We are retired and travel a bit. We have used jiffy lube in several different states and never had a problem. Last week we went to the jiffy lube in LAKE CITY FLORIDA, because our change oil light went off and we were in the middle of travel as usual. It was late in the day about 6pm. A little down the road I reached into the glove box for tissues and noticed my sunglass case moved, so opened it and my sunglasses were gone. We didn't bother calling that night because we knew they would be closed. So the next morning we called and told that there wasn't an owner, a manager or even an assistant manager there. When asked what I needed I told the young man on the phone the situation. I was given the name of the kid that vacuumed the car and the district manager's name. When I talked to him he said he would look into it as they cameras everywhere. He called me back after, saying that he checked his cameras and noticed that me and my SON (husband), being rude and insulting were both wearing our sunglasses. I said yes we were!! But I had a second pair, which I switched into at the jiffy lube right in front of the kid. I asked him if that was what he focused on, the sunglasses on my head. It seems so instead of doing his job. Seems Leon Kirkland shouldn't be a district manager of anything. Stay away from this place. Nobody seems to be in charge.

ok I bought a 1998 dodge durango and wanted to change and check all the fluids, so I took it to jiffy lube on rt 2 in Severna park Md when they finished i took it home that night when I was headed out my wife looked under the truck and said it was leaking something so we took her car and as we headed out we stopped back by jiffy lube and I told the manager what was going on with the truck... so the next morning I went back with my truck then looked it over and said there is nothing wrong with it ..now this truck is 13 yrs old it had a very small oil leak but nothing like now... the oil gadge in the truck says it is very low ...I spent$309 and some change at this place and I want my money back... I would not rate this place at all there is not a rating low enough .. another thing when they were work on my truck they broke a plug on one of the differentials and came in to get super glue to fix it what kind of shit is this ...Im probably going to have to pay for fixing the parking lot were I live because of all the oil Im losing where I park.. something needs to be done or I shall seek legal action..... 4309

I must toot my horn for the Jiffy lube at 1122 Madison Street in Oak Park...once I faxed the invoice from the car dealer for repairing the air sensor that went bad because a Jiffy Lube tech did not put the air filter in I paid for, to the Manager Juan who told me he will have a check for the $298.00 my husband had to pay the service department at the dealership and the 25.99 I paid for an air filter I never received. I went to pick up check Saturday 03/17 and Juan apologized for the inconvenience this had caused. I told him that this was the first time this has happened to us in using Jiffy Lube for over 20 years. He said they checked their camera and someone was blocking it when they were supposedly putting the air filter in. My husband said he will now take the car to the dealer for an oil change because of this incident and I am ok with that because that gives him something he can do instead of me doing it, YES!! The moral of this story is not all Jiffy Lubes are bad some really care about their customers! If it had went the other way I would have gone up there every Saturday to run their customers away by telling them my story, lol!

I have heard stories of bad experiences at jiffy lube but basically I have not had any bad experiences until now. On 02/18/12 got an oil change and a air filter...driving all over but car seems to not have the pick up and go it had before plus check engine light has come on twice and the car is a 2008 Hyndai Azera in good condition. Told hubby he needs to take car to get it serviced at dealer...he did yesterday and was told there was no air filter in car which caused the air flow sensor to go bad and it needed replacing....total $298.95 plus the $25.99 that was paid for an air filter that was never put in car and they did not even put the dirty one back in! Called and spoke to Manager Juan and faxed him all of the papers from the dealer....still waiting on his call. He does not know how persistent I am and I will be at the Jiffy Lube 1122 W Madison in Oak Park, IL on a busy Saturday (tomorrow) to see what he has to say face to face! Will let you know!!

I came in for an oil change on March 5 and your mechanic said I needed new belts. They put the belts on wrong and on March 15th I'm stranded on the side of the road. Store number is 2302. I am out of pocket for towing and mechanic fees. My complaint number is 606721. I am telling all of my friends, newspaper, facebook and whoever will listen not to go to that store for an oil change. I called your 1-800 number and you all kept me on hold for over an hour. What's up with that? How do you all get away with scamming females.

I took my van in to get an oil change last month at the Jiffy Lube on 23rd in Lawrence KS. They told me they had tested the radiator fluid and desperately needed a radiator flush. They suckered me into it. By Rome I got home and parked my van for an hour or so, I go to leave and notice a ton of antifreeze leaked all over. So I take it back up there, after having to fill it up first since it was almost bone dry. The managed to get at least 5 people in and out with oil changes while I sat there waiting for an hour and a half. They finally tell me that there is a hole in the radiator and I need a whole new radiator. So I get it checked by my mechanic and they verify that jiffy lube blew a hole in it with their power washer thing. They give the ok to fix it, have all my info, mind you I paid with my debit card. And a month later i get a check from them with my name spelled wrong in a way that I think they just thought would be funny and the bank won't take it. So I'm still waiting and can't seem to get thru on the corp office #. I'm really getting pissed off!

I use the store 823 in Milton all the time. I had a service oil change on 1-11-2012. My coolant light went on and I have been hearing gurgling noices. I stopped by for a top off and they informed me that someone put the cap on wrong and they would have to charge me 5 bucks for a top off and I should replace my cap. Well low and behold all three of the men who did my work were there. So who put the cap on wrong. Duh and then you want to charge me. I went home and topped it off myself end of problem and it did not cost me for a new cap and a top off. Who are you kidding just because I am a woman. I am thinking about calling the Attorney General on this one. The kids name is Mark so be wary Milton. Best of luck

I went to a jiff lube in omaha ne, to get a oil change and a fuel filter replacement. As i was driveing on the highway lost power to my car. Fuel filter line that was replaced was not attached right, lost a full tank of gas, stuck on side of road for 2 1/2 hrs. Call the manager at this location he came out in put a regular rubber line on to get me and my wife going. The manager refunded the cost of the oil change, it took them 2 weeks to get the right line for my car,I had just fill my car up with gas costing me 19 dollars to top it off early that day, plus after the manager of the jiff lube that put regular line on the car i lost that 19 dollars on the ground, so i had to refill that afternoon and it was another 49 dollars. Now remmber that he refunded the cost of the oil change and gas line back to my card, but he told me that i could get two oil coupons or the 49 dollars, not the 19 dollars,This was on 2/11/12, I call the company headquarters was on hold for more than a hour to talk to someone.

I went to Jiffy Lube #1150 5710 Forest Bend Drive Arlington Texas to have the oil changed I my 2004 Dodge Dakota. The truck ran for awhile and then all of a sudden it was making a horrible noise, I called my mechanic and he came to check it out.News was not good, blown motor. because there was not any oil left in my truck and it looked like they stripped the oil pan plug. I called corporate and explained the situation to them and they told me that a district manager would phone. He did, seemed very sympathetic and would get an independant mechanic to look at the truck. After a week I called again to get a reply from him, it wasnt their problem and he was pretty sure they put oil in the vehicle. Isn't it amazing that I never had any problems using a different oil change place and when i bring to Jiffy lube, I have a blown motor. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE.

I am humored by the large quantity of ranting that can be done in a public forum. I am an ex-JLI employee and want to point out a few facts regarding the corperate entity known as Jiffy Lube. Please look at a few important facts; 1)Jiffy Lube locations are typically a franchise. 2) Every business needs to make a profit. 3)Just about everyone is trying to save as much as they can. Ok, these things being said, there are a few good JLubes out there but on the whole this is how a typical day in the life of a store manager goes...... Wake up before the crack of dawn, after 6 hours sleep; managers are at the store open to close, due to being salary and needing to save labor dollars. Open the store and get just about everything ready for the day, including the shop floor and all the paperwork; the kid that was scheduled to come in and help has no work ethic, and maintaining a good crew is impossable with average wages being MINIMUM wage plus a nickel. Call a District manager and give him a list of 15 different items that you are looking to sell today. Have your job security threatened either due to some customer being pissed-off, or not selling wnough stuff the previous day because you tried not to piss people off....... I hope by now that those of you reading this are begining to understand that in the first 15 min of a typical day of a JLI store manager there is more crap to deal with than is fair for the somewhat meager paycheck. This attitude is sent down from a franchise office, through a regional manager, down to a district manager, to a store managerr, to (Jiffy Lube International) measures success with something called a CSS (customer satisfaction survey); unfortunately the franchise office usually looks at sales and profit. There is rigerous training on how to weigh things like labor%, Cost of goods% ect, and some franchise offices have phonecalls going into each store every hour. The database for tracking updates every 10 minutes and if prefitablitiy falls below a certain amount, an angry upper-level manager is breathing down the neck of a store manager. That upsale isnt because its really what your car needs and the salesman doesnt want to piss you off either; Nor does he enjoy going to bed thinking he ripped off 50% o fhis customers. That pressure sale was made, because if he didnt make that one extra sale, he might not have a job tommorow, someone with less scruples will be up-selling in his place. How would you deal with that kind of pressure? Most people cant even handle the pressure of the sale. Remember fundimental attribution in your lives and love on one another; Kindness is contagious///////I M OUT!

I see that even as of February, 2012, Jiffy Lube continues to be a wide-scale SCAM organization. A while back, NBC did an expose on the company and its crooked employees. Customers were CONSISTENTLY charged for work not done, parts not installed, and equipment not used as promised. Jiffy Lube officials refused to talk to NBC about this, and apparently nothing has changed. I would advise anyone with any sense at all and concern for the car they own to STAY AWAY from Jiffy Lube. Let the buyer BEWARE

I went to the jiffy lube on Route 64 in Oakbrook, il. I pulled in because I was over 40 miles I didn't have any work to do for a couple of hours. I pulled in and let me say this they took my 93 Buick Century and pulled it in. Before I pulled in my windows all worked. They asked me if I wanted them to vacume I said no just oil change and thats it. I got sticker shock when they said it was 45.??, I said what happened to the 20.00 oil change he smirked and of course I paid it. Then I pull out and start driving after I was on the highway I proceeded to roll down my front driver side window down and I had no power, i pulled off the highway and checked the other windows and the back ones work fine its the front two. I got out of my car and looked on the floor and there was a blue wire just laying on the floor, I called the shop and the manager told me to bring it back I scheduled to bring it back the following day. I went back the following day and showed the manager the blue wire that came from out of the sky, he said Oh that looks like we accidently pulled that with one of our shoes, I said Ok I need it fixed. I sat in the store for over 2 hours and the window is still not fixed, he said he would bring his tools and try to jump so I can get at leaste one of my front windows. I have not taken my car back and refuse. someone is going to pay for the damage done to my car, I have taken my car to see how much it will cost me but eery service center says 150.00 to look at my car because its an electrical problem. I want my car fixed. I have now been on the phone for 14 minutes waiting on someone to pick up the phone at corporate and yep still holding.

I went to Jiffy Lube at 1812 Pulaski Hwy. in Edgewood Md. I asked for the Signature Service oil change. I also asked if they could change my headlight since it is burned out.The tech said that they did not have my particular light without even checking. I went into the waiting room and said something about headlight to the person behind the counter. I asked him if i could get headlight changed, he replied that he was out of stock. I asked if he could do it because i have the light in my car. He replied that it will still be full price.I said still full price with my own part. He got real ignorant and said " what, do expect me to give it to you for free." I replied "no, I am a paying customer here for the past 10 years and since you have this attitude and bad customer service I will not bring any of my vehicles here again. his reply was" good Idont want you here, thats fine. If I talked to one of my customers that way I would lose my job.And so I paid my bill, still exchanging words, I asked to see the manager, he said he would get him. This person walked out of office and then walked right back in and said I am the manager can I help you. Isnt this a kick in the ass.Iasked him if this was a joke to him and he laughed.Isaid that I will have his job for this. As I was walking to the door he told me I am lucky Ihave my son with me." my 6 year old boy". I said what did you say? You are lucky you have your son with you.I said no you are lucky. If this is the kind of people Jiffy Lube is going to employ I hope they lose their business and I will not let this go until this guy is fired. I will go file criminal charges on him now for the threats made to me.I hope Jiffy Lube corporate people reads this message and replys back to me because I know they would not like this at all.Like I said I am not Letting this go.

Just left Jiffy Lube in Sunrise Florida. I own a 2005 Cadillac CTS. After I opened the hood, i was told by the employee that the vehicle had the " North-star" motor and required 8 quarts of synthetic motor oil and the cost was $ 125.00 to change the oil. I left and went to another place, easy Lube. I was told the motor was not a North-star motor but a 3.6 liter non north-star model. The car takes 6 quarts of oil, not 8, and the cost at Easy Lube, with all the fluids topped off, windows cleaned, carpet vacuumed came out to under $70.00. Really Jiffy lube, are you that desperate to get customers that you lie to them and try to take advantage of us? I am appalled at the way I was treated and am Now a happy customer of Easy Lube. Jerks!

thay did my trans in on my new car and will not pay up in the tooele ut jeffy lube now in going to take in to my frend at 2 news thank this is what i get for being a customer that was not right and in not going to go for this

Guess they see a woman drive in and see $$$$$$$. I went to the Jiffy Lube on Stirling Road in Hollywood FL and was told my serpentine belt was about to break. I asked the mechanic to show me where it was torn and he said it was not visible because the torn part was under some other parts. So I said well, just start the car and turn it off quickly so the belt moves and the rip will be on the top and visible. Couldn't do that. I have since driven over 1000 miles and no problem with the belt. I'd rather pay a bit more and not have to worry about getting ripped off for parts and/or service I don't need.

Can you please tell me if Jiffy Lube would be interested in a racing sponsorship for a team in Western Pennsylvania and how may we contact someone in regards to a partnership? Thank you!

I went to the riverdale ut location to have safety and inspection done the manager was rude to start with. Then the tech pulling my car in was on his phone while driving. I work in a shop. A persons car is their investment. We aren't aloud to have phones in the shop. I complained to the service writer. He went and told the tech then the manager who came in to talk to us in a very defensive manner we told him what the problem was and he made some excuse for the tech. We asked if they had a cell phone policy and if we could see it he said yes they do but no we could not see it. He refused to give us corporates. Number and told us complaining would do no good. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW REALLY.

I visited my local Jiffy Lube today (2-2-12) and had a great experienc. The staff were VERY courteous and professional!!! As always, they do suggest upgrade services, etc... but were respectful when I declined. I would love for their superiors to know how impressed and appreciative I am of the job and service.

So here is how my afternoon panned out, I work straight day shift got to their Burnhampthope location in Misissauga, On at roughly 4:45m. I no sooner stop on the pit as I was guided by a diligent employee gued to her cell phone guiding me ... then I hear the "mechanic" shout out to her something about Fram (my choice of filter) they have a discussion and inform me hat I have to leave as my oil pan gasket is blown and someone stripped the head off of bolt for oil pan, which I found odd as normally I change m own oil for 10 months of the year and would remember doing that, as for the seal you never know maybe? I immediately took the car to my trusted regular mechanic who confirmed my suspicion that there was nothing wrong with my car.. In short Screw You Jiffy Lube my business will never set foot in any of you establishments and I will be blogging you all over FB and any other forum I can find.
