poor customer service

I have tried to rent a car on several occasions, made the reservation and then landed at a later date to find no reservation. This has put me in a bind. I was promised a free renatal and it never happened. I will look else where and word of mouth is very affective. Not happy with the service I have received..Your customer service is lessthan desireable to say the least.

VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER

I've been a very good steady customer for many many years. Have never had a problem renting a car until now. For some strange reason, your company decided to change the policy if renting with a debit card. That was the worst decision ever. I rent almost 2 times a month due to travel. This perticular day on last Friday I was turned away (very rudely) because the two bills that you wanted me to produce weren"t to your standards. Either way a customer pays you still get your money. I feel the exact same way the other customer did. It's very racial and bias decision. Your company has just lost ALL my and my families business. There's other company's that will rent to us without the hassel and I've found that they have better rates. It's your competition and it's not a buy-here pay-here company. Best of luck ! Company polices

I was wants a member, until your polices forced me to terminate my membership. I don't nor do I want to have a major credit card, a debit card works fine for my needs. When your company offer it before there was never a problem. Why should I use a major credit card and pay you and still have to pay the credit card provider? This is stupid to me. With the debit card I pay you and it's done. Also I should not have to show any other ID but my Drivers License, not a up to date gas or electric bill, this I feel is discriminatory. Major credit card holders don't have to present these documents. I 'am going to write a letter to the US Consumer Protection Agency to see if what you're doing is legal, then proceed from there. This was a terrible experience! I am a college student with no job, a savings to go to college, and my car was totaled by flood. I went to local enterprise per my insurance company to get a rental paid by them. Enterprise told me I had to sign all papers and give them my credit card or I couldn't rent a car. When I returned the car they billed me $247. This is my college fund! Suckered!!

Not a happy customer!

I had a flat tire and Enterprise wanted $50.00 to come out and change the tire.What upsets me the most is that I was told that if I did not like it I could just contact my OWN insurance company and deal with this thru them. I have been been strictly an Enterprise customer for 25 years now yet how one phone call like that can discredit anything that they have ever done for me in the past. I am not a happy customer. I had to break away from my job to change the flat when it is snowing andthe tire was in the slush.

Worst Experience!

The Enterprise in Gilbert, AZ has the worst customer service and shady business practices. The manager, Sahar, is incompetent and terribly rude. I will never use Enteprise again, solely based on the horrible experience at this one location. Keep in mind, I have used Enterprise my entire adult life, but will never again,.

Inwood, NY Office

This office has become more disorganized in recent years in the past few years with fewer cars available on weekends. Both the office and grounds were unkempt on my last visit and the office staffers seemed unorganized and preoccupied. Suggestions have been made to improve the service there and Asst. Branch Manager seems dedicated to improving service.

made a reversation at the Thibodaux, La. office and when i got there they did not have any cars for me to rent.

Rented a car from Enterprise and 24 days AFTER turning the vehicle my credit card was charged $100.55 and 4 months later Im still trying to get it back. No one can tell me what it was for and no one will refund me!! It's one story to delay another story!!

i recently rented a car because of a car accident. The amount charged by your company for insurance is robbery. I was extremely upset at the time and charged for all insurance.I could get a 1 year policy for the same cost. This practice is unacceptable. charged us 3 times the internet price!

I asked a friend to rent a car from the same local rent place and he got terribly cheated and missled by the employee. the internet advertised $196.13 and he was charged over $ 619.00 When I called corporate to complain I was defered to wait for a response; maybe tomorrow. It realy is a simple fix. Charge me what you advertise!

Bad service

I recently hit a deer and needed to rent a car thru my insurance.we tried going thru enterprise but they were very rude and not willingly to work me at all. I go in before they open and don't get off till after they closed, they told me there was nothing they could do and that they couldn't help me. Not a way to run a business, they never offered to pick me up or drop off the cat and they refused to stay an extra 20 min till I got there. Customer service is great..prices are triple the price for the exact same rentals..make enterprise your last option if your looking to save money.

REFUND SCAM

This company is a scam and rips off it's customers off in various ways. There policy on refunds is the biggest scam of all. In Temple,Tx. My brother rented a CAR.Upon returning it was told he would receive a check for his refund deposit. He has yet to receive it. So consumers be aware if the policies of this company. I advise you to check others before you're trapped into a scam. I am telling everyone I know not to use Enterprise.

Hot Springs Arkansas Ripoff

I delivered my elderly mother's car back to her in Hot Springs Village from Dallas - took her to the doctor's etc. Had to rent a car from Enterprise located at 3955 Central Ave. to drive back to Dallas. They CHARGED me $240 to drive 6 hours home and drop the car off in Arlington Texas. This is outrageous!! Never ever will I rent from this thief of a company - cost me $240 to drive 6 hours. Really cheated me -

Horrible

I needed a cargo van for a trade show I needed to attend so I went to the Corvallis, Oregon office a week in advance and made the reservation. At 2 PM the day before pick up, I get a call telling me they were sorry, but a cargo van wasn't available, but they had a mini van with fold down seats. I needed a full size van! I couldn't believe what I was hearing! When I made the reservation, nothing was said about that maybe they couldn't come through, probably for a good reason. Luckily, the local Uhaul just happened to have a van available; I wish I would have gone there first. I have been telling my story to anyone who will listen in hopes that they won't be victims of Enterprise's poor service.

Damage Scam -- me too

Days after returning a rental car that I am certain I did not damage, I got a call from Enterprise saying the grill was loose and that I was on the hook for over $400. The agent said the damage was "very minor" and could have been caused by someone "leaning on it." It's not minor to me. I'm working with the state attorney general's office in my state; I encourage anyone with a similar experience to do the same ( I suspect there are lots of us).

After hours of showing trades, looking at cars and getting financing approved;I put together a deal with the sales person and finance officer to buy a car that suits my needs. Only to have the car sold out from our deal the same evening that everything was approved. What is worse is that the manager failed to do anything ;but offer empty apologies and try to sell me a car that didn't suit my needs that's been sitting on their lot. A complete waste of valuable time and very frustrating. Top it off by a manager that hangs up on a phone conversation and encourages customers to buy there vehicle somewhere else.

Superb Car Rental Experience

Last week I had the need to rent a car to travel from Richmond Indiana to Fond Du Lac WI to pick up a new car that I had purchased. I previously worked for the federal government for over 40 years and had many occasions to rent vehicles so I know what the experience can be like. This was by far the best rental experinece I have ever had. The young men and women running the agency in Richmond IN were competent, pleasant and efficient. When I dropped the vehicle off the manager Ryan insured I had a ride to my destination and checked my vehicle in promptly. When I returned home I realized that I had left my vehicle keys in the car. They had my keys and promptly mailed them back to me by Federal Express. That was above and beyond. I would be happy to reimburse them for sending them express. Again I had a tremendous experience and would rent from enterprise again.

Poorly maintained rental

The rental vehicle I rented in El Cajon, CA was poorly maintained and old. When I returned the vehicle, the representative ignored the claim I was trying to make when their vehicle leaked oil all over my garage. I provided him with photos of the damage and then sent a letter to the rental company and to date they have not acknowledged my claim and the manager won't return my calls. It sure is a different story when you have damaged one of their vehicles, though. Big corporations are such thieves. I will never go to that company again and they use to be the best. Not anymore.
