This is our first experience with Bank Of America. My husband and I have purchased 6 homes in our lifetime. Our credit ratings are over 800. We have NEVER EVER dealt with a bank with such incompetent staff and customer service. They have had us submit more and more and more data; it has been an unending paper trail; just when we think they have finally gotten everything they need they come up with a new request. Absolute paranoia on their part. So they were burnt, bailed out, and now we, reputable customers who pay our bills, have assets, we are treated like some kind of scum. And really, most of the people we are dealing with on our app are not the sharpest knives in the drawer, no matter what they think. If you work in the banking industry and you have the power and decision making authority on loans, then PLEASE can you learn how to spell the work "due" instead of using the word "do". LOL. In our case we are talking of a loan of under $50K. Our whole experience with BOA has been a complete mess. In hindsight we completely regret ever having given them the opportunity to initiate our mortgage loan. At this point, if we get through the closing and get this behind us, we will attempt to bump our complaints up the ladder.

I agree with the comments about the poor serice at BOA. For years I went with my instincts and avoided BOA. Then I went insane and opened an account with them. I found myself in overdraft hell. After a year of extremely inadequate service I moved my account. Earlier this year I received a notice in the mail stating there was a class action case against BOA. This month a judge made the final decision against BOA. All I want is to know when I will receive a check giving back some of the overdraft fees BOA charged me. After I receive my check the earth can open up and engulf BOA. I doubt many sane humans will miss them. If anyone knows the answer please contact me at ceb108@gmail.com. Thankyou.

I called customer service and talked with a manager after the phone operator called me and was rude. The manager heard my story and said since she there employee was wrong we bank of america will be sending you something for your problems. The lady said it would be much but its a little something!Right more B.S. its been a month and a half and I never recieved anything from them for my problems it was more like a empty promise to shut you up and hopefully you forget.

Fisrt of all, I doubt that these blogs get read except by people like you and I. I had a simple request for them to put a hold on a transaction and they refuse. The person that I originally talked with only noted that "customer inquired about acct". WRONG!WRONG!WRONG! I asked to hold this transaction, they did it before and now $6500 later They wont do it again???? why not? After talking with a VP I got no where, so I am eating the loss and claiming it on my taxes. :( Of course there is much more to this than what I written. One thing that I have done is, I use a different CC and I havent used BoA CC for 6 months and I dont plan on using it anytime soon. I am transfering my balance to a "BETTER" bank where they have treated me just fine and any interest from the acct, they will get. Last thing that I do is tell everybody and their brother about my experience with BoA

Complaints might be taken more seriously if you take the time to spell and use proper punctuation. Honestly some of you sound like 4 year olds and your messages should be displayed in crayon. Nonetheless, Bank of America is an awful organization that provides what I would consider to be not just the lowest level of customer service on Earth, but do it on purpose in order to keep a majority of people finding the assistance they deserve.

Im a BofA customer they have cancelled my house insurance on their own. They said I never lived her and that I abandoned the property. The problem is you can never talk back to the person you orginally start with. Everyone from the Presidents Office calls you but they never have any answers. Its all a joke! I have an atty but he said wait until they file and then go to the hearing and tell them in your answer how they play so many games with your time and that they have no clue what's going on. As a matter of fact for all of you going to court tell the judge or magristrate to try calling from his bench. I guarantee he will never get through or find anyone to help you....In the mean time I will keep praying for all of us.

We then in the beginning of 2010 we started the process all over to try for a modification of our mortgage with Home Loan Services. We again submitted everything they asked for and following up weekly with Home Loan Services with no luck then in September 2010 our mortgage was sold or transferred again to Bank of America well we were in the middle of modification with Home Loan Services. We then in October 2010 contacted a foreclosure counselor and scheduled an appointment with her on December 6, 2010 submitted all requested information she finally got somewhere with Bank of America (so we thought) and scheduled an appointment with BoA, bank attorney, our counselor and us. In the meeting it was agreed that we would go into a 3 month forbearance agreement/trial period. We completed the forbearance as they asked of us and then submitted more repeat requested information and then we have called every week or every other week to see how things are coming. I have a complete list of dates and times I called and what I was told of which every time I called I got different information as to what I should or shouldn't be doing. From April 2011 I have been told that Omari Miles is the person that has our case but they could not give me his phone number or transfer me to his phone. They claim they sent him e-mails each time I call but I hear nothing. Then after getting down right nasty with them we finally get papers for our final modification and we again complete and sign everything that is asked of us and sent in by the deadline. We thought it was all said and done starting Oct. 1 2011. But then I called to confirm that we were all set and the person from BoA said no it looks like there is an error on the papers that BoA completed because they forgot to include the balloon in the final modification papers and that we should just wait for papers to come in the mail. Well shocking

I had a loan with BofA. I called about the terms of the loan. The person I spoke with said the loan was "odd." Because my payments were for "interest only" as if it were a credit card....I asked for the original documents..the original agreement, terms, interest rate..and they sent me a statement of the current terms, and a record of payments for last year. I called again. The representative stated that the loan was definitely "strange," refused to tell me what was "strange" about it. The person said the documents that were sent were all the documents BofA had. Great..the loan is messed up..I cam paying way more than I should and I don't know how or when this was loan was changed.. BofA is the worst bank in the world..absolutely. I had a "child saving account" years ago that BofA "lost" the record for. I couldn't get my pennies back..I wonder why I trusted them again.. I recommend everyone take my "two times burned" advice and don't deal with this bank.

I have been with bank of America for a while now and once again they have made me feel like I am stupid and have had no education. I called a few days ago and spoke to a representative regarding my account due to some confusion I was having and why I was being charged so many overdraft fees. The representative that I spoke to was Bonnie and at the beginning of our conversation she seemed for nice. In the middle of our conversation Bonnie started to change her mood and I guess thought that it would be great customer service to to start bashing my intellect and to tell me that it was obviouse that I didn't understand how to balance my check book. Bonnie kept repeating her self asking me to get my checkbook to look at my registry. I tried explaining to Bonnie that I very rarely right checks and I don't think that would help. I do on line banking as well as getting text messages when my account gets to a low balance. In the end I completely understand that it is my responsibility and my fault that my account is in the negative but at the same time when a customer calls for help he or she doesn't want to feel like they were just bashed for asking fora little help. I believe that no matter what your bank that you trust with holding your hard working money should always try to make you feel like they are there for you and always willing to help in any way. Instead I was talked down to and made she made me feel like she was smarter and a better person then I was. No customer should ever feel like that! I would really appreciate if a CEO of bank of America could contact me back at there convenience at 951-219-6412. Thank you so very much for taking the time to listen to me.

They are taking my house too.I think maybe everyone should claim bankruptcy and not send them anything as they are claiming. They must have sent me a hundred modification packs,I am gettting divorce and my husband doesn't care, he would not help and his name is on mortgage. I don't think that would even help. My divorce lawyer who is an ass, told me to file chapter 13 bankruptcy. Another lawyer said I can't file without a job. If I had a job I could pay my mortgage. If I didn't have the lawyers I would probable have my payments. I am 61 years old and dealing with Boa. I don't even have money to move and live somewhere else. go figure, maybe we should all sue BOA for harassment!

Bank of America Corporate Contacts Contacts in the corporate offices of Bank of America The following are contact numbers and emails for the corporate office of employees whose job is to specifically address all complaints on behalf of the company. If complaints are not answered or provided adequate attention, I would suggest going online and filing a complaint with the OCC, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the agency that regulates national banks www.occ.treas.gov/. The corporate office MUST respond to both the consumer and the OCC. So if you are unable to get your issue resolved or feel there is questionable behavior or handling of accounts, I would go directly to the OCC or call/email a BOA manager. Better yet cc everyone on the list; calling is always a good option as well, as sometimes the issues can be resolved immediately. I just got done talking to ceo/presidents office to have a 7 month problem fixed it wasent 1 hour later and bank of america call center is calling asking about it not once but 6 times in 2 hours do you guys ever read your computer notes on the account before you call.I cant believe the scams this company pulls. We cant wave a late fee till its paid.Really that sounds a little fishy to me.Can i get a comformation number on waving the late fee,umm.. you have my word on it.No i would like a conformation number.Ten minuites of arguing with a call center worker after I asked to talk to a supervisor or manager this girl named lashanda told me they were short staffed and the manager was busy, bull crap if i ask to speak with a manager you get him for me dont give me were short staffed its not my problem.I cant wait to refiniance thru a normal bank that cares about there customers.

Currently striving for a deed in lieu with BOA since August 2011. They said home has to be listed on the market for sale (fair market value, not appraised value) for 75 to 90 days, then someone(?) will approve of a deed in lieu. Basically, you will never get any voluntary courteous response from them as far as the status or progress of the situation. The only response I received is from their lawyers concerning foreclosure and auction of the home. Attorneys have no concept that you've filed for a deed in lieu. BOA can't/won't contact the lawyers, therefore you are the mediator between BOA and these attorneys who are acting on their behalf. In my situation, it is now a race against time. Attorneys have set a date (Nov.1) for foreclosure/auction of the home. However, I was told to contact BOA within 7 to 10 days to see if DIL was approved, then they say they may need another set of updated paperwork (nearly 35 pages)and another home inspection and appraisal! With the process being so slow, it's a miracle if we can meet the November 1 deadline. It's almost like BOA would prefer doing a foreclosure, despite all I've read on the internet about banks preferring a DIL to save on court costs, attorney fees, etc. I've learned to constantly be in contact with them, asking many questions, documentating conversations, having great patience, hoping to save my credit somewhat. Hope this will help someone who is considering a DIL. Even though I can't afford an attorney to represent me, I can truly see the benefit of having one.

So I get a call tonight stating I did not pay my Oct 2011 payment. Yet on oct 1, 2011 I walked a check into a branch handed it to the teller. Got a receipt and the check was posted from my account on 10/4/2011. No one can resolve this for me, I am not able to fax in proof. This is the second time this has happened. They messed up my account last year when B of A bought my mortg. from a company that was bought out by them. Last time I had to go through corp. channels to get this resolved. It took 4 months since my account was being handled overseas. This is crazy. monkeys at a zoo handle things better. Funny ever time I go in they ask if i want a free checking since they have my morg---NO WAY----I would really be in trouble---they would lose all my money!!!!!!! Get rid of B of A---don't use them for anything!!!!!! oh--don't forget they want to charge for you to use your debit card now.

I am writing to the corporate idiots of BOA. First of all, you got bailed out by the government because of your stupidity, poor judgement, and fraudulent loans. Then you start jacking with the banking fee's. I guess the government bailout wasn't enough. You need more money for those HIGH priced washrooms where you piss , just like the money you've pissed away from your customers. Now you want to charge $5 a month for debit card fees , and you have the nerve to say quote " we will like it". You people are FRIKKIN MORONS . Now here is the kicker. You sponsored the NASCAR race last night in Charlotte NC. How much was that little deal? You mean to tell me you can afford to sponsor a car race and then have the nerve to change all your banking fees. Pardon my language to all who might read this . BOA, your FUCKING IN SANE. I hope the CEO can sleep at night with all that he has done. Look at yourself in the mirror pal, what and what do you really see? YUORS TRULY JLH Glendale AZ

HELLO TO CORPORATE EXECUTIVES READING ... PLEASE, we just want a reasonable PITI to start making our monthly payments (currently at 7.25% INTEREST ON A VA LOAN) ... PLEASE contact your LOAN MITIGATION DEPT on Loan 9353829 ... and ASK THEM TO STOP FORECLOSURE AND GET US ON A REASONABLE PITI ... that is all we have asked since NOV 2008 when company (hubby been at for 20+ years cut 5,000 employee pay across the board) ... economic circumstances (beyond our control since Jan 2009) hurt us ... and the $1249 a month payments we wanted reduced to say $1000 or so ... and now we have gone through since Countrywide / Bank of America takeover ... LIVING HELL ... we did EVERYTHING your representatives asked us until Dec. 2010 ... over and over and over and over we sent paperwork / pay stubs / ... etc ... we went through our 1 year emergency funds, used all savings, used 50% allotted 401K funds to keep up WHILE YOUR REPS WERE "wORKING SOMETHING OUT" (AT BAC HOME LOANS ... shysters all) ... AND NOW WHILE YOUR LOAN MITIGATION DEPT has sent an appraiser out and said they needed another 20-30 days to wrap it up ... WE GET FORECLOSURE SALE PAPERS TAPED TO OUR FRONT DOOR ... SAY WHAT ???? SO ONCE AGAIN one dept is going one direction negating all the wonderful help from another dept ... HERE IS WHAT NIGHTMARE WE HAVE GONE THROUGH WITH YOUR INCOMPETENT STAFF IN YOUR NON- NORTH CAROLINA LOCATIONS ... for now ALMOST 3 YEARS ... Due to cross the board pay cuts & medical insurance costs going to $600 a month from zero, we tried with Countrywide and then with Bank of America to get our VA Loan modified since NOVEMBER 2008. Home is valued at $250,000 (down from $400,000) and similar home sold $275,000 with our mortgage at $104,000 (now up to $118,000 with late penalties) and VA GUARANTEED ... were told in Jan/Feb of 2011 (NOW OVER 2 YEARS LATER by a great rep named Frank that BofA just needed another 20-30 days to wrap it up (we have now spent ALL OF OUR SAVINGS, SOLD ASSETS, ETC ... and owe NO ONE BUT Countrywide/BofA ... to be told on the SEVENTH TIME WE HAVE PROCESSED AND REPROCESSED LOAN PAPEWORK that the modification was cancelled 6 months ago ... and everything ONCE AGAIN WAS LOST or MISSING ... AND GUESS WHAT? A private party in BRANDON FLORIDA GOT OUR PACKET OF PRIVATE INFORMATION ... That's right ... SOMEONE WITHIN BANK OF AMERICA HAD MAILED ALL OUR INFORMATION AND TWO PAYMENTS (US POSTAL MONEY ORDERS TO ANOTHER PERSON / CUSTOMER ???) ... the loss of these payments caused us to be late in Jan 2011 and Feb 2011 ... and we tried to get this cleared up that there was a postal problem ... Bank of AMerica REFUSED TO TO ACCEPT PAYMENTS ... WE HIRED A PROFESSIONAL TO GET OUR LOAN MODIFIED with LOAN MITAGATION DEPT and get Bank of America to accept payments once again ... and while THE LOAN MITIGATION in Bank of America is working with this Professional to streamline / modify our VA Loan they are doing another appraisal (just this week) so everything was looking GREAT !!! ... we get a notice on our door today, SUNDAY that our house has been in foreclosure proceedings (through another dept??? ) and will be put up FOR SALE 11/08/2011 ... BANK OF AMERICA WILL GET OUR $225,000 ++ VALUED HOME, AND THE VA DEPT (or Fannie Mae or whomeever GOVT ENTITY) WILL PAY BANK OF AMERICA THE $105,000 to $118,000 LOAN GUARANTEE ... we will walk away with B OF A STEALING OUR HOME AND STEALING FROM THE GOVERNMENT (AND TAXPAYERS) ... UNLESS THEIR LOAN MITIGATION DEPT CAN FIGURE OUT WHO IS DOING ALL THIS ... AND NOW WE HAVE TO WASTE MONIES TO HIRE AN ATTORNEY TO TRY TO STOP THE SALE AND DELAY WHATEVER UNTIL PAPERWORK PROBLEMS are figured out OR WE ARE HOMELESS ... Horrible way to treat a VIETNAM VET who IS EMPLOYED YET WE TOOK PAY CUTS / COSTS INCREASED to make a reasonable mortgage payment of 35% of take home pay, to turn into 65% of our take home pay ... interest rate by the way is 7.25% ... WE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS ... AND WE HAVE NO CREDIT CARD DEBTS ... NO CAR PAYMENTS ... we buy everything with cash ... great credit until Countrywide / Bank of America WAITED SO LONG TO HELP THAT THINGS BECAME A NIGHTMARE ... SELL THE HOUSE??? THERE ARE DOZENS FOR SALE IN THE NEIGHBOR HOOOD ... only ones making money are B OF A & THE REALTORS ... SOME ONE AT BANK OF AMERICA NEEDS TO GET A STREAMLINE POWER TO just QUICKLY DO THE MATH AND reprint THE STATEMENTS ... how hard can that be ???? make sense AND THEN make cents /DOLLARS ... really Bank of America ... DO YOU WANT A 12 year old home that needs painting on the outside, the inside, new carpeting ... we don't even hae the new granite type counters ... we love our home and told your reps we could afford $900-1000 PITI versus $1100 to the $1249 (with late charge penalties) ... AND THEY COULD NOT EVEN EASILY DO THIS AFTER SEVEN TIMES SUBMITTING PILES AND PILES OF PAPERWORK ... Husband has worked for THE SAME COMPANY FOR 25+ years ... IT IS THE ECONOMY ... the cut in pay (perhaps temporary) ... WE ARE NOT UNEMPLOYED and WE ARE NOT UPSIDE DOWN ... SO WHY WOULD YOU GO THROUGH ALL THIS ???????? Like the other woman ... I am embarrassed and hopeless because of the lack of cooperation / and help (your letters say you want to but your staff and BAC LOAN creditors are HORRIBLE) and your actions are you don't ... I only hope that someone in your Loan Mitigation Dept is truly kind, gracious and professional with the power to adjust our loan # 9353829 ... so we can get back on track making monthly payments on time ... HELP HELP HELP HELP ... ONE OF YOU UPPER CRUST BIG SHOTS can you call your loan mitigation dept and ask about what all we have gone through and get someone to start accepting payments and stop the sale of our home (it isn't just a house, it is a home, we have been here for almost 12 years ... ) ... THANK YOU THANK YOU ... and I will be happy to change my 1 star to 5 stars ... I do not want to go through an attorney and all this ... WE JUST WANT TO MAKE A REASONABLE PITI PAYMENT TO YOU AND KEEP OUR HOME ... THANK YOU ...

I am extremely impressed with the service and professional capabilities of Mr. Juronn Olivier at your branch located in Mattapan, Massachusetts. He assisted my 90 year old mother(Mrs. Muriel Patton) in getting an ATM card and correcting the problems related to that matter. He identified the problem and took action to correct the problem. He was courteous, polite and very patient. He was quite knowledgeable. When my mother experienced difficulty using the card in the telephone store next to your branch office, Mr. Olivier interrupted his lunch to visit the telephone office to correct the problem that the telephone office/my mother had paying her bill. I hope you will inform Mr. Olivier that we are very pleased with him and the services he provided us. You have outstanding professional and a valued employee. Andrew Stith (508)697-3065 155 Auburn Street Bridgewater, Massachusetts 02324

Their employees do not care and do not know their own policy and procedures. The information they give out jepordizes customers. All mortgage foreclosures should be brought to a halt. Some of the employees have a bad attitude since Bank of America has announced that they are laying off hundreds of employees. This is not the right attitude to have, they come accross with a "I don't care" attitude that makes bad situations worse. We can all work together to make things better and improve someone else's situation. They really need to be investigated!
