One week ago i fell down some steps in my house and sprained my ankle. I needed cruthes and went to walgreens. I couldnt walk so i had to have my ex husband go in to get my crutches. Needless to say at the time i was in a lot of pain. I got the crutches and went home. Yesterday i went to turn them back in and get my $30.00 refund. I had to have hail damage repairs done to my car and inadvertently had left the receipt in the car went i took it in. Got my car back receipt was missing. Now I am a Police Officer, I completely understand the policy of not making refunds on returned items that couls be shoplifted out of a store. Crutches however are kept behind the counter at the pharmacy and could not be shoplifted. Perhaps $30 is no big deal to some people, but to me its alot being a single mother. I don't normally shop at walgreens since the stop excepting my insurance, so a $30 store credit does me no good. My daughter needs medicine and without the $30 i cannot get her medicine for her for 10 days. Unless someone contacts me with information on how i can get my $30 back My family will never again step foot in a Walgreens store. CVS here we come.

I am so tired of these pharmacys playing games. I have severe degenerative bone disease ant for years have had my scripts filled at one of the two places on Dunn Ave in. Jacksonville FL. My neighbor gets the same pain meds as I but they fill his..he is 74 years old. I am 58. I have a 5000 dollar acct or better each month due to having lupus and needing hip replacement. Why are you big wigs allowing this. I left them and got a letter with a check in it to switch back. Bad..bad mistake. Please respond to my complaint. I know about the Dea and the courts so that's not it. They fill scripts for there friends. Panama Pharmacy on main talked to them for me n they said they had plenty of what I take. So I go back and get the same treatment. I'm gonna find a good drug store that wants my account. This is shamefull.

Where to begin!! check this out. I suffer from severe anxiety, depression, panic attcks and constant pain from firbomyalgia. I have no money cause i cant work. I have been trying to get disabilitty for almost a year know. I am living with friends. I have to return cans for money to pay for my basic meds, (i am suppose to be on several) I have an LIHP card which is health ins for low income. The first time i went to walgreens, i gave them my card, and I was told that they did not accept that card, and that they did not even know how to bill for it. Based on what they told me I assumed that I did not have RX ins on the card. So I paid for my first Rx of ativan in cash. Then next time I went there, I had just been relased from the hopsital with alot of meds, half were pshyotropoics to keep me calm and functional. Two of the most important meds I could not get because they were so expensive. I bought a discount card from them and was able to purchase five of my meds for about 100.00 bucks which I had to beg and borrow to get!!! I have a rx for tramadol which keeps me calm , this is the only one i can afford rigght now. I always stress out when it comes time to refill it not knowing how i am going to afford it. This has been going on for almost a year now. I have yet to able to get my physc meds, so I have been loosing it a little more each day. Well, today I was going through my handbook for my ins and came across the meds that my ins covers, and guess what, THEY WERE ALL ON THE LIST!!!!!!!!!! I was pissed, i found out that walgreens is contracted with my ins!!! I called my ins and told them what was going on, i spoke to them for over an hour, they were amazed on the stupidity of walgreens, I had a conference call with walgreen and the head of the ins dept through the STATE!! I told walgreens I wanted a refund of the money that I had spent, They said they could no help me. I called the corporate offices and left a complaint ,we will see if they call me back. Walgreens is so incompetant, they dont realize how there desicions affect our lives. i spent two weeks eating only tortillas and potatoes so I could have the money for my meds. Im not talking about metamucil or peptobismol, i am talking about meds just so I can fuction in LIVE!!!!! who do they think they are??? This can not be ignored, I emplore all of you, dont drop your complaints!!! contact the news stations, call there corporate office!!! We are many, they are few, lets stick up for our rights here people!!! The louder we are, the more others will hear us!!! We can make a difference, LETS MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!!!! I will keep you posted of any news!!!

Upon visiting the Walgreens on the corner of Lamar and Davis I experienced the worst customer service ever. I took in some old photos to scan onto a photo book I was making on the walgreens photo site. A couple of the pictures I was using was copyright. Ok I understand I can't do that once he very rudly brought that to my attention...no big deal..I just won't use those. Upon asking a couple of questions regarding how to scan and looking for the scanner by myself which was in a drawer and was not visible. The employee (John) continued to speak to me as if I was dumb as a box of rocks. I finally finished scanning my photos. When I pickup up my disk he pulled up my photos on his computer and very rudly informed me that some of my pictures were professional and could not be used. I informed him that I didn't scan anything that said copyright restricted on the pack of the photo. He said that didn't matter if it said it on the photo or not...it just looked professional, but didn't tell me what I needed to do about it. It was really like a quessing game as to what I was suppose to do about it. Well he took them off. Which was fine, it's all about the way I was treated during my visit and the appearence of this man. Baggy jeans that were about 3 sizes to big and dragging the ground, huge blue shirt not even tucked in, and shoes untied. That just topped off my whole experience at this store. I will be picking up my photo book from another location since I have almost finished it, then I will be using a different store and never stepping foot in a Walgreens again. I will add that the 3 young girls working that night were very helpful and friendly. And the lady sitting behind the photo counter playing with the computer that never spoke a word or ever offered any kind of assistance...not sure she was really even an employee but maybe with this guy John. A most unpleasant experience all together.

After many years of receiving my medications from Walgreens; I am totally upset and will seek another pharmacy.

To whom it may concern: Looking at some of the reviews, you would probably like to hear something positive. I would like to provide special recognition to two Walgreen's pharmacies in Indio, CA. My husband and I have been traveling for several weeks when I ran out of one of my medications. Two pharmacies in Indio worked together with my Walgreens in Pasadena, Texas to see that I received the medication that I needed. Pharmacist James at the Jefferson St. store helped facilitate the transfer and then when we got lost in Indio and went to the wrong Walgreens, the pharmacist on 42nd. st.helped us claim the medication without a hassle.

should actually be 0-. most retail companies have personnel handbooks to tell there employees how and what they should do to help and serve customers. Walgreens on the other hand must have an employee manual telling worker what they do not have to do for there customers service. all walgreens employes especially in the pharmacy are very well versed in the latter manual. they are always perfectly happy not to help

Several days ago I posted on this website a review & as of yet, it has not been posted. Maybe I can see why with all the "ONE STAR REVIEWS" Walgreens have recieved. Personally, I wouldn't even give WG's ONE star for the treatment I received at the pharmacy in Trussville, Al., but had to in order to write a review. The short of it is that an older woman with white hair who I suppose is a pharmists (?) was rude, arrogant & wanted to argue with me just because I wanted to have an "easy-off" cap for my meds. I was sick & could not open my medicine so I had to drive all the way back to Trussville in order to get the cap off of the bottle. I had tried & tried & so did my neighbor & neither one of us could open the bottle. The woman showed me how & acted as if I was dumb for not knowing how. Guess my neighbor & I are not as SMART as SOME people!! I ask, would she please put it on my charts that I requested those tops because I have arthritis in my hands & she said NO, that I MIGHT sue her and/or Walgreens if an ACCIDENT were to happen. I assured her that I have NO children or grands & live alone, but she still said NO & then wanted to argue with me. I told her that I would sign my name that I would not hold anyone liable. I was trying to reason with her because I wanted to use Walgreens but to no no avail. When I got home, I called another WG's location & had NO problems with the lady in the pharmacy telling me there would be no problem, that she would put it into her computer along with my name & DOB and that from now on I would get the tops that I need. It is too bad that the WG's that I called is not in my area & I would have to travel a distance to get to it. I don't know or understand why this woman in Trussville had to be so rude & insisting that I MIGHT sue when I only wanted easy access to my medicine. She even told me that I might be surprised at the people out there that were looking for ways to sue & I told her, NO I wouldn't. Then I left the store. I will take my business elswhere now since there are 5 other pharmacys in the same area as Walgreens & I feel sure they will appreciate my business.

Walgreens, multiple inside sources reveal this, recently a Manager was fired at a Dayton, Oh store. After the fact assistant managers reveal he was fired because the stock room was not tidy. Right before he was fired a young woman of color was brought in to be an assistant manager, she was lets just say to be kind, incompetent. She had a germ phobic attitude, she grimaced openly when ever you or a customer got near her, maybe you accidently said nice to meet you, and held out your hand. Very unsettling. Multiple employees and customers wondered how do you get into management, with that attitude. Could it be because she was a woman and not white? I am not a racist in any shape or form, but wow! Next thing you know she transferred to another store, inside sources at the 2nd store reported the same strange behavior. Now here goes the unbelievable part, the white Manager was fired, the above mentioned non white woman was promoted to Manager at another store, that non white Manager was brought in to replace the white Manager that was fired. Just a little side note the District Manager that carried out all of these decisions was a non white female. Every one was shocked, employees and customers, customers left in droves. The new non white Manager was totally incompetent, he told employees that "hey your were hired to work weekends, No you will work anytime I say, like week days or week nights. You were hired to work nights, no you will work mornings. You were hired to work week days, no you will work nights, weekends, or what ever I say". Technically no need to change every ones schedules, all shifts were adequately covered. What do you think happens next? Well 7 of the 11 employees quit. Wow, what kind of District Manager allows that to happen? Most of these people were there 5+ years. That in its self is a red flag, this new Manager, does not know what he is doing. This is just simple Management 101 at your local community college. But that's just the beginning, apparently this guy comes and goes as he pleases. Sometimes not telling anyone. His idea of Managing truck day is, that as items come out of the truck, he grabs them and hands them to someone else, no idea of what should happen. Then he goes to his office to take personal calls. He does not know how to schedule, do add tags, do resets, nothing. How does someone become a Manager with this skill set? He avoids interaction with customers at all costs. Now the store is short handed, and the poor souls that are still there have to make up for his incompetence. I know a few hundred people that now do not do business at this location. They go to other Walgreen stores, or other drug stores altogether. Another revealing fact is that other Managers in the district know of this guy, and when they are told about what's going down at this store, they all seem to say "I am sorry that you have to report to him", know one has taken his side. Oh guess what, multiple inside sources reveal that the stock room is still in the same condition.

Walgreens has been my pharmacy since 2001. I have M.s., spinal stenosis, Lupus, lessions on the brain. from my stroke numbness in left leg. I have a hospital bed in my home and under nurse care that comes to my house. I am prescribed pain med's to allow my final days with my M.S. to be comfy. Walgreens in Pasco county, Pinellas, Hernando, hillsboro, will not help me. I also did an experiment, an M.s. patient age 62 went to walgreens and had him pain med's filled. I went after him and was refused even tho I showed them my medical records. Then I sent another friend with M.s. age 69 and he had his pain meds filled. When I went into walgreens and confronted them they told me they just so happened to find extra pain medicine. What type of game are you pulling? Were do I go now. Walgreens is not honest. Their is a problem here for patients that need thier meds. They need to start at the pill mills. Once you stop the pill mills you stop the prescriptions. You don't limit the pharmacy expecially patients that have medical records. If you dont have medical records then refuse. Not the people that are dying or have cancer, or just real pain that is documented by a legit Dr. not a pill mill Dr. Who do I contact? The governor? Angela

Walgreens...The pharmacist has the right to not dispense. However, they are required to contact your physician as to their concerns. It is easier for them to say they dont have it because they wont have to call your doctor... I would get the stores name , managers name, pharmacists name and their professional license number. You can always report them to the pharmacy board. Some pharmacists like to play god. And likely know a friend or family member that has had issues with meds. They take it out on you. If you feel like you are being mistreated..Ask for the store manager. Then have them find a store that has the medication for you to go to. I would still ask for the pharmacists name and license. Let them know they are not immune from NOT doing their job.

I am very upset the way the pharmaist treated me at the Trussville, Al. store. She is an older woman with white hair & I do not appreciate being treated the way I was treated by her. Recently I changed over from another pharmacy to Walgreens & had to have a prescription filled. Not knowing about the bottle caps, I took my meds home & discovered the next morning when I needed to take the medicine that I could not remove the top due to it being a child proof cap. I have bad arthritis in my hands & no matter how hard I tried, I could not get the top off. Even my neighbor tried with out success. So, I had to drive myself all the way back to WG's (and still sick)& ask the woman to please help me. She simply removed the cap, turned it over, screwed it on & handed it back to me. Her attitude was that I should have known HOW to do that, but unfortunatly some people aren't as smart as others...So, I ask her what I was to do IF I got my meds home & could not remove the top to reverse it & she said "Well, all you have to do is just flip this little "knob" & it comes right off...SEE!!" Strange, but me or my neighbor could not get the top off. So, then, I ask her if she would please put it in my records the I requested the easy-off caps from now on when I came in to purchase medicine & she BLUNTLY said NO. She said that she could not/would not do that. I ask why & she told me that IF a child got into the meds that I could SUE them. I told her that I have NO children & NO grands & NO friends with small children & she still said a firm NO. She said that people were just looking for ways to sue & that she would NOT be liable!! This was very upsetting to me because I felt that she was referring to me that I might sue WG's or her. And, all I wanted to do was trade at Walgreens & be treated fairly. I even told her that IF she wrote it on my records that I would gladly sign my name that I was responsible. But she still said NO! All she wanted to do was to argue with me. Today I decided to check her story to see if WG's had the same standard procedure so I called Walgreen's at another location & talked to someone in the pharmacy. I told them that I had recently gotten some meds from WG"S & could not open the cap because of arthritis. The lady said, "NO PROBLEM", ask me my name & DOB & said that she would enter it into the computer that from now on I would get "Easy Off" tops. Nothing was said about being sued or being liable. I wanted you to know what is going on in your stores & because of it, I will no longer trade with Walgreens. I know the lady on the phone today said that she would put it into the computer but the Walgreens in Trussville was convient for me whereas any other WG's are not & so I will look for me another pharamcy in my area. Thank You for your attention. M. J. Williams.

When is oxycodone have oxycodone back in stock in Orlando I have 2 surgeries on my lower back and I got 4 screws in my lower back I been 5 yeas clind but to the people that are selling they give to them but to the people that need it no this inhuman

too bad there is not a '0' rating or lower, these people don't deserve the '1'; i have been a completely satisfied customer with my walgreens pharmacy located on los altos pkwy, sun valley, nv (reno area); thought i would try the mail order version, how much more convenient could it be?? worst mistake i have ever made; we are going on 6months, i tried to work with them for the 1st 4mo to work out the kinks (**it happens), could not get one script correct in that 4 months, i had to place a call to their customer svc each month. (i only have 3 scripts to worry about); i have had to place 3 phone calls to get this account cancelled, and today have received one more email that a shipment is being processed. can't get service when i want it, correctly, and now i can't get rid of these assholes, i've had 3 people assure me the account has been cancelled, and i am so sick to death of hearing, "i am so-o-o-o sorry for the inconvenience to you. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE NO MATTER WHAT" best advice i can give to you, go somewhere, anywhere else!!!!!!!!!!

Walgreens, you have absolutely violated me as much as I can take. I have a progressive noncurable disease. I have been on meds for years, nerve, antidepressants, and yes, Painkillers. I have gone to the same Walgreens at 580/Belcher Road in Clearwater, FL for years. Have always gotten my meds with a smile and been a delight doing service. All of a sudden 5 months ago, NO walgreens (supposedly) had them. I did a little expirement and had a friend who is 68 years old go inafter I was told no, and surprise!! He got the same meds I was told weren't there. This is disgusting and I cant believe you allow your pharmacists to LIE to people. At least be honest and then I wouldn't have to drive 300 miles in circles looking for 1 medication...BTW I have to keep ALL my scripts because if I walk in with just my PK how does that look to your prejudiced "pharmacist". My DR. told me "I went to school for a decade, I did an internship, I did residency. These pharmacists go for what a few years? THEY should be doing what I prescribe." AMEN Doc AMEN'

Walgreens suck!!!! My meds been back order for a month now and now they telling me I can't fill my prescription because it a month old!!'n f##k Walgreens!!!! Mean f#%k walgreens!!!

Walgreen need to be shut down for ever because they don't know how to treat there customer!!!and the pharmacy never help us and never have our meds on stock!!! None of the Walgreen do they back order stop lying and tell us the truth!!! And pharmacy need to stop playing doctor!!! At walgreen asking why do I need this med!!! That none of there biz!! Fill my script and collect the money and awnser the question!!! That it and Walgreen need to order med on time I been 1 month with out my meds and I can't even walk or go to work because of the pain!!!! This suck!!!! Do something and fix it!!! I am not the only with the same problem!!!! Manny of us is hurt because the way pharmacy treats us!!!

Pharmacist Renee denied to give me my medication, then tells me to come back 2 days later they still play games AND NO MEDICINE!!!!!!!! . I was told I had to pick up my med refill on June 9, 5 weeks after the previous refill, because she felt I was abusing this drug.Really?, if my doctor says I need it, and my insurance will cover it, what gives her the right to tell me when and how I should take my medication.I was lied to telling me my insurance wouldn't let me fill til the 9th, but I went to another pharmacy with the same refill, and it went right through. I called my insurance and they said they never denied the script. I see my Dr. every 3 months, and she has no right to dispense my meds to her satisfaction.I will not be back unless this problem is fixed. Sincerely, Deidrea Stanke

My Walgreens store is at 10600 Montana in El Paso, Tx 79935, the handicapped zone in front is flanked at the corner where the doors are by two areas of gravel. Because many handicapped people are the passengers and therefore on the right side of the north side of Walgreens in the one case or the driver in the other is flanked by an area of gravel in both cases. One who has any walking difficulties cannot navigate those two gravel areas this forces the driver who would be parking on the store's west parking area next to gravel to have to inch into the slash marked area in order to stay off the gravel or in case of north parking the passenger must wrestle a walker, cane or wheel chair onto this gravel area and risk falling or the driver must infringe on the next parking space to let the passenger out taking more than his share of parking area. I don't know who designed this arrangement but it was likely someone totally insensitive to the needs of many of the patrons who go there plus being financially hurtful to Walgreens when customers go elsewhere rather than navigate that gravel. It is a design flaw. That area should be paved, never mind the more cozy look think about many of your customers
