I am a 52yr old male nd have worked very hard all my life,at age 48 my neck hurt so bad i slept in a reclininger for 3 weeks, along with low back pain since I was in my twenties,I notice now days all the twenty year olds lift something heavy all of a sudden they have to go to pain management, the pain they had is from a muscle there never knew they had and trust me 3 to 6 weeks of working it will stretch that muscle out and you wont hurt, all these young kids are doing nothing buy ruining and cutting there life in half or lesser then that by being on these oxys, they think its all funny right now and think getting high and is the way to go with there life, take them for 1or 2 years then your pain starts getting real after you dont have them in your system, there is no person from the age of 18 to 30 that should any doctor be allowed to proscibe them pills to or be arrested for it unless they were in a severe car accident or something, there is no 20yr old alive that has a bad back from not working, your back dont go bad if you dont work,it hurts from laying on it so much watching TV and being lazy, pain management Doctors should send each and every client to there own radiolgiest to have MRI's done and be able to prove there is damage,I have had my back blow out in sept 2010 at l4/5 and had to have emergeny surgery then had plates and screws put in my neck in aug 2011 and wore a neck brace 24/7 to bed and all for 4 and a half months, and then again back surgery feb 2012,and always in chronic pain, what these kids dont realize the more they take sfter awhile they stop working an have no effect so they begain to take more and more then drink on top of them thinking it feels good to get on a good high until they take alot of them drink and are laying with an exploded heart when there friends go in to see why they been in bed all morning, every pain management Doctor isnt out for your best interest but you money you give them each month for your scrips, you will be replaced by another young kid when you drop off the earth from taking them, what i dont undrstand is if you have a reg Doctor and they think your in bad enough shape and pain they send you to pain management to get treatment and meds for your condition,I do think the only way people should be allowed to get these heavy pain meds is if there reg family Doctor send you to pain management and if they dont then no pain management Doctor should take you and give you pain meds if there isnt a referral from your family provider, when the State of florida starts doing that and making pain management Docotors have referrals to be able to give people pain meds then i will quarentee you they wont be no 20 to 30 year olds dying like flies so much from taking to many or ruining there life being on them,Walgrens drug store at 12028 majestic blvd hudson fl 34667 727-863-4575 has no right whatsoever being able to refuse to not fill a Doctors scripts there no Doctor they know nothing about your pain or what is wrong with you as to why your on them, but they hire people who will have there friends come in and they will tell them when there going to be there and tell them when the shippments are coming so they can be sure there friends get there meds before anyone else,I went there 8 days in a row at 9am and on the 9th day they said we have them but we cant fill it until 10am,i had just gotten out of the hospital and i called and told my wife to come and wait she got there at 9.45 am they were already filling scriptsd for others and 2 punks cut in line and when she got to the counter they were out they said, but they could have taken my script and i could have picked it up later but they wouldnt even do that they said we dont except them until 10am,what a bunch of crooked people they have working there,i know there was a long black haired kinda heavy girl who whispered to a guy she must knew are you paying cash today fro them he said yes she said give me the script and took it and filled it,but wouoldnt let me leave mine cause i have insurance who pays for them,Dr's choice is the same way they wont take your insurance cause they say they cost them more then what the insurance will give them back for them which i know is a lie,so then they said well you must have 5 scripts that arent pain meds before we will fill them for you, what the hell they think yo have to be a walking pharmacy to fill your pain meds, this world is really getting sicker and sicker day by day,and all the people they hire for walgrens now in hudson fla have there friends come to the front of the line an tell everyone else there out of the oxys when they go to the window but when there friends walk up there they will say i think we may have this one an just told me they had none and i looked over at the script and it was the same script as i had, there are a bunch of two face liers in hudson florida walgrens pharmacy,if you dont know no one there then your not getting you script filled, now they took care of that all together because everyone from my pain management Doctors office are dined his scripts they will not fill them no more so now all there friends have nothing to worry about cause my pain management docot has alot of patients an now all turned away,an every single script as the DEA's name on it but to them it dont matter DEa is nothing to them,I believe now the news team will be having this aired very shortly and i will make sure everyone in this state knows all about walgrens pharmacy at majestic blvd and st rd 52 in hudson florida,I always thought they were a top rated pharmacy until now,i also always thought they screened and drug tested all there enploys but most of them that work there are on pills as well, wont walgrens start testing all there enploys before hiring them,I think all people who work in anytype of law enforcement or pharmacy or any state worker should be drug free to do there job correctly an not all doped up and thinking no one can hear what there saying to there friends who they say there sending everyone else away telling them there out and to come back when no one is in line to get them filled, this is the worse pharmacy in the state walgrens,i been getting my meds there since 1992 and now all the young people they hire makes sure there friends gets theres first before anyone else who is in real pain and not going out getting high with them and selling them to others,FDA approved means nothing to walgrens at 52 and majestic, they arent doctors they didnt take your MRI"S so wont they be made to just fill the scripts when they are handed to them instead of saying we dont fill them until 10am nor do we fill them on the weekend, what pharmacy does that makes there own hours and days to fill pain meds,Walgrens is a joke,I really hope everyone goes out and gets thereself another pharmacy who will treat them like humans and fill everyones prescriptions and not just make sure there friends gets there before you who need them the worst after major surgery cannot get them at all so you suffer while the young druggies gets to get there high

I was told that in order to pick up someone else's prescription you had to have their drivers license with you. Now I have picked up some else's script same drug at CVS and they never told me a dang thing. Why is Walgreen's saying this? If its' their rule then say that but not make it seem like its a state rule

I went into the Walgreens here in Irving, Tx. to make a simply purchase of an monster energy drink. Only to be Denied services and have the Irving police called on me for speaking my mind. the night shift supervisor called the Irving police department and made a file report against me. I will not go into details but I will say this, I f I do not get I reply for Walgreens within the next few business days I will be contacting the better BBB and an attorney to sue the shit out of walgreens because I have a right to speak my mind and receive services as a paying customer without fear of losing my liberty in the process. So GMs DMs and RMs, I that you might want to address the isuues of racial discrimination within the walgreens in Irving Tx, coming from one Jennifer Brice.

walgreens is cutting out all middle management to save money due to the loss of Express scripts. as of march 12th all assistant managers and store team leads will be gone. they are also cutting store and pharmacy technician hours drastically, customer service will suffer immensly. They have DEEP pockets but are really turning tail by cutting the heart and soul of the store while keeping all of the corporate idiots in place. terrible management decisions at the corporate level will eventually do them in. CVS will take over as the Big Dog in a matter of a few years. i know because im one of the MGT's being cut and I run my store with virtually no help from other employees

First of all I have been going to walgreens for 20 years, I have never had an issue, up until several weeks ago. I just moved from Ky to OH, and my Dr. and surgeon is in Ky. I had to have a major surgery, and have been going to the same Dr. for 10 years. I also have fibromyalgia and am always in chronic pain. My Dr. started me on Oxycodone 5/500 and now I am on oxycodone 7/5. I have never had to sign a contract with my Dr, i have never failed a urine I have never went to the Er for extra medicine, nothing like that. In Ky my Dr. referred me to a surgeon, I went to that surgeon, he preformed the surgery and wrote me a script for the same thing my Dr. had me on, (I made sure he knew I had a Dr. who prescribed them). When Before I had moved to Ohio I lived in a little town, so there was one drug store that was close. There was no walgreens around. So for a few years I stayed at the same Pharmacy. I had my surgery, and instead of going to my old drug store an hour away, there was a Biggs Pharmacy next to my mother n laws house that was easy to go to since she was taking care of me after surfery. I had the script filled, no biggie. A week later i went to the Dr. for my results of my surgery and to see if they got it all out. (Thank God it was) however it was time for my refill on my meds. So I have a set of twins and a 3 year old, and that little tiny town pharmacy did not have a drive through, so i thought well, since I am going right next to walgreens by my house I will stop there. (Fields Ertel Rd.)Mason OH. I gave the pharmacist my prescription and he said he could not fill it, because i just had another dr. write me another prescription for a weeks supply. I said yes sir (although he looked 12) I understand that, but my Dr. knows about the surgery and he is the one who referred me to that Dr. and he knows that I have this script. He told me that I needed to quit Dr.shopping and get a life! Swear on everything! I have never been so upset, so he calls my Dr. (didn't speak to the Dr. just called nurses station and told them I have been Dr. shopping, and when I called the office the nurse said Sorry you have been dismissed from our practice, I was devastated. I called back and was crying and begged a sweet nurse to please have the Dr. call me back. The Dr, Did call back and I explained to him what had happened, he told me that the pharmacist told him that I had been Dr. shopping and Pharmacy shopping and I has just had 90 oxycodones filled! 90? Really after surgery? I told my Dr. I said I have never been short on my meds, I have never failed a urine test, I have kept journals on my pain levels so i wouldnt hurt so bad. He ran a casper report and nothing came back, especially 90 oxycodone. He apologized to me and said he was sorry for what the nurse had said, but there are alot of people who do that kind of thing. He told me just to stick with our little town pharmacy where everyone knows everyone that way there would be no problems! My husband went to the pharmacy to report him and I am sure raised his voice, because he knows I am not an addict, and i do not Dr. shop, but thought this pharmacist should pay some kind of consequence(sp) for this. NOTHING! Filed a report and the next month my husband came ther, because that is where he goes to get his non-narcotic medication at, the same pharmacist looked at him and told him he was a day early couldnt fill them, and that his insurance was no longer accepted! Screw you Walgreens, It's sad you dont have better mannered and trained professionals in your buisness. I have never been so humiliated in my life, and almost lost my Dr. of ten years over this bull! I have told everyone I know and trust me thats alot of people and they are now taking their buisness to CVS. So everyone out there, be prepared, i am seeing this more and more at walgreens, so if you want to use them more power to you.... Take care

In september of 2011 I started goin to a legitament pain management clinic one hour south of the county I reside in. I had to search for three days to find a Walgreens that was accepting new patients to fill 30 mg oxycodone tablets. After I found a pharmacy that would accept me I was informed that I would have to fill any and all prescriptions that I was prescribed. I told them that was fine with me as long as they would be able to fill my pain medication for servere chronic pain. Starting in about January I heard people were having problems filling that medication luckily I did not have that issue until this past month. Last week when I went to fill my RX I was informed that after march 1st,2012 my Walgreens at US1&Walton rd in PSL FL would no longer fill my medication because I have a out of town RX (my DR is only a hour away) not only did they not give us patients an amount of time for me to find a new Dr. That is local(mind you there is not many) they told me that even if I found a local Dr (Treasure Coast area) they still may not be able to fill my medication because they said the DEA draractically cut back the amount of oxycodone pills they receive month and with the amount of patients receiving that medication would be filled on a first come first serve basis. How can Walgreens make us be so loyal to them for them to fill our oxycodone medication and out of no where they come up with these new rules and crap on us. It's not fair!! With the limited amount of PM Drs on the Treasure coast I may have to wait months to get in and there's a chance that I might not get filled because of the so called limit the DEA put on chain pharmacy. I'm am honestly afraid of dying from withdrawal symptoms associated with my medication. I was also told by my pharmacist when I started filling there that if I missed one month or filled ANY prescription else where I would be automatically discharged. So if it takes me more then a month to find a new Dr I might not be able to fill at all and I know that all mom and pop pharms and major chain pharms are not accepting new patients for oxycodone so I am in a predicament that could cause me to have major complications. I don't think Walgreens is being fair to me after I've been so loyal I could of recieved more of a notice so I could find a new Dr or have my Dr ween me down and find an eqivulant medication. What happen to pain patients rights. How does the DEA think they are going to stop abuse by draining the pond that we all fish in together. Now I'm will suffer in serve pain just because a couple junkies robbed killed or died because of this medicine. It's not fair. I would like some answers to what's goin to be done!!!

I live in Edmond Oklahoma and I now oficially hate Walgreens. Not only do they treat their employees like garbage but they also completly ignore your availability to work. Also it seems by reading these other posts that they like to hire the worst possible management in the world. I will never shop at this company again. I hope they go bankrupt.

I worked for Walgreens. My manager was a complete B. She screamed at people over the PA. She openly said people should pray to St. this one or that one for help...Seriously? I quit after she mimicked me and said I was an embarrassment (which she claimed she asked all employees and their response, according to her. was she was correct) I was an excellent employee for Walgreens and I was treated like trash. My advice to all is to steer clear from this company. Either they don't know how to train their management or they just can't reign them in. I don't know, but either way, if they'll hire someone like her you don't want to be employed by them. Also, I still don't have my W2, called HQ 6 times and just go to hold for over 10 min with no one answering. Going to the IRS now.

I have had to continually call Walgreens over and over and the phone line goes blank when you dial 305-554-1706 store for refills on prescriptions. I have been call all night and the phones are out. I tried calling numerous other Miami Walgreens and the phones for those stores are out also. It's very frustrating to have service just stop when you are trusting a pharmacy that serves people 24 hours just shut down. This is not a one time thing. It has happened to me at least 3 other times. Also the store I go to has also closed early or for emergencies more than once as well around 3 times in the last year and I had to go without my medicine. This is very unprofessional and bad service to your customers. Walgreens needs to have however over see the running of these stores and not to continue to have phone lines go out and the pharmacy just close out of nowhere when people are trusting them with the medication they need to stay alive and healthy. Thank you

I would like to complain about getting my pain medication at your pharmacy in Wichita, KS at the intersection of 31st and Seneca. I have an issue with them every time I try to fill a script there. As of today you have lost me as a customer for both prescriptions and for shopping for other goods. I was told today I was not allowed to fill my script 5 days early because the pharmacist refused to do it. My insurance will pay for my prescriptions to be re-filled 8 days early. They know this and still refuse to refill except for every 30 days which leaves no wiggle room if they are out of stock, insurance problems, etc. Last month when I filled I had insurance problems and I had to go through a week of withdraw symptoms before I could get my meds because they refused to fill before the 30 day mark. Now here is the kicker. I said fine I will go across the street to Dillion's Pharmacy, they do not give me any issues about filling my scripts early. (Might I add that on the back of Walgreen's documentation it states to fill narcotic scripts at least 5 days early to prevent a possible case of withdraw symptoms) Now when I went to Dillions, Walgreen's had taken it upon themselves to call the store and tell them that I was filling early and to not allow me to do it. They told them that I have filled with them on the 23rd of January which was a lie, I filled on January 17th (and I have the prescription bottle to proove this). As a result Dillions refused to even check my insurance and would not fill my script. Please explain to me Walgreen's corporation why you say to fill scripts 5 days early on your paperwork but you allow your pharmacist to deny us the ability to fill them a few days early to prevent running out? Also, why is it acceptable for your pharmacist to take it upon themselves to call other pharmacy's and give them your personal information? Why are they allowed to be rude and condescending because you are filling a pain med? I have had numerous occasions where I have had to wait longer than other people for my script, I have been insulted for taken them, I have been looked down upon with frowns and dirty looks, and I have had extremely rude comments and behavior towards. Funny thing, they are nice until they look at my script, that's when I get the attitude changes. You would think you are dealing with Dr Jeckle and Mr Hyde. After today, and in the past (Which I have complained to the store manager numerous times) I officially am boycotting your pharmacy until I receive a formal apology and this issue with this store is resolved. I think it is discriminative to not allow me to fill my script 5 days early if the DR has allowed it and if the insurance has allowed me to fill it 8 days early. I was literally told by your pharmacist that they refused to do it and it had nothing to do with my insurance or my DR's order's. This is not the first time that has happened. However, this is the first time they have called another pharmacy and prevented me from filling my script elsewhere. I believe that should be illegal. It is non of there business where I choose to take me business, they told me they didn't want it. I do believe it is illegal to give out my information to another store. Might I add, I didnt tell them which Dillions I was going to, they just assumed and called the one accross the street. What if I hadn't of went across the street? Then they were just calling a random store they are not affiliated with and giving out my personal information. I was there today @ 7 pm ish, 2/16/2012. I would also like to add that my script from walgreens says it was filled 1/17/12, they told me that it was 1/20/12 in the drive thru, and called Dillions and told them 1/25/2012. I want a formal apology period or I will consider contacting a lawyer for discrimination. Jennifer Pritchard 6202 W. York Ct Wichita, KS, 67215

I have used walgreens pharmacy for a long time and all of a sudden I am being treated like a criminal. I am a pain patient and have been put through hell trying to fill my perscriptions, I even asked my pharmacist what medicine would be more accessible and he suggested a few , I changed my meds and came in to fil them and he said we dont have them, now what? you call us drug seekers , but we have no choice but to seek, I live with terrible pain and as a pharmacist you know you cant discontinue narcotic pain meds or you will experience withdrawal symtoms. I know the urgency of having to get your meds this is cruel and unusal punishment , if someone can suggest some answer to this problem im listening....

It is now February 10, 2010 and I still have not recieved my W-2 either. When I called the store that I worked at in Hendersonville, NC, I was told that I would have to pick it up in-person. That would be a four hour drive round trip, and finally the manager there asked me for my address. I put a change of address in with the USPS, and if they had mailed it on time, like they were suppose to, I would have it by now. The manager there has more attitude than brains in my opinion.

2-9-12 I made a purchase of valentines products, at which time I dropped $63.00 out of my pocket. I realized this after I left the store, and had gotten home. I called the store, and spoke with the manager Chad. He stated that the money had been turned in. I thanked him, and told him I would be coming to get it. It should be noted that I identified myself. Upon my arrival the manager Chad advised me he gave the money to another man that said it was his. Needless to say I was angry. I told him you just cost me $63.00. He in a very rude manner, stated "right sir it's always somebody else's fault". Granted, I dropped the money. But once he acknowledged that he recovered it, He became responsible for it. So in so many words he told me too bad in a rude manner. It's not worth suing over $63.00, but it did just cost them thousands of dollars considering how many prescriptions my family use to get filled there. I have been a Walgreens customer for over 25 years. But today they just lost my families business forever. I'll be taking my money to CVS or Rite Aid from now on. Store Information: Walgreens at 909 David Dr Metairie La, 70003. Phone # 504-818-1170

Who can I talk to about getting my W-2 forms?? Been waiting for weeks. I don't think this is professional at all. I no longer work for Walgreens and I been getting the run around. I spoke to my ex-manager about my situation and he told me to come back to see him Wednesday (2/8/12) which I did. Now he is telling he can't locate my W-2's

Have been a regular customer for many years. Will no longer shop at Walgreens. I have been battling cancer, the last two times I tried to fill my prescriptions at Walgreens in Baltimore, md on York rd and ridgely I was told by pharmacist and tech that there is no patient match with my insurance card. Walgreens is the only pharmacy that sees this problem. There is no problem with myinsurance. Rather than figure out the problem and keep a good, loyal customer, they opted to charge me full price, which I refused. As a result I had to drive around to find a pharmacy that had the medicine, in pain. Is this ethical? Legal? I am checking but you have lost my whole family and extended family. I hope is was worth the loss to you!

My husband has end stage emphysema. He worked in a factory that grew and cut silicon crystals for the computer industry, and breathed that into his lungs for eleven years. He suffered a broken spine in a car crash. Most recently, he broke his hip in a fall. He has been with a certified pain management specialist for over a year and takes oxycodone for breakthrough pain, methadone for long term pain relief, and many other meds for his illness. We never had a problem. That was then, but in the past few months, I have been unable fill his oxycodone prescription without a problem. The registered pharmacist at the Walgreens at Ulmerton Road in Largo was simply rude to the point of being hateful and described me as a drug seeker. Well, DUUUHHH, lady, and I use that term loosely...yes, we are seeking to keep my dying husband as painfree as possible. You made that impossible today. So, we wait. For what? To allow anyone in his condition to suffer, even for one day, is simply terrible. She had the nerve to ask me why he wasn't in Hospice Care for that kind of pain management. On another note, she was there in place of Pete, the regular certified pharmacist, who profusely apologized to me the past couple of times I encountered this unbelievable type of discrimination against my husband. By a member of his own staff. Of Walgreens Pharmacy. In Florida...pill mill capitol of the world. Not every one is a JUNKIE seeking their fix here. There are real, normal, sick and dying individuals who cannot find a pharmacy that will fill these prescriptions from a doctor who does NOT run a pill mill! I do not understand why this is happening to us. When will this madness end. When my dear husband is in the ground, at least I will be able to sleep at night knowing I did everything I could to make him as comfortable as possible. Just how well do YOU sleep at night, mean pharmacist who stands in for Pete, the real pharmacist at Ulmerton in Largo, Florida?

Not sure if thats a fair rating. The district manager are good and so is my store manager. I am an EXA and looks like i'm about to be fired. I accepted a sample of sunscreen from a vendor which we have had this vendor in our store with their models to hand out samples to our employees and customers and she gave me a brand new product to test to explain to customers how it worked. I was reported by an employee for stealing and putting something in my backpack. Right from the get go Loss prevention agent Destry Prescott accused me of stealing. Very false. Its on camera that I didnt take it from the shelf and was verified from the vendor. Well it seems he still wants to fire me. Ive worked my butt off for a few years with this company moving up the ladder quick and all this guy wants to do is fire me I think its so wrong!! Walgreens needs to look in to this Destry Prescott out of California!! Bad guy!

walgreens is a JOKE! They do NOT value their employees at all. My husband gave them 4 yrs, only to be degraded constantly! If you are not in the "ring" you are nothing. Its sad because you can't even go to the district manager with complaints, because he would disregard your complaint, due to being "in the ring" with the person the complaint is on. my husband just sat on hold for 30 min to speak with corporate about not receiving his w2 yet. They got snippy and said "well you didn't receive it because it is available to you online". my husband has not worked for them since Jan 2nd. shouldn't payroll know this, and have it sent out by the 31st? SMH! they way walgreens is ran...wal-mart will put them out soon.

OK. To everyone complaining that Walgreens is anti America for not taking tricare, yiubdo realize how youreberong? Right? Walgreens isn't refusing tricare. The company that manages tricares contracts is refusing Walgreens. They want the tricare business, but express scripts (the pbm that manages tricare) won't sign contracts. Do you think Walgreens would willingly lose billions of dollars in revenue just for fun?

Worked for Walgreen 30 years. When Mr Walgreen was still alive the store ran beautifully no problems. Now in the last 2 years the managers are awful. I was cut down to 10 hr a week then to 6 hours because the manager needed to give my hours to a new hire for training. Then he gave me vacation time for 2 weeks, of course i was not told and to find out no pay because i didn't have any vacation time left. Then he has no work for 2 weeks except 2 hr. This man did not like me, I have a very good reputation for being an excellent worker. Then i tried to quit and found out that he thought on was going on disability. What a bad time, and then i didn't get a w2 form. This manager teaches other store manager how to run a store. Joke is his store is the worst i have ever seen. Products in wrong places, store dirty. Constant yelling and screaming from this manager. Walgreen is not a place you ever want to work for. It a shame
