I went into your Clyde/Merivale location early Sunday morning with my sister and cousin after a party ,where my sister and I proceeded to go to the washroom.My cousin was sitting at the table where she observed, think her name is Stephany telling Tamera "Did you get a look at her by where the cooks are" where they had a good chuckle on my behalf. I have never been so insulted in an establishment as I have been on that morning. Tamera couldn't keep the grin off her face and the other waitress just tried not to address me. Poor Simon the waiter tried to defuse the situation but by that time we(my sister and cousin had lost our appetite and had to get fast food). We love the fact that your restaurant is open 24 hours, but this behavior has put a knot in my stomach. I will be looking into this situation further as I am a fan of Denney's, to see what action was taken towards these two waitresses. Sincerely, Lou-Ann Hernandez

A pigsty of a restaurant.There was food on the filthy carpet under the booths as well as places through out.Myself and two friends were so grossed out that we took a chance and ordered coffee instead of the breakfasts we were looking forward to.Even drinking the coffee made me nervous.The topper was one of my friends went into the mens room on the way out and came out immediately saying that it was one of the most disgusting bathrooms he had ever had the misfortune to step into.I will never ever risk my health in another Dumpys (Dennys).Ugh!

Dennys in Roseburg Oregon next to the Dunes Motel was the best food I have eaten in any Dennys across the Country. Try the blueberry pancakes or for lunch their nachos. In fact the food is better than 90% of the resturants out there. Also the Dunes motel was great with free internet and they even have a computer in the lobby you can use. R.Allen, Seattle, Wa

So I visited a Denny's in Texas and was kindly informed that they stopped serving the favorite peanut butter pie and peanut butter milkshake due to food allergies. I find this DISCRIMINATORY against those who have other food allergies that if removed from a menu would cause unrest amongst most consumers such as gluten, strawberry, egg, etc.. I doesn't seem fair that items clearly labeled containing a particular ingredient that could pose an allergy is removed from the menu without others being removed for the same reason. I tried to file a complaint directly to the Denny's headquarters and couldn't find the link to submit a complaint. This is VERY annoying and frankly Denny's corporations are just going downhill from this review and others posted here and elsewhere >:(

While looking for corporate coupons I decided to read a few of the posted comments. Very interesting reading to be sure. Some of these customers are outrageous. Who in their right mind co Wins about lettuce or what kind of pickle is used. If a customer wants tuna or a certain type of bread, they should go to a sandwich shop or grocery store. Who complains to a manager because a female child goes into a male restroom? Did he really intend to put that blame on the Denny's corporation. Who care if a waitress wanted the bacon back in a dirty soup bowl. It doesn't belong to that customer. Let Denny's dispose of it however they like. I like Denny's, and have found some locations are much better than others. Service is always individual based. I just think that some of these customers go way to far.

I went to the Dennys In Houston, Texas. Gulfgate. It was HORRIBLE. The place was dirty. The high chair was filthy still had food from the previous guest (it wasnt at the tabke it was stacked where the other high chairs were). The server came to out table (which was about 4 tables pushed together). She took our drink order from that side. Never moved around so basically we all had to yell over everyone. Then she brought us our plates. I was putting my sons toy together that he received for his birthday the day before. Well she didnt wait until I was done instead she continued to hand me the plate but before she did. She burned my arm. When she handed my mother her coffee she didnt give it to me with the handle instead she made me burn my hand grabbing the cup. HORRIBLE I WILL stick with IHOP.

I recently went to eat at Dennys in Fredonia NY. I go often and my service is always excellent, however the atmosphere is horrible the manager Andrea is very demeaning to her staff and calls them names like pigs and follows them into the dining room to embarass them. I understand that her position is to supervise but she is terrible. I wont wste my time going back to witness this woman who has obvious control issues treat her staff this way. As a company hopefully you care enough about your emloyees to intervene. The poor rating is due to her and her only, I have watched her through the short time, maybe two years chase most of the good reliable servers out, some had been there for years and years.

My family wen to Denny's in Ocean City, Maryland a few days ago. We were seated, and then forgotten about! No one came to our table to take so much as a drink order!We got up, and left. Very poor service! Will NOT return ever!!

On 6/11/2012 My family and I visited the Denny's in Brunswick, Ga., the waitress came over to take our order. Like several times before, they were out of half of the items on their menu. She took our oder after we found something they weren't out of. approx: 45 min. later they approached our table and advised us that for some unknown reason our ticket had been misplaced, personally I think the waitress forgot to turn it in. It will be a while before we attempt to eat at this resturant again, they don't seem to know how to order, to avoid running out of eveything.While we were waiting I noticed there were a lot of orders that came out all wrong, and had to be corrected.

Although, the food wasn't bad, I was appolled at the cleanlyness. The bathroom, I am sure hadn't been clean for months. Around the stool was covered with dirt, hair and tissues. The stool was also filthy, as well as the floor. I don;t think I have ever been in a restraunt where it was so dirty. This restrant is located on Hamilton street, in St. Louis , Mo I am sure you want to address this immediately. Thank You Ann Draker

Re: Denny's on U.S. 441 in Eustis, Fl: We ate breakfast this a.m. and it was horrible. Silverware was dull and tarnished, coffee cup was dirty and I asked for a clean one. She brought one that was just as bad. We ordered the $4. breakfast, specifically requesting our eggs over medium, no runny whites, and crisp bacon, and link sausage browned. The eggs were undercooked, the bacon wasn't crisp, nor was the sausage browned. In addition, the pancakes were cold. The coffee was strong it was bitter. I might add that usually we eat at the Leesburg location and it is usually very good. The service at Eustis was poor but the service at Leesburg is always good. Apparently management is a problem but the quality of the food from one place to the other is entirely different. We won't eat at Eustis again.

I spoke to a 36-year employee of Denny"s yesterday around three o"clockish in the afternoon. At the time. I was at Baylor Dental College in a very busy clinic waiting room. I really appreciate the personal attention and the 36 year veteran"s time. I spoke to the former Denny"s Junkies in my party and we still feel like we have to give Denny's a rest. Denny"s has left a sour taste in our mouths for a while now. Sorry! One thing that hurt my friend"s feelings was the Birthday refusal. As insignificant as this may seem, it was a bad tone- setter. We have had a lot of illness and medical problems lately, and we felt that on our vacation -3 days- we just needed some kindness. There are a lot of restaurants with not as rigid a policy , so, we are going to stick with those. We couldn"t have been at Denny"s on Vincent"s birthday as he had to FAST for a medical procedure. Anyway, elderly people are like little babies. Also, my friend, Gene Street from Consolidated Restaurant Corp. did in some capacity have a part in Denny"s some kind of way, I remember reading about it in the paper as well as talking to him. Hello I have been in Customer Service for a few years (12 years). I have also worked a few diffrent states. They say that Customer Service is a all time low. I think that it has a lot to do with the Management and above. If your workplace is fun and enjoyable. You will get a great staff that is willing to be great and wonderful! Now, like I stated before I have been in a lot of places, and Denny's needs HELP! They only think about the money that is coming into the company not the employees. You look at the faces of the staff and I dont see smiles I see distress. Why? Telling your employees to make or try to upsell or you will lose your job. I dont think that helps the overall moral in the workplace. Make Smiles the make money!

Denny's Restaurent #7464 Commercial blvd and Dixie Hwy Fort Lauderdale fl.The place is disgusting, A/C vents, rugs, mold on ceiling with water stains.

We thought we would start a good Sunday morning with our family at Dennys. Instead we waited forty minutes with a three year old child who did amazing but would be a disaster for most to get our food. Then hashbrowns weren't cooked nor was the saige and the rest ice cold wow! To only get worse a microwaved steak nasty. To the my son again three needed to use the restroom to find walls toilet paper holder with fecal matter speared all over everything! Can you say health hazard this place should be shut down. Putting people lives at risk! What a horrid place. Will never ever go to any Dennys again should shut them all down

I was at the dothan alabama rest.whenever I overheard a manager cursing out and berating a very nice female waitress. I thought she had been very nice. I do not think its very respectable for managers to curse employees out. Im sure he has few mstakes. Nobody deserves that in front of other customers too.

Visited Dennys in adelanto California, they left us standing for 20 minutes, ignored us, we never were seated, and they didn't answer their phone when we tried to call 3 times. Will b reporting them to consumer affairs.

My husband and I went to Denny's almost every day for many years, It was like home from home because the server we asked for, The servers and managers themselves would sit and talk to us, and just would be pleasant visit until a new manager (Mike ) came to the restaurant located in York Pa. on Loucks Rd. Which he even would come to us and talk, and now he has made threats of the servers that they would get fired if they would sit and talk to us. Just wanted to let you know this kind of managing of your restaurants will not keep your customers coming. We will not be returning to Denny's, we will eat somewhere else from now on. Due to his head swelling power that he thinks he has,which he should really be checked out himself by the way he talks, acts and actions he takes with his workers that I have witness myself first hand. I know from the time he came to Denny's you have lost many good workers from there He has changed the whole atmosphere all around.

I vised your Denny's on Royal Palm Beach Blvd in Florida this past weekend. The food was good and the server. The hostess and manager not as good. No one to take your name or sitting. After our meal my 8 year old daughter asked to go to the bathroom. When we walked in it was so extremely dirty and decated that my daugher vomit. It was the nost awful experience. To think this is a visible place, I cannot image the kitchen. This by far was not a good experience.

My wife and I were traveling and stopped at a Dennys in Fayetteville Arkansas, We frequent Dennys every where we go. We had the most helpful friendly little freckle faced waitress her name was Pam, she did everythign in a timely manner and made us feel very at home. However, the manager of the store re-premanded her for other customers that were upset, they seemed to be upset about a mistake the "cook" had made not her. She did this in front of all of us,in the middle of the dining room, Pam did very well she kept her composure,we felt so bad for her we tipped her more.We feel this is very unprofessional. Perhaps the manager should be examined or given some time off or something,it was indeed in our opinion very uncalled for.So tell Pam thanks for the great service and keep it up,not many people have that kind of customer service anymore.
