I received a coupon in the mail for a $19.99 oil change at Jiffy Lube and since I needed an oil change I took my car to the Jiffy Lube on Washington Ave in Palm Desert, Ca. and had them change the oil. Before starting the actual oil change, they showed me my cabin air filter that was dirty and they said it should be changed. I didn't think the cabin air filter was dirty enough to be changed so I told them to reinstall the original air filter. After the employees changed my oil and replaced the cabin air filter they drove my car out of the stall and said it was ready for me to pay the charges. I paid the bill and got in my car only to find one of those "throw away steering wheel covers and a screwdriver on the passenger side. Once I got home I needed to input a restaurant to my GPS unit in the glove box so I opened the glove box and in the corner of the glove box was a small white clevis pin and in the bottom of the glove box was a plastic rack and pinion unit about a half inch square and three inches long. The mounting ear of the rack and pinion was broken and a pair of pliers had been used on the mounting ears damaging it beyond repair. The employee and taken the rack and pinion off the glove box trying to get to the cabin air filter. The employee didn't need to take the rack and pinion off to get to the cabin air filter. The rack and pinion should be mounted to the side of the glove box which makes it open slowly and preventing damage to the plastic glove box and housing. I brought the broken rack and pinion to the manager of the Jiffy Lube "Mo" and he had me fill out a "incident report" and told me that it would take a week or two for Jiffy Lube headquarters in Texas to get back with repair authorization or refusal of repairs. Then he asked for the rack and pinion to "use it for comparison when they get the new part." Like I said that was last Saturday, I haven't heard from Jiffy Lube headquarters as of yet.

My son had his oil changed at jiffy lube in Costa Mesa Ca. 17th St location. All the check services were performed according to the bill. Just out of curiosity I checked the air filter and found a mouse nest in the air filter and box. The brake fluid was way below the add mark. I would venture to guess all of the checks were a lie. If all they do is change the oil, they should so state that, not give the impression that all has been checked. No more, I'll go to a dealer.

I am very disappointed because I usually have such a good experience with the service I get at Jiffy Lube. They are usually prompt and take care of me and all my needs. My experience 2 days ago was horrible. I went in there to get a signature oil change and safety/emissions for my car. As always, they were very prompt to take care of me. Unfortunately my car did not pass because of one front tire that was boarderline "hazzardous". Ok, so I was really bugged and my attitude wasn't the best towards the rep that was helping me. I then went and purchased 2 new tires for my car and within an hour brought it back to the same Jiffy Lube. I was told I didn't need to get out of my car, just to keep it in line with the ONE car in front of me. I saw the rep that helped me only an hour before. He looked at me and said to the other rep "I'm not going to help this one. You can." I over-heard and I don't think he knew I could still hear him. I sat there in my car and waited...waited...waited for almost 20 min. Finally, one of the guys walked past my car and I just "hey can someone just please look at my tires and tell me if I've 'passed'?" Instead of having someone look it over, he just handed me the certification of passing it. Then he asked if I wanted to pay the renewal of my car and I said yes. He asked me to park along the side. And I went inside the door. I waited...waited...again for another 15 minutes. The rep that helped me earlier was supposed to take my payment and never did. He intentionally ignored me. I was so furious that I just walked out the door, through the garage (and yes I know I'm supposed to be accompanied by a servicer but I was so pissed I just wanted to get out of there). I just got in my car and drove away. I am so mad even now two days later that I can just scream. I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER go to a Jiffy Lube ever again!! And I will tell everyone I know of this experience.

In the city of Ames ia. They hire felons. So it was a couple of nights ago two jiffy lube employees named Aaron g Cole and randy hillman con fronted me in a bar saying they know where I live do to me going to jiffy lube they have all my personal information they threaten me over my wife and kids do not trust your personal information and the ames ia jiffy lube they hire people right out of prison they are all on parole and will threaten your family

I am reading the reviews and I have the worst experience of all. I am considering filing a complaint to the attorney generals office and filing a police report. Two days ago we had a spring and shocks replaced at our auto repair shop. We have three cars repaired there and have been customers for over 15 years with no complaints. The next day we went to jiffy lube to have the oil changed. They told us the belts needed to be replaced and other repairs. We just had the oil changed. That evening my husband drove to ace and could hardly drive it and managed to get it home. He discovered oil trailing on the street and on our brick driveway. We called our repair shop and had the car towed. They told us the line to the transmission was unscrewed and the belts were cut. WE could have had an accident. This is serious and your company needs to be put out of business. You do not take these complaints and correct them. i can see the young workers forced to do this kind of work and doing something unethical. I am surprised anyone would want to work there.

I visited the store on 2402 S.48th Street in Lincoln, Nebraska 68506 and i have been going there for years now along with all my family members who live in the neighborhood and I had the worst experience in customer service ever. The manager comes in to tell me his recommendations as they always do with their employees and starts telling me that my car should always use only synthetic oil and so I state to him well that's funny I always bring my car in and no one has ever told me this and he tells me it is because it was not him working on my car. Ok so to me this tells me you do not know how to run your store. He continues to hustle me for things I would prefer my mechanic to work on and when I tell him this he starts to put down my mechanic. A customer in the store after he walks out to finish my car and drive it out of the slot tells me her car has only 30 miles and she had replaced her windshield wipers one week before her oil change and they told her she needed new ones when she told them that they said oh sorry no they are good. this manager followed me to my car and stated that i should have not talked in the store about the issue that just happen. BIG MISTAKE! He hustled me in all kinds of way but is going to get mad because I don't have the funds to add crap that does not need to be done to my car. This economy is really bad and I know that there are lots of great people today starving for jobs that would give a customer respect when they request their services and this guy just lost 6 members of my family where we all live by this Jiffy Lube and go there for oil changes because of no respect. I would rather go two extra miles away then step one foot into that store and see him taking my money! BIG MISTAKE JIFFY LUBE! I EXPECT THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN I SPEND MY MONEY! I know they work on commission for what they sell but NO means NO and never put down your other workers when you run a establishment or other people you don't know.

I am hoping that this post reaches the right ears in the jiffy lube corporation. I would personally like thank and commend the manager of store number 2576 in Puyallup,Wa. for going above and beyond the expected service that one could expect to receive at any repair facility. While servicing my chevy truck the internal nut on the rear differential broke loose, the cover had to be removed to get the foreign object out of the differential. While the jiffy lube mechanic was technically working on the vehicle I consider this to be a manufactures defect. The shop installed a temporary rubber plug and ordered a new cover. The cover was replaced free of charge in a timely manner at no cost to me even though I was willing to pay for the cost of the new part. I have used jiffy lube services for over 35 years for all my vehicles and have nothing but praise for them, however this manager at store 2576,Puyallup Wa. is head and shoulders above the best. I have been a loyal customer and will remain one for as long as I am driving.

My cousin lives in Texas and needed some information about his car. I told him I knew someone who worked at Jiffylube and to go to get a second opinion. A friend of mine Zach Boom and one of the other employees working at the time were both very helpful to my cousin so I wanted to mention that and thank them for their help. He will definitely being doing business with them from now on!

It's been several years since I used the services of your Laurel, Maryland store. In fact, the last time I was there, a year ago, it was so run down, dirty and disorganized I wrote it off as untrustworthy for my family's two cars. I'm sure that many others had stopped using you too. We have many choices. I recently stopped in, and saw a Big change. The place looked much better, and the manager Nabil was very professional. The clutter was gone, it was much cleaner and best of all he and his asst. managers, were friendly and engaging. I will try you again in the future based on these improvements. Tell them that I said thanks for the hard work that has gone into this big cleanup.

The assistant manager at the jiffy lube in loveland co. needs to show respect to his co-workers. I was getting my oil changed recently and over heard him tell a young employee "if Scott thinks his back hurts today wait til i sell all his cars tire rotations." then he proceded to snap someone with a towel. If this is jiffy lubes idea of a manager then i will take my business elsewhere. and this is not the first time this person has acted inappropriatley. I personally witnessed his actions several times. This guy is not proffessional and needs to grow up.

I LIVE IN SPRINGFIELD MO AND HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE. VERY POLITE AND THEY TAKE ME TO MY CAR TO SHOW ME WHAT IS WRONG WHEN I AM THERE TO GET AN OIL CHANGE. I WATCH EVERYTHING THAT IS DONE THOUGH THE WINDOW. I LOVE JIFFY LUBE!! (ESPECIALLY TOPPING OFF FLUIDS AND AIRING TIRES FREE OF CHARGE). THANKS PAM

Wow, what a rip. So I visited store 2180 at 4470 Jimmy Smith Pkwy in Hiram Georgia to get a oil change. They were busy and had 2 bays working. I knew I had been waiting for a minute but, was surprised when 2 individuals came in and left before my job was completed. I confirmed that both bays were doing oil changes but of course mine was the slower one. When they finally, got to my car the cost was $111.00 to do an oil change and replace a filter. $111.00 for an oil change is absolutely crazy. I was so frustrated but, I am stupid and did not say I will go somewhere else. I figured my time was wasted so I would count it as a lesson. Ohhhh but, awesome they took 25% off the filter. Woo hoo that was a grand savings of $6.25. I left and noticed that the car was not vacuumed so I had to back and was shocked to find out the individual working on my car was the manager Clay. I was hoping it was a new employee and management would review all of my levels and confirm everything was done properly. You figure if they missed a vacuuming, probably something else was missed. I was fairly confident that nothing was truly checked and it was a total waste of my time to ask for a check but, whatever. I am just praying he did not screw up the oil change. He was new to the location....Ohhh joy what an improvement. He even informed me their prices had gone up a couple of months ago and "sorry, my hands are tied." Unbelievable service. Final payment after "discounts" was $95.07 for and oil change and filter. Never going to use Jiffy Lube again.

my boyfriend took his car for an oil change, and of course they told him he needed to change his filter and transmission fluid. So whatever he paid it, we left. When he got home he checked under the hood and found compartment where the filter should go was open and EMPTY! They didn't even put one in there!! We went back n there just like, "sorry man" so i asked for a refund and they said they cant cus they already gave him to much discounts! THEY ARE A HUGE SCAM!! they do that to every customer! Can't trust ANYONE these days. I wish there was something we could do.

I have a cousin who works in a Jiffy Lube in Roanoke VA location and her boss and co-workers are harrassing her constantly they took items from her vehicle and threw them in the trash and they were clothes for a funeral she was going to attend! And her boss uses obscene language with her and in front of customers. Why Jiffy Lube do you let douche bags work for you???? And all I can find is lousy tips on how to deal with workplace bullying...fuck Jiffy Lube and fuck their tips!

Just to document the bad review for jiffy lube today 10/03/2011 They no longer check or top fluids or vacuume the interior for their advertised price of 19.99 I told them fine just pull it out and I will go someother place. The manager said they had already drained my oil and I would have to pay the 19.99 or it would be stealing. I was so offended that I drop their stinking instant coffee. I never behave this way but then I never am called a thief either. The manager Troy just smirkes and I could not get out of there fast enough. I will never go back. I have been waiting on the phone for over 10 minutes with corporate but I guess that is to be expected. The recording states 5 minutes then they transfer you to someones voice mail and direct you to leave a message. I will vote with my dollars and from now on never set foot in this place.

I went to your Jiffy Lube located in Laurel, MD. I got my oil and filter changef. They put on the wrong filter. The person vacumming my carstole my Army retirement knife and money out of my vehicle. I specifically told the service guy to not vacuum my vehicle, but they did it against my wishes. I have never had anything stolen out of my vehicle prior to going to Jiffy Lube. The Jiffy Lube employee took the knife out of the the sheath and left the empty sheath in my driver-side door. The knife was a retirement gift. I am very very upset about this. It holds much sentimental value. I filed a police report and nothing was done. I want my property back or the monetary value for it.

I'm a service manager with a fleet of of 12 vans that use to get oil changes at Jiffy Lube. Lately I've been noticing things being replaced without notifing my drivers. Example: One of my drivers went in for a simple oil change. When he got the bill, he noticed they replaced 3 windshield wipers.(In the summer)The driver was never asked, or warned that the wipers may need replacing. This brought the normal $36.99 bill up to $109.00 I may have gotten the shaft this time, but in the long run Jiffy lube will be the loser. I've just written a new service policy, forbidding any technician to bring their company van to Jiffy Lube for anything!!

This documents a bad experience with Jiffy Lube #3334, in Grants Pass Oregon. An employee on the street is standing with a sign saying $19.99 for an oil change. I told him I had a diesel pick up requiring 14 quarts. I was told, " We Delo all day long and we will be done in 25 minutes." "Tell the service tech. writing you up." I told no less than three employees I wanted Delo. Fourty minutes later when I finally sought out and spoke to the service writer I was told that would be a 20 dollar up charge. I explain that part was not my problem and I was going to pay the 70 dollars I was quoted or not at all. He then told me they had no Delo 15-40 in stock and I replied that we were done, close the hood and I am leaving. He said if I do then I would not get very far cause they had drained my oil. I told him I wanted Delo and he wanted to argue the virtue of Rotello oil over the Delo. He then suggested I go get my own oil and he would give me a $12.00 credit. When I started walking toward the auto parts store he told me he would have my truck towed if I left it. He wanted the keys so he could move it. I have already been lied to twice so I am not leaving my vehicle in there hands so they can start it and damage the motor. Finally because I have clients to attend to I give in, way over an hour of time spent. When I am brought the bill, it is a release for me to sign agreeing many things have been done. Many had not and some are a potential safety issue. Truck needs window wiper blades and the windows were not washed on the out side, nor was the carpet vacuumed. To add insult to injury, the service writer says, "Here is a 10% coupon for your next just to make things right." I reminded him he could have made things right on this bill but he charged me full fee after draining my oil and telling me he had no Delo. This looks and feels like a scam to me. Put a customer in a bind and then sell him what you got, not what was promise at the price. I still want a crank case full of Delo 15-40 weight oil, not Rotella. This can be made right. But will you, Jiffy Joanne, LLC.? So now I am home and the truck is leaking oil in my drive way.

I received service at Jiffy Lube on Dunn Ave. After receiving a transmission service that I did not need my transmission went out. Before the service was performed the employee said that I needed to have the transmission drained/flushed. I expressed that I was not sure about draining the transmission because I did not know the history of the car. She assured me that everything would be fine and I would only have to be concerned if it was the oil. After she told me the price of $285 I told her I could not afford it so she told me that she would run a few different things to make it more affordable. They performed the service and now my transmission has gone out. The District manager said that the lady should not have done the service and to have the car looked at to let them know what kind of damage was caused. After getting the information that the transmission had went out because of the fluid exchange they say that they are not responsible for the damage and as long as the fluid was full that was all they were accountable for. Now I am stuck with a repair bill of $1700 to rebuild my transmission. Allot of people that I have talked to have said that after receiving service at jiffy lube their vehicles have required an expensive repair afterwards. They always try to sell things that you don't need and try to make it seem like if you don't have the service done something horrible will happen to your car. I have had nothing but a big run around with them and very nasty attitudes when I try to talk to anyone at Jiffy Lube about the problem. I am a military spouse with 3 small children and this situation is not one that I really need. I have been a Jiffy Lube customer for years and I have never been treated with such disrespect and willingness to say that it is my entire fault.

I'm interested in purchasing one of your (stand-alone) vacant buildings @ the intersection of Pine Hill Drive, and Government Street in Mobile, Alabama 36606. This property was recently vacated by the Franchise Owner - supossedly they moved to a strategic point elsewhere within the City of Mobile. Prayerfully, you will entertain my offer to purchase... Seldom, will I purchase an investment property from a realtor, or a bank, nor will I flip a property at the close of escrow to a third-party. I'm an aggressive real estate invesor for my own loan portfolio. I affirm, that I am a buyer..seeking opportunities in a topsy-turvy real estate market. My constituients are selling-out, but I'm buying. I refuse to buy another businessman'x headacke, nor do I juggle the books for financial gain to impress the John Doe's. If you want to sell this property, with all the equipment intact..then I'm definitely interested. Yours, truly, Terry G. Holley for Tri-State Industries, L.L.C. F.S.V.P. to: tgholleytsi@yahoo.com
