My son is on vyvance 30 mg he is ADHD impulsive. I have a hard enough time filling his script each month as it is because the pharmacies are usually out. This month I got his script filled and the pharmacist told me to come back in the middle of the month to get what was owed. So I did that and the woman behind the counter told me they don't owe medicine we just loose out on those pills so what the heck it screws up his system when he misses thanks alot walgreens I will let everyone I know to never come there again dumb a""es.

0 stars!! Ok, my husband was I a severe car accident and many surgeries later with horrible nerve damage with spinal stenosis he's on a heavy pain med, called oxycodone. We literally have to stress ourselves out that once a month visit to Walgreens, he isn't very mobile so I do all the running around for him. His quality of life increases when he's on that medication he can play with his 2 small children and even do some work. When he's not on the meds he's still and in agonizing pain. Our huge concern is for Walgreens to pick and choose whom they want to dispense to. I know this because I got the scoop on this from an outsider who used to work there. If you don't look the part of someone needing the meds they will tell you " I'm not comfortable filling this for you" or " we're out" and many more excuses. Now I know the DEA cracked down recently but I just want to say shame on you Walgreens, how can you go by your pharmacy moto "were here to make you feel better" when you put yourself in this situation. Now real people with real problems are suffering all over! Does anyone have a number to corporate or just to see when and where in my location I can fill these for my husband? It's been 3 days with him detoxing and in bed, it's heart renching to see him like this especially seeing the sadness in my kids since their daddy can't play with them. He is an honest, lovable man that had a bad year because someone almost killed him. Thanks for letting me vent but if anyone knows anything as to what I can do moving forward that would be of great help. Thank you!!!

NO STARS, THEY DON'T DESERVE A STAR!!!! I am legally disabled from Chronic Intractable Pain among many other conditions and see a very legit, well respected doctor in Central Florida. Before I found him I could not leave the bed for several years and was about to just give up because my life was over as I knew it. He treated me with just 2 medications and I had my life back. After 6 years of using a local very old mom and pop pharmacy they retired and closed. So I simply took my records and scripts to the nearest Walgreen's to the Pharmacist to be filled. I was told VERY RUDELY, LOUD and NASTY that they no longer carried nor filled any narcotics! I immediately went back to my doctors office and he called them and contacted corporate. Fortunately, I went to another pharmacy next to Walgreen's and they were more than happy to fill my medications and I have had no more problems! Since my problems with this disgrace of a pharmacy took place I realized that Florida had gone to FAR this time with cracking down on the pill mills and addicts! With the help of the facebook page "The Florida Crawl", The American Pain Society, A Pain Patient Advocate and a really super Attorney! Now I am ADVOCATE for Patients in REAL PAIN and feel very empowered!

I am 60 yrs old and just returned from vacation for july 4th 2012 where I spent several days in Chattanooga Tn - my vacation went well except for my unfortunate experience with Walgreens parking lot . As a visitor to the city I was not familiar with the areas and the parking . I had wanted to visit the Delta Queen steam boat converted into a hotel. The area was hard to understand for a GPS so I pulled into a large empty parking lot of Walgreens in north Chattanooga and parked my car and proceeded to walk in the direction of the hotel. No sooner than arriving at the hotel a wall of wind came through and I took refuge there for at least 30mins. It was a tornado 5 miles north that had touched down. When I walked back to my car - it was gone. It had been towed by a towing company that's about as shady as a drug dealer.... They said Walgreens called them and they have a contract with them to tow any vehicle in there lot that isn't a customer. I did park in there lot and there were towings signs in the lot that to my great expense and incontinence didn't notice as I was more interested in getting a spot under a tree for shade since the temp was right at 100 degrees. The towing guy had my car 7 miles (can fair) from Walgreens I'm a very rough part of Chattanooga and 1st said he was open til 2am and wanted cash $200.00 then he called back and said he was closing early so I needed to bring the cash quickly. A single female at 11pm trying to get her car in the wrong neighborhood with $200.00 cash on her is a law suit waiting to happen . It is with great discuss that any Corp organization would have dealing with a character as this......the cab driver mentioned its a racket with Walgreens and that the towing fellow has a felony charge pending right now. Walgreens you are open for law suits and are costing Chattanooga to lose vacationers who spend money.....an idea for the Walgreens there could be a warning 1st and if you have habitual problems then enforce the towing if needed.....but when your lot is basically empty and there are no events drawing people to your lot you leave a grungy feeling of business ethics with me Jglass

I live across the street from your store at Woodman Ave and Van Nuys Ave. in Arleta, California in the San Fernando Valley. This weekend, a couple of dozen people have been conducting a car was on Saturday and Sunday, July,7 & 8th. They make a lot of noise including loud music. I feel that Walgreen's is not being a good neighbor to the people around them by allowing such activities. I wonder what permit these people have to conduct a separate business on your property. Is it in the Zoning ordinance. Why you permit this kind of activity is incomprehensible to me. If you would like to buy my condominium, I am more than willing to move away from the noise.

I called today to get my asthma medication filled and was on hold for 34 mins before anyone answered when they did they TOLD not ask me to hold....the afetr 44 mins and 28 seconds hung up on me...I called and spoke to Mr. Jones (manager) and asked for the # for corporate and he said he could give me district...then hung up on me....called back and got a bogus number from him....he kept saying that the pharmacist was busy and she was by herself...hanging up on an asthmatic when there are having an asthma attack....that is pitiful....I told him I could have died...he could not cared less.......this is the Walgreens on Helena Rd....there number is 205-444-9488....

Why does Walgreen's give Pharmists who are in contract with them a 30 minute lunch break?

I have been going to walgreen for my meds for 7 year the same meds same doctor and my normal pharmacy was out of the meds. I then wen to the one of 41 and Beed Ridge Road. The pharm went and looked she acted like she counted and she didn't have the whole scirpt but she did.I asked her to fill partial and fax the amount to my doctor and I would settle up with my doctor the truth then came out becuase i go to another wlagreens she refused to fill it scince I had not gotten meds at that walgreen before. Really Walgreens is Walgreen I spend alot of money there. This is a joke please set a clear standard for your pharmascist and not thier assistance make the decsion or be forced to tell the truth. I went to school longer than your pharmiscist and yet they know better than my doctors? Really this is a joke. That new commercial going above and beyond hoping over the counter yeah right. I dress in shorts and ties for my Job and very clean cut I can only imagine what they say about people who are not able to afford nicer close and have the needs for the med how do they treat them. What a joke Upset in FL

I went to Walgreens, my normal pharmacy, to fill my prescription for Loratab/10. Two times I was told I had to pick it up the next day. The last time, they looked up my records and and learned Walmart filled my prescription 28 days ago. This time I was furious. Felt violated for investigating me because of "1" day early and looked up all my pharmacy records. Went to CVS with no problem. Transferring all my medications to CVS.

I RECENTLY SHOPPED AT WALGREENS-WAS IN A HURRY-DIDN'T LOOK AT RECEIPT UNTIL NEXT DAY. WHEN I LOOKED I FOUND I WAS CHARGED FULL PRICE FOR AN ITEM THAT WAS TAGGED ON SALE. I TOOK THE RECEIPT AND THE PRODUCT BACK FOR MY REFUND AND WAS TOLD I DIDN'T READ THE SALE TAG PROPERLY. THE ITEM I BOUGHT WAS NOT ON SALE-I GOT MY REFUND BUT TOLD THE YOUNG LADY I WASN'T HAPPY- THAT THIS HAD HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE. SHE WALKED ME TO THE ITEM IN QUESTION AND PROCEEDED TO SHOW ME HOW TO READ THEIR SALE TAG-WELL THIS WAS AN EXPERIENCE-THE TAG WAS IN THE SAME PLACE HOWEVER THERE WAS A "MINUTE SIZED PENCILED IN ARROW" POINTING TO THE ITEM ABOVE. YOU COULD BARELY SEE THE "ARROW" YOU REALLY HAD TO LOOK FOR IT! I TOLD THEM I WOULD NOT SHOP IN THEIR STORE AGAIN EVEN THOUGH IT WAS CONVENIENT FOR ME (COULD GO ON MY LUNCH TIME) AND I WAS SERIOUSLY THINKING OF SHIFTING MY PRESCRIPTIONS ELSEWHERE JUST BECAUSE OF THEIR FALSE ADVERTISING. HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE GETTING SHAFTED BY THIS CHEAP TRICK?

The Walgreens may be a very good store in some places,some have very good employees and work very hard to keep merchandise stocked and all employees and managers all work together to get things done,,which is so great. It seems they need to have corporate to maybe pay more for what these people do ,,low wage is bad considering they work alot of nights till closing being away from their families too much..Then above all that that can't spend the holidays with families,all because Walgreens is afraid they are going to lose too much money that day..That is sad. Thanksgiving and Christmas is most special of all this is family time,,I bet corporate people are off..my mom like her job there at the store,,but is still looking for a job that has some respect for the employees and families,plus come off of some of the money that employees help make them..What they do should be more than mimium wage that's just bad on such a big company.Especially when the employees is helped to make this co. that it is..............

Walgreens at Conroy and John Young Parkway in Orlando, FL insisted my husband picked up his seizure medication when in fact he did not! He had to spend 30 minutes arguing with the pharmacist who finally admitted the mistake. I have been taking Valium for four years and the stuff they gave me does not look real and I am not sleeping. It looks like chalk and is thicker than any Valium I have seen. The Ambien they gave me does not work. The generic drugs are sub par at best....I am concerned that the FDA and DEA can't regulate all these foreign manufacturing companies because it is as big as the war on drugs. I have reported these fake valiums to the FDA as well as the clerical error on my husband's seizure medicine. I hope more people start speaking up. I tell my Dr.'s but I am not sure they are even aware how much we are suffering out here. I have not slept but one night in about 20 days. This is life threatening and I wonder how many people die every day due to the lack of audits done in these pharmacies.

I was at the Walgreens on walnut creek in Mansfield tx. There was a man in front of me getting cartons of cigarettes. While the lady behind the counter was about to ring them up, he grabbed them and ran out the door. The girl at the register was upset about what happened. Them her manager went up to her, while I was still in line, pointed a finger inches from her face and scolded. Like the poor girl was a toddler. There is no need to scold in that maner and in front of coustomers and other employees!! Not once did the manager ask if the girl was ok. I believe the mangers name is Lois and the poor girl is Amanda. Even after being treated like absolute crap Amanda still put a smile on her face (through tears and a very red face) and helped with what I needed. Thank you Amanda and I'm sorry your manager disrespect you in that manner. Treat your employees with respect!!!! I don't think I'll be going to that Walgreens ever again!

The Walgreens in 12st and Kiwanis , Sioux Falls, SD is horrible store. rude managers, rude and disrespectful guy who works in photo place. They need to learn how to treat customers.

I am 65 years old and have an intractable pain for life condition. I have been filling prescriptions for oxycodone at Walgreen's for years. Of course, they were issued by a legitimate Doctor. Walgreen's suddenly stopped refilling this prescription. Now, I'm facing unbearable pain and (Walgreen's own words. "Don't stop taking this medication abruptly.") withdrawals. Walgreen's, this is incomprehensible!

On Friday June 15, 2012 all computers are down. I am approached by a very friendly team member who is entering my purchases by hand to consider transferring my prescriptions and receive a 25.00 coupon. I tell her I just signed a release to do that from CVS but the pharmacy did not offer me any coupon. Upon paying for my purchases that exact coupon comes up as a promotion. I bring the coupon to the pharmacist he says they don't honor it until I pay for my prescription which was in the process of being transferred. Monday June 18, I go to the drive in to pick up my prescription & the pharmacist informs me they need an approval to renew from my doctor. It will be ready for pick up on Tuesday. Tuesday June 19, I go to the drive thru ask for my prescription and present my coupon. I am told I cannot use the coupon because I "did not" transfer my prescription it had to be called in!! I said Walgreens Never had this prescription the life of the prescription has been at CVS. I was told I had to come in for them to get approval, the onsight Manager approved the transaction But the pharmacy calls some corporate approval line to get and EXCEPTION???? I will have to wait or they could call me!!!! What and leave without my coupon.....you already Claim I didn't transfer my prescription what recourse will I have if I leave with no proof of your coupon.......sooo for a lousy 25.00 coupon I have no satisfaction and certainly regret the decision to transfer ANY prescriptions.

Walgreen had ad for Lindsay Olives. I visited store 5/28/12 and supply not available. Again on 5/31/12 still out and accepted a Rain Check. Visited again 6/14/12 and product still out. California law requires enough product be available to meet expected demand. Location is at 14100 Blossom Hill Rd, Los Gatos, CA. I will have to notify Consumer Protection Unit of District Attorney on this gross violation of Calif. Law.
