My husband went through the drive thru last evening. @ store #05003, Elkins, WV 26241. My tea tasted old , and the chicken on the HS chicken sandwich was very dry , and hard . I would say old . This is one of my favorite restaurants. I have only had a problem one other time . When I complained Lisa the manager acted like it was my falt. this is not going to happen again. I will not go again . I know that I am only one person but I . my husband 2 children will not go back. I do understand about things can go wrong or be over looked. Just make it up to the customer... I went to your auburn Alabama location on south college street on a Monday night after getting off a 11 hour shift at my resturant. I went through the drive threw and ordered your number one meal at about 9:50pm. When I first pulled up to the speaker they di D not suggest anything or gave a Shit for that matter. I ordered the number one. But before I could change my combo side she gave me a total without even asking me what I wanted to drink. Then I politely added that I wanted a Dr pepper and still just had a total in response. Pulled up to the window with the girl flirting with a male co worker and just took my card and swiped it. Got to the second window, not to my surprise the my order was messed up. I was sincerely disappointed Lo.g with the final look I got from the second window employee. Never have I been so disappointed un wendys in my life.
Today i was in the Sault Ste Marie Michigan Wendys. I must say it was the worst food ,and service, anywhere. There were 15 employees working at the time. One cashier and i'm not sure what the other 14 people were doing. i place a large order of food for a family of six. the service sucked, the food was cold. bake potatoes were still hard and wouldn't even melt butter. when i returned to the counter to complain the manager started to laugh. he didn't return our money or offer to replace the food that was inediable. they thought it was a big joke and many employees had a laugh at my expense. NEVER GO TO WENDYS IN SAULT STE MARIE. MICHIGAN!!!!! SAVE YOU MONEY!!!!! EAT ANYWHERE ELSE AND YOU WILL GET BETTER FOOD AND SERVICE.!!!!!!! Thank you and have a better day than I had.
Ok so i'm not one to normally rant or rave or anything of that nature, but i'm highly upset and i do have good reason. I think its unfair that our manager at my store keeps changing schedules and not telling certain people about it or calling them and saying "hey i just wanted to inform you we had some schedule changes and your on the schedule." They aren't even giving us that courtesy for that matter to tell us. My husband and I both work at the same store usually different hours which is fine. Now I'm not one to take up for my husband if I know he's done something wrong. I know that probably sounds bad, but the way I look at it is...he's responsible for his job just as I am for mine in other words...which is common sense in my book. But today I ended up calling him while I was at work to tell him he was put on the schedule for today when I know after triple checking the schedule Saturday when I wrote down our schedule to make sure it was correct, more or less and he checked it too before he left from work last night to tell'm that all of a sudden I find out he's on the schedule. He was highly upset that I was the one to tell him and not the managers...which should have been there responsibility to call'm and tell'm he was put on the schedule to begin with. Now he's being told he has to talk to the main manager in charge and I seen that they took him off the schedule for the whole week without telling him he was taken off. I had to tell him and that's not my responsibility. He asked for our Speak Out number from the managers that was working at the time and they refused to give it to him and told'm to just talk to the main manager. The Speak Out number is for anyone to use at anytime If they feel that they are being mistreated by the management and nothings being done about it. All I can say is they need to wise up or else there gonna end up losing more employees by treating them this way. And If nothings done I he plans on keeping going up the chain of command until something is done. And I really don't blame him.
On the way home from Cincinnati, we stopped at a Wendy's on the outskirts. We were so hungry and we couldn't wait to eat a big #2 meal. We got our meals and they were so greasy that I thought they were going to float away from our table. I personally used 3 napkins to soak up all the grease on 1 hamburger and the fries were almost as bad. If I hadn't been so hungry, I would have thrown them away!!! I drove through the driveway and complained and the girl just shrugged her shoulders and smiled!!! I realize it was 1 o'clock in the morning but if I would have wanted a greasy spoon, I would have went to Waffle House!!! Then we got home in Marion, Ohio and my mom went to Wendy's and complained about the same thing. The clerk stated that corporate was making them do it that way and they couldn't drain them from the grease. I said, you have got to be kidding me? Store #232 should be shut down and made into a parking lot..order was wrong didnt recive my cold french fries along with my dried up what ever it was burger.called treated like a little kid and hung up on!this store is in pueblo colo.gabe maes is the manger that wasnt there..i will not eat in any wendys anywere in this country.they are gross dirty and very unprofessinol pepole .sad thing is they inculding the corpeate office just sit and count the money and the hell with us!! eat at sonic or mc ds

After contacting the local newspaper and the health department, I decided to notify you... obviously WENDYS doesn't respond to these but I have to be fair and give WENDYS a fighting chance. After watching the foul mouthed employees spray cleaning chemicals onto their towels at the register... with orders waiting AT THE REGISTER... you see where I'm going with this? Anyway, my food was cold, a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger that was originally burnt, but was cold by the time I got it... which resulted in the food poisoning that I've just had to endure for the past 30 hours. You know what... don't bother, I am going back, I am recording everything... I WILL make an event out of this
Man it seems like everyone is giving bad reports on Wendys. No good comments well that's because they are all right they do have roaches and their managers are rude to the employers
I was at the drive thru on july 16, 2011 around 5:00pm. I bought my nephew deluxe cheeseburger while eating the burger he pulled out a 6 inch piece of black hair that belong to an Africa america employee. He spit the burger out. I immediately call Wendys in north little rock, ar on broadway st. I talk to a manager Rosie she said that the only thing that she could do is refund my money or give me another burger. I could hear in the background employees arguing about who is a fault about how the hair got into the food. The argument went back and forth and hanged up the phone. I never went to Wendy's to get another or a refund. It was not worth because I live in little rock and hardly in that area. I will never visit that store. There were very unprofessional.
Does anyone know what Customer Service means anymore? You would think even at the drive up you'd at least get a friendly person greeting you, but seems the norm now is just being RUDE!! I was at the Wendy's in North Salt Lake, UT which I gave my card to pay for food. The food was basically thrown out the window at me, no hi how are you or thank you for coming to Wendy's...just a scowl. The next day I went to use my card and I couldn't find it. I looked everywhere and then back tracked as to when I used it last. It was a Wendy's. I called immediately asking if they had a lost card and the answer was no. Was told the store manager would call me back. I had to call again. Spoke with the manager who was acting like I was putting her out and basically told me we don't have it so don't know what to tell you! Long story short, a Wendy's employee decided to keep my card and was dumb enough to use it the next day at the same store location. Called the police and canceled card. It's a shame we can't even trust the people who represent a food chain. I did ask if the fries were fresh (which they weren't) so maybe that made them mad? I will NEVER go to Wendy's again!!! Make sure you get your card back even if they try to rush you out of there! It seems fast food chains are getting worse with hiring good employees. You can't understand what they are saying, their very rude and short, and they just don't seem to enjoy or care about the importance of customer service. You may be saving money by not paying them much but you know the saying..."You get what you pay for."
I went to Wendy's in Champaign Illinois. I ordered three orders of crispy nuggets. When I got home my child said her nuggets were hot. I looked at them and they gave her four crispy nuggets and one spicy nugget. I looked in my others kids nuggets and they also had four crispy nuggets and one spicy nugget. I was very upset. I have called the resaurant numerous times and no one is answering the phones. I do not see this as an accident because it was in all three orders.I see it as they didn't have enough nuggets ready so they tried to be slick and put one spicy nugget in each order. This has happened to me once before but I didn't say anything because I thought it was an accident. Now I see it's not. I am keeping my receipt and when I go back in that neighborhood I will visit that restaurant and make a complaint. since they didn't answere the phone I figured I would come on here and complain.
I visited your Wendy's in Edenton NC. Its a fairly new store and I have been there many times since it opened. Stopped in at 12:02 on friday and got my usual stacker, fries and a diet pepsi. Pulled over in the parking lot and started eating. Half way through my burger I felt something jam into my gum next to my back tooth on the right side.After trying to get it out my self and I was unsuccessful, it was already starting to hurt. Luckily for me my dentist office was less then a mile down the road so I left and went there immediately.They took me right in, told my dentist what the problem was. I didn't know what the heck was in my gum, first thought a bone from the burger.He took a look and said yep there is definitely something that has penetrated your gum, and he said there was no way I could have gotten it out myself. He got his tools and in 30 seconds pulled it out of my gum. My first question was "What the heck was it?" He held it up and said it's a piece of METAL! He put it in a container for me and back I went to Wendy's. I asked to speak to the manager but he was to busy to come and sent an assistant.Took her to the side since it was 12:30 by this time and the place was packed.I am a business owner too and was trying to show them a little courtesy, I mean I could have made a loud announcement and cleared the place out.I told the asst. I came back to make them AWARE of what had happened too me. I told her they were lucky that I was not the type of person who would sue them, because someone else would have.She did offer my money back and I told her I was not there for my money, I just wanted them to know.She went to the manager and showed him the metal. Now this is the part that was wrong. He NEVER looked my way once, never came over him self to apologize, which I certainly would have done if I was the owner.He did send the asst back to ask her could he keep it. Told her I didn't care. She said he was going to show it to the meat dealer...which I really don't believe, but what ever. It took about 2 days and now my gum is feeling better. It was aggravated that quickly the dentist said, and it was swollen friday night and Sat.by Sunday morning it is feeling better. Rinsing my mouth with salty water I think helped. Wendy's at 3748 Ramsey St., Fayetteville, NC 28311. - I wanted to order a Chocolate Oreo Twisted Frosty. Female taking my order said they no longer sell them. I asked her, "You don't sell them anymore??" Did not receive a reply. A few seconds later she asked if that completed my order. I responded that I asked her a question about the Oreo frosty & she growled (huffed) over the intercom with an attitude. I pulled up to the 2nd drive thru window to speak with a manager, & the female that took my order comes from the 1st window to the 2nd to give me more attitude & proceeded to tell me about the frosty. I had no desire to speak with her, so the manager eventually came over & handled the situation. Female that took my order: Brittany or Tanekia - Extremely rude, lacks proper customer service abilities, horrible disposition, & an undesirable person to have representing your company. I will not return. I myself worked at Mc Donald's Restaurant for 7+ years, & the number of negative employees I have encountered at various fast food restaurants is appalling. What ever happened to hiring individuals that are competent & display courtesy & positive customer service?! If you hate your job so much then QUIT! Better yet, I'll help you out & get you fired! I'm tired of being treated unfairly by these employees & there are no consequences for their behavior. Well I refuse to let it go & demand the respect I deserve.
On 7.9.2011 i went to wendys located at 1477 so. ave. Plainfield, nj I ordered 4 bacon cheeseburgers which were $1.29 each and 4 small cokes with no ice. He returned with 4 regular hamburgers and 4 cokes with ice I politely told him that the order was incorrect he spun around and spilled all of the coke all over the floor he said I don't want to take your order Jamal was the person who waited on me, I asked him to call the manager , he said he was the manager ,the person in front of me had to tell him that he forgot to put his fries in the bag he told that person don't get bent out of shape over fries. I walked out of the store and went to another. I will not go back to wendys. Jamal should have the proper training on how to deal with customer. I gave it a poor rating because of the way i was treated. I have patronized that location since it opened and never have received service of this manner
Wendy's use to be my fav restaurant till it got to be everytime i ordered food from there the got my order wrong, or the food was horrible. I hate to say it but i will no longer be eating wendy's ever again.
You need to check into your stores in IN. They are working their employees with no breaks. Some are working 8-9 hrs and told they cannot go to the bathroom. Now this is utterly ridiculous. I know this is a Federal law that they are entitled to breaks and a lunch break. How can you expect good work out of those that are overworked and underpaid. Do you not care?? I guess you just hire another dummy to work for you until they get wise and quit. Dave would roll over in his grave, if he hasn't already. I don't think I'll patronize Wendy's anymore and will tell all my friends to do so also. Maybe if enough of us get the word out, you'll listen to the public. After all, we do sign your paycheck.

The worst customer service @ drive-thru window at the Wendy's north Queen St. Martinsburg, W.V. On Weds. June 29, 2011. I have never been treated so disrespectfully in my life. I didn't finish my order at the window, went inside to talk to management, who was completely incapable of handling any type of complaint. This was my first and last time visiting this location.
When the person working the cash register and does not listen to the order, there is a lot of mistakes with the orders, for they are the one putting into the computer. Then the personel has been cut to save expenses, and there are long lines of people and before customers start going other places, because it is no longer a fast food place. some people go there because it is suppose to be a fast food place and not have to wait to place the order and then takes several minutes to get you food order.
