I have been trying to sale my house since Dec. 2010 and have had nothing but run around from the 'Short Sale Department'.There have been buyers with cash in hand to buy the house and for some reason the bank won't turn it lose.If,I was a investor or stock holder you can bet,I wouldn't be having this problem.I am now hearing that they are getting some kind of payment for the house setting empty.You can't get anybody in the Corporate Office on the phone.I will give them one more chance and then it will be time to get intouch with the TV Stations and call them out,I guess.

Bank of America is the absolute worst bank to deal with in any financial capacity. They have the most incompetant people to work with. They lie to you constantly and jerk you around as long as they like. Loan Modification?? HA! How does a bank "willing" to modify a loan take 2 1/2 Years to decide NOT to modify your loan then decide to take a "second look" and deny it in 4 days????????? It took you 2 1/2 years to say no the first time and then REMARKABLY on 4 days to take a second look and turn it down????? Our home is in the middle of a short sale. And I cannot wait a moment longer until I never have to talk to you jerks again! The gross negligence of this company is nauseating. I truly hope that your bank fails and miserably. You reap what you sow. You have destroyed so many lives and cause anguish to many others. God help you...if he's willing. And by the way BOA, I rent a house now and still pay the SAME amount you would have been receiving if you had only modified the loan. Morons!

This bank has the worst customer service, it starts at the top. we made a payment on-line on 2/15 as of yet they have not taken it out of my acct. we began to receive calls from the dumbest people on the planet! twice they researched the paymant and found it, even had a conformation number... now they call again and tell us we need to make a payment. Yesterday we got the same call and they once again found it but it had not posted yet, stay with me, this now makes no.3 when a person called this morning and had a hard time communicating with us as we do not speak ghetto. She could not find anything even after we were told it was taken care of, the conformation number was gone. At this point she connected us to another person (a supervisor) who was even dumber than the first, I ask who she reported to, she informed that she answered to the the president of BoA, (hummmm) Now a while back we encountered the same thing so we made another payment, you guessed it both paymants hit the account at the same time, keep in mind that the first payment, like now, did not exist. It took 5 mo. to get the funds returned to our acct. BoA has got to be the most screwed up bank of all time. as soon as possible we will sell our home and get out of this nightmare, close all accounts and move on.

At 1800 gatlin blvd. port st. lucie, fl. there was a black girl security person outside the front door talking on her cell phone. I had a hard time opening the door and getting my walker through. She never offered to help me. Inside the bank, I asked a young man in his office to please help me get into my safe deposit box by reminding me what the first 3 numbers before my box # were. He did not know. What? He asked another employee and told me the answer. When I opened the door to the safe deposit box room, it was very hard for me to hold the door open and get my walker into the room. Even tho I struggled, no one working in the bank came to my assistance they just looked at me. When I left the bank, the security girl was still on her phone and did not offer to help me out of the door. No wonder I'm changing to another bank.

Bank of America Branch in Modesto Down Town on 16th street is not a Bank. Today I spent 15 minutes to deposit my money/checks. Three young teller working and the Person who is suppose to be at the back of teller for there help is Flirting with another girl on the other side, One teller called for third time for teller assisstance but he ignored it. There were people line of atleast ten people and line was growing around 4pM and rest of the staff sitting on their desk and No oNe comming to help these tellers.This bank of America branch has atleast 12 people in the branch and all are just chitchatting????????

This place took my january payment which went thru my bank account but claims it was lost.I spent 2 days trying to figure out where they posted it.There payment investigation department told me it was all taken care of after 4 hours and 2 phone calls.I got a letter and phone call the next month from bac stating my january payment wasnt made.I gave them the operators name ,badge number and even my conformation number of the transaction and they still told I didnt make my payment. This Bank is so backwards how can they treat there customers that way and still be in bussiness.

Bank of America (BOA) foreclosed on my elderly mother's home. My siblings had two short sale offers that BOA said at first OK and then later recanted and said my siblings simply "misunderstood" what was going on. But the way the trustee served papers killed my elderly mother. She was 85+ years old. She was in a convalescent home recovering from a severe fall and while there she was served papers by a trustee. She died... heart attack on the spot when she was served papers by a trustee representing BOA. The trustee had no right going to the convalescent home but under a sworn deposition given our lawyer he did so on direct instructions from BOA's legal counsel. The trustee called the contact at BOA and BOA called back - giving the trustee a green light to forcibly enter the convalescent home and serve my mother. We have 12 witnesses - including two nurses and as doctor. Stay away from Bank of America!

I agree that everyone should stay away from Bank of America. The company does not deserve to be operating in the USA. This is the worst bank I have ever banked with I have removed my $2-million trust to another bank outside the USA where I get a guaranteed 16% interest on my account and principal is guaranteed under federal insurance. My complaint - incorrect deposit statements - has fallen on deaf ears at Bank of America. I made multiple transfers into the account and no withdrawals... yet Bank of America charged me $29.95 for each EFT transfer into a regular deposit account. Their worker cited a receipt of funds fee documented in fine print on a contract that exceeded 2-million words. Even the state attorney general had a difficult time locating that fee and there was zero explanation about it. It was labeled "Funds Fee" which is misleading; but 24 transfers of $2,500 each into the account at $29.95 each adds up to over $700 for the year; and the fee is not deducted until December 31st each year. I also received an incorrect 1098 mortgage interest statement where I made ten payments and received a credit on my 1098 for only two. Statements show ten payments received by Bank of America on-time but the 1098 shows only two payments were made. I was told I would get an adjusted 1098 by February 10th but it has not yet arrived. I have had trouble with Bank of America and its Office of the President and CEO telling me misleading information and then telling me I misunderstood despite having tape recorded copies of the exchanges that fully documented the misrepresentation of material facts. I have referred my complaints to state attorney general's office and they are investigating.

Enid, May I ask How much in total BofA Paid You To Do The Deed In lieu? Also did you go through them directly to get it done or did you hire someone? I am interested in doing a deed in lieu as well but have heard Wildly Different numbers of what they will pay. Their website says UP TO $3,000 & UP TO $6,000 in second mortgage settlement costs ( Money that doesn't go to you) Thanks In advance For Your help

I am a non profit housing counselor or what they call now, a "trusted advisor" but that actually sounds like I make money trying to prevent defaults/foreclosures. My heart goes out to everyone under the boulder of B.S. these banks have dished out. I know the sadness, anger and sometimes strokes and heart attacks that are caused by the carelessness, coldness and idiocies of these banks.

I have received my 1099c for Deed in lieu foreclosure. The debt was for 141,900. However on the 1099c form the cancelled debt box # 2 is for 58,992. and the fair market value box #7 is for 0.00. This does not make sense, I have contacted Bank of America, and customer service just send an email to the Tax Department for review and nobody has called me yet. Bank of America customer service is the worst.

I want EVERY ONE TO KNOW TO STAY AWAY FROM BANK OF AMERICA. I paid 2 payment's on 2-10-2012. I gave my checking account number to pay the payment's. I spoke with the same man Juan I.D. #3645 gave him all the information to make these 2 payment's. BOTH payment's were suppose to come out of the SAME account! Instead of him doing his job, he took one payment out of one account (that had the money in it for BOTH payment's and SOME HOW HE TOOK THE OTHER PAYMENT OUT OF ANOTHER CHECKING ACCOUNT FOR THE LARGER PAYMENT) HE MADE OUR ACCOUNT OVER $2,000.00 OVERDRAWN!!!! WE HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS SINCE OUR LOAN WAS SOLD TO BANK OF AMERICA. I WOULD NOT BORROW .05 CENTS FROM THIS PLACE. WE DID NOT GET OUR LOAN THROUGH THEM, IT WAS BOUGHT BY THEM AND WE WERE NOT EVEN TOLD IT WAS BEING SOLD! WE HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET A REDUCTION IN PAYMENT'S TO MOD. OUR MORTGAGE FOR 6 MONTH'S, ALL WE HAVE RECEIVED FROM THEM IS A PAPER SAYING THEY WOULD SEND THE INFORMATION WE NEEDED TO FILL OUT WITH IN 20 DAY'S. NEVER HAVE WE GOTTEN ANYTHING ELSE. WAS TOLD THE SAME THING FRIDAY. THIS IS THE LAST STRAW, WE ARE HIRING A ATTORNEY AND SUING BANK OF AMERICA FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE. WE ARE NOW OVER DRAWN FOR OVER $2,000.00 WITH NO WAY OF REPLACING IT. THIS IS THE LAST TIME THEY WILL BE HEARING FROM ME, THEY WILL THOUGH BE HEARING FROM OUR ATTORNEY. I am going through the same thing that many of you write here. The foreclosure mess is very desturbing. I think we should all write to Warren Buffett after all he loaned a great deal of money to BOA. To me it should be a crime to remove good honest people from their homes. I'm not talking about people that bought homes they knew they could not afford or wanted to flip. I am talking about people that hit a brick wall with the economy or hardships happened that they could not help. It seems to me that we should all somehow get together and take some action. Brother Obama is up for election let him show us The American People Black, white purple it does not matter we all live here we all hurt and we all need a viable solution not another politician trying to make us believe do something Now!!! before the election). Perhaps there is a good lawyer out there that will take this on as a class action lawsuit to get all the banks to help their customers save their homes after all we sure loaned all of the bloodsuckers money when they needed it when is someone going to help the American people out. With out a healthy housing market there is no recovery. Tried just about everythig to save my home but I promise you this I will fight to the bitter end. Are you with me America lets start with letters and the News Media. boa country sid lending what ever they are all have no souls in 2000 mt two children and myself finally were heard and my ex husband was removed from the home for child abuse spousal abouse and 3 counts of sexual asult. 197 calls to our local policefollowed for threats stalking and endoungerment. i didnt leave my home for 7 months until he filed chapter 7 and i filed for a divorse at out depositions for the divorse he had my car reposses transfered all the other vehicals into his fathers name committed interstate fraud with anything the bank had a equity in my fathers co signature. and even took my tax return and cashed it. i had nothing he violated every cour order was even extradited for interstate fraud. i went to the housing authority and showed proof of all this and they filed emidiatly for a hardship loan but 5 days after the creditors meeting my home was sold back to county side lending with over 30 profit brotheres redevelopment took it over and then made another 40 grand in less than 5 months. my state homstead act faild me i never recieved a dime infact the failed to nitify me ans my ex reufused to give me the deed as ordered by distric court for over 8 months my father came down and offered to psy all rears in full request denied and well i am shure u have herd this story a million times we were forced to leave our home with just our suit cases. no were to go and in fear of our lives we were homless for over 2 years moving from one place to another for our saftey.. it ripped every ounce od dignity i had it tore my soul out and my faith in the united states laws protecting women and children of abbuse. it allowed him to continue to victomize us through the laws that were suppose to be protecting us. both my children had learning congnetive disabilities and received mutiple beatings to thier heads and as adults now have suffered from depression bipolaor and adhd ptsd as well as myself. relationships are far and few inbetween and i we have all self medicated at one point or the other to just cope. well its been 12 years almost and i still havew no ability to feel for a man with trust. my question athe auditors adudited the assesors . and never notified me of unfair protection under my rights i can tell u exactly were they fumbled the paper work i have copyied all the transactions and documented everything . but i didnt know how to fight him or the corrupt induviduals that here helping him victomize us and ripp of everthing i worked so hard for . he ev en took all my work equipment so i could not work. then one day they put a not on my door and said u got 3 days . even evicted my children and myself so i guess this is a way of saying dont trust out boa county side lendind north suburban urban development they are all the same company just keep changing thier name.. and is there any way now that i have finally regained my comfidence and ability to fight for what is ours.. that we can do to hold the cours and lending company accountable for taking advantage of us while under distress?

Help me, I am 52, disabled woman on social security disability. I took out a mortgage in 2007 on my home for 36,000 over 30 yrs with BOA.. At the time I was in a 3 yr relationship with Virgil we were going to pay off back taxes of $7000 and update Virgil was laid off, so he had the time and his boss assured him the work would be coming in......I agreed. The work never came and the money was gone and so was he, Shortly after him leaving I received a call from Bank of america stating that they noticed the taxes were due...I assured them that they were paid, only to find out that Virgil was gone and with him that $7000!!!At that time my payment was $233.BOA paid the taxes and added the balance on top of current mortgage .My payment then became $729. My social security check is only $1000 I couldn't handle that payment and pleaded for them to refinance the total amount for me and they refused saying that taxes was not part of a house, OMG Pleaset, my original loan was only 36,000 At the time my homes tax value was 179,000.00. I had the equity I could have made it work with a new loan.. At that time my total owed was only 35,900. I the Make homes fordable program... they said I didn't qualify although they would do a modification of their own..EHLP Program came out they said I was accepted, I sent all the information to them only to find out that Virgil leaving me didn't count towards 15 % reduction in income?? I was so sure that this new program would help me that I didn't keep up with the trial payments with BOA., they refused my payments and started foreclosure. I received the papers saying that they were having a sheriff sale on Jan 13. I called my costumer relations rep and started the modification process again I had taken in another renter, I asked if he could postpone the sheriff sale, he told me...no, That he couldn't ask till 5 days before the sale? I sent in my papers, He then sent me a letter stating that he needed additional information to be received by Jan 21. THEY SOLD MY HOME ON JAN13! I had the documents to them on the 11Th ,and called them on the12th I was told sorry its but they would not postpone....only to find out I could have filed an AFFIDAVIT OF POST -PONEMENT. I trusted them and they STOLE MY HOME...ITS ALL I HAD!!!.,,,Now the Bank says to buy it back its over 42,000. All I needed was a refinance..Please I don't want to loose my house. Wow, so many similar stories. Mine has some real nasties done by BAC. April 2007, my mom purchased a house with a studio apartment attached and set up with monthly automatic payments from her bank. Countrywide Home loans at that time. Spring of 2009, I obtained a cheaper insurance for the house. Countrywide assumed we dropped insurance and assigned their own insurance. Now paying two insurances in escrow. Her payments doubled ($360 to $700.) for several months until I caught it. (Was still making auto payments) racking up late fees and penalties. I thought I it was eventually straightened it out, but had her making partial payments of $100 - $150. for several months. Not telling her it would just make her future payments higher to compensate. Sometime in 2009. BAC took over Countrywide Home Loans and immediatly went into foreclosure. Over and over, filling out papers for modifications, faxing documents, talking on the phone over and over, each time someone different with totally different requests of documents with no clue what I had talked to the last person about. One modification had almost gone through but she forgot to date and sign one section. Sep 2010. BAC filed complaint to foreclose. Dec 2010 BAC or contracted person, broke into house, scared the live in nurse to hell. Saying they had the right to change locks and take any property as compensation. The nurse left, so we had to go between having her in the house with us and paying an nurse to be with her. March 14th 2011. BAC or contracted party, stated they went to the property, and someone there at the property told them 'she does not live here and is not there'. At this precise date and time we were remodeling and my mom was in the city with us.. NO one was at the house to answer this question to anyone. BAC kept stating no one was occupying the property, mostly I'm assuming because my mom was 92 and took her half hour to answer the door. I'm heading to court in a few hours because they want to assign a sale date. Problem is last month my mom died. So that brings up all kinds of new issues. What I have done is requested they 'produce the note' which they haven't yet. They haven't came up with that yet, so I guess the next step is to file a motion to compel, eventually sue. To begin with they shouldn't have been able to break in like that. There's some really fishy things going on. Is there a class action law suit anyone is filing, I can get in on?
