ArAdEIf it were possible to give a zero star rating, or perhaps remove stars I'd do so without hesitation. I have been dealing,or to be more accurate, being deceived for 4 years now. Regarding a mortgage. To keep this short. BofA ran my family and myself out of our home, after jumping through every hoop. The home was hit with vandalism and burnt to the ground. The crooks received every cent of insurance money, even tho 30% of my families personal belongs remained in the home. Did I mention jumping through there hoops. Thus the reason for our personal belongings remaining. Was given false hope of being able to save it so had not yet removed all. So as I was saying BofA has all the INS money, which by the way was far more then enough to pay off the home at current market value. Even at purchase price the INS money payed it off. Yet they still are to this date adjusting my ARM. And if this was not enough. Now I'm facing civil litigation from my home municipality for cleaning/securing of burnt shell, even tho mind you 11,000 dollars is allocated for just that purpose. BofA has told me for 2 years now how things stand. Now out of the blue I'm being told exactly 180 degree different tune. BofA your code of conduct and ethics is no better then the stuff I flush. You should..... KNOWING YOU WON'T. YOU SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED TO ADMIT YOU EVEN EXIST.

I can't even begin to describe the pointless emotional torture this company has put me and my kids through. They can get away with anything they anwser to no one. I feel like it is truly a souless company that will stop at nothing to destroy you to the point you can no longer cope whatsoever. 3 yrs ago when I was laid off due to the economy they told me they were foreclosing and I have 20 days to move. I begged and cried but no I did not qualify for help. So I took myself and my 3 children and we left I even moved 2 days after my daughter got out of the hospital to comply with their 20 day notice. They never foreclosed. A year later they told me I should try to sell it because it is my responsibility so got a realtor and got good offers but BOA sat on the offers until the buyers gave up. I called them so many time and spend hours getting transferred and treated horrible, lied to. By then I was on aniexty and depression medication. The house got foreclosed on but not by BOA it was the HOA. Now 3 years and 5 months later I got a letter from Boa agent company they are foreclosing and coming after me for this insane amount of money. I already have one foreclosure on my record and now I am getting foreclosed on again. I don't think I can even mentally deal I have moved 6 times in the last 3 and a half years just tryting to make it. I am a single mom with 3 kids I feel like I just can't take anymore torture from them this feels like torture I feel like satan himself has me by the grip and is trying to make me so misreable I can't live anymore. I mean how can I be a mom under this constant stress how can I provide for a family by myself with this constant attack and no matter what I do it doesn't matter there is no right no justice no help. about to give up

i was just wondering i live in granbury texas the nearest bank or atm is 30 miles there was one atm here it was heavily used and you had it removed just wondering why you would do a stupid thing like that can you help me understand this mismanagement

In my option BOA has a license to steal. There good faith estimates are just numbers thrown on a worthless piece of paper. And when questioned about why I was having to come to the table with 20,000.00 more I am treated as if I cannot add. The person who came to my house could not answer any question, but yet that fee is in a closing cost I have to pay for. Every horror story I have heard about BOA business practices are happening to me and I feel as if we who are still paying our mortgages are being mistreated and over charged to pay those high priced CEO's

WOW!! Just submitted an option and it shows it will be posted when approved, so they even deceive us on the options and experiences that can be posted.

They never notified me of a payment increase on my mortgage and as I continued to pay it for two months, then they turned around and reported me to the credit bureau as default of payment. It took them a month and a half to send the first payment back due to the (16 DOLLAR)INCREASE, claiming they due not accept partial payment. OVER 16 BUCKS, You REPORT ME? I'm trying to dispute this but not having much luck..... THEY SUCK!! I CAN NEVER TALK TO THE SAME PERSON EITHER. Horrible experience! LOOKING for under 5% and if I can I will change banks and refinace.

My husband has had accounts with BofA for over 50 years and mine have been with them since we married 12 years ago. At first service was wonderful but I note that lately BofA policies have been such that they make every effort to make it impossible for the customer in every way. The latest is that my husband gave me power of attorney over all his finances. I took the power of attorney to the bank and they have records of it, however, to use his credit card, I have to send a power of attorney to the credit card division. They won't accept a fax because of security reasons, So now, I can't even make a credit card payment to his account-it is also locked so Ican't get into it via on line banking. This is the straw that is breaking the camel's bank. We are moving soon and you can bet our new address won't be on aBofA account!!!

This has got to be by far the worst finanicial instution on the planet. They do not no how to run a sucessful banking business. You think they would work hand and hand with each department necessary these people are a bunch of idiots. They sold my house while in remodification process. I called them and told them that I received to letter or warning of this action. It was just oops now i've had to filed bankrupty to stay and fight to keep my house. Not to mention that was over turned due to the new owners filing out of my jurisdiction. Now I went to the doctors for pre op surgery and they watched my home, when I left they changed all the locks including my mailbox. I paying more attorney fees than imaginable trying to get this sale over turned. BOA refused to over turn the sale.

On June 16, 2012 my husband and I went the the Bank of America located at 880 Bergen Avenue, Jersey City NJ 07306. I and my husband wanted to deposit our Federal IRS refund into my account. My husband is not on my account. The Assistant Manager, Ibrahim Meite refused to allow for the deposit of our refund check at the window unless I added my husband on the account. I did not want to add my husband to my account. Other BOA banks have allowed for the deposit of my refund check at the window, into my bank account. Assistant Manager, Ibrahim Meite, said that it was against the law to deposit the refund at the window and then started spewing minutia about federal government checks and a 72 year recourse and repeated his refusal to service me, its customer. Mr. Meite inferred that the refund check from the Federal Government was not trusted or in some way was suspect. At any rate, I walked out of that BOA went to another branch and without a hitch I was able to deposit our refund check, with the assistance of a window teller, without having to add my husband to my account. Why such a huge inconsistency between BOA branches ? Although Mr. Meite was polite, is his reading of the banking laws accurate ? and did he have the discretion to allow as a curtesy to the deposit of our refund check, with the assistance of the window teller, into my bank account without having to add my husband to my account? Please investigate Mr. Meite’s analysis and enforcement of whatever banking law allowed him not to service me.

I have been a Bank of America member since 1980. As of late I am currently unemployed. I was searching online for jobs a couple of weeks ago, filling out anything and everything. Well a Company called Globewings contacted me with a possible job. Come to find out (a bit too late) that they were crooks. I'm very embarrassed to have fallen for this scam. But I was so desperate for work I missed the red flags. I did research the rip off report, but they wern't listed. Now Bank Of America want to hold me responsable for 4,800 dollars. Even though they saw supicious activity they did not freeze the account. I called the bank prior to pulling the funds, to make sure it was up and up.. they said it was.. so I did what I was ask, and no sooner than I did "then Bank Of America said the money wasn't legit, or that it was "stolen" from another account." And yet they take "NO" responsability.. its all on me! Me an unemployed... struggling just to get by... to have food in the house.. guy. While this MULTI MILLION DOLLAR CORPORATION SAYS "I AM RESPONSABLE FOR THE 4,800" WELL I'M TELLING THEM AND ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN.. THEY ARE THE ONES WHO SHOULD BE RESPONSABLE. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS OK TO TAKE THE MONEY......... THEY FEEL NO OBLIGATION TO A MEMBER CUSTOMER WHO HAS BEEN WITH THEM FOR OVER 30 YEARS. FURTHERMORE NO ONE EVEN TOOK THE TIME TO CALL ME, AND GET THE NAME OF THE CROOKS SITE.. THEY ASK "NO QUESTIONS" ABOUT THESE CROOKS.. THEREFORE LEAVING THE DOOR OPEN FOR THESE GUYS TO SCREW ANOTHER PERSON OUT OF THERE BANK ACCOUNT. WHAT EXACTLY DOES A "FRAUD" DEPT DO???? SO FAR ALL THEY HAVE DONE IS CLOSE MY ACCOUNT, AND SAY YOU OWE US 4,800 DOLLARS. THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING TO CATCH THESE PEOPLE... OR EVEN SHOW THE SLIGHTEST BIT OF INTEREST, OTHER THAN TELLING THERE DEDICATED MEMBER THAT "THEY" ARE THE ONE RESPONSABLE FOR ANY LOST MONEY!! I don't know how this bank can still be in business due to all the fees and ridiculous charges they put against account holders and mortgage owners. I own a home that is sadly finance by bank of america whom had not help me at all. Everything seems to be about money. I had spoken to manager who care less if a mortgage owner lost his/her job. There be time after time i resend in paperworks only to be told to fax in again and again. Than only to be deny 3 months later due to incomplete paperwork. When finally given the opportunity to get ahold of a manager that can arrange a payment; there would be a fee to make a payment. Than the manager would said you still owe late fees and finance fee. It's amazing how when someone contact bank of america through a person hard time of finance that one can't help but to say you will go into foreclosure. It's sad how this issue with bank fraud fees and no action of help under an FHA Loan that state in the time of someone being let go from a job can be help until the income is back to where it is or at least having some sort of income to pay. Keep up the good work bank of america employee and lets see your future outcome. thanks for screwing up peoples life because you feel the need not to help.

Why isn't there a big fat 0 o their listing. I have been fighting with Bank of America ever since I signed off on the purchase of my first home back in 2006. It has been vacant now for 2 years and have tried everything: short sales, deed in lieu, giving them my keys. I live in Eastern Mass and my house is located in Western Mass. I even had a lawyer involved and still the bank would not do jack.

I HATE BANK OF AMERICA!!!! 6 hours i was trying to call the so called customer assistance number and after 6 hours of being transfered and "accidently disconnected" and giving numerous different numbers to call my husband and i just went down to the bank even though the bank said no one was there to help me i had enough and needed to see an actual person all we are wanting is the temporary hardship assistance as i lost my job last month and according to the qualifications this is exactly what this is for i downloaded every single document it asked for and meet all requirements to have our mortgage suspended for up to 3 months the associate at the bank had no clue what forbearance was or the temporary hardship assistance program that is even advertised in a pamplet on the counter in the bank itself so she calls someone puts the phone on speaker after 45 minutes we finally get ahold of someone in arkansas she left the office and never came back after 2 hours of answering questions multiple times we were told we don't qualify she doesnt know why have a nice day WHAT??????? we were giving a card to call with the number of someone i could so called talk to IT WAS THE SAME NUMBER I HAD BEEN CALLING ALL DAY!!!!!! COME ON BANK OF AMERICA I CALLED KING FIVE NEWS PROBLEM SOLVERS HOPEFULLY THEY WILL HELP THIS BANK WILL OBVIOUSLY NOT

Bank of America has policies that are designed to cheat every dollar they can out of their costumers. I had a credit card and called to change the email address for my e-bills. Unknown to me, this change did not apply to my online e-bill account. But this was not made at all clear. Why else would I give them my email account? I received no e-bills, thus over looked what I owed them. After three months they finally sent a physical letter, right before imposing yet another late fee. Not only was I forced to pay over $100 in late fees and interest on a small purchase, this ruined my credit rating, which was excellent before this incident. Since I am doing a refinance on my mortgage, it will cost me thousands more for a mistake that they should have been willing to reverse. They were extremely rude, unhelpful and unwilling to take any responsibility for their mistakes, ridiculous policies and poor communication skills. Needless to say, I will never use this company again, and I will spread the word wherever I can. I see I am not alone in my experience with Bank of America. They can not play these games with their costumers forever, as we can go to the far superior competitors.

Someone clearly should include a ZERO star in the rating system, because this is what BofA deserves. I was applying for a refinance of my home for only 50% of its equity, per their appraiser, and with a credit rating of over 800. I began receiving harassing, nasty emails from them in the name of their 'underwriter,' who asked for information not remotely related to the loan on hand. When I complained about the unnecessary paper work they were demanding, I received a very nasty phone call from a manager named SHODDY in their Redondo Beach, California office, who proceeded to give me his resume as to how wonderful loan officer he was, and basically told me to go to hell. I am now, after 35 years of patronizing this financial institution, packing all my accounts and going to 1st Bank. BofA provided me with one set of closing costs and fees, and later, with completely another. Their truth in lending practices ought to be a source of concern and investigated by the appropriate body overseeing such activities. BofA is a bank with SHODDY, if not criminal conduct. And I have no recourse!

BIG BANKS MAKE BIG MISTAKES!!recently recv email from the BOA advising me that my savings acct was overdrawn (huh) contacted bank and found out that a lien was placed on our acct!!?? i contacted the lawyer and was asked for my husbands ss#, they were unable to find anything in their sys for his SS#, they searched using his name and came up with a dm donaldson, my husband is dj donaldson!! WELL BOA had DM Donaldsons SS# on our acct!!! i have submitted all kinds of proof of my husband id & ss# to the lawyers who will NOT remove the lien until the BOA sends them in writing that they have the wrong acct, but NO ONE at the BOA will write the letter so that we can gt our $$ back!! no one @ the BOA wants to admit to the serious error and accept the responsibility to correct it. i have been a customer over 25 yrs, i have been through national westminster, nat west, fleet and now the BOA. somewhere along the line some careless data entry clerk was popping gum and texting her BOO and entered the wrong ss# on our acct!! my husband has boa credit crds that have correct ss# and we have other acts with the BOA, he has NEVER used any other ss# but his, we haver never lived at the address on record for this other ss#, this debt is for a CHASE credit card, i contacted CHASE bank and gave them dm donaldson credit card # and ss# given to me by the lawyer and they were able to confirm that the lawyer had the wrong person but because of the piracy act were not able to give me anything in writing but "escalated" my complaint and due to the fact that they "sold" this acct they would contact the collection agency and advise them of the error, i am very distressed by this situation because it is a simple fix by THE BOA of contacting the lawyer in writing and advise them that they have the wrong person, but because everyone i talk to is so worried about covering their ass, and have no honor or integrity and absolutely no customer care for "THEIR VALUED CUSTOMER" leaves me baffled!!i have exhausted all means to rectify this on my own and not to mention losing my $$ because of the BOA carelessness. if you are reading this RUN to your bank(s) and verify all info!!
