I wish the cashiers at Walgreen's would learn some common courtesy and a little about customer service.
I called in to complain about the pharmacy dept at a Berwyn, IL store on Ogden & Oak Park. My Doctor approved a refill and the pharmacist says she can't fill it - well I need that prescription, my doctor sent the order in for a reason. The pharmacits says she'll do a parcial and charge me double what I would pay for a full prescription. Since when does the pharmacist decide on your medicine. I want something done. my reference #308-7299

I ordered a collage of pictures of my grandaughter's 1st birthday. I recieved it today and the quality of the collage was better than I expected. You just made my day, along with my daughter's mother's day. Thank you!
I love Walgreen at 3016 W. Gandy. I have been very upset with this store in the past few weeks. I do not like CVS. On April 23, 2011. I was in the store at 9:50 with someone else. We needed one thing. Yjey would not wait on us, the manger asked us to leave the store. They do not close until 10:00. April 30th at 4:36 P.M. I was in the same store. I was buying Cigarettes. They had tags for 2 for $8.?. The clerk said that was a mistake. He pulled the tags while I was standing and said he would not sell them to me at that price. I believe if the tag is there you should it. Don't make me go to CVS. Please contact me at cbainbridge@newhousetitle.com
I have had nothing but one problem after another with our local Walgreens. My prescriotns are sometimes short one or two pills. My husband who took Hydocodone had pills missing every time he filled his script. Once we reported this to the district office we have been treated even worse. Transfering to another store is difficult because it is the closet one to our home. Now they have put an interanl audit on our accounts and will not explain to me why this is...one even told me it is our insurance but our insurance told us no.
I am writing out of pure frustration. For some reason a pharmacist, took a major disliking to me. This comes as a surprize to me, since I have never been anything but kind and respectful to them. The only thing I can guess is someone reported them for something and they thought it was me. But the things they have done to me are unbelievable. The list is far to long, but just to name a few examples. When the doctor faxes. An rx for me, and I go to pick it up, only to be told they had not gotten it. Knowing they are going to be caught in a bold faced lie, and not even caring. They have blatently violated my privacy, in public to the point that complete strangers are willing to testify if asked. But there are some people that work there that I would not want to chance causing them a problem. I have asked them straight out why, but never given a reason. They have the only drive up window, so I am stuck there. If it continues I have kept good records and recordings. I just wonder has anyone else dealt with similar crazyness.
i had worked at walgreens return center for three years i went on pregnancy leave and during that i was called and told a mandatory firing has happened and i made the list, but now everyone there is working more overtime then ever before and i feel somewhat cheated due to poor managing there its hard news for a person after two weeks after having a child to get a call saying you have no job to return to i loved working for walgreens .its just sad with everyone losing their job for some to be fired especially when it is not called for.mccoure@gmail.com i do understand it is a buisiness but there has to be a better way to handle things.
On Monday, April 11, 2011 I called the Oxford, Ohio Walgreen's Pharmacy to have my Enulose Syrup prescription refilled as I do each month. The Pharmacy called the next day to say they would need to contact my physician since this refill called for only a partial dosage & they would call when it was ready. I called the Pharmacy on Wednesday, April 13th to see if my prescription was ready & was told my doctor had not notified them yet. On Friday, April 15th I stopped by in person to inquire about my Enulose prescription. The pharmacist, ANDREW HICKMAN, said the doctor had not yet contacted the drugstore. I asked Mr. Hickman why he had not called me about this delay because I would be glad to call my doctor to see what the problem might be. MR. HICKMAN said I should have received a call from their automated system & when I assured him I had not, he became very agitated. I told MR.HICKMAN we had not been pleased with the service from Walgreen's because these "mistakes" had occurred before. Ones like having to return twice to get my full two bottles of medicine, forgetting to put the easy open caps on because my arthritic fingers have trouble opening bottles, never calling back when told a call would be returned & the overall rudeness that he (Andrew Hickman) demonstrated each time we were unfortunate enough to be at the pharmacy counter when he was on duty. You see, no other employee has made us feel like we were interrupting their precious time & that any questions we might ask were unnecessary. Well, Mr. Hickman was really in a dither now & as his face turned turnip red he told me "I should find another pharmacy." I told him that would be no problem & left? I called my doctor when I returned home & was told they had faxed my prescription earlier that week. Just out of curiosity I returned to Walgreen's on Sunday, April 17th to inquire if I had any prescriptions waiting for me to pick up. I was told there was nothing. On Monday, April 18th I called my doctor again & asked if he would void the prescription he'd sent to Walgreen's & send one to Oxford Kroger Pharmacy? That was done with no wait, no hassle & no rudeness from their pharmacist Sherry. Now I realize the loss of one couple will not bankrupt their company...BUT, I'd certainly like to see Mr. Andrew Hickman taken to task for his unprofessional personality. Oh, by the way, Mr. Hickman told me he had no boss & that I'd have to deal with HIM! Wonder what that stores manager (Corey Staffend) thinks about that? Your pharmacist should be a trusted extension of your doctor & when they are NOT we should move on to one who will make us feel confident that our medications are important no matter how serious or not serious our illiness'.

I give this rating only because I am disappointed i Walgreens. I have used Walgre for years, and come MY 1,2011, I go to Cigna insurance, and they have no agreement between them.I will only be able to use a CVs store or Target of some other pharmacy. I dont understand this at all.
The Walgreens located at 1 E. Flagler Street, Miami, Fl 33131; Their phone # 305-371-5868; has an employee with a very unfriendly attitude. I purchased some pineapples, and she wasn't paying attention charging me $5.00. and when I told her it was $2.49; she got an attitude. She really did not want to be bothered sort of. The manager had to get things straighting out to get the correct amount paid. Also when I got home, discovered the pineapples (cup) was very sour!! I would appreciate if possible I can get reimbursed my $2.49 or at least Walgreens can give me a gift Card. Besides this employee name is a female: Andrienna or Anndrienne. She between her late teens/or early twenties. She needs serious counsel regarding her attitude. Besides they have very bad management!!! - Cassandra Moss email:seaoahu2009tahitianpearl@gmail.com
I went to the Walgreens on York & Chandler Rd. in Muskogee, OK a week ago. I purchased some Almay mascara that was on sale and I had a coupon for it. I went to the photography check out desk there was a young guy there that checked me out. He rang up my order and I went to give him some register rewards after he gave me a total. He said they can't take reg. rew. after they total the order. Then I was supposed to get a $5.00 rr back I forgot about that until I got out to the car. I went back in and there was an older female checker there and I told her my problem. She said "Oh no, if you use coupons you do not get reg. rew. Then she hollered accross the store at a man checker that was walking her way and said "Ken we don't give reg rew to them if they use coupons do we! He said no. I was very embarressed and will not ever use that store again. I feel like I got cheated out of what should have been mine. They acted like they were having to pay me out of their pockets.
If there was a rating for no stars you might earn it. The Walgreens pharmacy in Washingon,Mo is the rudest place I have ever done business. The first time I overlooked the customer service I received by the lack of courtesy and willing to help, but the second time and after quite a period of time I now assume that is the way the dept is run. I had just left the emergency room with my son and was in need to fill a prescription. It is approx 2:30am (April 5) not another customer in sight. I pull up to the drive up window and and voice out of no where ask if he can help. He doesn't show his face. After I said I needed to fill a prescription he comes to the window. He takes the prescription and ask if I want to come back after 8am to pick it up. Excuse me it is 2:30 am in the morning if I wanted to wait until 8am I would not be there now. He then says it will be 15 to 30 minutes....WHY??? But i leave and then come back and go into the store to pick it up. I go to the back of the store to the pharmacy again the only customer there at this time. I walk up to the counter the pharmacist sees me , he is spraying and wiping down the counter...He just keeps wiping then bends over picks up i believe it was a piece of lint it was so tiny he had to pinch it with his forefinger and thumb. Wipes down another place on the counter and I am staring at him the whole time. Finally I say excuse me and he slowly walks over and says can I help you . I tell him I am here to pick-up my prescription...He ask the name. Rings it up and hands it to me ...No thank you ,kiss my ass or anything...So what really should have taken me 10 minutes at the most was 45 minutes. And Also about a month ago same location my daughter is there 7 months pregnant had her son in the ER that night also had to pick-up a prescription and she runs in leaving her 8 year old in the car. Tells him to lock the doors and she will be right back out. He had received a shot while at the hospital which he falls asleep. She tries to wake him up to unlock the door. She cannot arouse him so after awhile she steps back into Walgreens and ask if there was anyone that could help her or call the police to unlock her doors. No one would offer to help.they just said sorry... This place needs to be called upon for the way they treat their customers... Med or no med I will not go back and will wait until the next morning like the pharmist wanted me to do anyway.
I have an idea that I thank would help Walgreens & your customers. An it is. Program your computers so when they search a name & address it pulls the hold family up so if any one els in that family has scrips ready to be picked up they show up. That would save time and you know that saving time saves money. You can contact me at ronnie.taylor91@yahoo.com Or at. 2362 Denmark St. Muskegon Mi. 49441 Or by phone at (231)8550625 Thank you Ron Taylor
I am writing about one particular Walgreens--which is located at Route 120 and Hainesville Road in Hainesville--the drug store people are fine it is the people in the pharmacy--today I called as I asked my physician to reill and antiobiodic and according to my physician it was faxed in to Walgreens on Tuesday and I called --nothing--I called this morning thursday nothing so i called my physician back and they said it was faxed so I called Walgreens and really laced them out --this is not my first itme of them being so lax and careless--finally per phone curtosity it was filled--several weeks ago i went to get some meds and I waited while two people -one pharmasist and one clerk stood athe their counter talking --I askef for service and they said --We are busy"--I plan to take my business elsewhere even tho it might be farther to drive--in this day and age there is no reason for being so lax--I am willling to take my turn and wait but when thre is no one standing in line and they are just gabbing --it is uncalled for and feel I am important as a patient and customer--and not asking for nothing but good service--thank you
To whom it may concern i did a temp. position at the corp. office at miramar pkwy in mirimar fla, that office is an embarasment to Walgreens and the healthcare field, they have family memebers employing other family members with NO medical background, they dont give proper training because they pefer to give whatever position there to family members if you do a complete background check i'm quite sure alot of them are not qualify for the positions and thats why your're losing money in that branch there is not a proper biller there a 20 year old that just came out of high school no medical degree only what her family members showed her. send someone in from headquarters undercover and see for yourself if you think i'm lying and you be the the judge.
My wife worked for Walgreens for one and a half years here in Cambridge Mn., and they bounced her around depts, she did her absolute best at whatever dept they put her in. But it is like most retail jobs, they oftern suck, but nobody can top Walgreens for top honors at the word SUCK!! My wife finally was offered a better position and better pay for another employer in Cambridge. My wife still is waiting to get her Vacation pay, we are going to contact the State Attorney Generals office and force them to pay her. There are laws on the books in this state that when you leave a job you are entitled to your earned pay. Walgreens thinks they can do whatever they want or for whatever reason. They are the worst place to shop, and most of their adds are misleading. The pharmacy is the biggest joke, and that is not the fault of the employees,as they work their butts off. They have to endure the verbal altercations at the drive up window, only because the moron people are too fat or to good to come into the store to pick up their RX'S. So they feel like they can verbally assualt the employees. People get off your LAZY ASSES and get off your drug addiction which is the biggest problem of all, vicoden, perkocet, etc. And Doctors stop linning your pockets with drug companies perks, for writting and contributing to this drug problem. Cut them off. WALGREENS TAKE NOTICE. WE ARE GOING AFTER YOU!! LORI SWANSON STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL WILL BE HEARING FROM US. AND SENIOR CITIZENS STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM WALGREENS AS THEY ARE ROBBING YOU BLIND, BECAUSE OF YOUR AGE. THEY ARE NOT YOUR FRIEND.
