Walgreen on 1st and River in Tucson. Corporate you need to send somebody uncover to this store so you can see how mangers treat some of their employees. I have seen a manger pull one of the staff hair and raised a fist towards this staff face as trying to bunch this person face. I never seen so much bad treatment towards these hard working workers. Something has to be done before somebody gets hurt. These worker don't have to put up with this kind of harassment or bulling from their mangers. This kind of harassment is uncall for this job should be a safe place to work. I strongly suggest you look into this very quickly. ASASP... No body should be treated so badly that mangers make some of the workers cry. They don't need this kind of treatment. Mangers in this store have no respect towards the employees nor the public very rude managers.

Store At Tucson AZ store # 4104 Is the worst we are not being treated with respect AT ALL. I have no idea of what I must do. I Pat Marchell and Lee Navares dont want me or others see the prize in our registers or marefy it because it was wrong prize, and yet they dont want total voids they must make themselfs putt the real prizes. This two and other higher managers have no idea how to handle rude, costumers they must stay at least 1 week by themself knowing how to deal with people starting with the front registers. The front cashier is not allow to move lets see how can this people be helping with out knowing what they are doing.

I am so over this company. I live in a very rural area, and have to drive 30 miles each way to get to a pharmacy. We had a lovely mom and pop pharmacy in our town, and the town over (Best Drugs). Well, Walgreens bought them out. The one in Newberry Florida closed down, and the one in Trenton Florida will soon be run by Walgreens. I do not think this will be one of your run of the mill Walgreens, as its a small store and no room for expansion. Anyway, let me get to the point. I have to now use Walgreens, and its bad enough I am stressed to the max with Dr. appts., keeping up with expenses ect ect, now I deal with a man who is the head pharmacist who is the biggest A hole I have ever met. I could write a 20 page letter and bore you all to tears or outrage yall, and you prob. would shake your head thinking WOW, this lady is a great story teller, no way could this happen. I am not going to waste my time writing a 20 page letter, it will just piss me off more as I type it. Everything you have read above, is all so true, now take the worst story and times it by 50!!!! I called Corporate office, dealt with a half way nice lady who straightend things out, when I went back to Walgreens to get my money back (they charged me and medicare) and they owed me money, or thats medicare fraud. The head pharmacist was beyond mean, he made me feel like I was a drug addict. He embarassed me with his loud voice booming across the store, as he explained I should not be getting my money back, and he made his manager come and do it. The manager was appauled at the pharmacist but he did give me my money back, as I had already called ahead (so did Corporate) and they told them, pay the lady back, this is fraud. I am now stuck with these people unless I want to drive 60 miles into Gainesville. I am sorry if my story is not precise and all over the place, I start to cry just thinking of how they treated me. Every month I have to go in and get my meds , and I get sick to my stomach knowing that the main pharm. now makes me wait longer then anyone else (Two people dropped off their scripts 20 min. after me, and had them ready in 10 minutes) I had to wait an hour and a half. (It is not worth the gas to go home and come back) . I have been on the same medication for 6 years, and have a history with a Walgreens in another town (they were wonderful) so they know, I do not Dr shop, I have been with same meds, and did go to Best Drugs when I moved because they were closer. They have a power trip mind set, and A God complex (at least the one in Chiefland Florida does). No one, I mean No One should be treated like a piece of garbage, with zero respect. I live in constant pain, and I do everything my Drs ask of me, even though I am in pain (even with pain medication) I always try to smile, treat people nicely, and not let the outside world know how I feel. I would never wish anything like I have on anyone, but I would love to see how he would feel if someone treated him half as bad as he treats me and other people that come in. I know, I sit there for an hour and a half every month, and it is just not me he treats like garbage. If you hate your job, QUIT!! I realize they are always changing the laws on meds in Florida, but this is your job. How I miss the mom and pop places where they knew you by name, knew how to smile, and knew how to treat a human. Walgreens, unfortunatly for now I do have to do business with you, but I hear a CVS is opening up, and when it does, I will run, skip and hop all the way there (and I only have one leg) :) sincerely, a nice person who dislikes the Chiefland Florida pharmacy!!!! P.S. The ladies who work in the other departments like the cashiers and the wonderful lady (blonde head, older woman) in your cosmetics dept. should be given raises, always a smile, and always so helpful, that when I am walking out they always renew my hope in human kind. Please get rid of that horrible man who is head pharmacist at Chiefland Florida pharmacy. I beg you!!

I just spent 31 hours trying to get a prescription for an antibiotic from the Walgreens in Moses Lake, Washington. Unbelievable!!! I can understand that pharmacy's are sometimes closed on holidays. My husband is ill a lot after dealing with a brain tumor that he has had removed twice. He gets ill easily and so we spend a lot of time trying to keep up with all the medications. That alone is frustrating but nothing we can do about it. He had sinus infection again last month and we had to go to the walk-in clinic again to get medicine to help him. It didn't work again and after 10 days the sinus infection came right back....it just happened to be the night before Easter. I contacted his doctor by phone on Easter and the doctor tried to call the prescription for a stronger antibiotic in to Walgreens but they were closed for the holiday. Okay, I can accept that. He asked me to call his office Monday morning at 8:00am to remind him to call it in again. It took hours as he was apparently ill that day and I had to go through nurses and another doctor trying to get the prescription filled. I called Walgreen's pharmacy to see if they had received the prescription after awhile and the lady said they hadn't. I called later and again they hadn't received it. I asked her if she could please call me as soon as they were able to fill it. Hours went by and nothing. I finally called about 12:30 pm and she said yes they were filling it now. I mentioned that I had asked that they call as soon as they received it, but hadn't received a call. She said she was the one I talked to but that she had gone to lunch and it probably came in while she was gone. I said, "And you couldn't have asked someone else to call if it came in while you were gone?" Silence for a minute and then, "Yea I should have done that, sorry." Oh well half my day has been wasted now and I still have to drive nearly 30 minutes to get there. So I asked her if the prescription will be ready if I come in now. Oh yes, they're filling it now. I get there and a female comes to the window and tries to give me a prescription of antibiotics with only 3 pills in it. She said they were out and so I would have to come back tomorrow to get the rest. I don't know if it was the same one I had talked to or not, but my guess is it was. Total Incompetence!!!!!! I told her I was not driving all the way back in the next day to get the prescription that I was told would be ready when I got there today. I asked her to transfer the prescription to another pharmacy along with my insurance information. She was gone for a bit and came back and said Rite Aid would be filling it. I did an errand while I waited for them to fill it and when I tried to pick it up, they had no information on my prescription coverage. Unbelievable. So I talked them into calling Walgreens and getting the information, which they did. So another hour wasted! We used to like Walgreens Pharmacy in Moses Lake but this past few months has been unbelievable. We have had one thing after another go wrong with our prescriptions because of employee errors or they were out of medicines that we even had on their automatic refill so they knew they would need them. Last month, they even handed us a prescription for medicine that we paid and after leaving, we realized that there were only 5 pills in the bottle instead of 20 like the label said. Total Incompetence!!!!!! When I went back and asked what happened, they tried to keep me from speaking with the manager. All she said was, "Well someone just made a mistake." What is going on with your store????? Having to depend on medicines to keep a family member well is stressful enough. Having to deal with a totally incompetent pharmacy just makes it unbearable....not to mention the worry about whether or not they know what they are doing!!!!

my husband is insulin dependant,my ins authorizes a refill every 10 days. every time we call 63 king dr/chicago, they tell my husband its not time yet. when i call to correct this they are very rude and ghetto.yesterday he call for refill at67stony island, went to pick it up today and they was out of insulin, that they called 63rd king drive and they will have it ready. he went to 63rd king dr. they said he dont have any refills left.he left the store, before he made it home, walgreens at 63rd king drive called our number, stated he was right, tell him he can come back and pick it up.she thought it was funny.SO IN CONCLUSION,HE PUT IN A RX YESTERDAY,WENT TO 2 DIFFERANT STORES TODAY AND STILL HAS NO INSULIN AS OF 12:30 THIS AFTERNOON.HOPE IT REALLY IS READY WHEN WE MAKE A THIRD TRIP TODAY!HE IS INSULIN DEPENDANT AND STILL HAS NO INSULIN.

Most of Walgreens store managers are drug addicts and alcoholics. I am a former assistant manager. An employee relations representative came to a Memphis, TN manager meeting and told us that Walgreens do not fire their store managers for being drug addicts or alcoholics. Thats fine with me because everyone needs a job. But for goodness sake, please make them go to rehab and do random drug tests on those store managers. However, Walgreens is bogus because a store clerk refused to take a drug test and was fired. Furthermore, an assistant manager tested positive for THC and was fired. If other store personnel are drug addicts or alcoholics, how come they are fired, and the store managers are not fired. Thats why the store management are very rude and very good liars.

My personal property was stolen by a Walgreen's employee and the management team, including the Loss Prevention District Manager, Mike Bryant, and with exception of the store manager, Gary, does not seem to consider this an important issue. Here is what happened... At 12:33pm on February 16th, I laid a 64 gig flashdrive with a corporate key fob and holder on the perfume counter to access the cash with which I purchased the items. at 12:37 that same day, the honest sales associate handed the items to the assistant manager on duty. The security camera supports this. That day I traveled to Thailand and returned to the States on February 26th. On Monday, February 27th I called the store and was told they did not have the item in the safe. On March 1st, after searching my company and my personal home, car, etc. I came to the conclusion I must have left the flashdrive, fob and holder at the store. I returned to the store and was excited to hear from Ash, the sales associate that she did turn it in and that the assistant manager would be in at 3:30 (in 1 hour) I returned to the store to speak with the assistant manger and got nothing but excuses as to why he could not find it. The security camera shows it in his possession and even that he put it in his pocket. His story changed 5 times as to what he did with it. Since March 1st (it is now March 19) I have received nothing but excuses as to why MY PERSONAL PROPERTY that was found at their store cannot be found. Mike Bryant seems be too busy to seriously get to the bottom of this. I have called and even raised my voice out of frustration at the assistant managers because they do not see the importance of this. Multiple calls to the corporate customer service number has yielded NOTHING! I am disappointed, angry and am trying to forgive the person who stole this and who is lying about its present location. Today I called the corporate office and hope to make progress. I have offered to pay hundreds of dollars as a reward to have it back, but the assistant managers refuse to tell their employees this. My next course of action is to CONTACT THE MEDIA and the polisce as I have many connections. I will never shop that Walgreens again and plan to ensure everyone knows that this company does not do business according to their stated corporate values.

I would like to thank Walgreens for keeping me well informed of my prescriptions, and my diabetic management. I cannot say enough about this great staff at handcock and hwy 50 in Clermont Florida. I can say that I was turned off by the management staff a few years ago while visiting the store because the manager would not talk to me he just walked away from me and sent another assistant to answer my question. He made me feel as if he was better then me and could not be bothered with my question. I recently had to return to this location with my mom who was sick and was in need of her prescription and a few other things. I dreaded going into this store but my mom did not want me to travel down to the CVS a few miles down the road. We walked in the store and a manager was standing near the door greeted us, he asked my mom if she was ok and assisted us to the pharmacy. He went behind the counter and got her medicine and had the pharmacist speak explain to my mom about the medication. They both took their time to help and even went and help find the items we were looking for in the store. I asked him his name because I wanted to let you now that he was a great help and he stated, I am just doing my job! I will recommend this store to anyone, and must say that this was an unexpected experience that my mom and I will never forget. your company should really have more store managers like this one, he will be successful with that type of customer service. Thank you Mr. Ward and staff at this walgreens for going the above and beyond when we needed it.

Your pharmacy in Bath, Maine is a joke. The pharmacists feels the need to call my dentist and my oral surgeon to inform them I am taking oxycontin for a back surgery. I don't understand why they feel the need to call my other doctors that have absolutely nothing to do with my back problems and tell them my medical history. I am doing some research and finding out what kind of actions if any can be taken against this pharmacy. Not once have I gone in there and had my pain medication refilled without a problem or a lecture. After reading all these complaints, I hope Walgreen's pharmacy is shut-down or goes out of business. Your company does not seem to want to help people, they are more apt to give them problems and make situations incredibly difficult! Walgreens Pharmacists attitudes are if you take pain medication you must be a drug addict or selling your medication.

I will never shop at Walgreens again. I took my son that had been near death to Walgreens. He had been in a horrible roll over auto accident. His back had three broken bones. He had been in surgery the week before. His wife is a Captian in the military. Because she was out of the country, he came to stay with me after surgery. I walked in with him at Walgreens to get his pain script filled. After a very long wait, the pharmacist called him over. I helped him make it to the counter. He was in so much pain, his skin was an terrible gray. He is nearly forty years old. I am in my sixties. The pharmacist in a loud voice said, "I don't feel comfortable filling this," then threw the prescription at him. My heart just broke for him. I had never seen my son cry before, he was bent over crying in pain when we got to the car. I took that same prescription to a CVS; and, without any questions it was filled. No one in their right mind would take a fake prescription to a pharmacy. That pharmacist truly enjoyed his power trip. I enjoyed taking my business somewhere else. Where does Walgreens get their employees...it is the public's money that pays them. I will never step foot in Walgreens door again...thanks ...but ...no thanks Walgreens. Former customer at Walgreens Bumby and Colonial Drive Orlando Florida

I assume your management staff (at least a few of them) can read, and may even be able to understand your training of employees is extremely lacking and in dire need of extreme revision; some of these personal experiences related here are appalling. At the corporate level, you may not yet see the negative effect on your "bottom line." (you will however) As a retired pharmacist, I seriously doubt that it's just me that still recognize customer service is not a thing of the past-it is still as relevant today as it ever was. Learn from these horror stories w/ your company, or time will help you learn from your disrespectful, condescending attitude(s) toward your (probable) temporary customers. Surely, a corporation of your size cannot be that ignorant of the ultimate outcome of such behavior(s). Rob Muller, Registered Pharmacist (Retired)

On Sunday (March 4, 2012) I needed some sterile water for flushing my husband's catherer. Desperately, I called around to try to locate some. The Walgreens store on Paul Huff Pkwy located in Cleveland, TN, reported that they had some 8 ounce (250 mL) bottles. They charged me $6.00 per bottle (total of 25.98). I suspected that this was kind of high for eight ounces of water especially since the water was out-of-date. It had an expiration date of Feb 12, but I paid what they asked and went on my way. Today (March 8, 2012), I went to the Medical Center Pharmacy in Cleveland, TN, and purchased two bottles of sterile water (1000 mL) each. Each bottle was $3.00. I would not trust Walgreen to fill any perscription for me!

I am a foster parent to three special needs children one of which is on Adderall. This is the second time I have had to wait for his medication for over a week- only to be told to go somewhere else to find it. I am requesting from the social worker, permission to fill the prescriptions(all of them and with 3special needs children-there are many) somewhere else. It's not the fact that there's a shortage of medication. It's the fact that the staff are so rude. It's not my fault that these children are on medications. But one thing that the Walgreens staff needs to realize is that filling prescriptions is, what after all, pays their salaries. If they can't fill the medication it would not hurt them to call around to other pharmacies and try to find a place to send the client so that the medication can be filled. I have had it with their high prices and rude staff and will be changing pharmacies as soon as the social worker okay's it. I think it's the rudeness of the staff that upsets me the most.

I forgot to add the location of the pharmacy that has rude staff. The Walgreens where I have been attempting to get my foster Childs medicine from is located in Winona Minnesota. Again -they could have been nicer, they could have attempted to locate the drug that was in shortage at another pharmacy for me but they did not. I have already stopped getting my medication there-the first time I encountered this problem. But the social worker for the county determines where I get the foster children's medications.

i went to a green bay walgreen to get a script filled for my foot that was brokin in 4 places only to have them literally tear the script up in front of me and tell me im an addict and all sorts of stuff because my pissed off ex called them and discussed my medical records with them and lied stating im selling and abusing them!!! can they legally do this!?!?!? i called their corp. hq only to be told its at the pharmisists discretion to fill a script but what right does he have to tear it up and throw it away!?!?!?

I would love to know how Walgrens pharmacy in hudson fl located at 12028majestic blvd can refuse to fill a pain management Doctors prescription they had filled for the last 5years for me alone and then all of a sudden they say were no longer filling this Doctors scripts,This doctor is under the DEA's supervision and has every record checked and the amount of pills he is given to each person is all filed with the DEA and there checked and the DEA is even stamped on the prescription,I find Walgren's thats suppose to be a pharmacy who you are suppose to be able to take your scripts to and have them filled and have no right whatsoever saying anything about the Doctors office who writes them,I do agree on one thing that there is no 18yr old to 30yr old that would even be given these meds unless they were in a major accident, there are I am sure 70% of young kids on these that do them for a high not knowing after they take them for a 6month period they have DT"s when there out,I believe walgrens enployers and the managers there hiring are going to make them lose alot of business now because there acting like they have the final say on who's precription they will fill and who's they wont when its not there business of what a Doctor proscribs to there client, the pharmacy has no clue what is wrong with you they dont examine you and do blood work and MRI's or xrays to see what is wrong with you,But the Doctor who knows and does that is told Walgrens has stopped filling any script you write to the people they have seen for years,I do believe this is a case of disrimination and i for one intend to go to channel 8 on your side and I really hope after the papers are filled with the type of pharmacy they turnt out to be now they will go under and let CVS be the number 1 pharmacy in the state,
