its a bad company when they when they let there employes take pic of other people on the job and pass it around
If I could give Enterprise a negative 10 I would at this point....Make a long story short I rented a vehicle from them for about 30 hours while my car was getting fixed, and put less then 20 miles on it. 15 minutes after I left there I was at my husbands job and he was looking at the truck and noticed a piece of plastic broke off the top part of the folding mirror. I called them right away and told them and they put a note in the computer and stated not to worry about it, wrong......They have charged my credit card $500.00 for damage that I didn't do, and refuse to refund it. However, I did find out that it cost them $175.00 to replace the mirror....Hmmm, where is the other $325.00 going? I am disputing the charges with Enterprise and with my credit card company and I have filed complaints with them as well. I will continue to file complaints until they refund my card back. The company doesn't call back when they say they are going to, they lie about things, they accuse you of lying, charge when they shouldn't, etc.....I have nothing nice to say about them at this point except I will Never rent a car from them or recommend them to anyone, I would rather walk then for them to have my business again. Just Wow is all I can say about my experience with them :(
Best rental car experience ever at the Enterprise Car Rental @ the Portland International Airport (PDX). My family and I flew in on the 6th and had a reservation through Costco for a full size car with a child seat. We decided to upgrade to a minivan and Joe immediately took good care of us with excellent service. The only thing that held us up was when Joe returned with his manager(Ian) and explained that there were no more toddler seats available and he explained that he will head over to Target and grab us one. In addition to that, he wanted to take off one day on our rental for the inconvenience and went above and beyond to make our experience top notch. I had some bad experiences in the past with rental car companies but the staff at the PDX airport really put that faith back in me that there are companies out there still holding up great service for their customers. I will definitely look forward to renting with them again when I fly into Portland next.
Okay let me start by saying I reserved a large SUV with enterprise in olivebranch ms off ashley cove a month and a half before time I called a whole week straight prior to my reservation to make sure everything was good in the system and to see what all I needed to bring when I pick up the car the lady was like the only thing you need when you arrive to pick up your rental is cash debit or credit and then she read back my reservation....so two days prior to me picking up the rental I call to confirm my reservation and again to see what all I needed to bring to pick my rental again the lady says cash debit or credit card.....on the day of the reservation I arrived 20 minutes early and the sign on the front desk says "no cash is taken at this location" so I was like that's find I have a debit card...so while I was getting checked in the man ask for a bill I was like I don't have a bill with me and I wasn't told to bring a bill with me and he said well you can pull a bill on the internet and print it off if you have one....lucky I did so then the lady next to him who was supposedly work on another person order looks over and says she has to use a major credit card in order to rent this SUV.......I was like well I don't and she was like well sorry there is nothing we can do... and I said look like to me you would have call and let me know ahead of time and she said we did call 3 days straight this week and I said yall couldn't have I haven't received any calls or missed calls from enterprise and she says its in our computer as a memo call 3 days no answer and I said if you call and didn't reach anyone why didn't you leave a message and if it was in a memo on your computer how come the lady I spoke with 2 days ago didn't mention it when I call to confirm; no one said anything only looked I said I would like to speak with your manager surprisingly the manager was standing beside her the whole time listening but never said anything. I asked how were we going to fix this problem because I leave to go out of town today the hotels are already booked I can't cancel because its too late too they have already charge my card $600 for the rooms and I need a vehicle that fit 7 people and if I don't go then that's money I have lost all because of this company and the manager looked at me and said I understand but its nothing we can do..... Never again will I rent from any enterprise just because of this one, because if one operates like this then I don't to take another chance on any other enterprise in be fooled like this ever again!
How is this company in business? I have rented locally with this location twice now, but have rented from Palatka Fl location several more times. Every car I have rented at the Ocala location has had a issue, the first Mazda 3 had really bad brakes!, I mentioned this to employees and they just blew it off! Then i rented a Ford Focus to drive 400+ miles one way and of course needed to return home...This car had transmission problems, I called Ocala and reported the issue, ask what I needed to do. (I was on the interstate traveling) I was simply told to take the car to the nearest enterprise! No I am sorry for the problem, let me help you... I ask if they could help me find a location, he said "Take it to the nearest Enterprise" loudly & hung up on me. So, I drove the car to Ft. Oglethorpe Ga and I called the local Enterprise there, he said he had no cars for me, try another location! I tried Lee hwy, he said he was closing soon & didn't have anything to help me! He said to try the airport in Chattanooga Tn location. So I called there and Tia said this should have never happened, I should have been brought a car immediately! She called Ft Ogle. loc and told me they had 2 suvs available but would be closing soon. I ended up taking the car to the airport location where the person at the counter went out looked the car over and told me there were dings/small dents that were not written on my papers, so now I am being accused of damaging this car! Really? The guys at Ocala barely even walk around the cars, I pointed out this particular dent on the car to him, he said oh there's always going to be those! then I am accused of the damage because he didn't write it down. This calling, running all over town trying to find a car on Sat to drive home on Sun was ridiculous and took up the majority of my time on Sat. not to mention it was 107 degree heat that day in Chatt Tn at the airport parking area waiting on another car to be cleaned! So, I am not happy at all, my husband took the car back upon return to Ocala. He explains my issues...oh well we will take 15% off and forget about the "dents"!!!!!! I just want someone in the home office to know why at least this one customer is not happy and will do anything in my power to not use Enterprise again. I booked a flight & car last night online for another trip...I used Hertz! Maybe they have better service and appreciation for their customers.

I realize from reading all the comments above that this will never be read by anyone with any authority but here goes anyway. I have been a customer of Enterprise for a long time and have rented autos all over the country but never in Lawton, Oklahoma on Cache Road. I reserved a small car earlier in the week to be picked up on Thursday morning at 8AM. The pricing was a little strange but I agreed to the price. $49.95 on Thursday and $9.99 per day until Monday morning. When I went to pick up the auto I told the counter person that there would be another driver. He was licensed as I was. The counter person asked if he was on my insurance for other vehicles. I told him no. He then informed me that there would be another $10.00 for an additional driver. He also wanted to know if the vehicle would leave the state to which I replied no. To pay $9.99 per day to rent an automobile and another $10.00 per day for another driver seems strange to say the least. I should have kept my mouth shut. Since I was renting the auto I would be responsible so why $10.00 tacked on every day. I will use Enterprise again but never in Lawton OK. I'll go to the airport next rental.
Worst experience that I have ever had with ANY service industry based company. I am now composing a letter to the President of this company, we will see if this has any effect or if I even get an answer. NEVER RENT ANYTHING FROM THIS OUTFIT THEY ARE THE WORST, THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE LIES, THEIR REPS ARE HORRIBLE. They should be shut down.
The WORST of the WORST!!!! NEVER will I ever deal with enterprise AGAIN!! Customer Service is the WORST!! i had a car rental through my insurance company and i had to use my credit card for the fifty dollar deposit and to my suprise ENTERPRISE TOOK two hundred and sixty dollars off my card. I spoke with the manager and he claimed it would take three to five business days to refund my money back..it has been two weeks and i'm still waiting. I call they leave me on hold never to pick the phone up again!!as i'm on hold I go up to the office everyone is standing around talking while i'm STILL on hold STANDING in the office doing absolutley NOTHING.ANYONE who is looking for a RENTAL CAR DO NOT and i repeat DO NOT give the ANY of your credit card info!!! The WORST OF THE WORST!! DO NOT give these people you credit card information!!! I repeat DO NOT!! I had reservations through my insurance company, was told I had to have a $50 deposit and once they got my card info they Charged my card $260!!! I complained and they said the money would be back on my card 3-5 business days.... It has been 2 weeks and I'm STILL waiting!!!I call the office they leave me on hold and NEVER pick the phone back up!! It took me 30 minutes to get to the office and I'm STILL on hold as i walk in the office everyone is standing around talking while I'm STILL on hold!!! I have been given the run around to long and NO-ONE had a answer, so with this being said LEGAL Actions are on the way!!!! DO NOT RENT from this lying, stealing and Horrible customer service company!! I am VERY disappointed with enterprise!!!
My 23 year old son who joined the military right out of high scool to serve our country took his jeep to be serviced under warrenty to a very large dealership in Langhorne pennsylvania REEDMAN TOLL.He wanted to do this on his own of course. Came home and told me they gave him a car from Enterprise.Long story short the Young lady that rented him the car said he needed a 50 dollar deposit> Then proceeded to tell him about all the extras, ins, and other crap.He truely did not understand because he was under the understanding to follow direction. He should not have to take any out of pocket money due to his warranty and full coverage on his own Jeep.We both have called this Jessica and the manager to discuss this and where told they will return our call. It has been over a week now and still no return call. All she told him when he returned the car was he owed them another 78 dollars. Of course he doesnt have it.Our appriciation for our veterns he now works for 8 bucks an hour and is still payig for his Jeep & ins.Something needs to be done about the ignorance and takin advantage of customers.Both from Big Corporations and Dealerships who take from the lower class.I have told and will keep on telling eveyone I can do not use ENTERPRISE...GO BUDGET they might not be as big but they sure are more courtyous. I thought I had it bad! I was rented not ONE but, Two, cars that had no brakes! Enterprise, chased me down for anotther down payment. They could have cared less about our safety,all who rode in the car. The last car, the brake pads were metal to metal? The rotor, was completely gone. What did the Einsteins do? deducted the cost to replace the rotor and both front brakes? In other words,for two entire months, it was o.k. for me to drive "DEATH TRAPS" when I reported Enterprise to the BBB, the district mgr. lied by saying I never returned his call? What an ASS! I demanded to be refunded the entire amount paid on those "BUCKETS" I am waiting to hear from the BBB.
Enterprise is the worst company as far as customer service goes...its amazing to me how they have are still open and growing, but thats what us americans do keep the worst businesses opened....lets stop patronizing them!!!!!!
I can see that I am not alone. I had been a customer for more than then years. I rent long term. I was in that particular car since 2012. I had been renting from them continuously long term since 2008 and very regularly for many years prior. I had a zero balance on my account on the day a letter was sent (by Loss Prevention) ordering me to park the car, notify them of the location (literally around the corner from the store) and, threatening me with criminal charges (Grant Theft Auto). Apparently, I was 5 days late in coming in to sign my regular contract for a car that I had been driving for over two years. And for that, according to their most recent branch manager, I deserve a Felony-Traffic Stop and Criminal Charges. She told me that out of her own mouth. So, renting from them is also potentially very dangerous, and I think these experiences that we have had should be reported to St. Louis. I don't think they are fully aware that their brand is being destroyed.
Hands down worst rental company!!! I was treated so badly, please do not rent from them take your money elsewhere.
Customer service SUCKS! Worst car rental place ever! I picked up a vehicle we'd evening June 19th-on thurs morning a light came on showing low tire pressure- I pulled into a service station and filled the low tire with air-fri the light came on again while I was on the highway with my 4 yr.old in the car-sat morning woke up to head up to enterprise to exchange vehicle for a different safe car-the front tire was flat!! I called them and they said there was nothing they could do to help me-I filled the tire with fix a flat and air so I could get the damn car back there!! When I finally got up there they told me it was my fault that the car was"damage free" when they gave it to me so I was responsible for replacing the tire-valve and sensor that I broke! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I didn't brake anything! They gave me an unsafe car with a bad tire!! They wouldn't give me a different car unless I signed something taking responsibility for something I DIDNT do.they were sooo rude-can't believe how they treated a women and a child and left us stranded at there location! I will definitely be taking legal action after I came to find out there was a huge RECALL on jeep liberty valve stems with faulty sensors!! They try to make good customers pay for there ridiculous problems!!!
the brentwood office in MISSOURI, IS A RIP OFF AND HAVE GOTTEN ALMOST $3K AND HAD ME DO EXTRA INSURANCE THAT I DID NOT NEED BECAUSE I HAD MY OWN PERSONAL INSURANCE AND THEN THEY TRIED TO SAY THEY COULDNT REFUND ME ANYTHING BECAUSE IT WAS CLOSE AFTER I TURNED THAT CAR IN. THEN I EMAILED THE CORPORATE OFFICE NO RESPONSE AND THEN THE MANAGER AT THAT BRANCH CALLED ME IN AND TRIED TO SLICK TALK ME....CHECKED MY BANK ACCOUNT TODAY AND THEY TOOK OUT MONIES OUT MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION OR KNOWLEDGE....I AM TOO MAD AND READY TO GO OFF ON THEM
I had made a reservation for two vans. The trainee took down the information. No van delivery. Run around and inaccurate information when the vans would come. Used excuse about no staff to deliver two vans. Rather than find a solution. The agents promised delivery.. Today no vans. Per other customer comments, this is the norm not the exception.
I"m waiting for the final outcome before i post my experience with tara j. and Enterprise on Campbells run rd.
I will get ahold of corporate and tell them my feelngs. It is NOT good business to keep matters away from the executives.
