Terminating a pharmacist who's been working overtime for Walgreen's for over six years, merely because he discussed Arizona's SB1070 law with a hispanic technician who he didn't know was a left-wing complainer, is a sad commentary on how far Walgreen's will go in the pursuit of "political correctness".
Transportation Dept. / 18 wheel Delivery Driver I am a 30 Year veteran driver, currenty employed by STI/Guion Ar. This letter is to inform you of the professional walgreen driver I observed a few weeks ago. I followed him I-20/85 around the Northern half of Atlanta approximately 30 plus miles. Your driver displayed perfection in every way. Speed, lane change, courtesy and the ability to maintain the very center of his lane. It is a rarity that another driver attracts my attention with perfection. My compliments to your transportation personel. They are setting a perfect example of highway safety. Sincerely Jon Stark \STI Driver\heathern11@comcast.net note: I recorded date and truck number/available to you on request.
I am very disappointed in the service and response received by one of your 24-hour Walgreens pharmacies. Because of poor treatment I received by a very disrespectful employee, I switched my prescriptions to Target. Target's service and personnel have been exemplary, but unfortunately, their pharmacy hours are not very convenient. I called my local Walgreen to ask that a prescription I needed a refill on be switched from Target to Walgreens. (I was willing to give Walgreens a 2nd chance.) I waited several hours to hear from Walgreens with regard to the transfer of my prescription. I finally called back only to be told that Target refused to make the transfer and would not cooperate with Walgreens. I therefore called Target just to be told that no one from Walgreens had ever called to request a transfer and that Target does not make a habit of refusing to transfer a prescription. I feel that the Walgreens employee blatantly lied to me, that no one from Walgreens had made any attempt to contact Target. I left my prescription at Target and will no longer use Walgreens, despite of the convenience. Lack of proper and respectful customer service is a necessity. I'll put up with some inconvenience in order to be treated well.
How the heck can a Walgreens pharmacist say that our mothers prescription was not flagged? She was able to purchase a 60 count hydrocodene script on July 1 and again on July 4? The pharmacist said it wasn't flagged because one was paid with cash and it was two different pharmacist. WTH? She spent 24 hours in and out of that store until they finally called the police!!
Claim Number: 30100598171-0001 I spent a half to one day in order to get estimates, all over town and sitting and waiting for them to do there work. I then mailed this to (Sedgwick CMS) Mary Hensiak I believe she tried to get it settled but some one decided they did not want to pay the bill of replacing the carpet. A copy of this bill was sent to Mary Hensiak, after weeks of run around i got a call from some lady, she said i needed to call someone out west in Utah in order for them to send me a dye kit so i could try to recolor my carpet. I spoke with a professional here in Fayetteville N.C. on dying the carpet and he said the carpet was to light, it would look worse, he said replace it. I drive a Buick Lucern 2006 with 37000 miles on it, i don't want my car trashed by Walgreen Politics. This has been going on now for several months, i am tired of the run around. I will start making regular announcements to my Church people about how Walgreen has treated me. In the next few days i will file a complaint with the Chamber of Commerce. Next i have friends in the legal field. Now i know that public relations will hurt you so sit still and i will start my public relations about Walgreen. I cannot believe that I was robbed by an employee of Walgreens. I had a triple by pass and open heart surgery. I went to Florida to recuperate, so while I was there I went to Walgreens to fill my prescriptions. The pharmacist did not have any coumadine, the most important medication and a necessity. I was told there was none available and he kept my prescription and said to return the next day. I did and again none available. Three times I was told to come back the next day and finally on the 4th try, it was filled. Returning home I received my credit card statement and Walgreens had charged me 4 times for the coumadine. I called them and questioned the pharmacist. He said you had to return to the pharmacy 4 times, so it's gonna cost you 4x for the coumodine. I was angry,I never heard of this before and he refused to correct the charges. I still can't believe this ridiculous situation. I want Walgreens to refund this money to me and also Walgreens never told me that my generic medication is free. Humana never told me either. I spent over a thousand dollars in medication from Walgreens and they were charging me as much as l5x the amount that should have been charged me according to my prior purchases of the identical same medication. If one of my medications was $4.00 they charged me $2l.00 for a 30 day supply, while the $4 covered a 90day supply. I want to get back what they "SCAMMED ME." I have the bills to prove it. The sales products are hardly ever available like the former woman stated. I hate to shop there and I'm angry with their service and taking advantage of Senior Citizens. I want to hear what the Chairman - President has to say about this...how would this article look in the newspapers. I always thought that Walgreens was an honest corporation and had the highest integrity, but not anymore.
I just went to my bank, only to find out someone had made A purchase at Walgreens for over $400.00 on my debit card. My bank was hacked into and someone from Florida stole debit card numbers and sold them to people in Mexico. They were having A free for all on my debit card and at least 40 other people who have filed police reports! Most charged at Walgreens and Toys R Us,huge purchases! They wiped me out and my bank has locked up my account for 8 to 10 days! I am sick to my stomach! How could this happen? Are picture ID's not asked for on such A large purchase? I am going public with this one! Buyers beware!
I live in New Orleans, La. several blocks from the Walgreens Store on Elysian Fields. This is the store where the teen was shot to death in the parking lot yesterday evening around 4:30pm. My 80 year old mother had just left the store a 30 mins. earlier. This is the last straw of the many incidents that happen in that Walgreens parking lot. My family will not be shopping there anymore. For the last several months there has been a lady begging for money with a young boy (5-6ish)she tells people coming out of the store that she ran out of gas & hates to have to ask but needs money to buy gas. After learning from other neighbors that she has been doing that for months, the last time I saw her I told her that I was going to report her to the police and the local child protection agency for child abuse. I mean she is there with that child in the heat or in the rain. I also went inside and talked to the store manager who seemed to be oblivious to her and the child which I later found out that many have reported her to him and he does nothing about it. Well, yesterday my mother was approached by her(with the young boy)again coming out of the store. It was pouring rain - after approaching my mother(who blasted her out) she went inside the store. THE STORE MANAGER IS ALLOWING THIS WOMAM TO BEG WITH THE CHILD ON YOUR PROPERTY AND DOES NOTHING ABOUT IT!!!!! SHE WAS PROBABLY STILL AT THE STORE WITH THAT CHILD WHEN THE MURDER OCCURRED. TODAY I CALLED THE NOPD CHILD ABUSE UNIT TO REPORT THIS WOMAN AND WHERE SHE IS BEGGING - AT YOUR STORE!!!! THE STORE MANAGER NEEDS TO GO - HE EITHER ALLOWS OR TURNS A BLIND EYE TO BAD ELEMENT AND RIFF RAFF THAT HANGS OUT AROUND YOUR STORE.
To Whom It May Concern: On Saturday May 22, 2010 I photographed, with Walgreens film, the Communion of my two nephews, Garrett, adopted from Guatemala and Ryan is brother, who has Cerebral Palsy. I photographed in the church, outside the church, with Father Lee and then at the catered reception at a restaurant. I was so happy to have great shots that would give pleasure to the family for a lifetime. Many of the family who attended were elderly and might not be with us by next year. I photographed the boy with everyone and then a group photo that was a masterpiece. I then directly to Walgreens # 3470, Huntington, New York, as I have been doing for years to get the film developed. I gave my film to the film attendant at 6:30PM who told me the prints would be ready at 7:30PM. At 7:00PM I’m there for pick-up when the photo attendant told me there was a jamb in the machine and he took the cover off and exposed the film. The film was destroyed!!! I almost fell to the floor. I couldn’t talk at first. I asked for the manager, Mr. Leudy, who said he was sorry but there’s nothing he could do. He did offer “Free prints of any type and amount for a Communion”. What the heck good is that!! What am I suppose to do get all those people together and stage another communion!!! The kid who processed the film was not trained properly, or he would not have opened the cover. To offer a roll of film and or prints of a Communion as compensation is absurd. I am so heart broken I still can’t tell my brother-in-law and his wife. I know that stuff happens! But, when you entrust you non-replaceable memories to a company, you better make sure you have the staff and the equipment. I hold Walgreens responsible for letting this happen and I want to know what Walgreens is going to do about! There is a latent image on the film, which a highly professional film lab might be able salvage. And if not I want to know how Walgreens is going to compensate for the loss. Please respond as to how you want to proceed. Dean Armbruster 631 549-0838
While in Walgreens located in Vallejo, Ca my son was injured by a metal chair which fell on his face around 5:06pm on May 24,2010. He recieved @ knotts, one located on the uper left side of his fore head and another inbetween his eyes browns, a bruise underneath his right eye and the whole right side of his face is so swole that he can barely open his eye. This incident had to happen two days before his birthday. He is only 23months having a hard metal chair that should not be sitting in a family store fall on his face. we rushe dhim to the hospital. we have no insurance, so what should have been a quick visit to the local walgreens turned into a scary moment, a hospital bill, and a long night trying to calm my son down and watch him to make sure he would wake up when he fell to sleep since the chair left knotts on crucial parts of his head. so what do i do from here? i am hiring a lawyer to deal with the case. You can contact me via email @ oneishakendall@yahoo.com. thank you
I went to four different Walgreen's locations yesterday in the attempt to find Hellman's Mayonnaise which is a featured sale item the week of May 17th. I was disgusted to find that each of these four locations did not have one container of this product in the store. It looked as if there had been none there at all or the few they had in stock were gone by the time we visited each store. At one location we were told by a salesperson to come back on Wednesday as this is when the store receives its weekly delivery. I found this very annoying as this is not the first time it's happened (moreso with grocery products) that the advertised items are never available in the store. I also prefer to call a toll free phone rather than having to write an email. I am wondering if I will get a response to this posting.
For years we have had prescriptions filled and done shopping at Walgreens and have always been impressed with the value and service. However, our recent experience at the store showed misleading advertised specials and gimmicks that are not consistant with the Walgreen brand. The manager on duty is a discredit to the company. As a long time customer and stockholder I am disappointed that this bad apple has not been weeded out.
Walgreens has always been a very convient store to shop at. This Sarturday,April 10, 2010 I went to Walgreens at 8050 Liberty Rd., in Baltimore,MD. I went to purchase a Virgin Mobile prepaid phone card for my son. I went to the rack which was listed Virgin Mobile prepaid cards. I picked up a $50.00 card took it to the cashier paid for it and left. When I got home I went to my computer to activate the card looked at it and it was a verizon prepaid card. I rushed back to Walgreens to the young man who waited on me and explained to him my problem. He replied He couldn't help me with a refund and called the store manager. Daniel the cashier went to the rack to find that someone had put the cards in the wrong racks. He asked if I wanted to speak to a manager i replied yes. The manager also told me bastically I had lost $50.00 and to try and call the number on the back of the card and speak to a rep. from Verizon pre paid. I did and the rep. asked me why couldn't they refund me my money since the card was not activated? I couldn't give him a sensiable answer. He couldn't help me. I need someone to help get my money back. My name is Ms. Loretta W. Barnes I am a single mother and I cannot afford to lose $50.00. My cell phone number is 1-443- 642-9728 my home number is 1-443-426-6452. Please someone call me to help me get a refund,PLEASE. My home address is 8001 Woodgate Ct. Apt. A, Baltimore, MD. 21244. Could not find any other method for reporting unsafe driving by one of your drivers. Earlier today, around 1:30 p.m., I was traveling with coworkers on the westbound lane of the North Belt in Houston, TX (in between Highway 59 North and the JFK Blvd exit, when we observed one of your drivers, truck #69768, which was a large bobtail truck, tailgating every car he (or she - could not see driver as we were on the passenger side of the truck)came upon. It was raining. Apparently this driver does not follow the two-second rule, much less increase his distance when road conditions would dictate extra caution. There was no way he could have stopped if he'd needed to without ramming the back of the cars he was following so closely. You need to put "How's My Driving" decals on your trucks.
