engine was damaged as a result of running it dry.
