10- rating for Comcast - every time I have a problem, I call Comcast & get some friggin' foreigner from some "off shore" office that tries to sell me a plan and is of no assistance to me whatsoever with a problem I may have. I pay near $2000 a year for this friggin' B.S. Comcast has only 1 phone # 1-800-266-2278 - but first you have to listen to a series of friggin' tapes - how much you paid for your last bill & a lot of other B.S !!! You cannot get through to ANYONE!!! Comcast is really a scumbag outfit - every day there are repeated repeats of show, movies, and other progroms I have seen 30 years ago or more !!! YOU PEOPLE REALLY SUCK!!! SCUMBAGS !!!
I have now called 7 times in a 24 hour period and still no one know what they are doing over there at Comcast. I have a small business and can not receive call from anyone. I can make call, but no one can contact me. Working fine on Tuesday and every day for the last 4 years, but not anymore. I have now call the corporate offices and still no response. If I could only stop their phones from working so that they can see how if feel to lose business. They are leaving my no choice, but to sue them for lost business. Brian Roberts should go to hell!
This is to end an ongoing problem....from over a year. My son's t. v. was broken when the installer was installing their Comcast. During the install of the phones, they took me from 5 jacks, down to one. I have been in touch with your office and thought this situation had been taken care of. You offered to pay for the t.v.repair and the repairman DID call to repair my phone. The day he called, it was pouring rain and I told him to call when it stopped raining, since the work would have been outside. I was trying to be considerate. I called to re-make the appointment and we started 'not showing up', again. My bill is suppose to be $58.00 and it is still $66.00. This is what I am going to do, I am ordering my son's a t. v. and sending the bill to you. Forget the phones, I am disabled and after telling this issue over and over for over a year, it is wearing one me. I have never been so worn, over internet service. I am just DONE, now. I want someone to go over my bill, back to where I removed the t.v.s and phone and credit my account. That was when i lowered it and reminded the lady at the corporate office when I was speaking with her. made an appointment for a tech to set up new service from 10 to 2 today my girlfriend took a day of work <would have made 100. today> to be there to meet the cable guy... I have a job thats how I am able to pay bills. So when i got a call at 9:55 this morning I was not able to awnser no message was even left. I tried to call the number back several times. realizing it was the cable tech I called the comcast to see what the issue was and they said the tech canceled my order and said I had to replace it. Want to reschedual for 2 more days that means I have to take a day off work on friday and I make 22. an hour so thats 184. I get to loose out on. oh but they offered me a 25. credit on my account do the FREAKING math- every one 100+184=284-25CREDIT =259. hOW DOES THAT FIX ANYTHING???????OH AND WITH INSTALLATION FIRST MONTH BILL BOXES TAXES ECT MY FIRST BILL WILL BE TADA 225.-THE CREDIT 200... MORE MATH REALISTICALLY MY FIRST MONTH OF CABLE WITH COMCAST WILL COST ME A TOTAL OF 459. CAN I SEND THEM A BILL IS THIS A BREECH OF CONTRACT? Had scheduled tech for new install at 12pm, called to check status of tech, rep stated that it would be 2hrs for tech to come to my home. Two hrs came and left and tech never showed. Didn't it bother to get service with Comcast. Comcast should close their business, they are garbage!!!
My partner and I bought a property out of foreclosure and have tried to get our Bulk service changed for over a year now. We still get over billed for crappy service. I called every week constantly and get transfered to all kinds of other departments and never anyone who knows what their doing or talking about with the service. Finally we just stopped paying the bill and some one called us and told us we are obligated to continue the contract as is. The contract was signed with the past owners in 1986 and this woman tries to tell me I have to keep the service wether I want it or not. What a joke!!These people are really stupid in the offices. So we'll See you in small claims court Comcast !! The Account Execs name is Miriam Colon-Decker 954-514-8312 and is uneducated in business. Her Supervisor whom we've tried to call and left many messages is Maggie Hutter 954-514-8310. Comcast is losing business due to these two peoples stupidity !! This is customer service at Comcast !
WARNING: DON'T PAY ON LNE BY CHECK! New way to relieve you of your money. For 3 months I used the same account to pay my bill on line and received a confirmation number..this month also. Was I surprised when I got a THREATENING LETTER saying that I had better make my payment, now with a $30 insufficient fund penalty and $8 late payment or they will disconnect! What? I called my banker who is willing to testify that NO ONE from Comcast sent my check for payment - no record at all and insufficient funds is a joke. Comcast maintains that "somehow the computer, all by itself messed up the numbers of my account." AND the tech said THIS HAPPENS OFTEN!.. What idiot is going to believe they have a gremlin in their computer messing the comcast web site!. When I challenged him he hung up on me.!! FAIR WARNING - I am finding a company who needs business and will appreciate customers. Comcast doesn't need us that's why the company delivers such poor service but they will still cheat you.

Comcast alarm , Internet and cable has been a night mare for me I been trying to resolve this issue for month Comcast send one technician cater another trying to fix it my Internet will not work in the middle room , back room or any of the areas of the house around the house. They send me several of difrent modem and nothing. The alarm had that my front door was open at all times I wasn't able to activate or diactivate from any of my device. On Thursday July 13 I call Comcast and spoke to over 14 difrent customer service representive from supervisor to everyone and they lie by giving me false info about appoinmet for the same day from 1-3pm then from 3-5pm then all the sudden the appointment got cancelled to Sunday with out my notification. Comcast promise the issue to be resolve and nothing was done but me waiting on the phone and transfer from one person to another some of them even hang up the phone. Every single one of them just knew how to say "I'm sorry" I think that part of the way how to greet costumer . Don't forget that I was informed I have 3 days to returned the cable box if not I'll be charge for it and I'll be charge also for the alarm disconnecting fee that is 1200.00 for service that never work Right !!!
I am throughly put out with comcast !! Every day for the past month i have a tv that cuts out on the lower channels, what is going on ? NO satisfaction from the company AND i can't understand anything they say, their english is so broken. I am going to turn to Direct TV and hope it will give me better service.
On July 7, 2012 I Dereese Parker is very DISAPPOINTED,ANGRY, UPSET,and it was very inconveient for us on this day with COMCAST customer service. I will never refer anyone to this company for service. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Not willing to satisfied you as a customer, nor transfer you to a manager or supervisor. Cut your service OFF in the middle of your conversation with comcast. BLOCK you from the office when i'm trying to call into the company Many times(6 times). When i used a different phone i got threw...What company does that to a customer! This issue needs to be resolved asap threw comcast. My issue is that i had service for three months with comcast, and out of those months i have made 5 payments threw my bank account with my debit card. Now the Rep from comcast state's that they ONLY recieved one payment from me in June 2012. I checked bank account and was able to pull up those different transactions that comcast debit my account on different days. FOUR payments wasn't posted under my comcast account. So where did the payments go? Now i'm beening held this CRAZY balance of 433.00. Now that i see how comcast REP'S work, I no longer will be a customer to COMCAST. I will cancel out this account once resolved! will return all equipment...need to retrain ALL comcast rep's!
I am disgusted with constant 80 year old programs dead actors actress and continue raise in rates. Also all this paid programing you are already paid for and we have to pay you people to view such junk and you keep inserting your many commercials also more in one hour of program than the actual show.What is happening in america, guess country is broke and bankrupt as we keep hearing, when are you people going to let us all know what you obviously have known for a long time.
I had to fire comcast last week. They tried the ol' "Bait & Switch" on me through what they called a verbal agreement. Last year I was fed up with Comcast, their lousy service and over-pricing of their packages. I rounded up all my equipment and headed down to the local office. I spent the previous three days on the phone with comcast trying to get them to downgrade our services or put us on a special for another six months. They refused to do it and they wanted 170 dollars a month for basic expanded cable with low broadband internet. I finally took everything down to the office to turn it in and the representative over the counter tried everything to keep my business. Finally she offered for me to keep the same service I had for 82 dollars a month but Stars and HBO would go up five dollars each after the first year on a two year contract. I had never heard of a contract with cable before now but I was thinking this wouldn't be a bad deal. I was wrong... The lady behind the counter dialed a phone number and handed me the phone. She instructed me to say "I agree" each time prompted by the recording on the automated phone call. I agreed and did as I was told and said "I agree" three times. Between each time all the recording said was "Do you agree to the terms and conditions explained to you" I said "I agree" - a whole year goes by and I pay comcast the 82 dollars a month and after that year my bill started showing 170.00 a month. I canceled immediately on the first month they raised my bill. I contacted Comcast and they told me I was under a contract that stated I was to pay full price for my services for the entire second year of this two year contract. This is classic bait and switch and it was outlawed during the 1950's in just about every state in the union. I guess Comcast is above the law. Anyway, now they are saying my final bill for canceling the contract early was 180.00 and they plan on holding me to that amount until collection and credit is involved. I plan on contacting the Missouri Attorney General and I have already filed a complaint with the BBB... Comcast is the worst company I have ever had to deal with in my life. I thought MA BELL was bad 30 years ago but Comcast puts MA Bell to shame on corrupt practices. Maybe a class action lawsuit is in order?
As I read the above "complaints"..I also wonder how Neil Smit Steve Burke and Brian Roberts have lined they're pockets at the never ending always rising price of the exact same service or no service.. hour long waiting on the phone with incompetent help..no one ever answers your question and transfers you when they don't like what you have to say.. I will be writing a letter to YOU Neil Smit.. I'm sure you will never see nor read it.. with your Navy Seal days behind you..I suppose you feel like you can skate through the rest of your life off the backs of the people you once served. I had orderd service for my home on Monday the 2od and was on the phone a good 2 hours and they gave me a install date of friday July 6 between 8-12 and 1-5 I was told I would get a call back in a few hours to get a better time frame of am or pm so I waited no call back I figured it was because of the holiday so I called on Thursday the 5 just to see what time so I wouldn't have to sit home all day waiting for them to come I waited the usual 20 minutes on hold the was told that have no record of my order am I sure I placed it with them I'm like are you kidding I then was told that I have a bad address and if I'm sure Im giving the right number again are you kidding I've lived here 37 years I was then told that my house was not serviceable ? the neighbors on both sides of me have comcast as well as my neighbor directly across the street how is it I'm not? I spent 5 hours on the phone yesterday they are now saying they need to send a survey team out to see ...well again how is it everyone around me get it & not me ? the cable box that connects to the neighbors is in my back yard on Tuesday the 3rd a Comcast worker jumped my fence to get to the box surely he seen my house while jumping the fence now I'm told that my house number is not in thier billing well I've never had Comcast so why would it I've gotten nothing but the run around now they said I have to give it another week to add my address to thier billing system and have a survey crew come out to see if I'm serviceable and just because my direct neighbors have it doesn't mean I can get it what a joke they have been rude and broken English people working I asked the woman to repeat my phone number back and of course it was wrong I had to repeat myself over and over needless to say of the 4 or 5 people said they would give me a call back never did I do not believe they care it's like a big joke to them to aggravate you beyond belief I will just go elseware for service they think 2-3 weeks is good ?
Today I telephone your billing department at the 1-800-xfinity line. Afterwards, I was directed to a service technition for additional information. The representative put his phone on "LOUD AND SCARY" mode. Sorry, but I did not appreciate the service to say the least. My advise to you: from now on treat your customers with more respect please. You will keep your customers longer, and we will respect you in return. Receive us with more seriousness please, in the right way.
This is the worst company I have ever. Dealt with everyone is right all they want is your money They are now subbing out so here we go no one speaks English so not only do they not listen when you speak to them they just play dumb which they are what a joke pay top dollar for lousy service if I can get another provider That is exactly what I am going to do let's see how many customers they loose before the change their policies.
I called for cable back on January 29th and was told that it would be the 16th of February before I could get service. I failed to mention that I have a Comcast tech living directly behind me. Once I got cable installed it has been nothing but problems ever since. The lastest happened a couple of weeks ago. I called Comcast because I was having issues with my DVR and told the tech that I needed a new one, but she insisted on resetting and reprogramming the equipment. At the end of the called, she said that she would have to have a tech come out and look at the issue. The appointment was scheduled for 7 DAYS LATER....That Monday I was scheduled from 9-11 AND AT 2:45 I called to find out why the tech was not there and she said that she would have the tech call me back. He finally called back around 5:15 and said that it was too far out and he did not know where it was. I finally got a tech out here and he determined that I needed a new DVR and was going to have one shipped directly to my house, that was a week ago and I called about it this morning and it has not been ordered yet...I just got through filing a complaint with the Corporate Office thinking this might help, but with the response that I am getting from the field, I THINK THAT NO ONE AT COMCAST COULD GIVE A RATS BEHIND ABOUT YOU.......
I am trying to pay you money. Why can't I find the number for collections. I have called and called several numbers. Not one person can help me. I dispute that I owe the money but just want to get it off my credit report. That's a good way t make some extra money, Comcast! So I would like for you to have my $101.00 and I can't even find anyone to give it to. I tracked down a phone number for collections .... but it was in the North East. I am in the South East and the woman didn't know that number. I called corporate HQ ph. number and twice got directed to an office where I was put on hold only to finally get through and have a recorded voice tell me that the office was closed. It is Monday afternoon at 1:30. Do you lock up to go take lunch ... must be spending my $101.00 at some schwanky place for the 2 of you running that corporate office ... maybe if you'd hire more people, you could offer what is known to most people as customer service. Oh, now I see the fine print up there ... this is only for a review ... not to get in touch with Comcast. What a bunch of FN idiots. If I ran my business like this, I'd NOT be in business. Yeah, I'd say a little class action would be appropriate. Out of 20 reviews, 17 people give Comcast a ONE STAR RATING.
This is a rude and poor company services I have ever known. They just have lost another customer. I am happy to terminate Comcast and move to other Internet provider.
