My husband and I have been with Bank of America for over 20 years. We have had our financial ups and downs but never this bad. My husband hadn't been working since December 2010 and was scheduled to start a new job in mid-December. His previous job messed up the paperwork to start the new job. We were financial set to last until April 2011, because by the end of April would have depleted all of our savings, maxed out our credit cards. I've been to the bank twice for help and the second time I was told you have probably messed up your credit score so there is nothing we can do for you or would any other bank help you. My husband is back to work, but that didn't seem to make a difference. I am totally disappointed in how we have been treated.

I read all the complaints on b of a. AND YES YOU ARE RIGHT , ALL OF YOU. The person (dd) who mentioned he was leaving for his mental health,...great I am going to do the same. Last november, day after thanks giving I went to get 20 dollars out of my account and I received a slip stating that : Due to irregular activity on my account I had to call the 800 number listed below. I did, and the guy who answered asked what the problem was and so I explained. he adviced me that I was not allowed to draw any money till I went to the bank. This was fri night at 7.30 p.m. and I could not draaw any money. not even the lousy 20 dollars I wanted. He then asked me for my driver license, soc .sec and address etc etc. Stupid me gave it to him. Duh!!!!! and I am not blond, I swear. I the asked him what the irregular activity was and he mentioned , 9 dollars at walmart, 12 at ralphs and a couple nothing to worry about amounts. That night, sat morning at 3 am, someone named mr. sandwell accessed my account to do an inquiry.Monday morning they trasferred 2800.00 to seoul korea out of my account , tuesday 4200.00 and each transfer had a 64.80 international fee on it plus another fee for money exchange.I went to the bank and even though they admit that this mr sandwell could have, would have and a million and one other possibilities transferrred it , I had to contact the fraud department and file a claim . This was november ( friday after thanksgiving) 2010, and today july 15-2011 this problem has not been resolved. Yes b. of a did deposit the money back in my account but the last letter I received said, that if they can prove that i allowed that ??? , that they will deduct the amounts again and I will not be able to file another claim??? I have been with bank of america since 1971 ( 40 years) and this is what I get for the best help they can give me??? YES GUYS LETS BREAK THAT BANK.

IWAS IN THE MIDDLE OF A MD WHEN THEY FORCLOSED AND EVICTED ME. I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL. I HAVE BEEN OUT OF MY HOUSE FOR A MONTH AND A HALF I RECIEVED A PHONE CALL FROM THEY SAID THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF BANK OF AMERICA. THE LADY ON THE PHONE WANTED TO TELL ME WHY MY MOD WAS TURNED DOWN OK HERE IT IS SHE SAID ITS BECAUSE I DID NOT RETURN THE NEW LOAN PACKAGE THAT THEY NEVER SENT TO ME YAH SHE EVEN SID THAT THERE WAS NO TRACKING # FOR FEDEX AND SHE COULD NOT BELIEVE THEY WOULD DO SUCH A THING. SHE I DID EVERYTHING CORRECT AND THEYDID EVERY THING WRONG . SHE SAID THEY ARE GOING TO CONTACT ME AND SEE IF I QULIFY FOR A MOD SO GET MY PAPER WORK TOGETHER YHAY SHE IS TRYING TO GET ME BACK INTO MY HOUSE WHICH IS CURENTLY UP FOR SALE. WHY ARE THEY LIFTING ME UP JUST THROW ME BACK DOWN KARL GLOVER

I fell on hard times and got behind on my mortgage and except my fault but I paid boa 15,800 and was told that I would get back 3800 if the money was in by the 6th on the month and I sent it all in on the 5th and was not given the refund as told by them the reason our attorney filed foreclosure with your county on the 10th so we paid them the 3800 I feel that due to them not telling the attorney I paid them is not my fault and should be paid my money back they said what are you going to do about it you can't even pay your loan on time I want all of you to know this was a year ago and I am now filling small claims for my money back small man going after the big dog BOA sucks and takes advantage of the little person pay back is coming BOA

After reading all these post I don't feel so alone. I agree that this company BOFA is the worst in customer service I've ever dealt with. They deducted two mortgage payments from my checking account and overdrew my account I contacted them and of course got the run around fortunately I spoke with someone who actually knew what they were doing and spoke English, which is rare with this company, and was told that my refund plus all the overdraft fees would be refunded to my account in an excalated manner. You all know where I'm going with this, they refunded the mortgage payment but not the overdraft fees and the fee they charged me for making the online payment. I am filing a complaint with the BBB and I would suggest every one do the same everytime they have an issue with these crooks and overload them with complaints.

THIS IS THE MOST FUCKED UP COMPANY THAT EVER EXISTED. FUCKED UP

B of A Forclosed on my property Aug 5 2010. This is the date my property was transfered to the REO department, but I am still the owner of record with the state. The insurance is still in my name the taxes are still in my name and any fines that may come from the city are still in my name. I have talked with their attorneys, forclosure department, servcing, loss midigation, Reo department and can't get a straight answer. I'm trying to put a renter or move back in to ensure that house is taken care of and doesn't become an eyesore. And before you look at me as a horrible person for allowing the forclosure I went from making a lot of money to making very little there was nothing I could do. I lost over 20k in equity. To me it looks like the bank doesn't want to show the asset as a loss and now they are showing the open loan as a asset because they haven't closed that out and the house as a asset because it's in the REO department so they can double dip for valuation purposes. If anyone knows how to get them to file the deed showing ownership that would be great.

Ref: App#25971382 I took my daughter to a Honda Dealer to buy a new car. I knew she didn't have credit and in order for her to start getting credit built up I co-signed foe her. I guess my (825) credit score was not good enough for your company so the dealer was able to get another bank to handle the account. I just wanted to let you know that if for some reason my daughter could not pay for her car I would take care of it. So who ever decided not to make the loan lost your bank money. thank you, Larry Johns Jacksonville, FL

I received a letter today from bank of america stating my modification was denied for non compliance, When I questioned that I was told I did not send in required documentation on my social security and bank statement. I fed ex'd the original bank statements (originals) which they claim were not legible and I sent in my award letter to show why the amount of my social security deposit was different than the award letter. Taxes are taken out of my social security which makes up the difference. These documents were sent to them the next day in the fed ex envelope they sent me. First they said they did not receive then they said they were not legible. .I am so disgusted with Bank of America jerking me around. One hand does not know what the other hand is doing.

In 1991 through 1998 I worked for Bank of America elevated to the highest tier in my unit which far surpassed anyone a customer would ever need to come into contact with. Prior to the merger announcement in 1998 The direction, vibe, feeling and decisions were entirely what Mr. Giannini's( Bank of Italy/Bank of America 1906-1998) goals and objectives were. When I worked for the bank Mr. Giannini's sister still sat on the board...and the service, product, procedures and longterm goals were different and much more Customer oriented. I witnessed this first hand from behind the scenes. I left the bank professionally shortly thereafter the 1998 merger announcement which I was invited to attend, and did. All departments no matter how integral or small must all work in unison to ensure non repeats of information, problems, solutions leaving no cracks in the foundation. Or the customer will loose. An effective system for the example of Loan Modifications does not require multiple requests of information relay if the entire system and procedure is effective in the first place. This is what the Federal Government is counting on to service Loan Modification Homeowners to help them save their homes, the Government assumed the financial institutions were competent to offer and service the homeowner, after all isn't that what financial institutions are set up to do? Without a customer there is no need for a Company. The A.P. Giannini way was to have a competent Company with a strong service foundation and state of the art systems in place. This way of thinking/practice made Bofa a strong force in Banking both domestically and globally. It was both profitable for Company and Client because of effective policy, procedure, guidlines, products and service. I must also state the bank valued it's relationships with all, Customers, Government adherance, Global, Employees and vendors. It was the largest financial institution for a reason...it operated in a spirit of integrity. The bottom line is I know this problem and the many others lie in a unified issue...the human factor. If every employee from every sector is not on the same page...you get the huge mess we have all witnessed here.

My issue with the bank personally...unauthorized by myself Bank card transactions that are guaranteed protected under Bofa's fraud guidelines ( I purchased something legitimate months ago as a one time debit, then the merchant came into my acct many months later and accessed funds as a reoccuring debit) return of these monies and any fee's associated due to fraud were guaranteed. I spoke face to face with the Assistant Branch manager and I was assured all funds were to be replaced in a 24 hr business timeframe, as I sat at his desk from him while he repeated verbatim what a fraud investigator told him to say. So, I felt reassured and confident the resolution of timeframe was satisfactory. I was to find out 72 business hours later from contact I the customer initiated because the bank broke the verbal and written promises, that the timeframe relayed by 2 high ranking officials verbally and in person are of non effect because the timeframe quoted should have been 10 business days. Of course I would in no way know this as I am not clairvoyant nor telepathic. I just merely trusted in my banks assurance of a viable effective remedy. In effect it does not matter what is guaranteed in writing(posted on all Bofa ATMs at my branch or posted elsewhere visually in my branch for every customers peace of mind and assurance) or assured verbally...because the reality is...it is far past the original timeframe quoted by 2 high ranking bank employees and there is still no resolution in sight. *This is the reality of the New Bank of America* A customer does not need a fair weathered banking relationship - A customer needs a banking relationship built of fairness, integrity, honesty, loyalty and one that will stand the test of time. A customer needs a bank that will stand behind them especially when a negative in life hits that is related to their finances either through a banking issue utilized by using the Banks own Bankcard, fee's associated, service offered or needed. ~If I was not a dignified Lady utilizing tremendous restraint...I could sum it up in a few choice mini lettered words to really get the point across. But, alas I am a Lady~ Fortunately I am rational and competent. I do have the address' both electronically and manually to send information to both the Federal regulators who monitor Banks and also my Local, State and Federal elected officials who ironically are currently working in Congress to provide further protection to consumers from Banks, Fee's and enforce regulation. :)

I am a California General Contractor dealing with B of A on an insurance job. The insurance company authorized the funds, money was put in a B of A account for disbursement, the work started, the checks requested from B of A. I still haven't received a dime. I did receive a request for information--the exact information I have sent to them twice. I also received a request for out of state contracting witholding information. I am in california. The job is in California. The insurance company is in California. I have never worked out of state or done business anywhere but California. I am licensed by the California State Licensing Board. B of A sent the information request to my address--in California. Asking me where I live and where my business is located. Meanwhile, we had the wettest spring on record, and the client is living with a hole in their roof and a 7 foot drop off in their rear yard waiting on B of A. What a bunch of clowns. Beware.

I had a savings account with Bank of America in 1975 & for 36 years I have been trying to find out what happened to my $400 that was taken. I had an account with the bank that was located in Rosemead CA-Denton/Garvey. According to the news the bank was closed down cause they found 3 employees ripping off accounts & making it look like their was no accounts. They closed my account because I didn't have $4000 in the account, according to the bank manager. I was on welfare at the time, cause I was on maternaty leave from work & unemployment was not reconize at the time, & not even the State Controllers office has any record of me having account with B/A with last name, social security number, address, etc. I am tired of hearing about the "7 year" period from your bank. Please email me your response to: gmanuela61@yahoo.com. HELP me end this search, I AM TIRED OF REJECTIONS! Sincerely, Manuela Gutierrez

Bank of America is nothing but a bunch of crooks!!! Just like everyone else that has applied for there so called loan motifacation it is just a big run around for nothing! 2 years of being told that yes you get approved to, no you did not get approved, then yes you did but you need to catch up on all the back payment that where the differance in actuall payments then what you where making in loan modifaction payments, then we might consider you for a new loan!!!!! What a joke if I could make the whole payment I would have! Now looking at my payment history they took a payment and reversised it but we dont know why or where it went to. And like everyone else no two people in customer service know what the hell your talking about and we all get the same story after being on the phone for hours with them, LET ME LOOK INTO IT AND GET RIGHT BACK TO YOU!!!!!!!!!! WELL HELLO AFTER TWO YEARS WE ARE STILL WAITING TO HERE FROM YOU!!!!! I SAY YOU WANT MY HOUSE COME AND GET IT, AT LEAST WE WHERE MAKING AN EFFORT TO MAKE PAYMENTS EVERY MONTH NOW THERE WILL BE NONE, SO IT IS NOW YOURS!!

Last week, I had a problem with a ACH withdrawal. Instead of 961 dollars, it was keyed in as 96137.00 dollars. I spent 3 days on the phone till the situation was resolved. Now, today Wednesday, June 8, 2011 the amount is withdrawn again. I asked the "supervisor" at the online number to help me and remove and her comment was "there is nothing I can do" Really???

wow im sure glad i don't do buisines with bank of america. If you work for bofa you need to go to yahoo and look at the comments of people over your company trying to steal someones home that didn't even have a loan with bofa. posted on 6/6/11.. I think soon the big wheels of this company are gonna be going to prison. if they don't too bad because thats where they all belong

They will not work with my mom on her saving her house and lowering her house payment to something she can afford.. The house isnt in that great of a shape and it needs alot of work so why not work something out with someone that actually doesnt mind and wants to live there????

After 3 years of trying to modify our mortgage we are finally considering walking away. Our home was purchased in 2000. After a refi with countrywide, Bank of America received out loan. Since then it's been nothing but headaches. I even spoke with someone(CEO) office and she gave us a negotiator. After months of not contacting this so called negotiator she was suppose to arrange contact fot another one.Haven't heard squat. They just want to foreclose and give your property away. Can't help American citizens stay in their own homes.Seems everytime we tried to modify some one lost paperwork. Of course they say it was me who didnt send it. I can't believe a Government backed bank can't help us? Or is it...Won't help us? It's just sad that they send a family of 5 to the streets and take their 12 year investment and give it away!!The people is this company don'y have clue. One person says one thing and the other another? Its so frustrating@!!@!@!

The girls from the Torringon CT East Main street branch are parking next door to my home as a favor of my neighbor at Century 21. I have asked them to slow down because I am sitting inches from there car, in my own back yard. The fence is an illusion of safey and If they were to move for a small animal( and there all over), I would be hit with there car and be killed. One of their employee's had already gone though my fence and was going to drive off when I stopped her and called the police. I have asked the manager at Bank of American on east main street to ask her staff to drive 15 miles an hour going into this very small parking area so close to my fence, where the pool is inches from fence and the cars. They ignored me and called the police and said I threaden to damage their cars which was an out right lie, there are camera's in the back to prove that there cars are safe...It is me and my grandchild that are NOT SAFE!! I would like the CEO of bank of America to ask they park the cars in there own lot and not in Century 21 parking lot due to poor construction of there own parking space. I also don't appreciate sitting in my own yard only to hear the girls talk horriblable about the fellow employee's and the customers that go into your bank and use your services. They don't just get in there cars and go home, they sit in the cars and can see over my fence into my house also talk for hours swearing and jolking about some of the customers with information that is suppose to be private and now I'm hearing all....isn't that a privacy problem? HIPPA? violation I believe it's called. I even knew one of the customers they spoke of.... I don't need to be subject to this in my own back yard nor do I need there cigerette butts all over my side yard. I don't smoke nor do any of my family. Please feel free to call me or email me!!! Make sure the CEO gets this EMail. I don't think they want this behavior reflecting there business in the very small town where we all know each other. PS. I don't go where they live and disturb the quality of their life.!!! Thank you. sharonducci@sbcglobal.net

Bank of America has provided me the worst service experience I have ever had from any company ever. I had unfortunate financial hardship which did make it necessary for me to apply for a loan modification. This process ended up taking over a year to be completed due to several mistakes and start overs on Bank of America's side of the matter. I continually called to check on the progress of my modification and was unable to make actual contact with the person actually working on my modification. Several times I was told that they were sending messages to this person to contact me back. This never happened, and then I was told that they would have a supervisor look into this lack of communication and they would contact me back. This never happened. Finally after a year of sheer torture, I did finally have a conversation with a nice female who said she was working on the final processing of my modification. She said mine had been completed previously but a mistake had been found so they had to redo it. I had paid in a requested amount on a couple of different occasions as part of the processing of the modificaton. I was told that these amounts would be applied and then my account would be up to date and my new payment amount was provided to me.
