I think this is the worst bank I've ever dealt with. NO one will answer the overdraft settlement and believe me they did it to me many times. For 23 years I have been a customer and I had a wire transfer sent to my bank last week. They rejected it but wouldn't say why. At the end of the day, the customer had to go to Chase and get the cash out to pay me. BOA...can't talk to anyone....because they don't want to hear what you have to say. I refinanced my home with countrywide who BOA purchased. I was charged $20K to refinance. BOA can not provide me any information said they don't have the files. They have them because they have agreed to settle. But, I can't get information. I am leaving this bank after 23 years because you can get help from them or any government agency you contact. Believe me....it's all about them..Banks, Politicians helping banks, and the consumers can go to H***. I am sick of this! I would give them a negative rating if possible.....but the BBB won't help, and I contacted our elected officials who won't help. The only time you hear from them....ELECTION TIME. The rest of the time the tax payers are paying for their happy little life. I am starting a website for "the people" of this country and I hope everyone will provide their opinions. Bank of America is horrible. I do not understand why people complain about them but don't follow through by closing accounts and taking business elsewhere. There are so many other banks and/or credit unions to do business with. I have contacted Bank of America about a property that has been vacant for 4 months, unkept pool, weeds a couple feet high with rattle snakes and wild life in our area and they haven't done a thing. They do not have customer service.

BOA promised they would respond within 20 days regarding a short sale offer. We are far passed the 20 day mark. All of the media coverage on this new short sale process was a lie. I am very disappointed in BOA (more so when I dealt with them for another short sale).

I wasn't allowed to rate with negative stars. I tried to acquire a home loan through Bank of America. The loan processor was an imbecile from the beginning. She NEVER returned phone calls. NEVER responded to e-mails. She needed me to provide her with info and gave me a deadline. I e-mailed her 2 weeks before the deadline asking for more time. She called me a week after the deadline and stated that I was out of compliance and the loan application was null and void. I asked her if she received my e-mail about the request for an extension and she replied: "Yes, I did. I didn't think you were serious about that." If this is Bank of America's level of customer service, I'm surprised that they have any customers at all.

I am contacting you due to the fact I have exhausted all my means. For 2 weeks now I have been trying to pay off my home before the service date of May 15th. My phone calls have been documented and saved. I originally paid off this homes back in 2011. Through a representative she informed me that I could pull out of escrow and apply that amount so Ruth in home retentions sent me a fax and I then returned authorizing pulling from escrow she informed me that there will be a credit possibly of $270.00 Or so due to her calculations and investigation. I get the pay off, go to local branch as she stated I could and also take out of my 401k to pay for payoff. Well come January I call to find out why I have not received any paperwork of my home being paid. I then find out that the house had a balance of$183.00 And so BOA went ahead and paid taxes and home owners insurance. I was floored because this house should be paid off. They were going investigate this because through research BOA posted the payoff wrong and through trying to fix it left balance on account. Well now we are here I get a call from ex husband and shares that house is being foreclosed. So we both started calling on Monday the 7th. We have been to every department even departments your representatives don’t know exist within this Major Bank of America company. I have talked to supervisors, team leaders, over and over and have gotten promises on a payoff that would be faxed . Well every guaranteed has been broke and to this day no fax has been received. Throughout this whole deal I had a service date of May 15th and per Micael a representative in foreclosure promised that this home would not be sold to another servicer nor would it be foreclosed. He advised me not to get another payoff amount as well as Trina. Every representative I spoke with, order numerous payoff and was found through Trina that they were not supposed to do that. I have many things I can share with you on the findings of your representatives on their knowledge of how its ran. Today I found out that Micael could not keep the service date and also his promise of getting that fax was broken. I really need someone to help. A per Trina, getting my home paid off do not do what I did last time get a paper trail get them to fax it over to you. So ‘I’m trying and nothing can be done. My next step is to contact a major news anchor to solve and help me I will stop at no ends. I have to try all I can to save my house. I have gotten 7 payoff amounts ranging from $3900 to $3975.50. Please help me. I’m a divorced single mom trying to pay off my house for less than $4000. Why is this so difficult for you company to help and it’s been almost 2 weeks. I can call tomorrow and get nowhere as I have been calling everyday to pay my house off. I also spoke with our branch manager her Sheryl Koenig and she try for 2 hrs and got nowhere she basically told me I can’t help you and can’t help with getting your payoff before the 15th. Wow!!! Not even a branch manager can help me.. HELP HELP HELP!!!!! This is an email that I have sent to a robert stickler.. My house is fixing to be foreclosed because of the lack of training and knowledge of all Bank Of America employees.

This company is a joke. There has NEVER been a time that I was on the phone with that(mind you, I have to go through 9999999 prompts to speak to a LIVE human being) they were not rude and unprofessional. Its really sad the way they treat the customers and how they could careless about customer service. I too will be moving my business elsewhere but first watch for my story to appear on Good Morning America!

BOA is one of the worst bank , They never put their customer best interest first, they take more then they offer. Chase bank has a better chance in getting my business now. I've been with BOA since it was nation bank it is the worst bank ever. I can not think of anything good to say about BOA except its been around a while. it should be (0 Stars) Poor.

I will never do business with this bank again....I will also do my best to not support any business that works with bank of america.....I also as of today will no longer accept and checks or bank cards from them in my business. I will buy my next gun from McMillan firearms mfg. and that is not only that they are extremely fine weapons....I want to support there business due to b of a positions...we won't even go into the fraud that this bank has done to American home owners..... I am in a continual fight with these Bunch Of A$$holes as my husband called them. I have been trying to get my new Visa ATM card since March and am now well into the second month of dealing with this. As I split my time between the US and being overseas, I had requested all my BofA mail etc be forwarded to my overseas address. Well my account and Visa was compromised, the bank put a hold on everything back in March and I haven't been able to use my card since then. It is now May 10th and I am still trying to get them to send a card to the correct address. They have supposedly "sent out" the card three different times to three different addresses. God only knows what kind of idiots they employ now a days......when there are intelligent people looking for jobs, they employ people who only know how to say "Thank you for your patience" or "We apologize for the inconvenience" that is put BS.

I am furious. I just read about the settlement in which BoA will give loan modifications for people underwater on their mortgage. I have a BoA mortgage and have never been late a day in the 11 years I have had this mortgage. I also keep a lot of money at BoA. Those of us who pay our mortgages timely are getting shafted by BoA because we are getting nothing. If someone bought at the top of the housing bubble that is their problem and in no way should they be rewarded for this mistake. I intend to pay off my mortgage and then take my considerable amount of money out of BoA. They should have fought these settlements all the way to the Supreme Court rather than capitulate to a bunch of whiners. I cannot reward a bank that is more interested in accommodating losers instead of the responsible.

I have been a customer of BofA since 1969 - yes 1969. I have had many accounts through the years, highs as high as $40,000 on checking and lows as low as $1,000 on checking. As well as mortgage and credit line accounts well over $300,000. I recently paid of my credit line in order to get a much more competitive rate, BofA was the first place I tried but they were much higher than most. Once I paid of the balance I began being charged $25.00 on my Prima Checking account, was told that since I paid of the account I would have to maintain at least $20,000 plus in my checking account or pay the month fees. Again, I have been a customer since 1969, that in itsself should give me a free interest earning, Prima checking account. After talking to several customer service people who are reading from a script, I am so frustrated and disappointed with BofA that I am closing my account that I have had since 1969!!!!!! Way to go BofA, let's chase away all of those customers who have been loyal for so many year.

I was first denied for a motifacation and my home was set for a big time sheriff sale and about two months before the sale date BOA called me and said we looked over your paper work and now feel you do qualify to apply for a motifacation , so I had to re fax all paper work and a few days passed and they called me to refax some of the paper work after making a few minor changes on them and a few more days they needed some new papers faxed that were never asked for before and then a few more faxes after that and now they are not asking for any more paper work from me , two days before the sheriff sale BOA filed for an extension with the court ( talk about waiting till the last minut!) , and it was extended until June so I guess now I play the wait game. Not sure if this is normal but I do have to say no matter what the outcome ends up being I did get assigned a case manager and all communication was threw her and she has been very helpful threw the process , BOA has been very anal about all the paper work and wanting things just perfect but , I guess that is their right , I am the one that did not make my payment and I am the one asking for their help,they are not the ones asking me for help. I guess I am playing the scary waiting game now and time will tell if I will be moving or not!

After banking with Bank of America for over 47 years, it took just 47 minutes of piss-poor customer service in the bank I usually go to. It started with my BofA debit card being compromised. I called the 800 number and the person stated "no problem" and further stated that I should go to my branch and get a temp card (it was close to the first of the months and bills were due). I went to my branch and all they could tell me was that I could not get a temp card because I ordered a permanent on the telephone. I asked for the branch manager and the lady "looked around" and said that they were not in at the moment (I did know who the branch manager was and she was sitting two desks over from me). I proceeded to get up and leave, stating that "Too Bad the Branch Manager won't even talk to a customer but instead ignore your presence." The next day I went ahead and changed all my direct deposits, closed two checking, two savings, and CD accounts, moved my stock options, and reapplied for a refinance at another bank with a lower interest rate. The third day, when I went in to close my safe deposit box, the manager came up to me and apologized stated "gee, is there something I can help you with?" Too Little, Too Late. It's also funny that since BofA sold out and moved its Corporate Headquarters back east from San Francisco, that you just can't find their address. TO BAD, BofA....YOU JUST LOST OVER A QUARTER OF A MILLIUON DOLLARS IN ACCOUNTS, CD'S, RETIREMENTS, MORTGAGES, AND 16 MEMBERS OF MY FAMILY ARE NOW MOVING THEIR ACCOUNTS TO ANOTHER BANK, so, all in all, your out of over a million!
