Enterprise sucks and should stop trying to rip off its customers quality sucks never renting from them again and you shouldnt as well they try to withhold 500 for any little problem not even damage

Be carefull of some rental agents behind the counters,...I had one womad who decided that I had hurt her feelings and called my partner who had rented the limo, and told him I was "rude" to her...What kind of vendictive person calls the customer and complains...All took place at the Lima rd. Fort Wayne Indiana office...I wont be renting anything from Enterprise ever, and niether will other business people I know cause they have had similar experiences..bad PR travels fast, and it could have been good PR.

Well, where to start... I will keep this as short as possible, I was left stranded by your Ocala, Fl location. I had been using your Co for my needs for this past year. We were in Florida at the time Isaac came thru. The news was saying streets would get flooded by Mon, if not sooner. I called your branch and was told they could care less, that I was being charged until the car is in their lot. I asked if they were open Sat, and could come in then, was told yes. Now I was picked up ( as per your policy) the prior tuesday. When I showed up to leave the car, on Sat due to a Hurricane alert, I was told I would have to find my own way back to my Motorhome!!! Really ? I was told to call a friend !! Hello, I am in my MH traveling and forgot to pack a friend. There were 3 employees who could care less, sitting around, to drop me back off. I will abstain from using your Co in the future whenever possible. In fact , when we were in Yellowstone I used Avis, who by the way came and got me and told me to just leave the keys in the locked car , and they would pick it up the following morning.... how is that for customer service. I had the car from you for a little over a week.. paid 380.00 for the honor of being left 9 miles from my location, with no way back, and a Company who could care less. Oh yes, I have informed my travel club of this treatment, and recommended they find other transportation while on the road. J. Burgess

a female called me just yesterday (9/11) to find out if i was still interested in working with them and trained in cranston ri. she left her number; then, i was thinking, "why didn't she clarify to me in the first place who she was calling for since it was me who had to probe and ask her more questions as to what the call was about!" she sounded like a child, and when i tried to find out later in that day if the other two managers in Providence RI knew her, just to see if she was a legitamate recruiter for a manager training job i had applied for from "of all terrible web cites craigslist" I couldn't find out if they were working for the same company. my resume has my address on it, my personal phone number and especially my email address. after trying to find out if headquarters knew any of these "kids" i came upon this wonderful cite which reminded me of my bad experience with this company when they were in the city of new bedford massachusetts. i took back the rental i had for several days covered by my auto insurance company. the leasing agent told me there was now a crack on the windshield (which had been there before) my insurance company had to replace their entire windshield and i was so angry knowing this company has incentives to rip people off every time the next sucker walks through the doors. i am grateful for these remarks; i will no doubt never think of trying to find work with dishonest people. they would be great working candidates up at wall street where the american people continue to be ripped off, while no one in dc is still doing nothing about it---regulations--that is only for the working poor and we are the sheep still being lead to the slaughter. beware of that great smile; expensive suit or dress and if you won't you are doomed to receive the obvious---nothing good.

Dear Enterprise Car Rental, I notice my statement of my September 4 and 5 2012 bank account and unauthorized amount, that I am being charge for a rental that was back in July and it now September. This service was render when your agent check the van rental upon my leaving of the business and sign off on all that was on the agreement of the rental contract. So, last night I call your 1800 264 6350 and spoke to a Antonia Felder is the name he gave me. I ask he is a manager or if I could speak to a manager but he insist that he is the person I need to talk to and that his office is in St. Charles, Mo. This is the location of branch which I rented Enterprise Rent-A-Car 30715 JOHN R MADISON HEIGHTS, MI 48071-2128 Tel.:(248) 588-4081 Please, if someone could help me with resolving this issue because I am not OK with my account being charge and after the fact of service render. But if this is a regular business practice than I am very disappointed and my family, friends, and myself have been doing business for so many years and never once this have occur to anyone.

Every time I see their ads, I laugh out loud. "We'll pick you up", they say. But when you turn in your car, you'd better not be 20 miles from nowhere, as I was in Omaha, Nebraska, where my car was stolen. You'd better not be a woman and it had better not be at night because you're on your own, Valued Customer and their employees could care less.

Never again will I use enterprize car rental.Here in Rosenber Texas they had one car available(ford crown victoria). This car had dents in the left front fender, one ding in the windshield and the windshield had a crack that was over twenty inches long. When I ask for one of the many discounts I qualify for I was told she was giving me a cheaper rate on the car thus not going to get the discount. This vehicle could not pass the state law and I was ashamed to drive it because I did not want my neighbors to think I would drive such a wreck.

If there ws a ZERO Rating Enterprise would have received it! I beg any person NEVER to rent from this company. If they are the last rental agency on earth I will walk. The first car was filthy dirty, bugs everywhere, you could not see if there was damage beyond the dirt & filth. When I made this comment they apologize but their CAR WASH was broken. Too bad find another one! I took the car as I had no other choices even though there were several other cars available. I called another location and was told to come by the next morning to trade out the car. When I arrived NO notes were found. They put me in the same make and model at least this was clean but it did not have a full tank of gas. No problem you only have to bring it back with 3/8 of a tank. YEAH! The 2nd car is scratched and dented. This is how the cars are given to the public? OMG! I called to file a complaint and was told that someone from corporate would be calling me in 3-5 days. My car will be completed in 2 days. Lucky me. I highly doubt that I will receive a call but I hope that this review keeps everyone away from this company. Customer Service is non-existent. Be sure to advise your insurance company, auto body shops and auto mechanics. They last place they want to send their customers is to Enterprise. It will reflect badly on their business.

I am very unhappy with the enterprise rac in Columbus OH, @ 3161 W, BROAD ST,,,,,, long story short,,, my car was hit an sent to a dealer for repairs,,there ins, company rented a 2012 Mazda 6 they picked me up at dealers,,,an we went back to there office an started the paper work on my end,,, empl, E106MV wanted my license an CC imfo, he done his thing with them handed them back,,,at that point i ask him if the company that rented me the car got the ins coverage on it,,,he said yes it was covered!!! i ask his point blank so if something was to happen to its covered right??? an he says yes it is covered!!!! we go outside to look at the car for damage an check the amount of gas,,,we walk around it no major damage just light scratches,,,gas was just under a half tank we agree on every thing,,,,he say initial in 4 places so i did thinking it was for gas an any damage on the car,,, we ll someone keyed the door on it i call tell them an they say i declined the ins, i say no i did not decline it the other company had it put on the car,,, he tells me they didn't get the ins, on it!!!!! an he tells me to bring in my ins card and the amount of my deductible,,, he may as well call me a liar when i told him what i was told "that the other insurance company purchased it" your guy E106MV told me they did and it was covered,,,,now there Damage Recovery Unit is sending me letters an calling,,,, now there telling me they have the rental agreement an what i initialed was declining ins,,,, not damage an gas,,, yep my bad for trusting E106MV an not setting down an reading the micro print,,,,,,, but what cant understand is why would he tell me it had insurance on it,,,had he just said no! no its not covered i would have purchased it,,,its not the expensive!!!!!!

After reading aall these posts I realize I am not the only one who has a problem. I thought calling corporate office they would be open but they are not. So here goes and I will keep calling corporate office until I get an actual person. Oh, and I can't leave a voice mail due to their box being full. My son and his friends rented a car when they got back from Iraq last December to use for a week. They are stationed in Hawaii. The car was put in my sons name and when they returned the car they paid in cash. He was given a receipt which he threw away since the car rental had been paid. My son is now ready to leave the island and was told he has an outstanding bill to Enterprise for that car rental. Now mind you, that was December 2011 and it is now September 2012. He cannot leave the island until this bill is paid again. Why has it taken them so long to contact him to tell him of this situation. It was paid once now they want it paid again. I know he paid the bill the first time because he ran short of money due to the bill. Very frustrating for everyone. Lesson learned, keep all receipt they give you.

TOO BAD!!! BAD BAD SERVICE. PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE GAVE ORDER FOR A RENTAL SINCE ONE OF THEIR POLICY HOLDERS WRECK MY CAR. THIS PEOPLE ASSURED THIS MORNING THE DO HAVE A CAR. WENT TO PICK UP... NOPE THEY DONT HAVE IT, THEY SAY IN ONE AND HALF HOUR, THEY WILL CALL. GAVE A NUMBER THAT IS NOT FOR THEIR OFFICES, CALLED THE NETWORK NUMBER AND ANOTHER BRANCH IN HOUSTON ANSWERED TOLD HIM ABOUT THE PROBLEM THEY SAY THEY CANNOT COME TOPICK UP, HE OFFERED TO CALL THEM IN THE WESTHEIMER/HOUSTON BRANCH FOR THEM TO CALL ME UP. IT HAS BEEN 20 MINUTES AND THEY ARE NOT CALLING ME EITHER..... LIKE THEY WANT THEIR BUSINESS TOFAIL..... I can't wait to sue this company! It's going to be a peice of cake! I gave them my time frame to correct the problem then I will own them! I have actual evidence on my contract when I picked up my rental that it had a scratch on the front bumber! When I dropped it off at the airport I couldn't argue because I had to catch a flight as they charged my credit card an extra $500 for the scratch!!! They actually blamed me!! Well, I have that bill and I have my signed contract showing the damage on the bumber when I picked it up! Their own attendant marked it and initialed it. I hope they don't fix this one because like I say, the attorneys in Boston, MA will have a feast for all the aggrevation they have caused my family and I and more than that I will expose them for probably charging others for the same scratch! We call that insurance fraud!! I can't wait! Go ahead Enterprise--make my day! The law will eat you up for this one and you will owe me and my family big for your cheating, fraudulant and aggrevating ways!!!! I can't wait to see you in court!!!

There should be a zero rating on your Ottawa, Ks office. We had scheduled our car for 4PM on 8/6/12. We were told to call if we needed it earlier. At 9AM today, we called to see if we could get one earlier and was told we would have one early afternoon. Six hours later we are still waiting and now are being rudely told that they don't know when they'll have a car. This is completely unacceptable. I will never recommend Enterprise to anyone.

There should be a (0) score. I was hit from behind by another car at a red lite. The people had USAA auto ins. They get a (10) rating!! We set up the day I was to take my van in for repairs on 7/30. On 8/2 I took my van in for repairs. Luckily the van to take me to Enterprise was there. When I got to enterprise I sat for about an hour. The lady that came with me from the auto repair got served immediately and received the special car she had asked for. I sat for about an hour before I was called up. I gave all my information and was told there were no vans for that day. But some cars would be coming in soon. I waited another hour and was told there would be no cars available today. There were 2 full sized cars, two passenger vans, and two mini vans in the lot. We have a mini van and 5 kids to fill the seats. They could have given me one of the passenger vans and all would have been OK. After waiting another hour or so I called the repair shop and explained the situation. They called The enterprise store I was at, in Rockford Ill. on state street. I was called up and told there was a 4 dr pickup trk in loves Park Ill. So I said lets go get it. When we arrived the 4 dr. truck had another state`s plates on it. So I was told they could not rent it in Illinois. But there was a clean ready to go (VW Jetta) by now we are in the afternoon. I said I`ll take it. So I did the paperwork. I was told hot to worry about gas, they would take care of it, because of my the time it took for me to get a car. OK! Now I`ve been trying to get a car all morning and I`M AN HOUR FROM HOME. I TOOK THE VW Jetta. IT was filthy inside, and had less than a QUARTER TANK OF GAS in it. And had not been washed. NOW I have been waiting since 9:00am, had not gotten the vehicle that was reserved for me and been "LIED TO" several times. And when I get home my wife is not going to be happy. What a lousy day. OH, they sold me on your coverage for $15.00 a day. DO YOU THINK THIS CUSTOMER IS HAPPY? You guessed it no i`m not. Friday comes and my Wife is planning to go to a Wedding. I get a call from the auto repair saying another part had to be ordered and the van won`t be ready `till Monday. NOW, I have to miss the wedding and our son has to stay home with me because I could not get a van, or at least a full sized car from (enterprise rent a car). I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO POORLY BY ANY BUSINESS! THESE GUYS DID NOT CARE WHAT I THOUGHT OR NEEDED. HOW CAN YOU JUST TELL A CUSTOMER THAT HAS A RESERVED VAN, THERE WILL BE NO VANS IN FOR THE REST OF THE WEEKEND? BUT THERE ARE TWO PASSENGER VANS JUST SITTING IN THE LOT!

Too bad there is no zero star rating. The enterprise location at the Bradley International Airport in Hartford, CT. charged my credit card for damage they said was caused while I had the car. The damage was small enough (a black rub mark by the rear wheel ) that it was probably there when I picked up the car late in the night. I have tried several times to call that location, but they never answer their phone. At the same location on 8-2-12, they could not manage to get me a receipt printed for the rental that I just returned. They told me I need to get it from the internet. Is this the type of customer service I should expect ?

I had an accident & was given a rental car through my insurance company. When I turned the car in a week later, I was told I would not get my $50 deposit back because they saw ashes in the floorboard and had a no smoking policy. I do not smoke & no one smoked in the car, but because they supposedly see ashes, I am being charged $50 for "cleaning". First of all, since when does vacuuming a car cost $50? Secondly, I have a friend who found a cigarette butt in the car he rented from them, and can only surmise that a passerby dropped it inside the open window where he was parked. And he was NOT charged for it. I could understand a $10 or $15 fee for cleaning, but $50?!? Plus, since the first car they gave me was a little more than the $30/day fee the insurance company would pay, I had to pay the "taxes" for the first few days and the lady (Song) who waited on me when I turned the car in could not even add it up. At first she said I owed over $12 for taxes, and when I said it should only be around $8 ($1.86 x 4days), she changed it to $8.99. Where do they find employees who cannot even work a calculator! When I complained that I do not smoke & can't help it if some ashes blew into the car through an open window, she then told me there was a strong smoke smell in the car! Why hadn't I noticed it?? I will never use Enterprise again; do not go to the Temple, TX location on General Bruce Drive - they are ripoff artists!!
