Citibank is comprised of uneducated morons. Citibank cannot post a working number because they do not know how to handle disgruntled customers and employees. so they post a website that nobody reads nor responds to. just spread the word and everyday more customers and employees will join the anti Citibank bandwagon, until finally it will affect their bottom line. the more negative feedback the more other people will get the message and the greater the likelihood that hackers will attack Citibank and free some of those ill-gotten gains.

I am basically contacting an attorney in reference to a refund they will not issue, I had a death in my family and they still would not offer a refund due to my not being able to travel....I deleted the reservation three days which is the hotel policy however this shady company has a four day window, please do not give this company any business.....You will be sorry

I have a Citibank Prepaid card thru work, that is how they pay. Citibank has taken their sweet time to credit any moneys back to me after filing a dispute on my account. No one at Citibank seems to know how to do math! Minus the amount being disputed I should have a remaining balance of 41.29, but instead its 20.55. All together my balance should be closer to 180.00. I highly suggest anyone considering Citibank to run as fast as you can away from this money stealing greedy company. Last week their automated service didn't "update" and caused my card to decline even though there was well over the amount needed. After it finally "updated" 2 days later, they nailed me with decline fees!!!! RUN!!!! They are crooks.

Telephone Inquiry

I went online to locate a branch telephone number. I'm in the process of refinancing with Citi, and spent 15 minutes on hold with customer service, 5 minutes on hold with the branch. In my opinion that seems a bit lengthy to leave a 10 second voicemail for one of your associates. Branch locations don't have phone numbers published, which seems very ineffective. Please update your processes, many potential customers probably just hang up because they get tired of perpetual hold and prompts,

Foreign Transaction Fees

I have a Chase/United Airlines card, IN ADDITION TO the CITIBANK VISA AADVANTAGE CARD which I have had for years.. Chase/UA just sent me a mailing informing me that effective June 1, they stopped assessing foreign transaction fees. Because I have always considered this a rip-off, I will move all foreign trx to them (and probably most others) - unless you change.

Does the Citibank Corporate Offices care about the review at all?

After I wrote my review, I checked that my review has never showed up. Not only that, non showed up since May 21. A huge corporation has only 125 reviews.

The phone system is horrible. When I finally called another number, they transferred me right back to the automated response I was already on hold with. We need to speak with people!

Citimortgage completely ignores customer notification of fraud and/or forgery, with evidence, committed against them and the FHA, and does not even acknowledge receipts after having received them for over 2 years forcing customer to file reports with HUD and the CFPB.

phone access system is disgusting

the voice command system for phone access is absolutely atrocious.why did citibank change from the touch tone system which was perfect to this abomination is a mystery.is the person with the voice romantically linked to one of the head honchos?? this close to switching to TD bank.call 800-yes-2000 and see what a system is supposed to sound like.

Worst Company in US

I have my Citibank credit card closed with no reason, but still the bank keeps charging me 29.99% interest every months. In order to avoid those interest i was told by a Citibank representative by the phone, to stop making payments for few months so the accounts go to collection and then make a full payment whenever I can. So I did that, but after that I was told the account has to be at least 6 months without making payments in order to go to collection, that means about interest $50 and Late Fees $35.00, meaning approximately $510 more than what I originally owe. So I talked to different representatives and also by chat, they promised me to remove that interest rate of $29.99 for the month of March $52,57, and also the Late fee $25 So I after i made a payment plan, which I paid 127$, I made the payment for the month of April 2013 before the due date, but I was charged again late fees of $35 this time, and I was told they had the notes there but still they want to charge me. This is unbelievable, every time I call customer service I have to be on the phone for more than 1 hour, and talking to people from all over the world: Philippines, Indians, Haiti, any country except Citibank Corporate Offices. This is a serious matter, but Citibank do not take it serious. It is by far the worst company in United States, the worst customer service as well, it should be punished for all the customers that have been ripping off during the last years. Any lie from customer service cost me money, and they are still working there, I can not make a complaint with them, never.

Unbelievably bad!!!

I closed my account back in September of last year, I wanted to take my money in cash but they convinced me to take a cashiers check rather than to take the cash, both the personal banker as well as the teller said I could cash it, or any part of it at any time, with no limitations. Today I went to cash part of it and they refused to give me any money because "I was not a client of theirs". I talked to the manager and he basically said the same thing, insisting that I must open an account with them in order to cash my cashiers check!! I told him this check was issued by this branch, and no one told me this "policy" when I was closing my account. He refused to do anything and I was simply out of luck, unless I opened an account. I simply went to another bank and deposited the check. I trusted them, but I should have just taken my money in cash from the beginning. This is very poor business. It was extremely frustrating and inconvenient since I needed the money today. I will tell everyone I know about the poor practices at this bank, and especially at this branch (W. Army Trail Rd., Bloomingdale, IL.)

Filled out their online form to get a new card, got approved, but the balance transfers did not go through, and the online account it created did not work, continually giving me errors every time I logged in, so I could not even see the status of anything done. Tech support was not able to help me, customer support was not able to help me, called the corporate office, and I was not able to get the comp controllers office (or any other office) to complain about the fallacious claims that in a few simple steps I would be able to achieve them both. Awfully bad customer service. Mostly farmed out off-shore. Finally found out that until you receive the card you can do any of that, which begs the question why did they make such lofty claims of "in a few simple steps". The organization feels more like a bunch of scam artists them bankers.

They Gave Me Counterfeit!

My own Citibank branch gave me counterfeit money which I have transactions and video proof, did not apologize and right now they are saying it's my loss. The Secret Service is saying it's up to the branch to credit my account. I have been nice and professional about it and the Manager acted like she was doing me a favor for doing the paperwork for turning in the counterfeit money while I could of been dishonest and given their counterfeit money to someone else. I guess with Citibank, being honest does not pay. Considering to take my business else where along with some major negative website media attention. THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO DO BUSINESS WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS CITIBANK!

I had a Zales Credit called and was given a pay off balance. I paid the balance I was given and they continued to charge my account for interest. My credit was ruined for 5.24 and I had never been late with a payment. I will never use Citicard again.

This company leaves MUCH to be desired. If you need a bank that gives customer service.....fun...you won't find it here. They just want your money. Too bad you couldn't rate it negative stars!

home depot citi card scam

Absolutely horrible. I've signed up for auto-payment on their website, but due to "bugs" (although I suspect its intentional) my account settings didn't go through. I've ended up getting charged over a $100 worth in late fees, which I disputed. Their website has many other numerous "bugs" ranging from preventing me to making payment to not being able to press on the dispute button. I even had to made a video with my cell phone just to have proof that I have made payment. Stay away from Citi and Home Depot at all costs.

This company is ridiculous. Avoid at all costs. If I could have rated zero stars I would have, but it's not an option. They don't care about you, they really don't. What's worse is that they have no trouble throwing anyone under the bus as they see fit. I could go into my story, but it would take forever and the point is simply to stay away.

I have been a gold customer for over 15 years. I have a ten year line of credit that is to expire in April. I applied for a new line over a month and a half ago. I completed the application and all my financial info within three days. The person Justin t bliss must be overwhelmed with work. I have just purchased a second home and closed in less than 30days with Win trust mortgage. Please give him some help.
